Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO] - Page 2 Empty Re: Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO]

Fri Jan 27, 2017 9:11 pm
Komori heard his brother’s incredible comeback regarding this new boy’s eyes as he lazily reformed back into his humanoid self shortly before realizing that Sakana was in his face. He had heard the boy call out to him but did not expect to see him so close. “Yeah it’s me. Didn’t I tell you I was a Hozuki? I forgot.” The genin was in a rather off mood, as his head was more in the clouds as he slowly tried to regain his senses and come back down to earth. He then noticed Senshi emerging from the forest carrying some sort of massive pillar thing on his back. He decided it was best not to ask what it was for, as Senshi was typically more distant than Komori was used to. Instead, he moved past Sakana for a moment and turned to the boy who had introduced himself as a member of the Uzumaki clan and walked up to him, and shook his hand. The boy may not have noticed him before, however, as people unaware of the hydrification technique typically do not suspect that puddles could potentially be people. He noticed that the boy’s hand was clammy and damp, but that did not really affect Komori, as his Hozuki nature meant that his body could entirely turn into water at a moment’s notice. “Name’s Komori Hozuki. That less attractive guy over there,” he pointed to his twin brother, “is my twin brother. You two seem to have already met.” He recalled the words that he had just spoken before Komori had interrupted their conversation. “You can train with us if you want, I was actually planning to learn… Hey Komon!” He said turning away and yelling towards his brother despite being maybe 5 meters away from him. “It’s called chakra infusion right?!” He turned back towards the Uzumaki without waiting for a response, “Whatever he just said he was doing. Like I said, you’re more than welcome to join us.” He awaited the boy’s reply and whatever else anybody wanted to do or say.

Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO] - Page 2 Empty Re: Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO]

Fri Jan 27, 2017 11:12 pm
Hitori gave a smile, but he was taken aback by Komori’s openness. He firmly shook the genin’s hand and analyzed him. “The two of you look incredibly similar and different at the same time. Oh, and I’m sorry about the whole blind thing. I just don’t really talk a whole lot with people. Mother, help me, I think I’m going to faint.

Hitori looked down and noticed he was still clenching Komori’s hand. He gave a nervous laugh and retracted it, and he began to scratch the back of his head in embarrassment. I’m a laughing stock. They’re all going to hate me.

“Uh, at any rate, it’s nice to meet all of you, um,” he said, stuttering. “I-I-I-I’d love to train with you guys,” he managed to get out, “Thanks.”

Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO] - Page 2 Empty Re: Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO]

There was too much going on in too short of a time, all the gennin had appeared out of nowhere in unison and it had caught Komon rather off guard, of course he was happy to help train the people of kumogakure, and chakra infusion wasn’t exactly a difficult technique, He knew from their training session that Senshi was rather adept in weaponry and odds are that he knew chakra infusion as well. “Senshi would you be okay with helping me train them, you can give a general overview of the jutsu and I will help them with any pointers, you’re the weaponry specialist after all, I’d imagine you’d be better suited to teach them than me.” Komon then turned to the three gennin, his brother, the new uzumaki and the one that had introduced himself earlier but he had kind of ignored.

“Yes I am Komon, it’s nice to meet you would you like to train with us as well?”

Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO] - Page 2 Empty Re: Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO]

Sun Jan 29, 2017 1:20 pm
Senshi blinked oddly, staring at the odd amount of Genin in the training field. He had only been around this many people a few times lately, and every time it seemed to be a gathering of Genin. Shaking that thought off, and wondering if it may be possible to start a council of genin, there seemed to be enough of them as it was. Senshi gave a light shake of his head before narrowing his eyes on the red headed Uzumaki boy. His general demeanor seemed to speak to a certain lack of confidence and low self esteem. A thing that Senshi found distasteful in a fellow Kumogakure shinobi.

Still as he observed him Senshi was coming to the conclusion that he must be a newly graduated Genin. His clothes were rather clean, his gear didn’t have the same wear as an experienced Genin like Komon’s did, and his headband was decidedly shiny compared to his, Komon’s and Komori’s. Pushing those thoughts off he turned his attention to the other boy, the Meijan and conducted the same inspection he had of the Uzumaki. Taking in his clothes, his demeanor, and his gear. A Shinobi could tell a lot about someone by doing something as simple as that. By the time he had completed his inspection of the two less experienced Genin, Komon was speaking to them.

Shifting the heavy steel beam on his shoulders slightly, in a minute shrug Senshi finally responded. “I would of course be honored to assist in a fellow Genin’s training Komon-Sempai.” As he was speaking Senshi performed a violent shoulder shrug sending the steel beam into the air, well over seven feet about his head. As it came falling back down he casually caught it with one hand slowing its speed down until he placed it on the ground. A large amount of dust flew up and the ground cracked beneath the weight of the beam. Senshi then pulled one of his tanto’s from his waist with his left hand and twirled it expertly in his grip.

