Clone Jutsu Training

The school day was well within the period of winding down as the school continued to become emptier. Many students had already made their way home when the bell rang an hour or two before. The bustle and sounds of the excited ninja’s in training dying down as all of them moved aware from the still almost new academy. If you tried closely you may still be able to find flecks of saw dust or a small hint of paint left somewhere in the building, but it was hard, nearly two years of young children going through it will wear down any building rather quickly.
 
Kaito like a handful of others had chosen to stay behind for longer than usual. Electing to move out to the training grounds where only one or two others students were at. He found the more natural areas of this place easier to concentrate in and this afternoon he needed all the concentration he could get, because he was finally going to learn and control the basic clone technique.
 
He moved out into a semi open area. Glancing around at the others around, exhaling deeply he tried to recall what his mother had told him.

“A ninjutsu that creates an intangible copy of one's own body, without any substance. Since the clone itself doesn't have the ability to attack, and thus can only be used to confuse the enemy, it is mainly used in combination with other ninjutsu.” He worded off near inaudibility as he recalled word for word what both the book and his mother had said.
“Ram,Snake,Boar” He recalled “No wait,Ram,Snake,Tiger” he corrected, visualising the three seals in his mind. ‘That was right…right?’ he thought. Something chewed at the back of his mind though, as he stood their making the Ram hand seal. Was that right?
“Clone Technique” He muttered “Snake,Ram….No,no Ram Snake and….” He trailed of seemingly in doubt.

It was a near empty academy classroom where you could find Nano Gōka, looking for a fellow classmate he had decided looked like he needed a friend. He was a quiet student and hadn't spoken to anybody unless necessary. His name was Kaito Tsundoku. After a few moments of searching Nano decided to go check the training grounds outside.

Out in the training grounds he spotted his target out in a large field with a couple other students. He walked up and said "Hi! You're Kaito right? I was wondering if you wanted to train with me?" When he didn't respond Nano tapped him on the shoulder causing him to jump and spin around. Nano repeated his sentence.

While repeating himself, Nano looked at the boy's appearance and made a note to remember it. He had short brown hair parting around his light green eyes and fairly pale skin. He was wearing a blue tshirt with a brown vest over the top with worn blue shinobi sandals.

Once he had finished repeating himself he sat down on the grass and awaited a response. He ran his hand through the grass, enjoying the cool feeling passing through his fingers. After living in nothing but it, you would think he would get over the feeling of nature but no, he could never stop enjoying the feeling. He faced towards Kaito and turned his head slightly to the side, still waiting for a response.

(OOC: I didn't add the relevant word count since i wasn't sure it would count towards training,maybe from the seal part onwards. From my experience though the tapping on my shoulder part is likely minor god modding. Since you made my character turn around,i didn't. Its fine but may be something to look out for in the future.)

Kaito jumped suddenly as the stranger grabbed onto him "Holy sage of six paths!" He cried out "I get your a ninja but-" He trailed off as he realised the stranger was repeating his sentence. "Wait,wha-"

"Who are you,how do you known my name?" He asked "and i mean,i guess,I've been learning, well trying to learn the clone technique,but" He trailed off again as he looked down at the ninja now sitting on the ground.He admitted the ground looked nice,but now was not the time for lazing around.He did note the persons attire though, he seemed fashioned similar to ANBU attire,whether or not this was coincidence was unknown,but it was interesting to say the least.

"I can remember how it works, firm stance,concentrate like your looking at yourself in a mirror and visualise that in front of yourself, but its the hand seals. i don't have a book, i think it Ram,snake and" He paused trying his hardest to recall it "Tiger?" He really was regretting not bring something of reference with him. His original idea was to not have any materials,since he figured in the field you wouldn't have the luxury of reading off hand seals,but now that seemed to be biting him in the butt.

"Ram, snake, tiger. It's ram, snake, tiger. I'm Nano Goka and as to how I know your name, I'm in your academy class. In class today you didn't speak unless it was absolutely necessary and you looked lonely in break so I decided I'd come and talk to you."

"If it's the clone jutsu you want to learn I can help you if you like? I already learnt the clone jutsu not too long ago and who knows? Maybe we can become friends. Nano stood back up then performed the 3 handsigns for the clone jutsu and created 2 clones of himself as a demonstration. "So, What do you think? Want to train together?"

While waiting for Kaito's response, Nano took the time to analyze Kaito's appearance. Kaito had short brown hair which parted down the middle and light green eyes and had pale skin. He wore a blue tshirt with a brown vest over the top with worn blue shinobi sandals. Nano made a note to remember his appearance and continued to wait for a response.

Kaito tried to recall back to the classes, he admitted that recently was rather unsociable, but that was just him trying to concentrate, and while it had been quite some time since his family moved here, he was still somewhat trying to get used to his new life. He was rather used to just being a face in the crowd.

It was why he was surprised that this seemingly random person came and approached him in the first place. He supposed though that company could be harmless, especially in this situation where the new guy, who explained his name to be Nano, jogged Kaito memory and helped remind him of the correct handseals for the technique.

Kaito’s eyes widened ever so slightly as the other student performed the technique near perfectly “I see you can back up your words rather well” He noted with almost a hint of admiration. Training together? That may be helpful. While he felt like he was already rather close to getting the clone technique down, but who knows if he would struggle with future techniques.

“Thank you for the offer” Kaito said initially, “and maybe for the future”

His brow furrowed as he concentrated on making the Ram sign

“But”


He followed it straight away with the Snake seal, trying his hardest to visualise himself, his silhouette, his clothing, and his hair.

“I think”

He switched to the tiger. His entire body tensing

“I got it” In a Poof of smoke two clones appeared next to him, almost being in a spitting image of him. He visualised them moving forward and just like that they took a few simple steps before vanishing. He let out a deep breath as his body loosened back up.

“that was less of a train wreck then I thought” He said before glancing at Nano again “Thank you for your help, at this point though I should probably be heading off” He added “If I don’t start moving before sundown I’ll probably end up lost, again. So I guess ill will probably see you around” He replied “at school tomorrow or something, right?” He concluded.

"Right," Nano agreed before walking back to the exit of the training grounds. On the way out Nano yelled his goodbyes over his shoulder while waving. He was glad he had decided to go and speak to Kaito. He might have just started a new friendship.

Nano was startled by the bustling streets of his home village, having just stepped out of a calm and peaceful training ground. Melting into the crowd, Nano headed back to his campsite and lay down, going over the events of the day. Today was a good day.

Kaito let out a small wave to his new, well friend.  Before Nano vanished around the corner to parts unknown. Well now Kaito had to try and find his own way back, he racked his brain trying to recall which way he was meant to go. Despite being here for over a year he still had trouble with navigation around this village.

“This way” He muttered as he headed out the same way as Nano and into the smallish crowd, turning right to make his way across a less travelled path “No wait” He mused before turning back onto the main street in a different direction “This way” Yes he was sure of it now. He broke into a small jog as he continued along the dirt road. The sun starting to cast long shadows over Kaito and the nearby buildings. He picked up his pace slightly. If the sun got any lower it would make it harder to recognise buildings and then at that point he would probably spend an hour lost, which he wanted to avoid. Again. Plus he had a book he really did want to finish before the night ended.
He paced slowed slightly as he glanced around

“Or maybe, or was the other way” He questioned.
