Team Purple - Page 3 Empty Re: Team Purple

"Ugh" was all he was able to say upon hearing Komori's request for him to fly around the village. He hated that stupid bird. Komon knew it but Komori did not. The only reason he had decided to take the bird the first time was because he needed to get there really fast. But he obviously went to the training grounds for a reason and that reason was to prepare for war so against his will he would help Komori.

"I hate flying" is all the gennin would said as he extended his hand out for Komori. Sakana watched as it began to form a black mark on his wrist that seemed to disappear as soon as Komori let go.

Now for the annoying part. Sakana had a look of frustration on his face as he approached the bird. He remember the first time he had tried to mount the giant hawk, he got kicked off and fell on the ground. While that did not happen anymore it still reminded him that he needed to be careful when on the beast. In his mind he just wanted to get this over with, this same line of thinking must of transferred over to the bird because as soon as he mounted the hawk it shot off. Sakana still hated the feeling of the wind pushing against his skin but at least it did not make him sick to his stomach anymore.

For a moment or so the Meijin had to idea where the bird was going. It had seemed to have a mind of its own and it was not until Sakana had seen the destination in the distance that he knew where they were going. The were gaining speed and quickly approached the lake. Sakana must have subconsciously wanted to go to a safe place so it took him there.

As they landed a sigh of relief would come over The boy. He was happy to be on solid ground and he was even happier that he was at the lake. His injuries would not allow any hard training though so he managed to hobble over to a tree, sit down and wait for Komori to come and find him.

Komon watched the redheaded child pull out his scroll so that he could further study the technique he had just failed to use properly. A small smile would form across his face as he was reminded of the trial and error phases of his training early on in his gennin years. Mistakes often taught you more than success and it was good that the uzumaki was aware of that. The young but growing older Hyuuga took a breath as he began to speak. “Alright call me when you’re ready to try again.” Before turning to the wooden dummy once more and practicing with his sword play.

Now he’d begin to practice the technique he actually intended to learn instead of meaninglessly doing basic sword drills he had already done a thousand times in the path. Although those drills where monotonous they where absolutely necessary to be consistent in skill when it came to swordsmanship one could never allow themselves to be rusty or it may cost them a match… Or life. And now that he had gotten the drills out of his way he could finally move onto the fun part. The fancy sword tricks that often gave one the upper hand in a battle.

The particular trick he had been focusing on lately was a way to draw your weapon out at an increased speed, this would allow him to respond to a threat quicker and get in a fast strike if he had too. This technique was called the dancing blade risk, and was created specifically to allow the user to strike fast. As komons palm rested on his blade and his glazed grey eyes peered at the wooden target in front of him his legs began to push forward with his incredible speed.

If the dummy could feel anything at the moment, Komon liked to imagine it would be a mixture of fear and pain as his metal blade flicked out of its sheath and ripped through a chunk of the wood, causing splinters to fly out as his blade left a scar on the dummy's body. He let out a small smile as he placed his sword back in it’s sheath before returning to hitori just in time to see him say he was ready to try again.

Komon of course began to suppress his chakra again on request, there was no way in hell this technique would work if he didn’t after all. And the suppression technique didn’t require much skill as Komon had become quite adept at using it over the past couple of months. His relatively large amount of chakra began to seep and quell itself as he looked at the redheaded uzumaki’s face. “Ready when you are hitori” He’d say goading his student into using the technique.

Hitori claimed he had aimed a bit to high last time before he lashed out at Komons neck, and this time the Hyuuga instantly felt the effects as his nervous system was almost instantaneously rewired. As he tried to reach out to slap the boy again in order to test if the technique had worked or not his leg flew out from underneath him and he completely lost his balance before landing onto his own face in the grass.

When he tried to use his other arm to push himself up from the grass his fingers began to wiggle on his left arm. He let out a sigh face down, before the grass muffled what he had to say. “I fink, is saf to say eh worked” Komon then just kind of laid in place awaiting the effects of the jutsu to wear off as he wasn’t exactly a patient man and felt he would get irritated at trying to figure out which attempt to move a limb would actually move the limbs he wanted.