Chakra, a light gray in color version, danced along the blade as he started speaking. “Chakra Infusion is a rather basic concept, made difficult only by the material you wish to push it into. I find that the easiest way to work with a new object is to push my chakra out. Allow it to flow calmly from my hand, or any body part, into what I want it to. While doing this I imagine my chakra filling the object, taking the shape of the object.” As he spoke Senshi pulled his chakra back in, the blade ceasing to glow and then performed the steps as he explained them. The blade slowly taking the previous glow of chakra back on. “The second step to chakra infusion is taking your elemental chakra, for example lightning, and pushing it in. It is difficult to maintain because you have to keep the chakra circulating not only through you but also the weapon while converting it. I find it easier to convert the chakra in my forearm and hand and then circulate it, rather than waiting until it is already in the object.”

As he spoke he once again demonstrated at the same time, the blade slowly developing small arcs of electricity up and down it. It began to crackle lightly, the arcs of electricity jumping off of it in larger and larger jolts before suddenly stopping as Senshi cut off the flow of chakra. With another light twirl of the weapon he sheathed it before continuing speaking. “The final step, is managing to have the chakra sustain itself so that it isn’t attached to you. This is a limited in duration, but good enough for say a thrown weapon. To do this you have to accelerate the way your chakra circulates through the object. Once it is going much faster than your own system normally operated you can throw the object, and it will remain infused with the chakra for several seconds before wearing off. As you do it imagine it as your own chakra circulatory system, and have it flow in a similar pattern.”

As Senshi had been speaking he reached into his weapons pouch drawing forth a Kunai, it lit up with his chakra instantly. Only this time instead of arcs of electricity or a crackling sound, wind chakra danced along the blade. The light gray of the chakra darkened, and an obvious edge of sharpened chakra appeared along the blade. Senshi’s wrist flicked slightly sending the blade flying away from himself. It was obvious that he hadn’t put much of his own strength behind the throw, but it easily pierced through two trees before embedding itself half way up to the hilt in a third. “If you’d like to know any weaponry techniques that this technique is particularly useful with let me know and I can demonstrate them.”

Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO] - Page 2 Empty Re: Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO]

Sun Jan 29, 2017 6:14 pm
Sakana was kind of annoyed that he was ignored by everyone here. Actually he was pretty mad. He just wanted to get home but now he's here in the woods with four other gennin. Komon, Hitori, Komori and Senshi. He didn't really have many opinions on them but it didn't start off good because he doesn't like being ignored. While Senshi was talking he dispersed his water clones and was going to head home. As he started walking home he heard Komon ask him if he wanted to join in in learning the chakra infusion jutsu. As much as he wanted to go home and leave this group of people, he figured he didn't want to miss an opportunity to learn more jutsu. He told komon he'd learn it with Komori and Hitori. So he walked over to the group and stood next to the scared gennin Hitori.

Sakana watched Senshi start to teach them the jutsu. He watched as Senshi's chakra was a light grey color that emerged from his hand. Then it surrounded the blade. Senshi explained to them how this worked and Sakana listened. Then Senshi moved on to a second lesson where he said he was going to show them how to use their chakra nature to infuse it with a blade. Sakana watched as Senshi pushed her lighting chakra into the blade electrifying it. While that was cool Sakana felt that would he useless to him for two reasons. One that he can't learn lightning style and he never can because of his clan's curse so it would provide no use to him. And he thought even if he could infuse the blade with his water nature what would it do? Make the blade wet? That seemed useless in his eyes so he decided he was just going to focus on using his normal chakra to infuse with the blade. Sakana pulled the kunai he keep in his shoe out. Sakana always brought at least one blade with him at all times as a self defense measure. He was happy he brought it along with him as it would let him to train with his own weapons instead of borrowing one form Komon or Senshi.

Sakana walked over to a tree where no one was standing. He held the blade in his hand and was thinking of how to approach this. He wanted to bring the chakra out of his hand and make it visible. So he closed his eyes and focused on the chakra in his body. He pushed it out to his right hand. It flowed through him but it didn't become visible. He was so close but he wasn't quite there. He closed his eyes and tried once more now he could see the grey chakra emerge from his hand becoming visible.

He took his kunai that was in his left hand and placed it on his right hand. Now he had to get the chakra into the blade. He needed to make the blade an extension of his hand. Sakana in one quick motion pushed the chakra to his arm. He felt it flow through his body. And it shot out of his hand on to the blade. His chakra engulfed the blade. He had accomplished his jutsu. He tried it a few more times and saw how late it was.

He said his goodbyes to all his fellow gennin and thanked Senshi for demonstrating the jutsu. Sakana shoved the kunai back into his shoe and went home.

Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO] - Page 2 Empty Re: Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO]

Tue Jan 31, 2017 12:50 am
Komori listened to Senshi’s looooong explanation regarding chakra infusion and decided to say something that was long overdue. “Thanks for doing this, Senshi. You make for a pretty decent teacher, you know.” Without waiting for his reaction, Komori noticed Sakana pulling out a kunai from his shoe. That doesn’t seem physically possible but okay. Anyways, Komori put the words Senshi spoke into effect as he began flooding his right forearm with the bulk of his chakra. He reached into the weapons pouch fastened to his right leg and withdrew a shuriken. He concentrated on using his base chakra to coat the weapon. The chakra, however, came to a halt at the edge of his fingertips. It did not seem to want to be expelled, despite willingly expelling when Senshi was first teaching them chakra sensory in that Capture the Senshi game. For the life of him, he could not remember any details past the start of the game, almost like it had not been completed yet. Shrugging the thought aside, Komori tried to force his chakra out, only to run into a dead end as the pressure built up in his forearm. Okay we don’t want to try that. Instead, Komori withdrew his chakra from the tip of his hand. Okay. He took a deep breath to calm himself. Let it flow, don’t force it. As he relaxed more and allowed his chakra to flow to the end of his hand instead of being the direct cause, he felt himself relax and have his chakra leave his body, instead finding solace in the sleekness of his shuriken. The throwable weapon began to glow with a blue aura which bordered on purple-ish, like a faint medium orchid as it were, instead of the mundane and common blue chakra. As his chakra was properly infused with the weapon, Komori decided to test Senshi’s theory. He did not bother throwing the shuriken, as he instead allowed for his chakra natures to manifest. He was not entirely sure what water infusion would do, so he tried it out. His shuriken then proceeded to begin to drip with water. He then threw the shuriken towards a tree some distance away, but it did not make it to the tree. The water seemed to have weighed down the shuriken, resulting in a heavier object being thrown that did not make it to its intended target. Komori hung his head and sighed disappointedly. Water nature chakra seemed to be literally the only elemental nature to not have a purpose in infusion of a weapon. By inference and logic, Komori could assume that fire nature would cause a weapon to burn and earth to strengthen. He had witnessed the effect of wind nature, which appeared to sharpen the kunai which Senshi had thrown by a thousand fold or something extravagant.

Instead, Komori focused on channeling his lightning nature chakra into the shuriken instead. He felt the lightning chakra build up into his arm, which showed itself by manifesting in expelled bolts of electricity which coiled down his forearm onto his wrist before arcing across his hand and latching onto the blade. However, this seemed to just be for aesthetics, as Komori was naturally a show off when he could be and as such his chakra seemed to mirror himself. This time, Komori tested to sharpness of the blade itself by using the shuriken to slice a small cut upon the palm of his left hand. The blade cut cleanly due to its sharpness, but also left a numb feeling in his hand. “Interesting.” He then threw the shuriken in the tree, and saw that it embedded deep within the trunk, threatening to cause the collapse of said tree. “Nice,” he said to himself quietly. He then pulled out a roll of bandages from his weapons pouch and began to wrap his hand. The genin would probably have to stop by his medical ninja/love interest’s home afterwards and ask her to help speed up the recovery process, as well as providing him with an excuse to see her. It was at this time that Komori realized that Sakana had said goodbye. He had been so last in thought and infusion that he almost had not noticed.“Oh. Bye, Sakana.” Komori was not ready to leave yet, as he was usually one of the last to leave and wanted to interact with people for a bit more.

Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO] - Page 2 Empty Re: Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO]

Sun Feb 05, 2017 5:35 pm
Hitori fluttered his eyes as he processed the flood of information he received. At first, he stared blankly at his new acquaintances, but he transitioned into a slow nod. He rose his hand to his lips and tried to retain all of the knowledge he was given. “I see..” he said nervously, clearing his throat. “I see. Ok, I’ll try it.”

Hitori walked away from the group and watched for a moment at the other’s training. I’ve never been around so many friendly people before. This isn’t some kind of mean trick, is it? No one put them up to this, did they? God, I hope not. But I won’t be surprised if it is.

The Uzumaki boy withdrew a kunai from his grey leather pouch and examined it, making note of every scratch and chip. He extended his arm, drawing the kunai and pointing it toward a tree. Hitori stretched out with his chakra similarly to how he did with his medical ninjutsu. He winced as he focused, concentrating his chakra outward. His hand began to glow, but his chakra halted, not extending outward anymore.

Hitori sighed and slouched over. With a deep breath, the genin stood tall and stretched out his hand, once more. He closed his eyes, envisioning his kunai as part of his arm, and feeling the cold metal on his fingertips. Once more his hands began to glow, and he felt his chakra expand. Hitori opened his eyes to observe, and he witnessed his kunai surrounded by blue chakra, as if it had been set ablaze. I got it! I got it. OK, think sharp thoughts. Think sharp thoughts.

