Just Business

Walking through the streets of Konoha with her fox, the girl wasn’t looking for anything in particular. Just checking out what the village had to offer. Which wasn’t very much from Kirino’s perspective, sure there were always missions to be done, but no room to rank up. Perhaps it was time to find something new get a hobby maybe, spend a little money. Walking around with her coin purse concealed within her kimono she would stop at merchant stands and look for anything she would buy.

Nothing interested her though and even though some of them would see what she was looking at and start a conversation in the hopes of persuading her to buy something she didn’t really want. It would be to no avail though as she would say a few words about not wanting to buy the item and move on her way. Foxxy was more interested in swatting things with its paws that were hanging from the stalls and stands. As the girl moved the fox would move too, no longer requiring a leash to keep the creature from running off.


Kirino would continue to move while thinking of ways to improve her form. ”I need to finish my work on the seven heaven’s breathing method.” I can only take one breath so far out of the three. Seeing as she had little else to do, maybe it was worth a trip to the training grounds. With that thought the Kaguya would begin her walk towards the training ground gates.

Today, would mark the 4th day of Ganki being within the walls of the Hidden Leaf village. He still has yet to fully understand the people of the Leaf, seeing how he only held a few conversations with the locals. Nevertheless, Ganki did manage to enjoy some of the many fun activities, like the infamous hot spring baths of Konoha. Although, Ganki was not from the village, everyone has at least heard about the hot springs of Konoha. Its pure waters and steams were known to cleanse and soothe the body not only physically, but mentally as well. Fortunately for Ganki, well, with men of his caliber and wealth, he got a bit more of a happy ending than most, during his visit.

Ganki is finally seen outside, he walks through the exit of the infamous Hot Spring Spa of Konoha. His new wooden sandals clapped against the ground every step of the way. However, for a pair of Special edition black Geta wooden sandals for only 100 ryo, was a deal he couldn't pass up on. The girls who worked there waved towards Ganki as he left, the other men hated on just about everything Ganki was, and forever will be. However, they did love the tip. Ganki stops short, now five feet from the exit. The crowd of people walked passed him, Ganki already figured out that this place had a lot of citizens. The sun that hung above him in the sky, beamed down on him, revealing the newly acquired short sleeve Silk red Kimono. The Kimono had special detailing that surrounded the folds, sleeves and collar. Over his kimono, he wore a white long sleeve silk jacket. His many tattoos were also revealed as well, even his chest, since he didn't wear a shirt underneath the Kimono.

Ganki just couldn't get over how comfortable the Kimono was, it was like he was being hugged by a hundred women, naked. He would have took more of them, if the bag he held in his right hand wasn't full already. If only Ganki could get a hold of boxers that were made of silk. Ganki would have a smile as bright as the sun 24/7 if he had a pair. He adjusts the white sash he wore around his waist, his black dress pants he wore underneath made him look as if he had a pot belly, Ganki laughs a bit. If this was how the citizens of the Hidden Leaf dress, oh well...

Moving on from his pleasure time, it was time to get down to work. Ganki needed to sell more of his wares, and he had 9000 more ryo to make. Or, this visit would be considered a failure. The only problem that stood in his way, was the fact that he simply did not know where he was. He would have rented a carriage, like he always does, but the village here was simply stupid packed with people in the streets.

Standing still, Ganki turns slightly to his right, so that he could see the girls once more, His somewhat brown hair made a modal like effect, which immediately cast a spell of the employees. Their eyes comically burst into hearts, beating hearts of love. Yeah, Ganki was gonna have to make a second appointment. "Hey um, do you know how to get to Market from here?", he asked in his northern accent, finishing off with an innocent smile. "Sure, just head left, and keep going, you will walk right into the Okinaga District, then make another left at the entrance and you will end up there. But, don't go to far, otherwise you will head into the Uchiha District, and they don't like outsiders like yourself too much."

"Alright, Thanks again, Ill make sure to come back, brightstar", he walks off. Brightstar is common Cloud village slang for calling someone beautiful.(Wanted to add some of my own NRPG Lore lol)

The lady squints her eyes, her mind was filled with sinister like thoughts, "Yeah you better come back, you cute little-"

"What was that?" Ganki stopped, and turned back.

"Oh nothing, nothing. Um... have... a splendid day!!", she sticks up both her thumbs, wishing him the best.

Moments later, he arrives at the market district. It was game time, he searches any passing shinobi with a leaf handband, but he would not find any. Perhaps the market section wasn't a good idea after all. The oncoming traffic was ridiculous, this was the exact reason why Ganki didn't rent a carriage. But Ganki was getting tired of walking around. He ponders a moment, till he cam up with an idea. Perhaps Ganki could find some sort of shinobi building, or station, some highly shinobi concentrated area. Ganki then walked up to a random Vender, and as it so happens a some what tall, white haired girl stood next to him as he asked the vender a question.

