Thoughtless (P/Ren)

He hated the academy! Why? Simple, he hated people! He hardly had any friends except a select few. Probably because he had a very demented personality and of course the voices in his head made keeping any real friends at bay.
He listened to the trainer go on and on as he simply drew pictures of different weapons and how to kill someone with them. 
He crumbled up the pics and let his water element soak the papers and form perfect water balls before tossing them into a nearby trash can. What was the point of academy again? He had someone training him already! As usual his parents didn't think being trained outside the academy was enough. He sighed as he laid his head down to take a nap. His long black dreadlocked hair hung over the edge of the table as he laid his head down. Quite a non productive day thus far!

Ren strode up the chiselled steps of the academy, a look of determination on his face as he walked through the double doors that provided entry to the building. A young woman wearing a business like garb looked up from her seat in the reception area, Undoubtedly distracted from her menial paperwork by the entry of someone well older than the students she saw coming through the door on a day to day basis. Ren Ignored her, striding past her desk and into... "Ahm Excuse me miss, but you'r a little late to be enrolling in the academy, applications closed last week." Ren's back stiffened as he slowly turned to the woman, his eyes narrowed as he looked at her trying in vein to control his anger. "Now you listen Here..." Ren began before thinking to himself. 'I have neither the time or the energy for this' Sighing Ren lifted up his hand to the woman, who would suddenly find herself lost within a jungle, and then Ren turned and continued to walk down the hallway and into the  office of the headmaster.

A few minutes later Ren would leave the head masters office a now far happier look on his face, Ren strode past the body of the woman who had tried to stop him before, still standing rooted to the ground in the position he left her. Ren continued through into the school proper before picking a class room at random. Opening the door to the room Ren stepped inside, just in time for a ball of water soaked paper to come flying towards him; catching the ball and a handful of others in his hand without even looking in their direction Ren would stride forward to the instructor of the class. Looking the old man in the eye Ren's voice would take on a darker tone once again as he said to the man" Take a hike, I'll be taking over this class for the rest of the day and if you've got any problems with it you can take them up with the headmaster" Before turning to the class and ignoring the man's presence. To ren's absolute pleasure the man stuttered for naught but a few seconds before collecting his things and rushing out the door.

Ren analyzed the class for a second before speaking again, his voice taking on a stern but friendly tone as he sunk into his self appointed roll as teacher for the class. "Now then, Class 31-A, I will be your teacher for the rest of the day, You can all call me Ren. Lets start with something simple. How many of you can perform a Jutsu, any jutsu?" Ren would say before waiting for someone in the class to speak up.

He tilts his head up slightly looking at this person who entered the room. He can see him through the parted dreads hanging from his head. Had he really caught his waterballs? Wow, maybe this person is actually going to teach them something. Or so he hoped. Now leaning on his hand making a halfway attempt at participating just to see if this instructor meant business, he decided to participate in class! Altar had shown him how to do the transformation jutsu, so he would do this one to show he was listening to the instructor. He made the proper hand sign and used the jutsu to transform into an octopus, he held it for a second then released it! Octopus was rather fitting considering he was a Hozuki, which meant his element was water, and well, he probably looked like a octopus, the way he was slumped over on the desk. Maybe he should have raised his hand instead of making a spectacle of himself....why did he just do this? Oh well. Too late to take it back now! Hopefully he wasn't in trouble on his first day of class!

Standing in front of the class room Ren would continue to analyze the students and how they reacted to his presence, a pair in the corner were snickering at a sheet of paper, clearly not paying attention and if Ren's experience with children was anything to go by the paper would no doubt hold a poorly drawn picture of some authority figure. Ren filed away that information to deal with in a moment and memorised the two individuals faces before continuing his survey, a trio of students in the middle of the front row had all performed a very poorly executed clone technique, one of them, an arrogant looking boy who was wearing expensive clothes and no doubt came from a rich family, had performed the technique slightly better than his peers and was smirking about it. 'Over confidence will be your downfall, theres no doubt about that' Ren thought to himself. The rest of the students were all sitting around admiring the triage who had performed the clone technique. Ren Sighed internally, 'I guess the academy is doing even worse of a job than I had thought, wait... Is that... An... octopus???" Ren did a double take as he looked at an octopuss sitting in the corner of the classroom before turning back into a student, Ren smiled despite himself. Then turning to the boy who clearly thought himself the king of the class he began walking forward.

"Well the, I'm glad to see that at least not everyone in this class is incompetent." The boy began to smirk even more at ren's words, thinking they were directed to him. As Ren began to stride forward he flicked each of the balls of paper out of his hand with the full force of his training. the first two hitting the two boys, slacking in the corner, on the forehead whilst a third one struck the arrogant child in the back of his head whilst he was still smirking to his friends. Then lifting his arm to point, without even looking at the child who had turned into an octopus Ren called out "You. Up the front." Narrowing his eyes at the child Ren begrudgingly spoke again, "and you too."