“Beaful wether ere havin” he would say as his face still laid muffled in the grass.

Team Purple - Page 3 Empty Re: Team Purple

Sun Mar 12, 2017 6:21 pm
It did not matter how much Sakana complained, since this was of course a team building exercise and all. So if he wants to continue being part of the team then he should probably contribute. And besides, who hates flying? That seems like it would be awesome. Anyways, Komori waited a few minutes as he observed his other teammates training. He started laughing once Komon had fallen onto his face, and began to laugh even harder at his brother. So much so that he decided to take advantage of it. He walked up to the pair, clutching his stomach from laughing as he looked at his brother on the ground before kicking him with a small amount of strength, not too much to hurt him and not little enough that he would not feel it. After all, his nervous system was kind of screwed. “Thanks, Hitori.” Komori then continued to poke Komon with his foot, “Is it dead.”

Feeling as though enough time had passed, Komori said farewell to the two others, promising to return after he had found Sakana. He then began to run towards the village as he activated the clone seal, calling forth two strapping young lads that arrived in puffs of smoke. They were already running upon being summoned and began to talk to the original as they kept running.
“So, why did you want us here? Don’t you get to find out where he is like almost instantly or something?”
“...”
The second one spoke up, “Well?”
“I get bored sometimes,” was the only reply from the original Komori.
The two shadow clones sighed as all three began to hold the ram seal and head in a similar direction. Komori himself darted up and used the surface walking technique to scale a building as he began to leap from rooftop to rooftop, darting across the skyline of the Village Hidden in the Clouds. As the path below diverged into a fork, one shadow clone would carry on the paved road while the other doppelganger would leap into the forest to approach from a different angle. The three Komoris would proceed to an array of training grounds, still holding the ram seal as they began to narrow down where their friend and teammate had gone. As a result the three would begin to comb through various training grounds, Komori leaping off of a building and darting through the tree tops, Clonemori A heading towards a training ground complete with wooden and straw dummies and then the final clonemori heading towards the lake.

Since he assumed that Sakana would be lazy and not want to do anything, it did not take long for the second clone to find the Meijin resting against a tree. The clone would sneak behind the tree that the genin was resting against and quickly dart in front of him, yelling “BOO!” in an attempt to scare him before dispersing in a cloud of smoke. The other clone would also disperse despite not being in the area. Komori would then hop down from across the water and run on top of the surface of the lake towards Sakana. Once he reached him he would casually just say, “Sup.” as if he did not just manage to track the boy down with pinpoint accuracy by using a single handseal. This jutsu could definitely come in handy. “Want to head back?”

Team Purple - Page 3 Empty Re: Team Purple

Hitori watched as the Hyuuga fell to the ground. Excellent. It worked, he thought, as the pale eyed chuunin began to squirm in order to master his movements, but this was to no avail. The red haired Uzumaki’s diaphragm began to convulse as laughter began to emanate from the small genin. Komon struggled to even move, shifting in the dirt and dirtying his clothing.

And then he fell on his face. Hitori erupted into more laughter as this was something the young shinobi was accustomed to, and now he knew just how ridiculous he so often looked. The Uzumaki boy fell back, laughing and kicking up dirt as Komon tried to speak. He could make out words like “Beautiful weather we’re having,” or, at least, that’s what Hitori thought the chuunin was trying to say. He let the laughter run its course as he wallowed on the ground, staining yet another jacket. The white fur soon became a light brown and the crimson an ugly brick color.

As Hitori’s laughter began to die down, tears streamed down his face. He wiped them away, smiling. The Uzumaki chuckled slightly, slowly shifting into a decrescendo. He smiled watching Komon struggle. It was nice to see his pain on the other end, though this would be more satisfying had he used it on Komori.

Komon was fairly nice, nicer than post people, but his brother was the bane of Hitori’s existence. The constant struggle between the two of them was an annoyance to say the least, but it kept Hitori on his toes. Komori was, somehow, a motivator for Hitori, despite their very obvious difference in power.

