Komori silently ran along the outskirts of the camp in a wide arc, using the darkness of the night to seal himself. When he found a tree to camp in like his brother Komon had directed, Komori used the ram seal and body flickered to the top of the tree in order to make as little noise as possible. He rested with his knees bent and held himself up by balancing on the sturdy branch and using his left hand to grab it for support. He looped his right hand around part of the trunk that began to branch out into other smaller branches in order to be entirely steady. Then it occurred to him that this seemed like a lot of work and was rather uncomfortable, so instead, Komori released the branches and simply channeled a level amount of chakra to his feet in order to secure himself to the tree in a crouched position at the southwest part of the camp. He would then look to see if Hitori had found cover, as he would be on the lookout for the squad’s weakest member, and wait for Komon to give the signal.

The moonlight reflected over Hitori’s glossy crimson eyes as he stared ahead. The night had caught him by surprise, and he had only recently discovered that they had met their destination. Time had passed by so quickly, and the realization had taken him aback, but only momentarily. As the group dispersed, following Komon’s instructions, Hitori maneuvered swiftly to a nearby tree, like the wind through a field of grass, and climbed as high as he could, rapidly and without creating noise.
Hitori adjusted his eyes in search of Komori and Komon. Komon’s advancing quickly, Hitori thought, as is Komori. Senshi seemed to put a whole lot of faith in him, granted, it’s justified, and I’ve only seen a little of what he can really do. But combat is one thing and strategy is another. Hitori bent down in the tree, narrowing his eyes beyond. I don’t see anything, yet, he thought, raising his hand this mouth. The anticipation ate at Hitori. He could feel his heart beat in his chest, but whether he was terrified or excited was unclear. Or perhaps it was both.
The Uzumaki struggled to still his body in the ecstasy of potential combat, but his will overrode his body’s convulsions. He took a deep breath and lower even further, staring out from the few leaves that remained on the tree. Come on, Komon.

Senshi watched as Komon immediately turned towards the other two Genin and began immediately giving them orders. He gave points for the fact that Komon had taken charge so suddenly and still seemed confident, but then took points away because he hadn’t bothered to ask Senshi any further questions. He also took points away for not bothering to ask if Komori or Hitori had anything they would like to add or any suggestions. He did give more points because Komon seemed to understand the other two Genin quite well, had even planned to keep Hitori as much out of danger as he could since the red headed Uzumaki was by far the weakest of the group. Still it was clear that Komon had not put a lot of study or time into leadership training and that he needed to focus on it a bit more.
Senshi watched as the team split up all heading to their designated spots, he wanted to follow Komon to better evaluate him but decided that the best option was for him to shadow Hitori. As such he shadowed the red headed Genin making sure to employ as much stealth as possible so that the boy wouldn’t know that Senshi was on his tail. He took points off Komon for not reminding the other two Genin to ensure that they moved stealthily and limited chakra usage as much as possible. Komori dashing off in a body flicker had been loud, not to mention if any of the opponents could use chakra sensing he had given away his position for no gain. And before Komon’s plan could even be put into action.
He wasn’t surprised to hear the sudden commotion from the camp, it was clear Komori needed much further training to be ready for Chuunin. He would ensure to have a talk with the Hozuki boy so that he didn’t make the same mistakes again. His hazel eyes watched Komori’s position wondering how the boy would react to what the three brigands were doing. Or how Komon would react to his twin brother being attacked. He knew the boy was strong however and he would allow him to demonstrate his strength and only intervene if necessary. He was more concerned about Hitori anyways. There was a brigand approaching him after all. Senshi readied himself in case the Uzumaki needed his help.

Unfortunetly for the Genin one of the brigands did know Chakra Sensory and the moment Komori used body flicker he immediately shushed his comrades and explained what he had sensed and where it had moved to. He then also mentioned that there was a second chakra signature that was suppressed, but that the first had been far stronger. With that in mind the two stronger people headed towards Komori’s position. Each had their weapons drawn and extended before them in a defensive posture. Neither had the ability to sense chakra but they were prepared to react and attack anything that they saw. It seemed that whatever their comrade had sensed had taken to hiding itself.

