Ryou-ling Stones [Ryou Kenshin][No Kill, Open]

"Oh, How did you do it?" Ayame asked enthusiastically noticing that the boy got the space-time Jutsu down pat as she had moments before. She was happy for him!

Ayame then turned to the boy. "You need a longer blade, like a katana or a Fuma shuriken, no mere kunai will do. I believe a stick might work too, but don't quote me on that." Ayame withdrew her Fuma, walking behind the boy and standing behind him hile taking his hand in hers and holding it in front of him, away from his chest. Ayame then released part of the blade, allowing it to open.

"What you do now is swing it like a willow tree blowing in the wind." Aya would say focusing her energy on the flowingness of both her water element and his air element. "I'm not sure if you have seen trees before, being here in a desert, I know some of you might and others might not, which is okay, but if you haven't, a tree is a giant cylinder of wood that is connected to the ground. It extends out in an almost web-like way into deep roots, whereas catci have roots that are primarily on the surface, and High and wide extending appendages as well." Ayame tried to think of a better example. "uhhh... Oh Yeah! That's right! It's kind of like a giant piece of broccoli!" She explained. "Except for the light green part, the stem of the broccoli is brown and woody."

Ayame continued on, "A willow tree is a little different than the stereotypical tree. Instead of having limbs that are straight up" Ayame walked away from the boy leaving the Fuma shuriken in his hand, and approaching the front of him with her arms up in a Y shape, "It's branches are thin and flexible, and droop like a maiden's hair, rather than stiff and sturdy."

Ayame prepared herself backing up a little ways. "Try it!" she said awaiting the boy's next move.
Fuma shuriken or even basic swords were available in the shop at pretty reasonable prices, so he should be able to afford one with a little time and hard work.

She readied her genjutsu release, holding the hand sign in front of her to release it if it worked the first time. "Ready when you are!" she called excitedly.

"Oh, How did you do it?" Ayame asked. Ryou awnsered in the same tone as Ayame. "Well, I imagined time as a river and I would use my chakra to cause friction in the water to slow it down." Ryou still thought he figured it our before her, so he proud.

Ryou thought it was hilarious that she was describing tree to him. Ryou knew what trees looked like but he had never seen them in person. He didn't say anything though because he knew where she was coming from. There was something wrong, he knew was a willow looked like but has never seen move before. He had to use his imagination for this jutsu.

Ayame then gives him her Fuma shuriken, which Ryou has never held before. He almost drops it before readjusting his grip on the enlarged shuriken. "Wait, what do I do to for the genjutsu part?" Ryou asks then continues, "I've never used a genjutsu before." He hoped Ayame would help him with genjutsu because he knew nothing about it.

Ayame chuckled. "Do they not teach genjutsu at the academy here?" she joked with a cheery smile on her face. "You need to focus on visualizing what the enemy will see and project it out to them, I guess. I"m not too good at explaining most things, so that's really the best I can do." Ayame noted. "Genjutsu isn't really a strong point for me, but if I work at it hard enough, I can master the basics and widen my arsenal."

Ayame stretched her arms above her head, leaning backward but also on her toes to stretch herself out. Then she suddenly remembered something. "Hey, um... there's this one Jutsu I could never seem to get the hang of in my academy days... if you know it, could you please teach me?" She stated calmly and slightly embarrassed. "It has to do with escaping ropes and binds by using chakra instead of brute strength." Ayame gestured to her body during her next sentence, "In case you can't tell, I'm not really muscley or fit looking" she muttered noting how sickly she probably looked to the boy.

"I mean, if you don't know it, I could try to learn it again, but it's so hard and I used to get teased because of it, as it came so easily to my other classmates." She stated feeling rather comfortable around  Ryou now."

Ryou heard the Ayame say her not so well explanation,"... You need to focus on visualizing what the enemy will see and project it out to them..." He nod as he understood.

Right before he was about to try out the jutsu again she asks about learning the rope escape technique. He smiles, he was finally going to teach her something. "Here, one second." He goes over to his stuff and pulls out a nice thick rope. "Sit by that rock and I'll tie you to it." he says pointing to a nice sized boulder.

If she does as asked. Ryou will tie her to the rock and tell her. "Your going to wanna loosen up the rope with your chakra, so you need to expel your chakra into the rope." Then while she tries to figure that out Ryou would try using the jutsu she was trying to teach him. He waves the fuma shuriken around, keeping the image of a willow blowing in the wind. This helped a bit as he could feel the chakra changing the fuma shuriken to little copy waves.

"Alright, got it" Ayame would reply allowing the genin to tie her to a boulder and watching him try his hardest to perform the genjutsu correctly to which she smiled and praised him when he got it down pat. "Very Good!" she would exclaim.

Ayame would then focus on running her chakra through the rope to untie it if she could, however when that didn't work, she focused her energy on severing the rope. She got it near immediately! Holy cow! That was WAY easier than it was back when she was in the academy. She was completely shocked and taken aback at how fast she did it.

"Whoa" She would say speechless. "I can't believe it"

Ayame would then proceed to pick up her Jutsu book. There had to be one more thing she could quickly learn before she had to grab lunch on account of her tummy rumbling.

"Oh okay, " she noted to herself. "If you want to join me, you can. I'm going to work on E-rank Locking and Breaking with Fuinjutsu." She noted. "Locking up my Jutsu Encyclopedia shouldn't be that hard" she mentioned closing the book and calming her breathing.

Ayame held the book out in front of her with her hand hovering just above the front cover, index finger glowing with chakra. She would then tap the cover of her book, however, it didn't work the first time and just fizzled, however, she remained vigilant, trying again, and successfully locking up the book.

That was the easy part. Now she had to unlock the book, which was much more difficult. She focused chakra to her hand again, this time with the intent to unlock, however it wasn't simply that easy. She needed to focus on the inner workings of the lock she had put on moments prior, her middle and index finger glowing blue with chakra.  After a couple minutes of picking around at it, she finally got it fully unlocked.

"Oh thank god, I was scared there I wouldn't be able to undo it now" She mentioned giving a short laugh and practiced the two Jutsu a few more times, blindly forcing her way through it and gaining more comfort with these two basic E-rank moves.

Once she finished, she looked up at Ryou noticing the time. "Oh shoot, I have to get going, I'm really sorry, Ryou. Perhaps we can train again sometime!" she mentioned, waiting for his response. She would then say her goodbye and run off to go get lunch and then to meet a friend.

Ayame couldn't believe she had let the time get away from her like that. Still she hungered for the seafood special ramen at her friend's favorite grill where she would be meeting him for lunch to hang out and relax. The exams often brought a crap ton of stress as baggage, so it was good to get out and relax every once in a while

Ryou sighed in relief as Ayame praised his success. "I'll have to get one of these." He says giving back her fuma shruiken. The weapon, even though quite heavy, as starting to grow on him. He imagined battling foes and sparring with friends with it, he didn't think it was a bad weapon to own.

"Oh shoot, I have to get going, I'm really sorry, Ryou. Perhaps we can train again sometime!" Ayame tells Ryou as she takes off. He waves good bye. "Bye big sister Ayame." He called back at her as he still saw her as a older sister. He grabs is sweat shirt after she disappeared from sight and started walking back to his own home. He smiled and looked at his hand and fingerless glove. I've learned so much, Aunt Hirioko is going to be so proud .
