Re: The Terror of the Forest [P-Kasai]

Standing back up Tatsuya had his earth dragon tighten around the beast body making it harder for it to move. If the beast were to get free from the strangle of the earth Tatsuya would then just have to release some shadows but it probably wouldn't be necessary. Besides Kasai would act on this opportunity and knowing him, his punch would be strong and fast. In that instant Kasai also creates a dragon but made of fire. It charges forth and clashes with the beast intertwining with Tatsuya's dragon which creates a spiral of earth and fire. It was funny, when ever Tatsuya was with Kasai symbols would show up every where. It was almost like he was reading the Heart of Darkness (if that were a book that excised XD).
Anyways the fire had landed and the creature stopped moving. Tatsuya releases the jutsus and walks toward Kasai while the dragon of fire still consumes its bod.
"Well that wasnt too bad." Tatsuya says with a chuckle. However in that moment Tatsuya quickly turns back around to face the beast. His eyes widen slightly with surprise, when the beast chakura signature is still active. Slightly confused as Kasai's fire was very powerful the confusion isn't cleared up until the fire dissipates.
As the fire recedes, under the fur thick pearly white slabs of bone is revealed. It covered most of the beast body in peaces shaped like slabs of flag stone. As well in places around its back a few spikes of bone also erected piercing the stone dragon, braking it apart into peaces meaning that the bone had at least a strength of 70. A little terrified and amazing at this Tatsuya switches into a whole new mode, putting this battle at a much higher level.
Tatsuya jumps back a bit putting about 15m between him and the beast murmuring. "Oh how you amaze me mother earth."
Having jumped back a bit Tatsuya was able too evaluate the beast a little more. Taking a closer look to the bone armor there was about only a few inches between each piece except for a spot around the bottom of its neck however it would hard to access due to the beast huge arms. Luckily however it didn't look like the beast was able to shoot any of the bone which could be really hard to deal with but there may be other tricks hidden from the eye.
Tatsuya would most likely be able to take it down with his shadow sewing technique as they could slip in between the spaces of bone but again Tatsuya didnt want to get too close in case there was another unknown element. As well trying to pierce between the bone would be difficult as it would take much accuracy especially considering the beast would be moving quickly. One would then say well just use your shadow manipulation to pin it but again the creature was much faster then Tatsuya's shadows and trying to get a hold would be harder to do but not impossible.
Tatsuya stays on guard waiting to also see if Kasai has anything in mind.

Lo and Belhold, the demon returns from its Lair! Flying from the world of Mount & Blade, Jas... erherm! I mean Kasai remembered he had more important duties than chase digtal bandits away from his castle, which he did not so legitimately take.
But! Such should not be used towards word count.
To say that Kasai had something in mind would be far-fetched. It was, after all, far beyond his bedtime, and not to mention 1am. This, of course, was the point where everything Kasai thought became dictated in a much stranger way. Woooo! Let's post some shit, am I right!
Kasai, noticing that this beast had some weird spikes coming from its back that somehow deflected the damage? (I only read your post once, and I am only going to read it once, because if I read it again, I will understand it less; welcome to 1am Kasai posting. I said I'd post, I meant it). Then, he decided that the only logical course of action would be to simply charge the beast head on.
Of course, while he did this, he would not do it defenseless, and he was preparing to activate his Immolation technique at any minute, as such would cause the beast to get HOT DAMN BURNED if it decided to touch him. Yes, hot damn burned, not just ouch burned. This was a new level. If this beast would touch him, it would try to grab an ordinary looking man, seeming to be very dumb and rushing into the maws of hell, it would reach and get burned like a soldering iron burn, cause Kasai was just that spicy.
This was Kasai's course of action that he would take, and Kasai set about taking that course of action.
Kasai over and out.