"Hello, I'm Ganki Sakura. Could you point me to um, um how should I put it.., well, to where most shinobi hang out. Jounins, Chuunins, Genins, the rank doesn't matter. You see, I sell seals and weapons...", after he finishes, he looks down towards... a fox? Ganki didn't get to see much foxes up in the north.

”Why hello, I am Kirino Kaguya.” She would say politely with a slight smile. Another random vendor trying to sell his wares, I guess. The girl was about to point him in the direction of a known shinobi hang out spot, but something he said caught her attention. Seals? As in fuinjutsu or the made-up kind that ward off evil spirits and chase away bad luck. Perhaps it was worth asking, he didn’t seem like the other vendors in the area. This guy seemed wealthy it wasn’t based on looks it was just a feeling. One Kirino had grown accustomed to while living with her father and mother. The wealthy carried themselves a certain way that was different from the poor. Kirino had learned the look of the wealthy early growing up in a mansion.


”Well I am indeed looking for weapons, but I am more interested in the seals you were talking about.” She would pause, seeming too eager would likely raise the price on whatever this guy wanted to sell. Of course, she had the money to pay. The way to stay rich though was to give out as little money as possible. Why else would the villages wealthiest genin rent an average apartment. The girl would wait and let Ganki do the talking perhaps he would explain some of his seals without making the girl ask.

It seems that our young capitalist had found the second buyer, things were starting to look good Ganki. he looks up towards the female next to him, taking note of her Kimono first, her very revealing Kimono. He stays mindful of the fox. Ganki smirked a bit, only to catch himself afterwards. Ganki looked around to see if anyone else caught on, to what he saw. His grin sunk a bit, as he scanned the area. His company was a bit, too young. Ganki had been around many types of girls all his life. His senses were attuned to such a level, that he could tell a person's age with very good accuracy. Ganki, now noticing how young his interested buyer was, he pumps the break. Kimonos..., It was what they wore in the leaf, he might as well get used to it. Such thin clothes, Ganki was not used to them. Ganki was a man of the north, a person used to clothing himself in thick attires.

He waves his right hand towards the girl, "Nice to meet you, Kirino, I'm Ganki Sakura. ", his snail now gentle. Afterward, he places both his hands behind his back, listening to her words. Ganki wanted to meet some shinobi, but Ganki wasn't about to pass up a buyer now. "Yeah, thats good. You've come to the right person, I'm the current CEO of Sakura Corp. I'm sure you've heard of it" he finished by letting his eyes wander off a bit, with an innocent smile. It was as if he was waited to be hit with ego inflating praise.

Praised or not, he would continue.

"Well, I sell these certain...Power Seals, that augment the body. With it, you'll be able to run faster, jump higher, crank out jutsu with most fatiguing so easy, et cetera et cetera. Matter of fact, I sold one to a Leaf villager here not to long ago, I'm pretty sure he was satisfied with his purchase."

After, his monologue, Ganki left a pause for Kirino speak.

Oh, a pervert great. Kirino caught some of the glances he was giving while looking over her appearance. He seemed to quickly stop though, as if something turned him off. Saw, something he didn’t like I’m guessing. His smile isn’t as wide as when he was checking me out.


Kirino would wave back as the man said his name. ”A pleasure to meet you, we don’t get many good looking ones like you around here.” She would say adding in a smile. Hmm, Sakura corp… Never really heard of it. Must be big if they have a CEO. ”I’ve never heard of Sakura corp, excuse me though I’m not from the village just from the borders. I’ve only moved here recently.” Hopefully, Ganki wouldn’t dig it wasn’t something she was interested in talking about. Right now she just wanted information on the seals the man as selling.


Ganki got to that right away which made Kirino like him even more. A person who gets straight to the point, I like it. ”You are direct, I like direct. So, these can augment many facets of a person’s abilities at once? Are there seals that enhance different abilities or is it like a one size fits all?”

"... Really?"

Never heard of Sakura Corp? It was a first for Ganki Sakura, to meet a person who never heard of his prestigious company. It was very usual, mostly everywhere our young capitalist had traveled, he was always greeted first, his name known by all due to his company. Then again, Ganki brushed over it quickly, Kirino's age was probably one of the main reasons.

Sakura Corp is more than just a weapon manufacturing company, in fact when it was founded by Ganki's early ancestors, the Sakura family was known for owning mining factories that mined ore and minerals from the very mountains of kumogakure which they the Sakuras themselves lived on. The ore mined were used by almost every known village on the map, ore from the mountains of the clouds were known to be of high quality.