Komon would look in disappointment as his brother used the body flicker technique, He had specifically said to stay hidden, he had thought that would imply not using ninjutsu for no apparent reason. Almost the second he did it Komon noted 2 people rushing towards his brother and one rushing towards hitori. “This is baaaad” He thought to himself before leaping into action, the clearing was small, eight meters in length and Komon was on the opposite side from the both of his teammates. Hitori was slightly closer and had no experience in combat which put Komon at unease, the small opponent running towards him needed to be dealt with.
Komon pulled a shuriken out despite knowing that this was a no kill mission, he knew his capabilities well and had spent countless hours merely practicing throwing shuriken by himself, he could hit targets resting on the opposite side of the trees he was facing, skimming a young boys leg wouldn't be hard and would give him the desired effect he was looking for, and Hitori would be able to heal the boy with his medical ninjutsu. Komon would throw his kunai lacing it with lightning chakra (125 speed, 92 sharpness, but its skimming him so say about 15 sharpness) in an attempt to numb the boy and give hitori a slight speed advantage (Lightning blade would numb the leg and give a -10 speed to the boys running speed). Hoping that he could hold his own in a fight.
As the shuriken sored through the air rushing towards the side of the boys leg and ensuring that it wouldn’t hit any arteries Komon was already leaping off his branch with the ram seal formed and as he rushed towards the ground he would slam his palm against the earth, causing an earth spherel to rise up at 65 speed strength and health around one of the two shinobi charging Komori (The clearings 8 meters and komon’s bedrock coffin has a range of 10, also aiming for the ninja with 80 health).
After offering ranged assistance to the both of them Komon now needed to decide who to help, deciding his brother was capable of holding his own in a fight Komon would rush towards hitori, still out of range Hitori would have to hold his own for a post before Komon could reach him to assist.

Once Komori had activated body flicker for no justifiable reason, he knew he had messed up a bit. This feeling was confirmed as the three looters stood up and appeared to notice him. Komori facepalmed and realized that he had forgotten to suppress his chakra. Oh well, he thought to himself. Komori stood confidently on the tree branch as he watched the group disperse. His bravado wavered when he noticed that one of the bandits had targeted the inexperienced Hitori, but was relieved once Komon had weakened the attacker with a shuriken, effectively allowing for Hitori to either body flicker to safety or attempt to take him out by himself. Komori was prepared to perform the shadow clone jutsu to take out his foes, but upon seeing his twin incapacitate the stronger one with bedrock coffin, opted on simply leaping off the tree towards the closest opponent at 107 speed and 50 strength. Komori yelled “DYNAMIC ENTRY!” He had already made his presence known, so he figured it would do no harm. Unless they had comrades in which case Komori was going to have screwed up for the second time that night.

Wonderful. Hitori watched as the shinobi launched from their positions, coming towards his team. Oh God oh God oh God oh God. Hitori launched back onto a branch behind him and lifted the cover on his leather pouch, withdrawing a kunai. He inserted his finger into the kunai and spun it, stopping it’s momentum with his index finger. His heart began to beat faster and faster, and his skin became moist with sweat. “Come on,” he said, under his breath as the shinobi maneuvered toward him.
Suddenly, a kunai zipped passed his attacker’s leg. The moonlight reflected off of the spurt of blood. Komon’s doing, most likely, Hitori thought. He raised his kunai in preparation, but something boiling rose inside him. Like a heated chakra suddenly surging throughout his body. Hitori raised his kunai, but did not throw it. Instead, a chain, fiery in color, erupted from his body, like lava in a volcano. The chain wrapped around Hitori’s arm, and, instinctually, he launched forward, closing with distance with the boy. The chain launched forward, bearing a barb at the end of it akin to a stingray; it would cut with ease, but removing it from the way it entered the body would only cause more damage. This particularly lethal hook took the Uzumaki boy aback, as killing was never his intention nor his desire.
The chain launched towards the attacker’s shoulder (50 sharpness, 50 speed), and, should it hit, would pierce it, lift him from his footing, and pin him to a tree.