Komori often brought out the worst in Hitori, along with an incredibly harsh competitiveness.  It was almost an addiction for Hitori, the competitiveness, because it acted as condensed form of social skills, something Hitori had up until recently lacked. It was pure, raw, social interaction, and it was like a drug to him.
Komon, however was a different story. He came off as the more serious and disciplined of the twins, and he was certainly less obnoxious. The Hyuuga also refrained from humping every female in sight, one of Komori’s more… annoying tendencies. Other than the obsession with that infernal One Thousand Years of Death jutsu.

They certainly had an interesting dynamic, and both of them were so full of life. Larger than life, and Hitori admired that, to a degree. This war would change that, and Hitori was afraid it would destroy their happy-go-lucky personality, even more so than the chuunin exams, whatever they were.

The Uzumaki glanced at the two of them, losing his smile. He looked back down at the ground and ran his hands through the dirt and looked back up at them, giving a fake smile.

Sakana was still tired and hurt because he had just come out of a coma hours before. So while he was laying against the tree he fell asleep waiting for Komori. The Meijin boy was awoken by someone screaming in his face and then the body in front of him disappeared. So still in a daze he began to get up as he saw the real Komori in front of him. The gennin began to piece together that the disappearing figure was probably one of the chuunin’s shadow clones.

Now that Komori had found him they needed to head back to the spot where Komon and Hitroi were training so that they could regroup and talk about the war plans. Sakana did not really want to walk back so instead he would be forced to take the bird again. He took out his painter set and began to draw, he looked up at Komori and decided he could ride on a bird too. “Hey Komori, if you do not want to walk back you can ride on the bird.” Sakana got on his and if Komori would decied to take the boy up on his offer the other bird would be waiting for him. they would then take off back to the training spot. The ride would be mostly uneventful and they would reach the place where Komon and Hitori were still training.

Team Purple - Page 3 Empty Re: Team Purple

Komon’s face stayed stuck in the ground a bit longer while he awaited the effects of the jutsu to wear off patiently, in the distance he could hear the uzumaki child fall to the ground laughing, which made him give a concealed smile against the rough dirt his face was buried in. If his own misfortune could take hitori’s mind off of the war and his obvious displeasure with it for even a second, a faceful of dirt was more than worth the the discomfort.

“Thud” Could be heard as his brother kicked him in the ribs. Komon was obviously irritated at this and tried to lash out with his arm only for his face to rise before slamming back down into the dirt. “Phuck ff” He’d mutter before letting out an obviously annoyed sign, at around this time he’d normally be smacking his brother on the back of the head and telling him to shut up or something but there were obvious measures in place to prevent such an occurrence.

So he just sat there for a couple more minutes as he heard his brother walk off before he began to feel the effects wear off from the jutsu and began to pick himself back up. “That’s one hell of a jutsu Hitori” He’d say as he brushed the mud and dirt off of his shoulders. It wasn’t an empty compliment either, the technique was truly remarkable, If Hitori practiced landing the attack whatever enemy he may face could find themselves in a lot of trouble.

Noticing the tired feeling in his body Komon would look to the sky to see that his instincts where yet again telling him it was time to wrap a training session up. The sun was setting and the day was coming to an end.

As he took this into account he saw Komori and Sakana appear over the skyline of trees on the training ground on the black and white bird that he had taught Sakana to summon in the past. A small smile would appear on his face as he waved his arm to greet them. As sakana would land he’d pull out his old katana before smiling and saying, “Sakana, take this, odds are you may need it in the war, and I’m getting a new one soon, cant let Komori show me up with those obnoxiously large swords afterall” Komon said hinting that his brother may be overcompensating.

Whether Sakana took the sword or not Komon would then turn to the remainder of the team before giving his last set of orders. “Komori, Hitori, Sakana… We take to the hidden rain in a couple of days, get some good rest or training in before then whichever you feel you need more. I’ll see you in a few days time” He’d bark as he turned to travel home.