The instructor HAD seen him and even pointed at him! This made him nervous! Wait...he needed to stay calm or else the voices….too late….
"You should have remained quiet and just listened, look what you did!”
“Your worthless, you are a lousy excuse of a Hozuki!”
“You are in so much trouble!”
He shook his head as he stood up and headed to the stairs. He used his hydrification technique to trickle down the stairs like a waterfall and as the puddle came together at the bottom of the stairs it formed back into a human. Miz was shy and no doubt this really made him nervous, but he had to get over this, especially if he intended to be a shinobi of the village. No he wasn’t trying to show off, he just felt more comfortable in puddle form! It got him away from people. He just stared at the instructor and then realized maybe he should speak or say something!
“Yes.” Was all he could get out to say. “...Sir.”He quickly added realizing saying yes and giving him that look was probably not a smart thing to do. He was trying to be polite and respectful!

The snarky kid sitting in the front row stood up, and cockily began striding down to the front of the class. 'God I want to punch him' Ren thought to himself before taking a moment to calm down. Closing his eyes Ren took a deep breath and... 'Is that water?' Ren's eyes snapped open as he looked at the octopus boy... or at least where the octopus boy was last. looking at the steps leading down from the back of the room to the front of the class was a puddle of water flowing down the steps leaving a small trail of water behind it. 'What the hell is that?' Ren thought to himself looking slightly confused at the puddle until it reached the bottom of the stairs and reformed into a human. Ren's face took on a look of genuine surprise before slowly clapping his hands together. "that, was perhaps the second most impressive thing I've seen this week." Turning to the rest of the class "That right there is a ninja, He didn't show off or gloat about his abilities unduly" Ren began; glancing down at the other boy who was blushing, clearly embarrassed and aware that it was him that Ren was referring too. "Now what are your names boy's" Ren would ask, before waiting patiently for a reply from the two boys.

Ren didn't have to wait long, despite being chastised merely a moment ago the snarky child perked up almost immediately. "Miruki Sir! I'm the first son of..." the child rambled on about his family and past but Ren wasn't interested, he tuned him out and turned to the quieter of the two kid's "and your name?" Ren asked looking the boy in the eye.

Once Ren had the two boy's names Ren would stroll up and take a seat in the front row; taking the place of one of the boys. "Right well you two, hop too, You've shown me one technique each; if you show me the others technique and the two off you will graduate right here and now" Ren said before leaning back in the chair and placing his feet on the table.

Ren sat there in the chair watching the two boys at the front of the class 'Damn I could really go for some popcorn right about now' Ren thought to himself as the two boys stood there. The water boy, he'd called himself Miz put his hands together and performed the Clone technique flawlessly before the other boy had even begun to do anything, Ren smiled at the boy and gave him a quick nod before he turned and focussed his attention on the other boy. Ren wasn't hoping the boy would fail per se, but Ren wouldn't deny that the cocky kid being put in his place would certainly give Ren a short chuckle. The boy quite humorously tried to copy Miz's technique, but Ren could already see that it was not going to go well for him, the boy had missed the last hand seal and his chakra was all over the place.

A moment later there was a puff of smoke, and a disfigured monstrosity was standing in the room, its hulking form barely recognisable as humanoid, fortunately in a moment it was gone, the rouge chakra exploding through the room in a burst of air. Ren sighed for a moment before slowly standing up and taking an intimidating pose. Ren's voice reverberated through the room as he spoke "Miz Hozuki!" Ren called out, waiting for an affirmative for a moment before continuing. "Miz Hozuki, you have demonstrated the skills required of an academy graduate. Henceforth you shall carry the rank of Genin." With those words Ren would toss his Kirigakure Head guard to the boy. "as for the rest of you, I suggest you start practicing, I expect each of you to be able to perform at least one of those two techniques by the end of the week!" With those words Ren would stride towards the door, Gesturing for Miz to follow him; Assuming the boy did Ren would wait until the two of them were outside before handing him a slip of paper. "Your a Genin now but your always welcome in my academy. I'll be holding advanced classes in this room every evening, feel free to drop in when you have time." Ren would say before ruffling the boy's hair and heading to his new office.

Once in the office Ren would let out a deep sigh of relief, The previous headmaster... or what remained of him had vacated the premises as ren had ordered. Ren sat down in the large leather backed chair and allowed himself to relax for a moment, It had been a risky move but it seemed like it had payed off, Kiri needed more soldiers and this was the way to do it. Pulling out his journal Ren began to allow himself some time to relax while he studied his seals he was still having problems with some of the more advanced techniques but he was starting to get some ideas for his own ways of implementing some of the things he had learned; still it was far too early for him to be getting to excited. Ren took a moment to recollect himself before turning the page to a description of the Telepathy seal. 'So we meet once again, you and I' He thought to himself before beginning to study the text.

A few hours later Ren would stand up from his chair, an exclamation of wordless excitement leaping from his lips as he realised something he had been missing all this time. "Yes, Yes of course, If I altar the central synapse to be based off of the DNA sample... Ren threw his hands together in excitement as he began to perform the technique, hopefully for the last time. Chakra flowed into Ren's hand as he placed it upon his leg, after a brief flash Ren looked at a fully formed seal sitting there. 'It worked... well all most, It still needs some work, but this is a good step forward."

Miz was not to worried, he figured he had passed, but was however surprised at the praise he had received.  He smirked at the snotty kid and said bye to him. The kid flipped him off and Miz was ever so kind enough to reciprocate the gesture!
He looked at Ren as he spoke to him. An invite to an advanced class? Hell yeah! Hw smiled and nodded his head. "Thank you very much, I will attend." He said as they parted ways. He liked this guy and he was pretty good at teaching.
