the water clone jutsu (training)
Wed Oct 08, 2014 4:44 am
Zachariah had just spent the last of his ryo on a jutsu encyclopedia at the ninja shop in konoha. Zach walked to the training field with this book neatly under his arm he sat under a tree as he opened the book to find that the book went in order of the elements fire, water, wind, earth and lightning. Zach already knew his chakra nature was water so he opened up and started reading on the first jutsu he had saw it was the water clone technique. Zach grinned as he imaged himself being able to make solid clones of himself then looked and saw that it only required one handsign to do this technique Zach thought it was odd but also figured it would be harder then it seemed. Zach stood about right on the river that ran through the training field and put up his hands as he concentrated on his chakra levels then preformed the hand signs of tiger as he waited seeing the water move but no clones appear. Zach went over and looked at the book to make sure he was doing everything it said exactly to as it was written. Zach decided if he was going to be able to do this water clone jutsu he would have to do the clone technique first. Zach performed the proper handsigns watching two clones appear after a cloud of smoke but he had done the regular clone jutsu multiple times and it seemed more easier to Zachariah then this new one that he was learning but having ones that wouldn't just be decoy's could be useful Zachariah thought to himself as he concentrated again then slammed his hands together making a loud noise as he made the hand sign of tiger as he did saw the water come up and form a clone it wasn't perfect and it seemed unstable. Zach hit it out of frustration as he looked around making sure no one could see him doing his training. Zach did the tiger hand sign as he waited to see a clone but this time was just like the first time no he couldn't even make a clone and this frustrated Zach even more. Zachariah ran off of the water sitting down and reading the page on the water clone jutsu again as he had to think of how he was going to train this jutsu. Zach put the book down safely then stood up as he had a determined look in his eyes as if some fire was burning inside him as Zach let out a sigh of frustration as he continued walking back unto the water he held his hands in the hand sign for tiger as he sat there taking in deep breaths he had waited as watched his reflection in the water then he thought about that reflection as he was ready to release this jutsu it had made one clone that was a perfect copy of Zach this time he took a moment to celebrate his success at that one successful attempt of the water clone jutsu but this jutsu still didn't feel like he wasn't doing it right or like he was doing something wrong. Zach thought to himself could it just be because he wasn't used to this water clone technique or was it he wasn't ready to actually be able to make solid clones of himself as he figured he could become more skilled at this jutsu as he continued to practice it. Zach performed the water clone technique one more time for him to only have one perfect clone again a second one had formed but didn't last one before becoming unstable as it seemed he still had much work to do with this water clone technique. Zachariah was growling in frustration as he continued having failed attempts at this jutsu. Zach moved off the water performed the regular clone jutsu then undid it and performed the water clone jutsu he watched the water building up as it formed two clones but Zach wasn't celebrating as he had far to many failed attempts that one successful attempt wasn't going to impress him Zach was now growling loudly as he hit punched both of the water clones feeling the water splash onto him then he shook his head as he got ready to preform the water clone technique again as he wasn't going to give up on a technique like this. Zach made the tiger hand sign and tried again and instantly two perfect water clones were made. Zach was still unused to this as he walked watching these water clones mimic his movements he even made sure they were solid clones by making sure he could touch them without them disappearing. Zach growling had become quiet as he started to grin as he released the water clone technique then instantly Zach went back to preforming the water clone technique as he started running around the training field and training with these water clones. Every time Zach would destroy the water clones get covered in water but he would never admit it but he was having fun as he continued with this process of creating water clones even though not all of them were perfect every time yet he would still have them run around the training field and attack each other as the cold water that splashed onto him refreshed him and gave him time to reflect on what he was doing wrong as he sat over and looked at the reflection of the water and watching how the water flowed so naturally and all of a sudden it came to him instead of trying to be so precious about how the water formed the clone and how the clones moved still seemed restricted to Zach like they were sluggish and not able to keep up with him so Zach decided he was going to try it this time but instead of trying to be so precious with his chakra he was just going to let it all flow together as he performed the Water clone technique again watching two perfect replicas of him before him and the clones all jumped in the air as if he was celebrating that he had figured it out but m now was the tricky part as Zach started running towards the middle of the training field and the two clones followed behind him these were not sluggish they were right on him and Zach grinned from ear to ear as he continued fighting these water clones that he could keep creating the only problem he had was they fought exactly like him but they were not as strong as he was. Zach remembered that the book had told him they wouldn't be as strong as he was. Zach looked around the field as it he thought he hadn't even been there that long but looking at the sun it told a different story and Zach heard his stomach growling after all this working on jutsu was making him hungry. Zach listened to his stomach and took a break heading back to his house and making food so he could eat and regain some of his energy. Zach had ate quickly not wasting anytime and drank a warm cup of tea before he headed back to the training field determined to be the best he could be with these water clones as he started making the 5 feet away until he could make them up to 20 meters away from him as long as there was water for them. Zach had taken his time now that he was used to making these water clones and focused more on controlling there actions as everytime he had fought them before they had seemed sloppy but that was Zachs fault for thinking of himself instead of these clones. They seemed rather easy to control as he had one run away from him but it seems they had a range for these clones too it seemed if they went past 20 meters they turned right back into a puddle of water but even if they were reduced to a puddle around a battle field Zach thought to himself. Impressive I could just make them right from the puddles of the water clones that are already been destroyed. This almost made Zach feel like a kid in a candy store as he made more water clones and put them to the test even making them run on water and up trees seeing how they were real clones he even had them all use the taijutsu shunshin technique as they all disappeared in a blur of speed and were halfway across the training field now. Zach was impressed with the things these clones were able to do and at how easy this water clone technique had become since he first started training it that day. The ease of controlling two clones at the same time had seemed to be like a second nature thing as Zach could only think of the opportunities this water clone technique would have for him in the future as he looked over grabbed the Jutsu encyclopedia going to take another look at the book to see if he could learn another jutsu from it but it seemed he had ruined the book well he was training and had not paid attention to where all the water had been splashing. Zach sighed as he thought of the wasted ryo he had just spent on that book then to the sky as he headed back to his house to call it a night.