Again it seemed that Kasai would be the light that would distract the beast as so once again Tatsuya goes in for a sneaky attack in combination with Kasais. It was late in the day and shadows were long and expansive so with a small step back Tatsuya's foot connects to a shadow of a tree. Then Tatsuya calmly preforms Rat→Dog→Monkey→Hare→Snake→Rat and at a speed of 70 Tatsuya melts into a black liquid and eventually is no where to be seen. Traveling at a speed of 100 Tatsuya races across the web of shadows that are created by the trees and in no time at all Tatsuya is at the base of the beast but far enough away so that the beast dosent step on him.
Tatsuya watches Kasai charges at the monster with flame swirly around him as if he had just come from hell and in hope Kasais flames would do some damage to the bone armor. Kasai was noticeably faster then the beast but it was still fast and still had the potential to dodge attacks. As it swings its largs arms at Kasai (who should be able to dodge) Tatsuay waits for the beast to turn his back to him and hopefully Kasai would be able to aid in this.
Assuming this will eventually happen Tatsuay prepares step two of three. Being in the form gave Tatsuya the sneakiness advantage and so preforming Rat, Tatsuya extents his own shadow out form the trees to connect with the beast. However Tatsuay does not bring a stop to the beast movements instead when the time is right Tatsuya then preforms Rat → Bird and eight tendrils sprout up from the base of the beast. Tatsuya then has each on pierce deep between the bon armor in spots around its back legs and stomach. Tatsuya would had hit some vital organs but not enough to bring the beast to an instant stop. But having woven his shadows in and out of its body it should be much harder for the beast to move. And so hopefully Kasai will be able to give the final blow.

As Kasai charged the beast, forming quickly the three hand signs required for the jutsu, he found himself covered in flames, which at mele range had a power of 80 (+5 from passive, + 5 from base chakra, +10 from Chakra Bo), would no doubt destroy the arm that the beast swung at him with.
However, Kasai being himself, would let the arm get as close to him as possible before substituting away, so that the flames would deal maximum damage. It was risky, but with the speeds that Kasai was capable of, it was simple for him. Having also mastered the substitution jutsu, Kasai did not need to perform any hand signs to substitute, and therefore could do it in any second.
He watched, planning very carefully as the beast swung. He saw the flames that surrounded him begin to bite and gnaw away at the skin of the beast, slowly destroying the arm that swung at him, and then, just as it was inches away from hitting him, Kasai took his opportunity, and then in an instant, he was gone in a poof, and the beast's now burning arm only hit a small twig, and found that the heat was now above it, and approaching quickly.
Kasai had used his favorite and perhaps signature way of substituting, no where that they would expect one to substitute, but also in plain sight; above the target. The first time he had used this, it had been the killing blow to Makussu, had Youka not interfered, and ever since, each time that Kasai had used it, the target had not expected it, and instead fallen prey to this move. However, with immolation, this move was given away instantly, but also infinitely more deadly. The target could easily tell where the intense heat was coming from, but with it coming from right above it, the only hope they would have of dodging would be to substitute, and if they did not have it mastered as Kasai did, they would not make it away in time without suffering injures, and to head as well.
As Kasai fell, from a small distance of three meters, the heat went from intense to life-threatening as he came down on the creatures head. He did not aim to kick it, or punch it, or do any physical damage as he fell. The flames would be enough, and as he fell on the head, it would likely only be a minute before the burns to the skull of the beast killed it.
However, this would only be a large amount of damage, and watching Tatsuya make his own moves, Kasai suspected that this kill would not be his, but Tatsuya's. It did not matter to him, though, they were a team, and therefore the kill was both of theirs, not that it truly mattered, as killing was not a thing to be proud of.

