Komon seemed to be finding himself in this position a lot lately and he wasn’t particularly fond of it. His eye’s would slowly open to allow the light of the world to shine through, only to met with a blinding blur that frankly gave him a headache. Putting his hands over his eyes he’d slam his head back into whatever it was he was laying on. “How did I get here?” He’d think to himself as he recollected his memories. And that’s when it came back to him. The strange swordsman he had fought… Apparently he had spared the Hyuuga. Komon didn’t know how to feel, he supposed he should be grateful. After all the Hyuuga had to much to do at the moment and simply could not afford to die.
At this point he would notice that he didn’t seem to be wearing a shirt, although his eyes were closed, he could feel the gentle breeze of the amegakure wind against his skin. At this moment he’d open his eyes again, this time slowly and allowing them to adjust. Looking around he’d see that he was surrounded by white cloth, draping from a thin metal frame, and could make out the inside of the stitching of a giant red cross on the ceiling. “Medical Tent… Ok” He’d say as he gripped his ribcage where the man had left quite a bruise.
He’d wince in pain as he lifted himself off what seemed to be a hospital cot, and brought himself to his feet. And was quite curious to see how long he had been out and whether or not his brother and reizo had arrived to the battlefront. Using the hand that wasn’t holding onto his bruised ribs he’d lift the fold of the opening to the tent to reveal the outside world. The camp seemed pretty much the same, and as his byakugan flickered on to see whether or not he could find his brothers or reizo’s chakra signature he would see that they had not yet arrived. “Figures as much” His inner voice would comment.
Limping around he’d look for some form of jounin, or hell even another chuunin to give him a rundown on what had happened since he passed out. Did they capture the man he had fought? The status of the battle in the hidden rain? How long had he been out? All questions that needed answers and that he was sure someone had. He probably could have asked a nurse in the medical tent if there had been one, but there wasn’t. Probably due to the fact that he had simply suffered a beating, and there where people losing limbs all over the place, that desperately needed medical attention more than himself.
Komon couldn’t help but wonder if the man who had so confidently attacked him at the outpost could be on Amegakure side. He quickly shook his head at the idea however as then it would have made little to no sense to leave the chuunin alive. As his head continued to fill itself to the brim with questions his eyes would focus on a jounin down in the middle of the outpost who seemed to be watching the gate intently. Apparently they had decided to up security a bit since his incident.
“Hey! You!” Komon would exclaim trying to get the man’s attention. The jounin would turn and give a surprised response in return to his shouts. “You’re up already?” He’d ask slightly confused. Komon made a mental note that that probably answered his last question. Not long apparently. “What happened to the man that attacked me?” He’d ask not answering the man's question as the fact that he was walking would clearly do that itself.
“He ran off and nobody caught a glimpse of him… Sorry kid” He’d state back. The words bit at Komon in a way that he couldn’t particularly explain. He desperately wanted to know more about this man and how he had so easily beaten him. He didn’t quite understand how the man had made him so slow, but he gandered that it was some kind of genjutsu, everything happened so fast he couldn’t be particularly sure tho. “Alright… Well when do I ship out to rain?” He’d ask as the jounin seemed to turn his head and point forward.
“Well it looks like you won’t have too, he’d say with his finger extended towards the gate. From the distance Komon could make out several jounin and a few chuunin walking victoriously with the kumogakure flag raised high, and the largest jounin who looked a bit like a brute, was covered in blood that looked to be a mixture of his own and several other victims. Nonetheless he wore a huge grin on his face as his arm extended into the air gripping the long hair of the decapitated that Komon instantly recognized as the man they had been ordered to capture or kill. The daimyo of the hidden rain. Apparently Komon had been unconscious long enough to miss the conclusion to the battle of the hidden rain.
Turning his head away from the brutish sight he'd turn his head towards the ground. To brandish a kill like that as if it where some kind of trophy disgusted the Hyuuga boy. If you managed to beat an opponent and kill them, their bodys should be shown the upmost respect in his mind. Not presented to a crowd to display your victory. "What's next" He'd think to himself, not particularly expecting an answer to his question to present itself.

War....what is it good for? Absolutely everything.........
Maku watched as the squad of fighters exited the village. His orders to the kill squads had been to behead each daimyo. He had felt at the time it would be the biggest symbol to any and all who may challenge the kumo take overs. Literally removing the brains of the countries leaving them without thought or direction....sans his own. Two down, 1 to go. Yet these villages were not the ones that were going to make the biggest impact. These where nothing but Childs play. It was as he watched from the mud and the blood that he considered this.
2/3rds his army now stood on boarders of victory. There was still clean up, still outposts and infrastructure to build, yet the next expansion still laid upon the horizon. Sipping his drink table he appeared almost like that of a chunin, or a lower ranked jounin. Nothing stood out, except that he didn't look as excited as everyone else. He had snuck into camp and simply mingled in this way with his army. He was pleased to see moral, pleased to see that his idea had meant something. These people had lost so much when Youka had taken over, and right or wrong he had given them something to do. Something to be proud of, a purpose. That was something everyone needed, idle hands lay so dangerous, but more so when someone with a purposes places a sword in them.
For an hour he let the men do as they pleased. Simply observing. The head was lost, discarded in the mud, to return to the earth that would consume them all in due time. Finishing his third drink, Maku finally stood. With a slight crack he vanished to reappear some ways off. Appearing on one of the last standing walls in the area, his appearance would seem different. As he had done before he would shroud himself in the golden fire of his susanoo. His mask off and the full impact of his chakra pressing against every chakra sense in a mile radius.
