I'd Like a Rain Check Please!

Royalty and his friend Kyson had been moving very diligently. The two genin had been very swift. All of that training really came in handy for the two. Once they had been inside the rain country borders, it seemed as if the atmosphere changed. Royalty could not put his finger on it.

The young Yuka boy stopped for a moment. He signaled for his friend to stop as well. They had been a good distance inside of the country. Royalty spoke to Kyson.


"Hey, we've made it to the next country. Straight ahead is the Fire country if I remember correctly. I traveled across the land a few years ago. As I said before, I was born in Sunagakure. What do you want to do? Go straight ahead or see how Amegakure is like?"

Kyson and Royalty continued their journey on leaving Kumogakure. After flying for a while they began to run on foot. It would be faster and easier. As they were running they quickly approached the rain country borders. When Kyson approached the Rain Country Kyson was hoping he see a lot of rain. Kyson loves rain because he can turn his body into water and it keeps his body nice and hydrated. 

Kyson noticed Royalty stopped for a second after he was given the signal to. Kyson wondered why he stopped.

"Wow this is the first time I have been outside of the village. And lets go straight towards the fire country and go to Sunagakure." Kyson said

Royalty was kind of disappointed in Kyson's answer. He kind of hoped that he actually wanted to go to the Village Hidden in the Rain. However, he could not get too upset with his decision. Kyson's feelings were very understandable. The both of them had a long journey ahead of them. It would be best to just get it over with. Who knows what awaits them in Sunagakure.

Giving his friend Kyson a smile, Royalty then spoke to him and replied. "Alright, that's perfectly fine. We'll just go over to the land of Fire. From what I remember, the country is vast and has a lot of trees. It's the last country between us and the Land of Wind though. Let's g...."

Right as Royalty was about to finish his statement, a few raindrops had fell on the two. Royalty looked up and noticed huge rainclouds approaching in abundance. If they didn't leave now, they would eventually be soaked.

"Come on, we have to hurry and get to the Fire Country. I know you might like all of that water, but I'd rather not gain 20 pounds from having my clothes drenched in water. Ha ha," Royalty laughed slightly. It was slight because he wasn't really joking in his last statement. Adding a little humor would lighten the fact that Royalty was about to be annoyed. He started to run towards the Southwest. The air current was still following in their direction.

Kyson rather go straight to the fire country and go to the sand village without stopping. Kyson is nervous that there might be people coming after us after leaving without permission. Kyson has never left the village before and on top of that his first time was without authorization. Kyson was also nervous that there would be ninja more powerful than him in the area, so he wanted the trip to end quick. Royalty's father told Kyson that there were ninja out there that are really powerful and kill for no reason. Kyson knows he is strong but he is not strong enough yet.

After Royalty started to speak, suddenly rain drops began to fall from the sky. Kyson then put his arms out and looked towards the sky as the rain was falling on his face. Kyson felt like he was in heaven.

"Ahhhh, this feels so amazing. Ha ha, fine Royalty. Lets keep moving." Kyson followed Royalty towards the southwest direction as they continued their journey.