The beast was roaring and thrashing as Kasai's flames hit it and in that moment Tatsuya's shadows dive deep into its body. They curve in and out of its flesh pricing through the walls of its intestines. Tatsuya holds the beast for a time until it slowly falls to the ground creating a slight cloud of dust. The shadows slither back and Tatsuya takes a deep breath.
"Well that wasn't too bad." Tatsuya says walking towards Kasai making sure not to step in the now forming pool of blood. "I hope we get paid good for this!"
Thinking on this it would be odd going into the missions office requisition coin and then to declare an attack on the village. However Tatsuay needed the ryo so that he could finish a suit of armor that he had been working on. It would be made of black shiny leather that would not only give Tatsuya an armor boost but also a boost to his shadow manipulation. He had watched Kasai as his fire justus grew beyond the jutsu its self and it had inspired Tatsuay todo something similarly. Especially if they were to become rouge ninjas. This idea however frustrated Tatsuya as he didnt want to be seen as an enemy of the state and now that Jason was no longer Hokage it would make it much easier for Tatsuya and Kasai to be put on a bingo book. Perhaps Tatsuya would be able to form a group on ninja that were no affiliated with one village nor were considered missing ninja ether. They could be nomadic not staying in one centralized placed and were then known to be citizens of the world where they help anyone in need of it. Freedom fighters they would be. However this idea eventually makes Tatsuya choke for thats what Kira claimed to have done and honestly their group were no different from the Akatsuki. Spreading tyranny and hate. It would be ideas for later, for now the village was Tatsuyas immediate concern.
Tatsuya looks around and turns on his Hyper Seismic sense to detect of any other person was in ear shot of them. Tatsuya could just use chakra sensory but it was possible for ninja the slip through this and so this way if anyone entered a radius of 30m. As well every once in a wile Tatsuya will switch between this and chakra sensory for extra protection. Tatsuya didnt really care if any one from the village over heard them but rather he didnt want someone who was also very powerful spoiling their plans like Kira.
"Now then about the village. I have reviewed many of the active ninja and most of them are just petty genin with a few exceptions like Yensung and possibly Risako. However I think it best to keep this quiet from the other village and missing ninja. As an attack would be unexpected I don't think we would have to worry about another Kage getting involved however the village is under watch of Kira and Kiru. If they were to show up this may put a foil in things."
It wasn't like Tatsuya and Kasai were going to burn down the village (maybe just a bit) and do a village take over but even so many of these powerful ninja do like to throw their power around.
"I don't mean to show weakness but I don't particularly feel like dyeing and so the question is would we fight or flight?" Another option could be is to evaluate the situation once in it but it would still be nice to have a bit of a plan. Nonetheless Tatsuya waits to hear what Kasai has to say.

