Task:
Multiple villagers have reported their belongings stolen. Multiple villagers had reported being a target of a thief, mostly at the same time. Your job is to find the thief or thieves and capture them.
Haruki honestly did not have a problem with stealing. Heck, do it for as long as you feel… Provided you give it back in the end, and the sooner, the better. However to keep what you have stolen forever was a problem. A problem named Haruki, who was coming for the thief in the villages. Whoever was doing it had no right to keep what they have taken away from others. At least, those who are innocent And those who dare mess with the ones in the village pay the price of having to meet him. His mission success record was looking really good now. A beautiful 4 – 0 record, and now the people were targeting him specifically for jobs. This one was the one he chose since he did not want to get any special treatment. It paid him the amount that his other jobs paid him in the past, and it had a pretty decent amount of difficulty. It took a little bit of time to carry this out, but he and his clones have seen a pattern. Each night, the clones would watch around a different part of the village, and there were six areas in which he struck. Which was good, since if he lacked one more clone, it might have never been discovered. So they had to wait three more days before his own part of the village is struck by the one who was causing the crime. So it was time to wait. He would swing his legs on top of his own roof, looking to see if the attacker was headed for a nearby house. Once he struck, he will then try to capture the thief. In all honesty, he made it out to be more simple that the task actually was. However, this was nothing new to him anymore, after his two previous fights, how much can one actually do to him? In the end, it was his own blood only, and he was willing to let it spill so that the Village of Sand can have peace, even if the task is as small as this. It was understandable as to why they would let Genin do this, since it would be a waste of time for the Anbu to deal with. Plus, it gave them some training and allowed them to carry out the tasks and become better. They deal with the problems of the real world and have to solve them. Haruki was a lone wolf when it came to that sort of thing. One needed to be independent in order to save themselves from the outside world. Again, he might have given the speech back in the Academy about having your team and protecting them with your own life. However, provided you are forced to be alone, you must be ready. There was a quote that he remembered being told by one of the instructors when he was asking questions like “What if my team doesn’t like me?” The man’s words rung in his ears and still echo inside of his skull to this very day. You need to remember something kid. You are in your own shoes. So tie your own laces. Truer words have never been spoken. And now that he knew this, he was not too reliant on others, and the progress that he made was beyond amazing. While he still had a heavy amount of flaws on him, he also gained a lot of strengths that children of his age or rank genuinely are not supposed to have. Now it was time to carry that out once again. So the plan this time was just to hope that his house was going to be struck. He made a fresh batch of cookies on a plate, ready for the thief to come in. Santa was still real to the Akari. Anyways, he would then jump down quickly and close the door silently, making sure that he target was unable to escape. Once that happens, he would then look over towards the kitchen to see his target eating the cookies. Or maybe stealing them for later, but hopefully it was the former, and not the latter. With that being said, regardless, he would then summon his Shadow clones and his lightning clones. All of their powers combined should be able to hold a man down. The boy was aiming to use the temporary Paralysis Jutsu onto his opponent, forcing him to stay still and unable to move while the real Haruki would use Chidori to make him fall onto the ground and get knocked out. They will bring him over to the Anbu once that is done. How do they know that they can trust him? He did two missions that had them involved, and they ended up being successful. Then there was the fact that he was also pretty decent at doing missions, considering he never failed one in his entire run as Genin. With that, they should be fairly confident in his abilities. Heck, has Sand Village seen someone as dedicated as him? Well, most likely, yes. But in this generation? Well, there was the Kazekage to speak for… Damn it. Well, Haruki was determined to be that dedicated, and to take on any job that he was allowed to. There seems to be a lack of jobs that were willing to take him alone these days though. He was just trying to milk out every single last one of them while they are there. The Rollerblades that he really wants are his and his only. They will provide him a lot of speed if he had anything to say about it. Then again, was that all he wanted? It would be a good idea to try to get his health up, so that the damage that he takes from impacts would be heavily lowered. That