Team Purple - Page 3 Empty Re: Team Purple

Wed Mar 15, 2017 5:38 pm
Komori decided to take the boy up on his offer, despite the Meijin being a lazy good for nothing loser who decided to take a nap instead of train. After all, the enemy would not care whether he had just woken up from a coma for some odd reason or just feeling a little drowsy. He would need to find a way to not be so limited by his own body, preferably by training himself to become a better and stronger genin than he was before. The boy had only partaken in one of the six technical chuunin exams, and had fallen into a coma merely in the first preliminary. Komori worried for the little dude, who he viewed as a possible student of his, even moreso now thanks to his own promotion to a chuunin. He himself was now in a position to lead others, like Sakana, the boy who only seemed to be able to perform water style ninjutsu. Of course, the Meijin had never actually informed the Hozuki that he was a Meijin and what that even meant to his elemental affinities, mainly because Sakana seemed like an antisocial loser. Komori shook his head at the hole that was just made in the proverbial fourth wall. Anyways, the Hozuki accepted the offer that Sakana had presented, as he did not feel like running all the way back to the training grounds. Instead, he wanted to fly there so he could get back as quickly as possible. Hopefully, his twin brother Komon would still be lying in the grass so that the more handsome of the two could kick the uglier one who had been lying on the ground.

Komori flew into the air on the back of his own painted hawk. How is this thing even remotely sturdy enough to carry a person on its back, Komori thought to himself. It was rather confusing, however, the answer was probably what it always seemed to be in the shinobi world: chakra. Chakra does this, chakra does that. It was a bit vague sometimes and incredibly annoying to write about if that was all that one had to do. Although, it could be described as a life essence of sorts, as it gives life to jutsu in the same manner that it gives life to these birds in the sky. Komori looked out over the Village Hidden in the Clouds… the good parts. Not the ruined outskirts of the town. Not the wall that separated them from the rest of the world. Especially not the marshes and fields full of living corpses outside of the walls. That was easily the worst part about Kumogakure to the younger shinobi, and most likely to everyone except for the Raikage himself, who had implemented those… things… there some time ago when he took over the village. The man was a legend, and a feared one at that. Some even questioned if he was even a man or not, instead settling on the idea of a demon. Komori was still fairly young, all things considered, when he had taken over so he only had a vague collection of memories from that time, most of which he chose not to dwell on.

Instead, he focused on the air coursing through his hair, as Sakana’s antisocial self did not seem to want to have a conversation. By now, he knew that if he attempted, then the genin would probably just ignore him and act like nothing happened. Komori enjoyed flying more than he expected that he would. The height in the air gave the boy a feeling of humility, as he was able to see how large the world truly was. Even then, this was only from their small sector of the shinobi world. There were easily thousands upon thousands of other shinobi, so what truly made him stand out? Was it his bloodline? Skill? Desire to protect others? Maybe he did not even stand out at all and he was just another warrior fighting for his home. The thought of war came to mind once more. This land that he was able to see was to all be a part of Kumogakure as well. Komori only hoped that this would not mean an expansion of the living corpse fields, as those were terrible tourist attractions.

The two arrived back to meet up with his twin and the other genin, where Komori was disappointed to find out that Komon had recovered from the technique. He then watched as his twin brother gave Sakana a katana, which was smaller than Komori’s blades. And if the Hozuki could read minds, Komon would be getting stabbed by blades that were not overcompensating for anything at all. He then suffered through his brother’s orders, as it was weird enough that the two were basically the same age, but his brother still had a slight authoritative advantage over him. Oh well. Komori would give his goodbyes to the genin as well before running after his brother to accompany him on the way home, but not before he attempted to dynamic entry him in the back. All that Hitori and Sakana would hear is the sound of Komori yelling “DYNAMIC ENTRY!” and then a thud, which would most likely have been Komon’s back meeting Komori’s foot. He would then wait for Komon to pick his less attractive self off the ground and instead, head home together.