"Victory......that is what you have had. That is all that we have had, and that is all that we will have!!!" He would shout, his chakra pulsing, his display of power filling the area with a euphoric feeling. None matched the rawness of his chakra in the area, which only caused him to stand out the more. This showmanship, it was something he enjoyed. It was like wearing a mask, playing a game. It was fun. "This is nothing, we can do so much more. Our brothers and sisters have already taken Yuki for us, discarding the head of the nation. Now we move forward. We move to a greater place of respect and power!"
His voice continued to cut through the area. He had one place in mind that would do. One place to throw so many eager faces at. He also had one ally, and it had only one noticeable neighbor. He doubted he'd gain their assistance, and yet he may still have opportunity to force it. "The documents of our war are being dispersed. To those who go with me, your deaths are likely, your honor as a warrior assured. Those we leave behind, you will make for a fine homecoming celebration. The time has come to wake up the world. Then we shall see what is said.."
He would step down from the platform, and as he started to walk through the crowd he would simply vanish. Documents where soon passed out, mission orders being dispersed as fast as possible. The fastest runners already moving towards Yuki, Kumo, and Taki. Summoning one more army made from the three tactical teams and the remaining guard. Written was the name of their next destination. For anyone not named, they had one mission. The fortification of Kumogakure lands, and to die on them before surrender.

As the men walked through the gates displaying the heads of the men they killed a familiar and overwhelming chakra would manifest itself in the center of the camp. It appeared that the makukage had arrived on the amegakure front. And was here to rally the troops of kumogakure for another attack while praising them for their victory. His silver tongue would be met with thunderous applause and loud chanting could be heard ringing throughout the camp at the end of each and every one of his sentences.
Maku was quite the motivational speaker, even after knowing what he had done to senshi, and reizo and max he still found himself being slightly swayed by the man’s speech. His promises were great, and his words rang strongly with confidence throughout the air. Every Once in awhile he seemed to power up his chakra just to emphasize his words, which went a long way in building the troops confidence in their ability to replicate the tasks he laid out before them.
Amegakure was little more than a warm up in this man's eyes, he wanted more. Craved more, and although the rest of the camp didn’t seem to see it. Komon did, this was a risky move and the man knew it, he was willing to throw all of kumo at a single target that potentially outweighed them for little more than the thrill of battle. Komon, Sa Kana, Komori, Reizo… They were all just pawns his giant game of chess.
Finally the speech seemed to conclude itself and the man would vanish, his last command was simply for the mission leaders and higher ranking officials to prepare for their next destination, not sharing the details with the entirety of the rest of the camp, no he’d leave that for the higher ranking officials, it was a better suited task for someone of their rank in his eyes. Maku was a figurehead, although he’d fight, and was undoubtedly the strongest of the shinobi in youka’s kumogakure army… Komon wasn’t to sure on how he felt about him as a leader.
Waiting to ensure the man was gone and that the speech was resolved he’d begin to walk up to the nearest jounin. The man looked troubled, and visibly uneasy, which quickly spread to Komon himself. The target obviously wasn’t going to be some broken into rubble city, but would most likely be a much harder task. Asking for a confirmation to his suspicions he’d ask nothing more than. “Where is it?” with an ominous tone in his voice.
The man would simply extend the paper, the words transcribed on it sending a slight chill down his spine. Maku was certainly aiming high, that was for sure. Nodding to the man, he’d turn his head and move back towards his tent, where he assumed Sakana would be. Instead he’d find only a note, that the boy had left for him while he was unconscious. Lifting the frail paper up to his face he’d unfold the parchment and his eyes would scan across the contents of the page. The interior contents of the letter warmed his heart, it seemed at least that sakana had caught a lucky break and wouldn’t be involved in this final assault.
The interior of the letter was sakana explaining to him, that he had waited patiently beside him for several hours before he had received orders from the higher ups that it was his time to head home. A welcome bit of information as he wouldn’t want the gennin to experience the fight that was to come. In order to survive Komon might be forced to do some morally questionable things, an aspect he wouldn’t want his gennin to know about him. Deep down, Komon was a survivor.. He had to be to ensure no harm would come to his last remaining family member, he had made it his life's goal to protect his brother and nothing would get in the way of it.
He’d do whatever he had to do to survive the bloodshed that was to come of this attack and as he opened the nightstand and was relieved to see that the nurses had carried his equipment back to his tent. Looking at the interior he would notice one specific item was missing. That item would be his fucking wallet of course. It seemed that while the missing nin had spared him it had come at the cost of all his savings. “Fuck” He’d think to himself as put on the rest of his gear. Ensuring that the assimilate necklace and shinigami rested on his body and that his suit of armor baransu, covered the entirety of his identity.
Now that he was geared up and ready to go he had one last task to do. Maku, was sending runners to every village but Komon doubted any of them could move faster than the telepathy seal that senshi had given him and the rest of the chuunin back home. He might as well give them a heads up, so that they could make an early leave. Sending chakra to the seal that rested behind his left ear he’d project his thought outwards, with as much chakra as he could supply. He had never attempted a communication from such a long range, but according to senshi it worked globally.
“Guy’s it’s Komon, you took a bit too long to reach Amegakure so I’m gonna fill you in on what’s happened. I fought some unknown ninja and lost… He knocked me unconscious but for some reason let me live. I don’t know why. That’s the minor news. The big news is that kumogakure has successfully captured both Amegakure and Yukigakure, and now on Maku’s orders we're mobilizing the majority of kumogakure army towards our last and final goal, they’re sending runners there to bring you this very information as we speak but I figured I should give you guys a head start….
