"You're right, most of the time I've tried to channel chakra without my hand seals, I'll try again and see how I'll do," Sora responded to Komori as more clones appeared. The boy grinned as he dodged many attacks, even though he knew they wouldn't hurt him, this would be good for training his reflexes.

The Uzumaki rolled to the side to avoid what would've been his head being smashed in - or would've been smashed in if they weren't a Genjutsu - by two fists locked together. The boy hopped backward in zig-zags to get some distance as he focused on his chakra flow. He needed to somehow cover himself in chakra and then clear it, erasing Komori's chakra, or in better words, Genjutsu.

It had seemed to come easily to him, with all the practice on Chakra Barrier he focused on his chakra and exploded it outwards, the Genjutsu appearing almost as fast as it had been created.

Sora turned towards Komori but once again he was speaking. The pale Genin nodded at the Hozuki as he explained the reason behind the spar, Sora hadn't even got to try his Chakra Barrier yet so he just smiled and nodded.

"Before we begin let's activate our Chakra Barriers. Yours will be stronger than mine, since you have more chakra from what I can sense, and even though the technique is an A-Rank it will stay break from a good hit. I know it's ironic for me to be saying this but avoid killing shots please, we might die in the war anyways," Sora explained to the Hozuki with a small and rather depressed look on his face.

He ran through four regular hand seals and then hit himself in the chest once again, the defensive seal - which you could tell by just looking at it - activated on his bare skin, like most of his other Fuinjutsu.

"Let's go, even though you're stronger than me I'll try my hardest," Sora said with a look of utter determination on his face. This war was messing with lots of his emotions, his eyes would seem sterner, his personality seemed darker, and all-in-all he was ready to die.

Sora would wait for Komori to activate his barrier and then signal him with his hands to start the battle.

Komori chuckled at the rather morbid joke that the boy had made. In an attempt to cheer up the obvious depressed genin, the chuunin then decided to compliment the Uzumaki on one of his stronger assets, “You have to have more faith in yourself, you know. I’ve seen those chakra chains of yours in action, they should be able to provide a pretty good defense for yourself if you can keep them up.” Komori went through the four handseals once more as he placed the seal on the skin of his forearm, allowing it to spread from his body from that point on to cover the rest of his skin. He would then allow the barrier to encompass him before kicking things off. He was aware of how much weaker the boy was in comparison to him, but he also knew about the dangers of his Uzumaki chains. It was reasonable to assume that the boy had trained the even more since the hospital, so the chuunin would probably have to be extra careful to not accidentally get his ass kicked by a genin. Komori pulled out the Tsubasa sword from his right side, leaving the other one sheathed for now as he gripped the hilt with two hands. He then used the simpler form of chidori katana, as he had not been approved for that yet but timeline wise he knew it, lightning release: chakra blade. This increased his sword’s sharpness from 100 to 120 and increased its health to 110 as lightning surrounded the blade itself, however, the flat of the blade would not become sharper and would still be able to be used for deflection without harming the Uzumaki. In foresight, actually, since this would be occurring before the event of battle, Komori unsheathed his other Tsubasa sword as well, also infusing it with lightning chakra. This way, he would have two blades capable of blocking those damned chakra chains. He would then begin walking in an arc around the boy, seeing what he would do before he struck out with the swords.

Sora narrowed his eyes as he saw Komori stalking forward. Since I'm not a dick that likes to vague the Hozuki would be walking at half of his actual speed [Speed: 63 (rounded)], those blades looked dangerous, especially with lightning chakra coated in them, if Sora didn't do something those blades would cut right through the chakra coat and his body. Since he had drawn his weapons Sora would draw his own two kunai. [Speed: 75]

He'd waste no time at running backward. It seemed as if everytime Sora sparred he'd need to retreat backward, but if hoped to assist his close-quarter-combats with Ninjutsu, Fuinjutsu, and Medical Jutsu (which he had summarized he had wanted) then he needed to keep retreating and shooting.

The boy would put his kunai back in the holster, Komori would probably be confused that he'd drawn the weapons then retreated, so it'd give him enough time to perform his hand seals and shoot his jutsu. [Speed: 75]

One of his signature C-Rank Fire Ninjutsu, Great Fireball, he put the last hand seal to his mouth quickly, as the technique only required two hand seals, and then blasted a condensed stream of fire aimed right for Komori. [Power: 40 | Speed: 40] The great part about that jutsu was the fact that it could be used in two different ways. If your opponent has experienced it they'd have to decide which one it is.

So with that thought, and from point-blank, Komori would either have to jump over the jutsu, move to the side, or get hit. It wouldn't be hard considering he'd have full speed. So as soon as he shot the Great Fireball he started running through new hand seals.

"Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger," Sora muttered. [Speed: 75] The six fireballs would shoot out of his mouth. He'd split three fireballs down where the fire stream was so if he dodged to either side they'd hit him. If he dodged again he'd turn them ninety-degrees and follow him. [Power: 40 | Speed: 40]

With his new technique that he learned from Komori, Mass Shift, he'd trip Komori up after using one Rat hand seal. He'd probably still be in full speed but Sora's reaction time would be able to handle it.

If he'd gotten a hold of his foot he'd go backward with it so Komori would face plant hard into the ground, especially if he was running at his full speed. If any of the fire hit him his Chakra Barrier would be damaged, but not fully broken, unless both hit him. [Health of Komori's Chakra Barrier: 75]

Sora would continue to move backward, to see what the Chuunin could do.

