"Borrowing" Komorgi

After all this time since he got back from Ame, Sakana realized that he never checked to see if his friend Komori was still in the village or if he had been shipped out for the war. If he was around it would be really great if he could teach him more water style techs as he was progressing in his chuunin exams.
Determined to find out whether the chuunin was still around the Meijin got out of bed on this Saturday morning and went to give Komori a surprise visit at his house.
Throwing on his bright blue t- Shirt and his shorts he headed out the door. As he started out the door he came to the realization that he was in the middle of the busy city during rush hour and walking to his friend's house would take way longer than he wanted. So he grabbed his painter set on the way out the door, and started to draw a hawk. The gennin would never get over his fear of flight but continuously riding on the dumb bird made things a little bit better.
Once he mounted the hawk he would head towards Komori's house in anticipation of seeing his friend, and to see if maybe Komon had returned. On the way over Sakana started to think about what techniques he wanted to learn, exploding colliding wave was high on his list so he would ask Komori if he knew it when he saw him, if the hozuki did not know the jutsu he would simply ask Komori to just teach him something else.
Upon arriving at the house Sakana would hop off his bird and walk up to the door. The feeling of nervousness over took him, he had no reason to be nervous but that didn't help when the anxiety infested his body. Thoughts raced through his head of what he would tell Komori about the war, maybe the fact that he had gotten to explore a new place or tell him of how he waited all night in the hospital for Komon to wake up.
But sadly none of this happened. The was no respond when the Meijin knocked on the door, no heartfelt reunion between the two, no training, nothing. The gennin was about to turn around and go home defeated when he heard a noise at the door. Was it a bark? It couldn't've been a dog. Neither Komon nor Komori had owned a dog the last time he had been here.
Then once again he heard another bark, now he was curious. The door was locked so he couldn't get inside that way, but was the window locked? He'd walk around to the side of the building and started to lift the window. Since it was unlocked he had an easy entry into the house.
After entering from the window he would walk around the house looking for a dog, since he had never actually been inside he has no clue where anything was inside. He wondered around until he seemed to enter what seemed like the kitchen. The first thing he noticed was a dog bowl, inscribed on it was the word Komorgi. Almost instantly when his foot hit the kitchen floor he had been attacked by the Tiny dog who must have been hiding in the other room. Well, in the moment it had seemed like he had been attacked but in reality the little guy was just excited to see someone. He started to jump up and down, barking the bark that all little dogs seem to posses.
Sakana had never owned a dog so he didn't really know what to do, so he knelt down and started to pet the dog. The little guy started to lick his hand over and over again. Did Komori really just leave this dog behind? Who knows how long he'd be gone for. The gennin, in that moment made his decision, he was going to take the dog to live with him until the Hozuki came to reclaim him, so he didn't think the dog was stolen, Sakana decided to leave a note.
"Dear Komori,
I am writing this note to inform you that, I am going to be taking care of your dog until you return. He'll be safe at my house.
-Sakana"
The Meijin would go ahead and and pick up the dog, he was a little cubby which meant that Komori must've been feeding him entirely too much. After picking up the dog bowl with his new fiends name on it, Sakana and Komorgi would head to the pet store in town to get the dog some pet food, a new harness and a leash.