Hitori built up his chakra and launched the kunai at the tree with incredible force, “Here we go!”

The kunai ricocheted off of the tree and into a nearby bush. Rabbits leapt away as the Uzumaki stared blankly at tree with a wide, unimpressed expression plastered on his face. “I don’t think I did it correctly.”

Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO] - Page 2 Empty Re: Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO]

Wed Feb 08, 2017 11:18 pm
Senshi watched as the two Genin he was teaching began to work on the technique, to be honest he realized how rude he had been in not paying more attention to Sakana and thus he walked over watching the Meijan practice. He seemed to have a solid grasp on what he was doing and Senshi took several moments to watch his form to ensure he was doing it correctly. He wasn’t incorrect in the fact that water wouldn’t be good with chakra infusion since Senshi didn’t even know what it would do in the long run with the technique. As the boy seemed to be thinking about how to use the chakra infusion Senshi awkwardly spoke.

“It helps if you envision the chakra taking the shape of the weapon you are using.” He waited for the boy to continue practicing and watched as the boy practiced and finally got it done. Once he had it done Senshi watched him replace the kunai in the shoe and his head cocked to the side. That was a rather good idea to use, and Senshi would make a note of it to ensure that he could have a weapon hidden in the area too. While it wasn’t practical to use a kunai in the shoe, Senshi had a couple ideas that would help him hide even more weapons on his body and ensure that he was even more dangerous. “Your welcome, feel free to look for me any time if you need more help in something.” Senshi watched as the quiet boy left, he hadn’t really taken the time to interact with any of them.

Not that Senshi found this odd since he too wasn’t a particularly social fellow. Despite the amount of social interaction he received, it was not something that he usually sought it. Senshi could actually count on one hand the amount of time he had purposely looked for someone in order to get some social interaction. His chakra sensory was still active constantly pulsing so that he could memorize the signatures around him. It was important for a shinobi to learn the chakra signatures of the people he worked with. After all in the event of an attack knowing who was a loyal shinobi and who wasn’t could prevent friendly fire incidents. Unless ordered to do so, Senshi would never put someone in danger if he could help it.

Well not a comrade that is. He would gladly kill any enemies of Kumogakure in a heart beat. The deserved no pity, despite what Akihana had said several weeks ago. Maybe even a month and a half ago. The days seemed to blend together awkwardly sometime. Senshi finally felt Sakana leave his sensory range and gave a slight nod, he was decently sure he had memorized the other boys chakra. He turned walking over to Hitori in time to watch his kunai throw. Walking up to the boy swiftly he caught the Kunai before it could fly too far away. The lightning chakra in it traveling up his arm and then a small bolt of lightning shooting out of his shouder as he used his Kaminari No ririsu technique in order to less the damage.

“If you change the way you hold the weapon to this,” Senshi demonstrated holding the weapon loosely between thumb and pointer finger. “Then swing your arm like this,” He mimed throwing the weapon several times slowly so that the other boy could easily watch the movement. “Finally spread your legs slightly more apart and take a half squat. It will lower your center of gravity and make you far more steady. Your accuracy will increase dramatically.” Senshi then tossed the blade towards Hitori and would watch and wait for the boy to continue practicing. He wanted to help the boy increase his accuracy with weapons since it would give him some ranged abilities and allow him to be a better shinobi for Kumo.

Komori had already felt as though he had the technique down, so he continued to practice nearly effortlessly once he had gotten the hang of how this jutsu worked. After throwing a few more lightning infused kunai at a tree, he eventually grew tired and decided to wait around for Hitori to catch up to his amazingness.

Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO] - Page 2 Empty Re: Komon and Komori meet Sakana and Hitori [IO]

Tue Feb 14, 2017 9:45 pm
Hitori pondered the information for a moment and nodded slowly. “I see,” Hitori said, drawing another Kunai. Think sharp, kunai-shaped thoughts. The Uzumaki held out his kunai and concentrated on the chakra. His hand began to glow a bright blue, and, like a fire, his chakra spread, encompassing his kunai. At first, the chakra seemingly burned off of the black, steel weapon like a large inferno, but, as Hitori focused, the chakra became more pointed and jagged, meeting at the same angle as the point of the kunai.

“I think I’ve got it!” Hitori said, holding out his kunai. Hitori focused once more, self-sustaining the chakra in his kunai. With a flick of his wrist, the Uzumaki boy launched the kunai, cutting the air like a torpedo through water. The weapon punctured a tree, and then another, finally stopping at a third, but leaving shattered bark in its stead. Hitori ran up to his targets, and he stared through the holes in the trees from his kunai’s entry point. “I did it!”