Komori’s body was imbued with electricity as he activated lightning javelin also at a speed of 185. He then began to knead water nature chakra in his stomach once he witnessed the boy performing handseals with his new reaction time of 215. He would then be forced to drop his swords to the ground and sign Tiger → Snake → Rat → Snake → Tiger at a speed of 155 as he blasted out a wall of water in front of his person five meters ahead of him at a speed of 70. The water wall would have a health of 70, meaning that it could easily tank the boy’s jutsu. He did not fully trust the chakra barrier quite yet, and as such, did not want to risk getting hit. At the same time, Komori would cause a puddle of water to form at his feet and 15 separate water balloons to rise from the ground. He was more than capable of noticing if any phoenix fireballs would either smash into his wall of water, or dodge it. Should they head towards him, he would merely send a water balloon at them at a matching speed of 40 and a power of 40. They would cancel each other out as Komori prepared his counter assault. He would start by sending the remaining 9 water balloons towards Sora while also signing Dragon → Tiger → Hare also at a speed of 155. Water would gush from Komori’s mouth as the water wall fell to the ground, leaving a puddle behind as Komori sent a cone of water, not at Sora, but at the ground at a speed of 40. While Sora was countering the water balloons, Komori would sign the 11 handseals due to the intensity of his chakra for the Water Dragon Bullet technique at a speed of 155. Using the water source he had just created, Komori created a water shaped dragon with a power of 75 that would be launched at Sora. It had a health of 50 and would be hurtling towards the Uzumaki at a speed of 75.

Whoa, Komori was doing great, so Sora just had to do better. Sora didn’t have time to think as he pulled out his kunai and deflected each one of them. The boy’s eyes widened as he saw Komori running through the eleven hand seals he was quite familiar with. The Uzumaki was still in movement as the Water Dragon was flung at him, both of their speeds equal, giving Sora enough time to clumsily throw all of his body weight to the side. He hit the ground, rolling before he jumped up, all the momentum now gone as he was reduced to half his speed. The fire wasn’t going to do anything against the Hozuki, his whole bloodline was based on water!

“Boar → Ram → Snake → Horse → Dragon," Sora muttered. The boy slammed his hands on the ground, where the water dragon had left a trail, and electricity burst out traveling down the water. If this reached all the way it would hit the water wall, destroying it since the fireball had weakened it. [Power: 50 | Speed: 50] The boy pulled out a kunai and encased it in Lighting Release: Chakra Blade and Raiton: Kunai Cutter.

During all the commotion of water exploding and becoming electrocuted he'd throw the kunai directly at Komon's blades, hoping to distract him and he'd pick the blade up to defend it from being broken. [Speed of Kunai: 93 | Sharpness of Kunai: 143]With that in his mind, ten chakra chains sprouted out of his back, five out of each shoulder blade, and then rushed forward.

Komori had already hopped back from the water wall, so as it was electrocuted and fizzled, it was of no consequence to his own well being. It was at this moment that he noticed a kunai which appeared to be traveling at a speed faster than any technique the boy had tried to use against him. He turned into a puddle at a speed of 215 as he dropped to the ground and allowed the kunai to sail over his head and impale a tree trunk. He would then look towards the tree, still in a puddle, and see just how sharp that kunai had been. Komori was not wearing armor, and even then, the damage to the tree showing that the kunai could still have hurt the Hozuki if he were. He felt a little uneasy about this, but knew that the boy did not mean to attempt murder. Maybe he should stick to dull kunai during practice matches though. Komori would reform at a speed of 215 as well as he used the ram seal to body flicker directly in front of the boy at a speed of 255. He’d wink at him as his entire body turned into a puddle once again at a speed of 215. However, this time, his hydrificated self would target the Uzumaki’s head as his own body now surrounded Sora’s head, which would presumably stop the boy from running as he was now faced with the sensation of being drowned.

The kunai wasn't aimed for Komori at all. He had dropped his swords on the ground so he aimed the kunai for them, let's just say thanks to poor aim on Sora's part he had missed the blades completely. The boy had no idea what had just happened, the boy transformed into water, and then disappeared? The only notification was the water, or you could say Komori, wrapping around his head and blocking oxygen from him.

Was this sexual in any way? What part of Komori's body was touching him? Should he be honestly worried about this? He didn't have time to question the Hozuki's BL now that he was gasping for air.

"I give, I give!" Sora screamed inside the water as his chakra chains dispersed. Hopefully, the Chuunin stopped or else he'd have to take all out standards to get him off and in a flight-or-fight situation things wouldn't end up pretty.

Assuming that Komori had stopped trying to drown him he'd fall to the ground panting before he wiped his mouth, he didn't find that pleasant. He stood up and coughed up a bit, not used to having no oxygen traveling to his lungs, at least he knew he never wanted to drown or experience that sensation again.

"Thanks, Komori," Sora would say in between pants, "Now I have more experience, techniques, and preparation for the war than before." He'd nod towards the Hozuki as he slowly walked away. Even though his friend had helped him he needed more, he needed more power! He turned to a training dummy and glared at it.

"Tiger-Ox-Rat-Bird-Tiger," Sora muttered before a huge flaming ball of chakra flew out of his mouth and hit the straw mannequin causing an explosion. He nodded in glee before he continued to walk away.

Since Komori was a nice guy, he accepted the blubbering admittance of defeat from the Uzumaki that he was currently suffocating to death. There was also no sexual contact, for the record. “That’s what comrades are for, Sora. If you’d ever like to train again, you know without the drowning, let me know sometime.” With that he smiled as the two parted ways, Komori running off somewhere else to train some more because it seemed like he was all over the place training with various people.
