Komon had been so caught up in the gennin’s success with the technique, that he hadn’t even been paying attention to his brother, apparently the twin was less than happy with Komon and Hitori’s reaction to his wipe out as Komon heard from behind him “DYNAMIC ENTRY!” Komon began to turn his head and muttered “Oh F--” before his brothers foot landed square on his nose and sent him flying back. The force of the kick sent him into the bark of a tree and Komon slowly picked himself up, brushing a gathered bit of dirt off of invictus before glaring at his brother.

That kick looked particularly useful, and Komon couldn’t help but think that he may need it in the future… And an idea began to form in his head. “You idiot” he’d say relatively calmly before powering up lightning javelin and using body flicker, this would send him to a tree branch at a speed Komori was incapable of keeping up with. Here he would deactivate lightning javelin and sit resting in the tree, before recalling the form of the kick his brother had used earlier.

He had gotten a good view of it when Komori had almost killed Hitori just earlier today, and felt that the technique would be easy enough to replicate, the user simply jumped forward into the air and extended one of their legs forward, using the momentum they had gained to generate both power and speed. It was essentially a drop kick, Komon smiled as he looked down at his brother from the branch that happened to be directly above it before bellowing “DYNAMIC ENTRY”

He’d use the force of gravity to further increase his movements and would drop kick his brother into the ground.

Hitori suddenly found himself in the same whirlwind of conflict that had nearly killed him earlier. “Fantastic,” he said, clenching his butt. Let’s avoid any unexpected penetrating, he thought as he slowly backed away from the brawl.

As Komon stood from Komori’s dynamic entry and retaliated, Hitori could not help but admire their relationship, albeit nervously. He had never formed such a connection with anyone other than his mother before, and witnessing their brotherly conflict interested him immensely, almost as if he longed for something similar, though preferably without any broken noses. Hitori formed the ram seal and quickly put some distance between the two of them with the body flicker technique.

Komori grinned upon his foot making contact with Komon’s face and as he landed turned around to laugh directly at his face. He then sighed when his brother vanished from sight after his rather quick recovery, leaving Komori unexpectantly open as he was not prepared for a move such as this. “It’s one of those days, isn’t it,” he said quietly, mainly to himself. He looked around for his brother but was unable to see him. He began to activate the handseals in order to cause rain to fall from the sky to provide him with a sensory advantage before he was abruptly interrupted by his brother’s foot connecting with his back. This would cause Komori to fall down due to the gravitational effect on his brother’s kick, promptly forcing him to the ground. Luckily his spine did not break. However, when he was falling he instinctively put out his hands to catch himself, and landed hard on the fingers on his left hand. When Komon removed his foot from his back, Komori would sit up and see his now swollen fingers which caused him more pain than they looked. He could tell that they were not broken, but it was still annoying. Much like his brother.

Komon landed on the ground next to his brother after his dynamic entry had successfully landed, and his feet connected gently with the ground causing a slight puff of dirt to jump up, he watched as his brother tried to catch himself as he fell, “That’s not a good idea” he thought to himself as he watched his brothers finger bend in a way it most certainly was not supposed to. The sight almost made him feel bad for what he had done but then he felt a small trickle of blood coming from his nose and remembered why he had done it. “Yah he probably deserved it” he thought to himself again.

Komon now considered himself even with his brother and offered his hand opposite to the Komori’s injured one and helped him off the ground. He knew his brother would try something like electrocuting him or something along those lines but also knew invictus would protect him, the only exposed part of his body was his face, as his helmet was currently clipped onto his belt, resting gently at his side, Komori wouldn’t get another lucky shot.

“Here let me help you” He would say.

“It’s a wonder you two aren’t dead,” Hitori said from across the field. He formed the ram handsign and rejoined the two shinobi. “Here, let me take a look at your hand,” Hitori said, grasping Komori’s hand. “Hm.” Hitori twisted around his fingers, and applied pressure to each joint. “Looks to be stove up. I don’t recommend you land on your hand anymore.” Hitori let go and formed the boar, rat, and snake handseals. His hands began to glow with chakra, and he took Komori’s hand, slowly relieving the swelling and healing the wound. “Here.”

Komori thought very intensely about using his free hand to chidori his brother in the face, but alas, he could not use handsigns. He had been absent minded enough to not use hydrification either, hence the damage to not just his physical form but his emotions. Komon had hurt his feelings very deeply with that cheap shot that was totally not called for. Komori shook his head as his brother pulled him up from the ground. He held out his hand to observe the damage. He had apparently hyperextended his fingers, and would have to wait for them to heal before he was able to perform handsigns again. Hitori walked up to the injured Hozuki and took a hold of his hand. Before Komori could say anything smart mouthed, Hitori formed a few handseals before expelling chakra out of his hands as his minor injury was healed. Komori took his hand back and flexed his fingers, which felt normal. He then proceeded to show Komon that a particular finger of his was okay as well.

Komon was rather surprised when his brother didn’t resort to any trickery while he tried to help him up, he wasn’t typically one to settle for being even, the kid always had to have the last laugh, then komon pieced together that without working fingers he could hardly do anything to him even if he wanted to. He was about to comment on it, when hitori ran up, and offered to help.

Komon was tempted to ask how as the kid was just an academy student but held his tongue, and seconds later was glad he did, apparently Hitori was a medical ninja, that explained his inexperience in combat at least. He watched as the boy covered his brothers hand in chakra and the fingers seemed to mend themselves. And as the fingers became mended his brother of course had to lash out, sticking his middle finger out at komon, komon just smiled and shook his head. “Figured as much” he thought to himself, before thanking Hitori for his help on his brother's behalf because he lacked the manners to do so himself.

“You’re welcome,” Hitori said with a smile, blowing a short breath of hot air out of his nose. He nodded for a moment and looked off in the distance in thought. The Genin then turned back to the two, one at a time. “So, tell me about yourselves. Any family other than either one of you?”

“We used to,” Komori said dramatically as he looked off into the sunset with the wind ruffling through his hair. “Our mother was killed by a ninja from the Village Hidden in the Mist for her visual prowess. She was a Hyuuga like Komon. We lived on the outskirts of Kumo and had to move into the village after her passing.” He teared up at the flash of his mother’s body, blood pouring from her eyes as she had blindly reached out to them for comfort in her last moments. His back was to the boys, however, and he did his best to keep his voice level. However. he did not feel like talking anymore, and left a short silence for his brother to interject with whether or not he wanted to explain their father's death.

Komon listened to his brother explain their mother's death, and watched as he turned his back, he knew his brother wouldn’t admit it but talking about that stuff wasn’t easy for him, it had scarred him much more than himself, and he hadn’t dealt with it like he had in his most recent chuunin exam. He himself had been able to move past it, that moment no longer defined him, and he decided to step in to spare his brother the trouble before recounting their father’s death. He still hadn’t told his brother of what had happened with the rhino’s of raiton valley so he decided to leave some details out.

Our father died protecting a caravan for the village, he was on a mission and came under attack by enemy shinobi he and his team where outnumbered and the enemy left no survivors. He died two years before our mother.

Komon would say in a somber voice, before wondering how a seemingly happy day had turned so dark so fast, or why he was even telling the gennin such a thing at all. “But it’s ok, I plan to follow in their footsteps and become a strong shinobi like I know they would have wanted.” He would say before ending his monologue.