Ganki nodded with a smile towards Kirino after she admired his directivness. Now normally after when a female complemented Ganki, he would snap back with a clever flirty snap, however, this just wasn't the case. He bits his bottom lip, holding his comment and smile. He nods while tilting his head to the side slightly.

"Damn Kimonos", he said mentally.

"Oh! My seals can empower a user in many was", Ganki formed brought both his hands foward, his form facing Kirino. He forms the seal of confrontation with his right hand, while his left hand pulled back the white sleeve, revealing his many tattoos on his arm, including a storage seal. He activates it, releasing it, allows a deck of cards to appear in his right hand. " Each seal can augment two aspects of he body at once, for example...", he Clicks his tongue as he shuffle the deck with both his hands, his skill with his hands were..., mesmerizing. After shuffling, he pulls a card from the deck, revealing a card which had the Curse Seal of Earth Image on it. "This one is perhaps my favorite one, this seal can augment the user's physical body and chakra potency. I've seen people tank many barrages of jutsu, and still managed to stay on their feet. Very ideal for people who like to get up close and personal with their enemies", he draw another card from the deck after placing the one he had before back into it, "I sold this one not long ago, The Sakon seal augments not only the user's chakra, but also the user's chakra reserves too, which allows you to crank out a heck of a lot of jutsu without tiring yourself out, very useful. But yeah, they can augment many different types of traits."

"Tell you what, why don't you tell me which attributes you would any to improve? For example, your physical body, or you physical strength?. After that, we can go from there, ok Kirino?"

They can Improve someone in many ways and it seems there are a lot of them. Kirino would listen intently as Ganki spoke. The seals were more than she had initially expected. It can improve more than one thing. Looking over the man’s arm which revealed many tattoos. One of which a deck of cards was produced from. The genin watched as he shuffled the cards with finesse.

The first card had an earth seal. So, this one toughens your body and increases your chakra. I could resist a lot of attacks with that. The second was a seal she didn’t recognize. More jutsu is always nice, but as a taijutsu user and future weapons specialist I need to be fast. I need to kill the enemy before they even get a chance to use a jutsu, let alone several.



Thinking briefly she came to a decision. ”Is there a seal that can increase strength and speed. I like to hit fast and hit hard. I like defense, but it is usually secondary for me.” She would pause for a moment. “How much will it cost, I’m not exactly rich.” It was a lie, but Kirino was a hard person to read. She came off kind, while secretly plotting your murder in the back of her mind. Well not Ganki’s he hadn’t done anything yet. But, she had already formed a running hit list if she ever decided the village was weak. Of course, the list was only in her head there was nothing worse than a paper trail.

Ganki takes note of how Kirino talks about her wanting to hit hard and fast, implying that she gets into fights and possibly has some shinobi background.

Ganki nods softly toward his customer, he had just the thing. He places the card back into the deck, only to shuffle it once more. His mastery of cards was aquired back when he as growing up in the cloud village. Almost every night he could remember, the maid of the Sakura estate would play cards late at night, for hours. As a boy, every other night or so, he would venture down to the wine cellar, where the many house maids woould play. At first, he would act as the rookie dealer, who didn't even know how to play blackjack. However, as time passed, he became a professional at dealing, and gambling. His poker face wasn't too bad either.

After his last shuffle, he comes to a stop, flipping the deck over and searching through the cards face up, only to pull out the Kidomaru, he holds it up to Kirino's face. "Then this is the one you want, but let me warn you, I'd take it easy at first with this seal", he says this due to Kirino's age. He didn't want her to hurt herself only to try and come after Ganki with some BS lawsuit or something. Besides, a Ganki was safe from all that, since he did in fact warn her.

After a pause, "Right, as for the price, I can set you up with a seal, for 3000 Ryo flat", Ganki takes a moment, and tries to slide in an extra offer, "Also, I have these special Contacts for sale as well. They allow you to see in infrared and grant night vision too. I know, I know, you don't have that much money to spare darling, but if you could just take a moment and think about, they really can come in hand. Like...

Imagine you getting into a fight with one enemy, now of course you are winning, hell, your using your all powerful Kidomaru seal you bought from Sakura Corp, however, all of the sudden, bam! Your blindsided by two other fighters, who used a smoke bomb, your vision is impaired, you can't see anything!!" Ganki tells the situation with many expression while waving his hands around full of cards. He figured for he sells the story, he could sell the product as well. "So what do you do?" Ganki de summons the cards away, and reaches into his kimono pocket and takes out a small special plastic white case, which contacts the very contacts he was trying to sell. "You use these bad boys, that's what!! Now you turn them on, Kirino can see!! And at the same time turns the table on her attackers, and takes them down..., hard and fast. And it can all be yours for the low low price of 1500 Ryo. So in total, you can have the power seal, and the contacts for 4500 Ryo"

He stops there, looks toward the white haired girl with a charming smile with devilish intent for money makin.