Well, that was unexpected. If Senshi were any other Chuunin he probably would have face palmed at what had just happened. He gave points to Komon for understand the vitalness of the situation and reacting appropriately. He had attacked two of the three opponents and then targeted the one who while not the biggest threat to the team as a whole, was a threat to the weakest member. Still Senshi took off half a point for not supporting his brother more instead. If Komon had been more aware of his surroundings he would have easily seen Senshi providing back up to the red haired weakling that was on their team.
That shuriken throw had been surprisingly accurate for a non weapons specialist though, which told Senshi that Komon was smart enough to train in other areas then just his specialty. That was good on him, but not something that Senshi was grading. Watching how the situation was playing out Senshi decided to intervene his hands forming a quick ram seal and he disappeared in a blur of speed. He skid to a halt next to Komori his hands already forming hand seals. It was not a technique that he had been able to practice much on his own, though he was in the process of learning it.
Lightning Style: Rat Violent Quake. A technique that Senshi had come across in his studies that he had been wanting to try out for quite awhile. The technique created multiple small balls of electricity that surrounded the user. The user could then direct the balls of lightning to attack something either with telepathy or using hand movements. It wasn’t a particularly strong technique but it was one that Senshi could derive many uses from it. Especially if it put someone on the run like he was intending to do. Komon’s Earth technique after all would provide wuite the good anvil to smash something against.
Something like the body of a no good temple robber or bandit. Senshi at least hoped that these guys were the temple robbers and not some random bandits. If they were he would be having a very serious discussion with Komori about maintaining proper stealth in a combat environment. Still even if they weren’t the temple robbers they were clearly bandits of some sort or else they would not have attacked Shinobi the way they had. From the look on the man going after Hitori it was apparent that these guys were aiming to kill. Senshi focused in on his opponent letting Komori deal with the woman.
His hands flashed with the hand seals of the technique and suddenly four small balls of lightning began to form around Senshi’s shoulders slowly rotating around his head as if they were small planets and his head the sun. He focused his lightning chakra and directed all four balls towards the same opponent that Komon had targeted with his Earth Style technique. His eyes roamed over to check the situation with Komon and Hitori’s opponent first. He could see the man impaled through his lung on a chakra chain and he released an annoyed sigh. His eyes quickly checked on Komori and his opponent before heading over towards the man Hitori had impaled.
“Hitori, you are supposedly a medic correct? I suggest you put your skills to use and heal this man before he dies of a sucking chest wound. If they are the temple robbers then we will fail this mission if he does die.” Senshi tried not to let any anger at the fact that Hitori had inflicted a possibly fatal wound on one of their opponents. He had no wish to fail his first mission as a team leader as he knew it would reflect badly on him. It would be entirely his fault too for allowing Komon to lead the mission instead of taking command himself. He had only wanted to help the boy, to assist in developing him as a leader so that he too could get promoted to Chuunin. But it seemed that was going to bite him on the ass in a bad way.
Gritting his teeth and forcing his emotions under control he looked to Komon and spoke. “Do you know a technique to see if they were the temple robbers?” His attention shifted to Komori and he continued speaking, “Bind up your opponent Komori so that he cant escape.” He sarted walking towards the opponent both he and Komon had attacked pulling out a roll of wire. “Komon if you could use that technique to check on them, it would be appreciated.” It seemed that the man he and Komon had attacked had run straight into the jutsu Komon had used knocking himself out.
Senshi’s technique seemed to have been superfluous, but the man had looked rather sturdy so he had wanted to be sure. Komori’s opponent was knocked out on the grass as well, her head bleeding lightly from a wound. He would have to trust that Komori would do that right thing and apply some first aid to the woman. After he and Komon interrogated the man he would move to check on Hitori’s patient. Hopefully the small man lived, considering that he was slowly bleeding out and his lungs were filling with liquid due to Hitori’s chakra chain piercing through his lung instead of his shoulder.

