The time has finally come
Sun Aug 21, 2016 1:03 am
Haru had been spending some time in Sunagakure no Sato, getting to meet some of the people native to the area along with a few that were from other places but found a home in Suna. The village had by all accounts appeared to be a great village thriving under a peaceful rule; however, even with what Haru had heard from some of the people of the village about the Kazekage he needed to see for himself. A Kage that doesn't kill and doesn't allowing his ninja to kill? It seemed rather preposterous that a Kage could truly be like that after the ones Haru had met, especially with the Kazekage being Viper Uchiha's brother.
Haru arrived at the Kazekage office, going through all the technical procedures required to go up and visit with the Kazekage Koroshi, showing the enveloped letters from the Hokage and allowing the Suna guards do a check to make sure nothing was afoul with the envelops while also presenting his identity and purpose along with informing them of the other Konoha ninja that had come along. Assuming all was well and if granted then Haru would make his way to the office of the Kazekage, should the door be closed he'd knock first unless of course he was escorted all the way in. By the end of this meeting they'd hopefully be able to move forward with the Jounin Exams and deal with a missing ninja that was possibly innocent or at least not bad enough to warrant any real punishment though those were decisions for the Hokage to make once Salzem was brought back to Konoha.

Upon Haru's arrive he is met with a very nice young women who even greets him by his name, with the time he has spent within Sune it has been more than enough time to cycle through the information and names that they gave at the gate upon entering the village. This women's name is Suki, should it be allowed the two would share some pleasant small talk while she presses a few funinjutsu seals on the desk in front of her, informing the guards up front of his arrive, after this is done which would only be a few moments they would finish they chat with a nice good bye.
Should Haru Wish he would continue up the stairs where he was told the office was at, upon getting there the two guards would also greet him by his name, giving a slight bow to show kindness and respect between villages before opening the door for him, allowing him to walk into the Kazekage office where Koroshi sits on his desk with a bright smile. His outfit is the same as his casual one, being a black leather jacket and judo pants, despite the heat this has always been the most comfortable thing to wear, no matter the weather. Upon his head is the hat of the Kazekage, having the symbol of Sune on the center piece gem on the front of it.
"Why hello there Haru, I thought I would be seeing you rather soon, I am glad you took some time to rest before going forward with business, I know it is quiet the walk to get here, even for us Shinobi" Koroshi says with a slight Chuckle, wanting to clear the air of any tension. As he speaks he stands up from his desk gesturing him to come in side before reaching out his right hand for a hand shake

Hesitation hit Haru, a feeling that he was going to meet a Kage and walk away with knowledge of another murderous Kage, though there was a chance that the things he had been hearing were true so he went through the process and was finally introduced to the Kazekage, Koroshi Uchiha.
"Yeah, the village is a very nice and peaceful place. I've got a couple letters for you." he was straight to the point, his personal questions about Koroshi could wait until business was over.
Removing two letters from inside of his jacket he'd hand them over to Koroshi. "These are from the Hokage Kurisu."
If read the first letter would say,
The second letter read,
Haru would simply wait for Koroshi's response.

"To Koroshi Uchiha, the Third Kazekaze.
I'm sending this letter with a squad of my ninja to see how you'd feel about hosting the second part of the Jounin Exams and using Sunagakure no Sato as a proving grounds. I've heard its a hot and dangerous area outside of the village and so I feel we could test both of our ninja before coming to Konohagakure no Sato for the final part. If that's fine I'll have most of my ninja stay and send the rest competing while having Haru Glory stay to help with things and assist your village in any way. Feel free to use him on missions if you like, he probably needs some excitement.
Your Brother, the Second Raikage and Seventh Hokage Kurisu Ametsuchi."
The second letter read,
"Read the first letter. Also have Haru here to deal with Salzem, shouldn't be problems as I'm taking your word for the most part."
Haru would simply wait for Koroshi's response.

Seeing Haru hand him toward letters he would reach forward taking both of them, beginning to read as he replies to Haru's statement about the village "Thank you, and yes I am glad that you were able to stop by, the people here love meeting new people, given how far in the desert we are" Koroshi says with a slight chuckle as he goes through the letters, reading how the second part of the Jounin exams will be held here Koroshi smiles, it would make for more of a challenging test for the teams survivability, however it does put Suna at more of advantage, given that they live here. Once he gets tot he part about Haru and wanting some excitement makes Koroshi happy, he will be sure to give him some stuff to keep him busy, maybe even offering a spar against him, it may help given how stiff and professional he is acting.
Next would come the second, reading that Kurisu has made up his mind up Salzem, and that he will be able to join the Leaf village after all, hearing this Koroshi is over joyed. "Perfect, it seems that you will be staying here in Suna for the Jounin exams, you were also given permission to take any missions here in Suna should you choice to accept."
As Koroshi says this he begins to write a letter to Salzem, informing him of what is going on, and that the Leaf is willing to take him back peacefully, and that he can join the village as a shinobi again after having a conversation with the Hokage. Koroshi knowing that the Leaf will want to double check information, and wanting to possible interagate him more. "Haru if it is alright with you I will be sending Salzem to the gates to be taken back to the Leaf village, is that alright with you?" Koroshi says with a smile as he looks up at Haru, waiting to put where to meet. Once given a location Koroshi would write it down, folding the paper into one of the letters within a drawer on his desk. After he would whistle, a few moments later a Hawk would fly through the window, retrieving the letter that has "Dear Salzem" written on it. After taking the letter the bird would fly off to deliver it

