It worked. Kotsuzui throwing the fuma shuriken towards Han forced him to use what technique he was preparing to use to block the weapon. He watched Han slap his hands onto the ground sending forth a stream of water in the direction of the shuriken. About five meters way from both Han and Kotsuzui, the water lifted into the air turning into ice as he caught the Fuma shuriken dead in its tracks. "So he was planning on using that on me to trap me in ice" Kotsuzui said to himself. At half strength, he had still thrown the shuriken hard enough to break through the ice. But Han had managed to slow it down just enough for him to retrieve it and end it back to Ryou who placed it onto his back once again. That was probably a wise decision, he couldn't afford to have Kotsuzui use his own weapon again them again. 

He looked over in Ryou's direction as he felt a surge of chakra coming from there. It was coming from Ryou, but the first thing he saw was Zak running towards him with his hands glowing yellow with some sort of jutsu Kotsuzui was unfamiliar with. It seemed Ryou had activated some kind of jutsu which basically increased his chakra by a large amount making it the strongest chakra signature on the training grounds at the moment, also adding a red tint to the color of his skin. Then he saw Ryou create two blades from the palm of his hands, very similar to the technique Kotsuzui used to create his bone sword except that Ryou could not extract these bones from his body.

While Ryou was creating the two bone blades, Kotsuzui slapped his hands and then followed by slapping them onto the ground. At that moment Zak would feel the ground shift under his as the earth lowered deeper into the ground. Zak now found himself in a 10 meter deep hole that was five meters wide, assuming he did not jump away before the earth lowered itself (earth moved down at a speed of 20). Still knelt down from having slapped the ground Kotsuzui proceeded to forming a set of hand seals, Rat and Boar, creating a four foot long blue frisbee in his right hand. As Ryou charged at him seeming to be a lot faster than he was before, must have been that jutsu he used earlier that increased his chakra. Just as Ryou was in arms length, Kotsuzui took a side step to the left (speed 125, RT 185) dodging Ryou's protruding bone weapon that was seemed to have been aimed at Kotsuzui's right side. Now with Ryou directly in front of him, Kotsuzui threw the frisbee right into his chest. Upon contact Ryou would feel some strange force pulling on him. The force would lift him up off his feet pulling him in any direction at a maximum of 10 meters. Lo and behold, Han was 10 meters away. Since Kotsuzui had side stepped Ryou's attack there was now a clear path right towards Han. Ryou would be flung right at Han at a speed of 40. If Han did not dodge, there may be an accident with those two blades Ryou had protruding from his hands

The way the above jutsu works is that if your strength is less than the power of the jutsu (40), your speed is reduced by 20 and i choose where I pull you. You only get the +20 to strength if you're attacking with your bones (for future reference). So when i hit you with the frisbee your strength was still 20.

Han successfully threw Ryou's shuriken back at him and he sees Ryou's skin turn red and bone blades appear. He then looks at Zak who was using a lightning jutsu to attack Kots. He watches as the both of them charge at Kots at the same time. Suddenly, Kots crouches down and a hole is formed under Zak. At the same time a blue frisbee-like shape appears in Kots's hand and he side steps Ryou's attack before pushing the frisbee into him and launching him towards Han. Han quickly side steps Ryou and started to think hard. He's beginning to panic and his heart rate is fast. 'Ok, ok. I need to find a way to hit him without getting too close. I need to find a way to make sure he can't counter it. Come on, think. Think! Wait, Water Dragon Whip seems like the right move to use. It's fast and long range and I can help my team mates at the same time. Ok, is there any water around? No. Fuck me. Ok, I can work with this. I just need to create a water source. I didn't want to use this but the Rain Tiger at Will technique is my only option. I should probably hide too.' He thinks to himself. He quickly performs the hand seals and releases his chakra into the moisture in the air. Suddenly, rain begins to fall and pour from the sky and Han disappears from sight. The rain stretched over an entire mile.

Zakari saw out of the corner of his eye Ryou charge towards Kots as well. Maybe, the two on one scenario would help them out. He would never get to find out, because underneath his feet he could the ground beginning to shift. The ground began to lower around him, and he scrambled to reach the edge of the forming hole. He almost reached the edge, but could not make it quick enough. He fell in, and found himself in the newly formed hole.