was just his opinion though, so it was not really in his place to say anything like that. It was his own body after all, like, sheesh. However, they would be useful to have if they went really fast, he could chase the enemy without having to be sneaky. Oh well, this way was quicker. And the target seems to be approaching the scene as well, onto his house. Perfect. The man would be given a free way in, since he left the front door open for him to “break in”. However, the thief was better than Haruki it seems, since he closed the door behind him before locking it. Damn it, now he was going to have to carry through with Plan B. Plan B was a little more violent, and he was going to have to spend some Ryo on the windows that he was going to break. Plus, he was going to have to go on a chase. Looks like one Clone is going to have to go back to where the Anbu are. It was going to be a Shadow clone, since he did not want to spend too much Chakra. Placing up the hand sign for the Shadow Clone, it would drop down before nodding one time, then charging towards the target area. Looks like he will have to do the same thing to the thief that he did to the prankster. It was a forced summon that will end up getting him arrested. However, for the clone to make it to the area where the Anbu were, he needed time, and so he was going to have to let the Thief walk around for a little bit…
Screw that, Haruki felt that his clone would make it. So he would drop down from the roof of his house. Fortunately, Nea was not there to take him down from causing the damage. She was on a little business trip to help them with gaining a bit more Ryo. They were probably going to have a huge place to live in at this rate. All right, the next step, look through the window to see if the cookies worked. The thief looked at it, but then looked away and proceeded to advance through the house. Damn it! How dare he not eat them!? Haruki spent a good about of time with those! Just for that, he would summon all the clones before having them surround his house before the real Haruki would kick through the glass, shattering it. The thief was alerted, trying to make a great escape. However, every window that he was going through, he would see the Genin there. Perfect! By being afraid and constantly turning back, the Akari was able to locate him by listening to the footsteps on the ground. It placed a smile on his face when he saw the result of this, finding that his room had been ransacked. Oh man, Haruki worked so hard to keeping it clean, and this man wanted to ruin that? Unfortunately, there was no going back when one did that to his room, and now the thief had an angered Akari on his hands. That was my room you know… And you decided to mess it up. You have no idea how hard I worked on it… And now you want to ruin it even more as well as take things? The boy would ask, only to receive a knife to the throat… Seemingly. He was prepared for the retaliation, and the knife would end up cutting into a wooden log as he would use substitution. The Akari appeared from behind the enemy, forming the hand signs needed to bring out Chidori. Lightning was sparking out from his right palm now as the ninjutsu technique have been triggered. I was willing to let you off with maybe a little bit of a beating… He wasn’t actually. But oh well. But now… Now you get a Chidori! Charging at the highest of speeds, he would look towards his opponent and slam the palm of lightning inside of the back of his opponent, causing him to fall over after a heavy amount of electricity was injected into the nervous system of the thief. The clones would jump in and start clapping when they saw the sight. They did not have to get involved, it was less Chakra for him to spend in the end. All right, there was something more that he needed to do in order to get the mission done. The boy would kneel down onto the grounded man who was stealing things and place a mark on the back of his neck, placing a little dot mark on his body like a tattoo. Once that occurred, he would then look over towards the other clones, in which they would nod their heads, two of them leaving the scene so that they were able to tell the one over at the Anbu base to summon the body of the one that they had just taken out. Half of the Ryo was going to be sent towards the windows, but the rest goes towards the rollerblades. The other clones would be guarding him in case there were some friends of the enemy that were trying to get into the fight as well. While Haruki had doubts that it would be the case, it was better than being alone, and it was a good enough excuse to have the other two around him. It was much too quiet, and talking to the clones was not the best idea, since the conversation would only go in circles. In the end, the body of the man would be taken care of, suddenly disappearing. And a few minutes later, the clones would return back with a bag of loot, showing him that the job had been ready. They had a few more left to do before going back to the learning of skills that he had yet to develop. Time to get out of here now though, before he would have Nea return to a broken window. That was going to kill him to see her like that.