He give a nod to the Kazekage at first. Haru was still trying to get a feel for the man and determine if he was like the rest. He was somewhat surprised at hearing he'd be able to do missions for Suna, though it just meant he'd be killing for another village.
Finally came the issue with Salzem. "Yeah that works, I'll have one of our ninja meet him at the gates. I do have to ask though, why didn't you kill him? He's a missing ninja and in your village, Kages kill for less." it might have been slightly bold to ask a Kage such a question, but if Koroshi was different from the others then this was needed and wouldn't end badly.

Koroshi would nod upon hearing that one of the Leaf shinobi would meet Salzem at the gates to be taken back, however when Haru begins to ask him why he didn't kill Salzem, Koroshi would look at him "Killing only breeds hatred and more death, there is always another way. Like with Salzem, he did not want to live the life of a missing ninja, he was merely seeking to find the man that had wronged him. He meant no harm to anyone of the Leaf or the Sand for that matter. After hearing his words, testing him and doing backgrounds checks I found that he was innocent, and through communication we are returning him back home" Koroshi says with a smile as he begins to think how happy Salzem will be to see all of his old friends and family once more, he is sure that they have much to talk about.

Well that was unexpected as far as answers go, a Kage that views killing as not needed to the point of claiming there is always another way. The answer hit Haru hard and confused him some. "Can those who protect and those that oversee a village of innocent lives truly avoid ever taking a life?" while he had no intention of arguing with a Kage it seemed reasonable to question if those such as ANBU and Kages could travel down a path where killing doesn't happen. Was he justified in the very few times where he'd killed the enemy on missions? It always seemed as though taking out a dangerous and threatening foe went a long way towards keeping innocent bystanders alive, but if there was always another way then perhaps even that wasn't needed.

Hearing Haru's question Koroshi thinks for a moment, he has wondered the same thing many times, and he has even questioned some of his actions for not killing, and it leading to even more problems. However Koroshi answer matches what is truly within his heart "Up until this point I have not had to kill one person to keep the peace of this fine village. However I understand that it may not be so easy for others, through out my life I have put my main focus into Taijutsu, and medical ninjutsu, with these two it allows me to non lethally combat people, and should anyone get hurt during our fighting I have the power to heal them. With my skill set I have no need or want to kill anyone because I can solve things in a different way, so can a lot of other should they take the extra time to learn things about their craft" Koroshi says with a smile, he knows that he is speaking to an Anbu member from the memories he has gotten from his brother, he knows also that Echo's chakra is actually placed within the blade as he had a hand in its creation. However he is not going to tell an Anbu, someone that was put through the hellish training that Echo was that they are wrong, or bad for trying, he is simply just trying to open non killing as an option to him to maybe make the world a better place

To be stupid or not? He wasn't technically on ANBU duties at the moment and from what he'd heard from Koroshi he felt as though the metaphorical leash was longer, so much of what he'd seen from other Kages made he want some proof even if the possible consequences could result in his death or being imprisoned, the spark for war; however, he didn't expect any of that to happen given the words Koroshi seemed to follow unless it was all a lie. Never know until you try. "I'd like to test something, so I apologize ahead of time."
In one quick motion he unleashed Decaforce from its holder on his back and slammed the blade down towards the head of Koroshi, of course he had no intention of following through, if for some reason Koroshi didn't react then he'd stop anyways. He anticipated that Koroshi would block or dodge and at that point Haru wouldn't continue, it was a one strike test to gauge the Kazekage's anger and reactions to see if the previous words held any meaning.

Hearing Haru's words Koroshi questions what he is about to it, or say, he knows that he has been trained by the anbu so Koroshi thought process must be far different from how he was thought, perhaps he is going to ask him different deep questions to see if he can find a darker side? Koroshi eagerly awaits to see what the high ranking shinobi would do, when seeing a very quick and swift moment of him drawing his massive blade Koroshi simply watches his, smile still on his face, his body remaining still as though nothing is happening as the blade draws ever closer to his head. Now that it is unsheathes Koroshi can feel his brother's chakra's far easier, giving him a sense of peace to sense them without a demon cloaking in like the nine tails. "Huh so that is what Echo mention he was working on, he sure did a very good job crafting the seals, as well as picking someone to wield it" Koroshi says as he admires the blade that is inches away from his head