Team Purple - Page 3 Empty Re: Team Purple

Wed Mar 15, 2017 9:05 pm
As Komon slowly regained control over his body, rising up above the ground. The Uzumaki was genuinely excited that the jutsu had worked, especially so successfully. And on Komon, albeit he was suppressing his chakra. Still, the jutsu showed much promise, and it would no doubt come in handy in the war. The Body Derangement jutsu provided so many ways to execute targets, leaving them open for the killing blow, or it could provide the perfect means to restrain a target or capture them. The possibilities were seemingly endless, and the generation of ideas filled the red haired Uzumaki’s head.

What was somehow more rewarding than the genin’s little performance was the appreciation and praise the jutsu had received from Hitori’s target, Komon. His approval would certainly be noted by Hitori, for Komon was one of the most powerful shinobi he knew personally, and his feats were great.

However, what Hitori admired the most about Komon was his lack of an ego, which almost entirely contrasted with his infernal twin brother, Komori Hozuki. Even if it was hard to keep track of their names, sometimes, similarities and all. That, and blood, were really the only thing the two of them shared. At least as far was Hitori could remember. Their personalities, even looks, were stanchly different. Komon was patient, more reserved, calculating, and overall more serious. Komori was loud, obnoxious, egotistical, and, well…

He was a bit of an asshole. Slightly charismatic, but an asshole nonetheless.

“Thank you, Komon,” he said, brushing off his pants. I appreciated it.

Hitori looked up at the sky. The once blue atmosphere had become an assortment of lavender, orange, yellow, pink, and violet clouds. The many balls of cotton stretched over the pale blue sky as the sun began to sleep and the moon began to rise. The forest was rapidly becoming dark, so Komori said his goodbyes, and he told them of their next mission. The Hidden Rain.

Hitori had never heard of the village, but it did not sound pleasing to him. The mere mention of the name gave Hitori a queasy feeling in his gut. It sounded gloomy, but what was truly disturbing was the reminder that this war would send them far from home on a mission of conquest. A vile conquest. A disgusting goal meant to create war for the sake of the war.

Hitori nearly threw up, but he somehow managed to contain his disgust, but keeping it bottled up inside him didn’t help either. Hitori worried it made it worse.

The Uzumaki boy smiled at Komori, bowing lightly and waving to everyone. “Goodbye,” he said, retrieving his scroll. The Uzumaki took a deep breath as he went to take it. Hitori examined the scroll, and he read over it, hearing Komon’s footsteps grow further and further away. A droplet of moisture pelted the parchment. Hitori looked up to the sky in search of rain clouds, but there were none. There was only moist face. The Uzumaki sniffled, wiping away his tears and he began to slowly roll up the scroll. “I’ll survive this war, mother,” he said, strengthening his grip on the scroll. “I’ll… I’ll…”

HItori’s grip loosened as he looked back through the woods. His comrades had disappeared, and we was alone once more. The forest became dark, and the sounds of the cicadas, frogs, and crickets filled the air in a low uproar. The forest, despite the smell, was teeming with life. Hitori could not help but wonder how long this would last. If this war sends us all off the go fight… who will be here to protect the village? Hitori looked towards the main village, eyeing in the direction of the Kage’s chambers. Suddenly, his face became red with anger. “You don’t deserve this village,” Hitori spat.

The Uzumaki’s sharp scowl slowly softened, and he began to trudge through the woods. Night had taken them over completely now, and, despite the thickness of the trees, the stars were still visible. The moonlight shined through the trees in streams of light, as if angels had filled the forest with a beautiful and pure white light. It was fantastic, in a way, and the bright light shined off of the genin’s headband, illuminating the air around him in gold. It bounced off of his hair and jacket, and Hitori gave a slight smile, looking up through the trees into the night.

Hello, Mother. We haven’t talked for a while, but I.. I need your help. If you can. You see, there’s a war starting, and I.. well.. the war’s wrong. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what I can do. But I know I don’t want to. Is that a choice? Maybe. I just… I need your help. If you’re listening. Please.

There was no reply, but Hitori was used to this. He still hoped as he walked through the last bit of forest and onto the sidewalks of the village.