The girl moved her face back slightly, as a card was held up to it. Take it easy with the seal? ”How does the seal work, do I just have to think about it or is there another method?” Of, course she was going to buy the seal even if their was an odd method to how it was used.

Taking the card from his hand, she would inspect it. ”Three-thousand ryo, hmm not cheap as I’d hoped. But it sounds worth it, deal.” She would hand him the card back as she accepted his offer.

Kirino would hear our Ganki’s sales pitch it sounded interesting. Lenses that would allow you to see an incoming attack through a smoke bomb, sounded like they would be useful. I like how confident he is in his product, maybe I should do a little research on Sakura corp. See what else they have in stock. ”I like the way you do business, deal I will take the seal and lenses for 4500.”


Once, the trade was agreed upon she would take out a sack of money from her kimono. Most of the ryo pieces within were gold. So, she wasn’t as poor as she made herself out to be. Kirino at the rank of genin likely had more missions under her belt than many of the jounin and missions were money. ”If possible could the seal be placed on the back of my neck?”

If accepted she would move her white hair from her neck and turn around. Allowing the other ninja to do what he needed to perform the technique for the seal.

“Excellent…, you're making a good choice”, the business deal was made, with a cool 4500 ryo coming his way, Ganki made it all the more closer to his goal. He felt as if he could have stretched it a bit more. While he thought this, he watched as the girl pulled out gold ryo coins, the type of tender a usual consumer would not carry.

“Damn, now I know I probably could have gotten more, Ive been goin easy on these Leaf citizens. This hold village is so different from what I’m used to dealing with, everyone here has money, and with a population this big… God Damn I could roll outta here with some serious money. You know what, im guessin my former kage is sitting nice too in his new life. I wouldn’t be surprised if he forgot where he came from”, his mental thoughts ran wild with ideas, with most of them ending with the same conclusion, Ganki must meet with the current leader of the leaf. “I could at least get 10,000 ryo out of him if I reminisce a bit about the cloud, I’ll call it a well-paid reparation, while also selling him some Sakura merchandise”, however, in truth, as of now, Ganki could care less about the Kage’s state of mind, that is, if it didn’t have anything to do with money of course. A bunch of lost clouds the old cloud era created, divided…, scattered. That’s all they were now, even Ganki discarded most of his old cloud shinobi equipment, and the last thing he wanted was to get caught with that type of contraband. The dark rumors that traveled across the land were horrid in name. What the new leader had in store, the Demon Priest Youka, Ganki had an idea, thanks to Kira.

When in boredom, Ganki sometimes think of Kira, where she had gone, where she disappeared too. His sources and contacts could tell him nothing, even from the black market too. She was gone, perhaps the demon got her, who knows?
 
As for now, Ganki chose to live in the present, keeping it moving day to day.

“Thats quite sack of gold kid, I’ll just take that 4,500 and will set you up, and there really isn’t nothing too it, just focus your chakra towards the seal, slowly though”,, he extends his right hand towards her after placing the cards away, and proceeds to take the ryo, coins, counting them to make sure he got the amount. He also hands over the set of contacts to Kirino after counting the money. “Right, so first, let me warn you, when I place this seal on you, you will pass out, no ifs, ands, or buts. However, I will make it so you can have about 5 to maybe 8 minutes to run home and reach your bed. That’s the only side effect to receiving this seal, I know, it sucks, I still can’t fix that kink, but it’s only a one-time thing, no big deal. So if you still want it, tell me when you’re ready.”

Ganki, now knowing that Kirino had money, knew that he couldn't leave such, a fruitful customer, out of reach. No no no, that was just bad for business. He reaches into his kimono pocket, and pulls out a company business card, fully embossed with violet colored desgins, the design unique only to the Sakura Corporation. He takes another step further and puts his personal Flying Thunder God seal onto on side. "Here, take my card. Whenever you need something from Sakura Corp, write to the Sakura Corp office closest to you, which would be the one in Tanzaku Town, and ill get back to you in as soon as possible." he hands the card over for her to take.

A sudden thought, and old thought came to mind. "Oh, wait wait, could you point me in the direction to the Hokage building, before we do this?

Should she accept, Ganki summons a good amount of chakra with his left hand; the crowd looks over, but continues to move on. He taps the back of Kirino’s neck, following the chakra slowly into her, so the after effect would not take hold of her so quickly, a delay so to speak. Finally, the Kidmaru curse seal forms on the surface of her pale skin where he tapped his finger, seal then settles into a small hook like seal letter, with three prongs.


“Take off Kirino go go go, you’re on the clock, and thanks for choosing Sakura Corp!!”