Komon watched as senshi dealt with the majority of the enemy ninja and as hitori pierced a chakra chain through his young assailants lungs. The mission was going south fast it seemed and senshi was clearly not healthy, he took a mental note of the bearded man's gritting teeth before senshi ordered hitori to start healing the man he had just impaled and asked Komon if he could verify the identity of the assailants. Komon nodded in confirmation as he activated the eye mind reading technique on the unconscious body laying on the ground.
Upon entering the mind of the boy he played through his recent memories, in it he saw several occurrences of breaking and entering into a bountiful amount of temples where he desecrated and stole from them.
“Yeah, it’s the temple robbers all right” He’d say before turning to look at hitori, the kid was just starting his medical training and now he would have to heal a collapsed lung.

Komori did as he was told by the chuunin in charge, especially since his twin brother seemed to be an incompetent leader that did not bother keeping the slightly loose cannon that was Komori Hozuki under control by giving any instructions whatsoever. Common sense is totally not a thing or anything. Anyways, Komori realized that he did not have any rope on him in order to bind the two fallen bandits. So instead, he made a couple of shadow clones and had them scout the area looking for a water source as he shifted his attention to Hitori, who was probably panicking by such an unexpected expulsion of chakra. Komori turned back to the two unconscious criminals on the ground, and to test whether or not they were truly unconscious, he used 1000 years of death on both of them to make sure that they were truly unconscious, as the odd taijutsu technique did not affect those who were not conscious. A clone reported back that there was a small lake not far from the encampment that the bandits must have been using as a water supply. Komori instructed his clones to find a way to bring water to his current position, whether it be by a jutsu or not. He would not have had to go through so much trouble if he was allowed to produce his own water source with Rain Tiger at Will, but decided that when Hitori was trying to save someone with a punctured lung, that it might not be the best timing. Shortly afterwards, his clones had managed to bring a rather bountiful supply of water, to which they then both performed water release: water prison technique in order to surround both prisoners. The real Komori would now head over to Komon’s side to observe what was happening.

Oh no. Oh no, no, no. I didn’t mean to do that, I-. Hitori looked at his hands, noting every crevice and crack as they shuddered. He raised his head to look back at the injured shinobi slowly, forcing his head to rise. The boy’s torso had been pierced, and it was rife with blood, pouring out of him like a waterfall and staining his clothes. Crimson liquid leaked from the corners of his mouth.
No, no, no, no... I didn’t- Someone help! Hitori screamed but the words did not escape his mouth. Instead he looked at the chakra chains protruding from his body. Their fiery glow pierced his eyes. “Oh no…” he mouthed, looking onto the barbed hook with horror.
Senshi and the others launched toward him, though it was difficult to hear and comprehend their words. “I’m sorry, Komon,” he whispered. “I failed.” Hitori looked up as Senshi instructed him to heal the man, but then back. Hitori looked at his hands and at the chain. It faded slowly away, leaving more blood in its stead. “I can’t.” Or I won’t? Is it wrong to take a life? Is it wrong to save one? Does the mission come first? Do I even want to support Kumogakure?
Hitori held his head and began to hyperventilate. Nervous sweat overtook him. Komon’s going to fail. He won’t succeed, no way. I can’t. I can’t do it. I don’t even want to, I-
Hitori caught his breath slowly. I can’t let the dead down. No, I can’t. I wouldn’t let mom down. I can’t. I won’t.
“OK. I’m going to try. For you, Komon. And for the dead.” Hitori leapt to the boy. He focused his chakra and formed the seals, and a blue aura began to seethe off of his hands. He pressed his hand against the boy’s wound and focused. “I just need to concentrate.”