Kasai killed his jutsu as the beast fell, the flames dispersing, and the heat and smoke going with it. He quickly jumped off, and seeing that Tatsuya was talking, landed near his friend.
"The ninja within the village are why we are to strike," Kasai said. "With the exception of Kiranomo --the defiling beast of "peace" that kills little children for her own gain-- it is almost as if we are causing a Deja Vu, is it not? When Youka came, the village was falling apart, and struggling, with only a handful of Genin remaining. He may have used different methods, but in the long run, I would by lying if I said that he did not make the village stronger, on some level." Kasai said. The demon had taught them much, and now Kasai could see that he had indeed known what he was doing. He had been a smart man.
"Yensung will come, I know that. There are others as well, whose rank under-represents their power, just as my own does," Kasai paused, almost laughing. It made him remember that, technically speaking, he was still a chuunin, though with the capabilities of an ANBU. "But, ultimately, they are not a match for us. Not the two of us. Too few of them have fought alone on the training field, day after day. I doubt any have the sense of teamwork and cooperation that we do, and few, if any, have ever fought with the intention of taking a life, as we both have times before. We have experience, age, and knowledge over them; our only difficulty will be trying to take on too many at a time."
Kasai paused, thinking about this before continuing.
"I suggest that we focus on one at a time, even of we are attacked by many. We will dodge the attacks focused on us, and I will distract them as best I can with my Genjutsu, but every attack we hail will go towards the strongest one conscious at that time," he proceeded. "But if Kiranomo shows up," he said, sighing. He wanted to have killed her, that day she helped the group of "freedom fighters" kill a ten year old boy just for the eyes he had in skull. The world was a dangerous and sickening place; he was glad that after the next day, he would not be a part of it. "If she shows up, and there are others who match our power, then yes, I see no other option but to flee. She does not easily understand boundaries, and the village would be better off if she had never visited it.
"You should flee first, if that is to happen, and I will ensure you get away safety before going myself, only because I have spent more time studying the methods of evasion and am more likely to dodge her attacks. Then I would follow," he said, and part of him meant it. Another part of him, however, wanted to fight her to the death, and see how close he could get taking her with him as he went.
"But, if we work correctly, she will not be alerted, and our work will be done before she can arrive."
Then, Kasai paused, thinking. Both him and Tatsuya knew the layout of the village perfectly, and a map would not be needed. Hell, Kasai looked around himself, they didn't really need anything visual, with his genjutsu and all the smoke that surrounded them after all the fire he had expelled.
Performing the correct handseals, Kasai used his multistory building jutsu (such a funny name for something with so many more purposes) to create a large map of Konohagakure on the ground around them. He was able to change the colors of the map at will, and shortly, it was as if they were looking at it from a thousand feet above the village. Then, he set about doing his work.
"I suggest that we begin here," he said, pointing at the largest gate of the village. "This is the gate that, above all others, should be guarded by a chuunin squad --at the least-- twenty-four seven, if not more. However, it is very consistently left alone. Perhaps starting the assualt there will remind them that the village has an entrance; and if I burn it down, it might encourage them to build a better one, that does not have holes or broken hinges.
"I believe the sight of smoke at this location will bring at least one shinobi to the sight, if not more --likely Yensung, one of the most observant--, but I doubt it will bring them all," he said, having light up that area of the map in a bright red, as if it was burning. "But the watch towers on either side of it are still in good repair, and there is no purpose in destroying those, so the gate is the only thing to go there."
Next, the red area spread to the training field. "Of course, there will be Shinobi here," Kasai said, looking at Tatsuya. "Likely the younger, weaker ones, but those are who we are passing Konoha onto, and so they too must know how to defend the village. If they don't come running right away, the grass in this area has grown very long in some places, and cutting it or burning it should once again bring someone to the scene. If it does not, we might have to introduce ourselves as an unexpected training obstacle to some of the Genin there." Kasai turned the red in the training area a bright and deep red, signifying they were done in that area as well.
The red passed through the Uchiha district and the Hokage Rocks. "It is unlikely to find any left here, if we have knocked everyone before this place unconscious, and only civilians are likely to remain there, and so it would be better to pass it over. It would also be morally sickening to attack the hospital, for the people there are already doing their part to defend the village, or are there because they have done so."
The red flooded past these areas as well, showing they would move on. "If we're hungry, there's the noodle bar, but that is generally abandoned by shinobi," Kasai said, pasuing, and looking at Tatsuya, a slow smile across his face. "Then, of course, there is one last place remaining." The red smoke flooded past the whole city, leaving one building un-touched.
"The Hokage's Chambers."
The red smoke flooded this area as well, and then all receded at once, leaving a clean and un-touched map of the village at their feet.
"Of course," Kasai said, the smile fading. "At any point, we could drop the mission, or be forced to do so. We won't be killing anyone, and so there may be a point where we have knocked every ninja in the village unconscious, and therefore be done with our mission. Or, someone such as Kiranomo or Mitsui may arrive and try to best us, in which case we leave. Or, it may be that Konoha does not truly need this training experience, and we are bested by Shinobi of the village, in which case, we will also leave."
Kasai paused, realizing then that he had essentially spoken a whole story to Tatsuya, and had not given him the chance to talk in return. He looked at his friend, and nodded, signaling it was his turn.
"What do you think?"
"The ninja within the village are why we are to strike," Kasai said. "With the exception of Kiranomo --the defiling beast of "peace" that kills little children for her own gain-- it is almost as if we are causing a Deja Vu, is it not?

