Kurisu Jr's Genin Exam

Half way to see his father, Kurisu Jr decided to go for it on his own. He changed direction and headed straight for the ninja academy. It didn't take him long to arrive there after leaving the training fields. When he arrived he made his way toward the room in which the Genin exams were held. When he stopped in front of the door, he noticed a perfectly blank wall right next to it. He glanced between the wall and the door for a moment before shrugging and making his decision. Walking over to the wall, the boy began punching the wall with all his strength, creating numerous small holes where his fists landed until there was a single hole big enough for the boy to step through. That is exactly what he did. Stepping through the debris of the broken wall, the boy noticed some older men with headbands on their foreheads having the symbol of Konoha etched into them. The boy stepped into the center of the room before speaking. "Kurisu Ametsuchi Jr. Son of the Hokage. I want to take the Genin exam."

That's new I suppose...

Ashi heard it before she saw it. At first it she thought it was someone knocking on the door, but then some kid smashed his way straight through the wall. Yes, through the wall. Yes, that is a thing apparently. No, Ashi did not plan on taking the blame for it. After all, she was only here to proctor the genin exams. Call it a off duty assignment, but she really did enjoy it. Plus today was an especially good day, because she did not have a hangover from the night before.

All that said, the woman could not help but give the boy who announced a look as if he had two heads. Sitting behind the desk at the front of the room she could feel her anger rising slightly. It didn't matter whose son you were; one does not simply smash through a wall and demand a genin exam. It simply was not done.

"Kid," Ashi said with a dangerous edge to her voice. "I don't care who your father is. Go back outside and come in through the door like everyone else."

Hopefully the woman's tone made it clear that this was not a request, but a demand.

If the boy returned to the room properly then the Inuzuka would address the punk directly.

"Welcome," Ashi said a bit kinder than before. "Now, if you would like to take the genin exam then perform and explain the transformation and clone techniques. You will also be required to fix the wall you broke."

Once again this was not a request.

To the boy's somewhat astonishment, the woman sitting behind the desk seemed to be angry about the boy entering the room through the wall next to the door. He and his father had pretty much always entered and exited rooms and buildings that way. The boy simply thought it was normal, until now. Still, the woman had told the boy to go out and then come back into the room using the door. With a slightly confused look on his face, Kurisu Jr did as he was told. He went right back out through the hole in the wall he had made and then opened the door and walked through it, retaking his position in the center of the room. When the boy had taken his position once more, the woman spoke to him again. This time she welcomed the boy and told him that if he wanted to take the exam he would have to perform the clone and transformation techniques, explain them to her, and then fix the wall he broke. 

"Yes ma'am." the boy said in response to the instructions. He may not have grown up knowing that breaking down walls was bad, but he did have manners and respect. This woman was obviously in a position of authority and much older than the seven year old, so he spoke to her with respect and did as he was told. "I'll start with the transformation technique, if that's ok. It is a simple E rank jutsu used to transform the user into various forms. It isn't powerful enough to turn one's self into a giant creature or anything like that, but it can mimic the appearance of another person, a smaller animal such as a bird, cat or dog, and can even be used to turn the user into an inanimate object. The most difficult part of this jutsu is maintaining focus on the form which they take. Inexperienced ninja can easily be distracted and break the illusion. The hand seals to perform the technique are Dog, Boar, Ram."

The boy performed the seals individually as he said them. When he was finished explaining the technique, he performed the seals once more in order to demonstrate his use of the transformation jutsu. There was a puff of smoke surrounding the boy for a moment, but when it cleared there stood in his place and exact copy of Kurisu Ametsuchi Sr, the boy's father and the Hokage himself. The boy smiled at the woman, maintaining the transformation as he spoke once more. "Next is the clone technique." the boy said, now in his father's voice instead of his own. He had decided to maintain the transformation technique while he explained the clone technique and then performed it. He didn't know why, but he found it rather amusing to imagine three Hokages fixing the broken wall as the woman watched. The thought made the boy smile while he began to explain the second technique. 

"This technique creates an intangible clone of the person that performs it. The clone itself is inconsequential and can only mirror the actions of the user. It is a lesser form of the more advanced shadow clone techniques used to teach academy students the basic arts of ninjutsu, though it can be useful in some situations to confuse an opponent if used by someone with enough ingenuity. The technique can create up to two exact replicas of the user and they may not dissipate if they come into contact with something. The hand seals required to perform this technique are Ram, Snake, Tiger." Once again the boy performed the individual seals as he spoke them to demonstrate that he knew which seals they were. When the explanation was finished, the boy performed the necessary seals for the clone technique one more time in order to use it. There was a small puff of smoke on either side of the boy and when they cleared two exact replicas of the Hokage stood there, one on either side of the boy who was still maintaining the transformation technique. 

In order to illustrate the clones' could move and were in fact mirroring the boy's actions, he took a few steps forward until he was standing exactly one foot in front of the desk. Stopping there, the boy and the two clones pulled out the bottle of Jack Daniels he had swiped from his father's office earlier and took a decently sized gulp out of the bottle before holding it out towards the woman. "Would you like some?" he asked her, completely unaware of how inappropriate his actions were. This was just another thing the boy thought to be normal from growing up in the fashion that he had. After the woman either accepted or refused the drink and said what she needed to say, the boy would turn around and walk over to the wall he had broken. He looked around for a minute and found some spare tools lying on the ground not far from the hole. Someone must have left them there recently. He simply shrugged and picked up what he needed before walking back over to the wall and beginning to fix it. 

He lost track of time as he worked, but it was probably about thirty minutes or so before he had finished and the wall was back to normal. He hadn't really noticed it until then, but keeping the clone and transformation techniques active that entire time had really drained him. He turned around to face the woman once more, smiling as he released the techniques. "So, how did i do?" he asked.

Ashi nodded along with the boy's explanations; they were adequate. Wherever the boy had learned he had learned it well enough. However, the Inuzuka's interest was more on the form he took, the form of the Hokage. No, the woman, despite being an anbu, had not spent much time looking at the Hokage. For a moment she found it easy to forget that the man was once a shinobi of Kumogakure. Then came the shocker. The boy offered her a drink of what Ashi knew to be alcohol. Perhaps were she not at the academy she'd have taken a drink.

"Thanks," Ashi said taking the bottle from the boy before tossing the bottle into a trash can by her side with a distinct sound of broken glass. "What are you, ten? Wait till you're older, kid."

Some time passed, quite a bit of time actually. Normally, Ashi would have gone home by now, but here she was watching a transformed kid repair the academy's wall. It was obvious that there was once a hole there still, but it would do for now. Ashi was pretty sure she'd end up having to go back and work on the wall herself at some point, but for now it was fine.

"You did well enough," Ashi said fishing around in the drawer to her left and pulling out a headband.

"Send my regards to your dad and try not to break anymore walls, kid."

The woman tossed the headband at the boy. Hopefully his father played catch with him. She then leaned back in her chair and waited for the boy to leave before she left herself.

Kids drinking, what is this world coming to?

The boy caught the headband and tied it to his forehead, a proud smile on his face. He managed to skip going through the academy like he planned. He lost his Jack in the process, but he could always get more. "Thank you ma'am. I'll tell dad you said hello." were his last words before he left the academy, through the doors this time.
