Chiyo sat on a tree branch that overhung a path in the forest below, deep in thought. The 17-year old girl sighed, her mind going at a million miles an hour as she recounted all that she had seen since she became a konoha ninja. She had discovered many things, even that she had a cousin, and wasn't the last Kuroki, as she had thought. Chiyo had learned that some of the other ninja could be kind, but most were rather rude to her, thanks to her background with rouge ninja

It was a nice day so Love decided to wander in the forest. If she was lucky she'd find a bunny to take home or a friend to play with. Even if she found neither it'd be a good day because she was outside having fun and enjoying life. Suddenly there was a gust of wind and it knocked quite a few leaves from their trees. Love decided to catch as many as she could before they hit the ground. As she jumped from tree to tree she thought she saw someone and came back around. She plopped down in front of a girl, "Hi there!" She said with a kind smile.

Chiyo fell off the branch with a yell of surprise. She had been too deep in thought to notice anyone, though normally she was quite observant. "Ack!" The young acadamy student landed on the groun in a low crouch, her icy blue eyes wide. Chiyo looked back up at the tree with one hand touching the ground. "Whoah! Maybe you shouldn't sneak up on people like that whe they're trying to think!" Chiyo sucked in a deep breath to calm herself down.

Sneak? "I thought I was pretty direct." Love replied as she walked down the tree. "I didn't mean to scare you. Are you ok?" She asked the girl as she held out her hand to help her up. Judging by the way she landed she didn't seem hurt but Love asked out of courtesy. "Are you a ninja?" She asked curious as to how someone not sporting a ninja headband could have made that fall without a scratch. Hopefully she was, then she and Love could play an awesome game of tag.

"I was thinking, but yes, i'm a ninja. I'm and acadamy student and leader of the Kuroki clan." Chiyo accepted the other girl's hand, and dusted off her white clan jacket with a sigh."I used to be a rougge, but I joined Konoha when my partners abandoned me." The girl stood to her full height, revealing a gothic outfit barely covering everything that needed to be covered. Chiyo had managed to slow her heartbeat, and looked at the other girl with a curious gaze.

"Oh? Thinking about what?" Love gave the girl a lookover once she was standing. Her icey blue eyes drew Love in; If she had an eye color she would want it to be blue or a mixture of blue and green. "I see." Love replied as she viewed the girl's interesting choice of clothing. That's when Love noticed she too was getting a strange look, "Is it the hair or the eyes?" She asked wanting to know which, if not both, was confusing the girl. Most people knew the trademark of the Hyuga but since she wasn't from Konoha she wouldn't. Also her red hair resembled that of the Uzumaki but it's unknown if Love was one of them.

"Neither, i'm just curious by nature. And I was just thinking about everything that's happened since i joined Konoha. Especially since i found out i'm not the last member of my clan, turns out I have a cousin."Chiyo looked at the other girl again, her blue eyes narrowed a bit now. Chiyo was trying to decide whether or not she should simply walk away, since she had had a few bad experiences with other ninja from Konoha. Chiyo kivked at the ground with one foot, her black boots getting dust all over them.

"Oh wow! I couldn't imagine be the last of my clan." Love then thought of all the amazing people she knew that weren't related to her but still felt like family. Losing them would be far too painful. Love looked down to watch the dirt the girl kicked rise and fall. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked tilting her head to the side. "Or I could show you around the village if you want." She asked, sincerely interested in the girl's story.

"I know my way around, I've been here for five mnths or so. And I'd really rather not recall the night my siblings murdered most of my clan. How about we do something else instead?" Chiyo stared intensely at the other girl, hoping that she would agree. Anything but talk about that night.Chiyo wasn't the type to want to recall that type of pain. Chiyo brushed a long strand of black hair out of her face, a slightly desparate look on her face. There was no way she could talk about her clan, simply no way.

"Cool. Uh we could play tag or ninja hide and seek." Love paused to think of what other fun things that could be done with only two people. "Oh I know I could train you if you want." She said oh so proud of the forehead protector, with the leaf symbol carved in it, that she wore. "Whaddya say? Just tell me what you want to learn and I'll teach you if I know it." Love said with a huge smile on her face.