Tatsuya listens to Kasai and chuckles at the mention of Youka. It was true that they were acting similarly to Youka however what was more interesting was Kasai and Tatsuya them selfs.
Long ago the Sage of the Six Paths split apart his chakura between his tow sons. One possessed Yin wile the other had Yang. The two brothers were constantly in conflict and different ideologies sprouted from this. Long after the bothers passed away the mark of Yin and Yang stayed presenting them self in different forms of jutsu and eventually clans. This is most apparent in the Senju and Uchiha clan. Through time it is thought that the spirit of the brothers were passed on and would present them selfs within the bodies of shinobi. Examples of this would be Madura and the Hashirama Senju and Naruto and Sasuke.
Tatusya didn't think him and Kasai were the reincarnations of the two brothers however it was interesting that Kasai and Tatsuya had bonded so well considering their difference in power. Tatsuya used power founded in the imagination being Yin and Kasai used physical energy being Yang. It was almost as if because of their friendship the two were able to bring together Yin and Yang brining them so much closer to the Sage. This made Tatsuya happy as one the Sage held much power as well even though Tatsuya and Kasai had conflicting energy they were very close.
“This sounds good but we should be careful not push it too hard. We want the village to feel fear and to do so I believe that we must use much strength but we have to be sure that we dont leave too big of a scar. For it may discourage the young shinboi and could turn them towards more darker forms of life.”
Tatsuya wanted to inspire the village and to do so they would show it fear but he didn't want turn its shinobi into missing ninjas.
“Assuming our plan goes well there is a high chance for us to be marked as missing ninja. This does discomfort me as I do not want to be labeled as a criminal. While we will be enacting criminal behavior I don't believe that this means we must become an enemy of the shinobi world.”
One could see this foolishness, as you cant commit a crime without becoming a criminal however Tatsuya sees it differently.
“Perhaps it is the label “Missing Ninja” or “Criminal” that I do not like.
I wonder if it were possible to be labeled as a shinobi who fights against injustice but does not belong to any one village. A Wonderer could be a sufficient label but World Citizen sound more appealing to me. One would still be labeled as Student, Genin, Chunin ect (except Kage) but would belong to the world.”
Tatsuya paused for a moment thinking about the topic.
“These people would be considered nomads. Free to move where ever, whenever. If one would choose to live in a village for a time and do missions for that village then so be it but if they prefer to wonder the earth becoming stronger or going through self discovery then that works as well. Anyone would be free to identify as this and would not have to go through strict rules and regulations to identify as such. Most importantly there wouldn't be a leader nor a location in which the identification is centered to.”
It was a rather simple idea and it was surprising that it hadn't been created sooner. However Tatsuya was unsure to how the group would get recognized. He could go and meet with all the world leaders but this would take much time and Tatsuya would probably be laugh at. Then again did he really need the approval of the world leaders? All he really needed was a few people who thought similarly if even that. Beside a spoken ideology was much more powerful then and written constitution. A little excited with the idea Tatsuya goes back to the point.
“My point is that I dont want to be seen as a world criminal and we have to consider what will become of our name after this act.”
Tatsuya of course still wanted to make the village stronger by attacking it but still wanted to roam the world as a free man.
“Anyways I have been rambling on for far to long. I think this plan will work and we should act as soon as possible. Perhaps in a day or two.”
His rant made Tatsuya’s head hurt slightly and soon he would hopefully be able to go to bed. After of course he finds someone to cover his shift which could be a pain. Nonetheless the day was productive but Tatsuya wanted to see if Kasai had anything else to add before leaving.

Kasai listened to all that had been said, and simply nodded (cause this word count needed is pretty much done).
Now, they needed to prepare themselves for what lay ahead. It would be something to be remembered, and hop fully never forgotten by the Village Hidden in the Leaves, ever. It was a lesson that he had intended to teach since the beginning, and finally, the circle of life had come around.
Kasai looked to the walls of the village, and knew what would happen next. They were first, and now was the time for it begin.
"Then there's no time to waste," Kasai said. "Let's go."

(5119 word count. Requesting 5,000 ryo from the mission rewards. Also, 2k words towards Genjutsu spec, and 1.9k towards finishing combustion. Yes, this leaves about 1.5k words left, but I don't know what to do with them. Thanks!)

Tatsuya was finished with what he had to say and Kasai had nothing more to add. It was time for a new being. Not only for the village but also for Kasai and Tatsuya.
"I will be with you until the end."
And so the tow marched towards the village that they called home to bring on destruction.