Without thinking, Zak quickly began to scramble up against dirt wall and climb up the hole. He could no longer see what was going on in the battle, and to make matters worse. All of a sudden, it started raining. The dirt in the hole was getting wet and turning muddy in texture. If he did not get out quick, then it would only become more difficult to get out. Finally, his mind figured out what he should have done from the beginning. He focused the chakra into his feet, and ran up the wall as fast as he could (7). If he made it to the top of the hole, he would have leaped out, back into the battle, quickly surveying what was going on to see what was going on.

Ryou was surprised that the jutsu Kots used on him, what ever it was it was cool. Admiration had to wait though cause Ryou was heading towards Hans. Lucky for Hans, he dodged, but Ryou kept going and hit the ground, only scraping Ryou's knees and getting his clothes dirty, nothing bad. He gets up from this quickly and returned his bone back into his body. As he did so it began to rain. The rain reminded him of what Kots said to him at the gates, that he might see some rain. "I guess you were right about the rain, Kots." He called. Then he infused chakra into his hand into a three foot, near invisible, Blade of wind. His other jutsu, wind rejuvenation, was still on but flicker movement was over and everything went back to normal speed. With the blade of wind he threw three crescent shaped blades that were about two inches (60 speed 60 power(sharpness)). Ryou's plan was to give Hans enough time to use the jutsu in mind.

Han was quick enough to dodge the on-coming Ryou as he flew right at him. As a result Ryou simply fell to the ground before getting back up to his feet and retracting the two bone blades extruding from his palms. Roughly around the same time Kotsuzui saw Zak with the help of the vibrations he created doing so, simply walk himself out of the hole Kotsuzui had just put him in. As it stood, the Kaguya was still being flanked by the trio of Genin. Ryou and Han were in front of him while Zak was behind him. Maybe it was part of the plan they discussed earlier to make sure at least one of the were always flanking Kotsuzui. If so that would have been smart, forcing the Kaguya to always have to keep an eye out for what was to come from bot ahead of him as well as behind.

"If you guy's plan on completing the task at hand you're going to have to improve your team work" Kotsuzui began with a slight grin on his face. "You have to take it like a mission. Failure is not an option!" he'd finish. What he told them may have provoked them, but the point was to make them go all out otherwise they'd never complete the task at hand. Also, it was to enforce that they needed to come together and become a stronger team if they wished to hit the Kaguya. 

Shortly after Kotsuzui glanced over to Han as he began a set of hand seals for a jutsu. Shortly after rain clouds began forming over the training grounds as it began to pour down onto the four shinobi. "Not this goddamn jutsu again" Kotsuzui would say to himself as he knew exactly what was coming next. Twice he had gone on a mission where the enemy shinobi created rain and following by hiding within the rain. And what do you know, Han slipped away into his own jutsu. "Bugger". Not only could he no longer see or sense Han since his chakra was now mixed into the rain which also consisted of his chakra, but he could no longer use his Earth Sight. With all the vibrations the rain drops were creating from hitting the ground, Kotsuzui could no longer create a clear picture of hi surrounding area. Han single-handedly took out Kotsuzui's 'third eye' with out even knowing it. With a chuckle, Kotsuzui replied to Ryou by saying "this is fake rain."

Next Ryou made his move as he created some kind of wind weapon in between his hands and proceeded to throwing three of the wind blades. Judging from the speed of the weapons as they cut though the rain, Kotsuzui could tell it was a pretty strong jutsu, which was foolish of Ryou to throw at Kotsuzui like that. With Zak only about 10 meters behind Kotsuzui, if he dodged the wind blades they'd head straight for him. Instead of dodging them, Kotsuzui pulled out the bone sword (health of 70) he created earlier swinging it in front of him to parry all three wind blades. Next, Kotsuzui turned and bolted towards Zak. With his left hand he grabbed Zak's left wrist, moved behind him twisting Zak's left arm behind and up his back (like a cop would do) and followed by placing the point of his bone sword against the front of Zak's neck. Basically, Zak was Kotsuzui's captive now. If he tried moving, he risked being stabbed in the neck (which Kotsuzui obviously wouldn't actually do, but Zak does not know) or dislocating his left shoulder, which could actually happen.

This was a part of the test on their teamwork. Often in missions the weakest link is targeted by the enemy to force the others to react accordingly. Unfortunately, that was Zak. Also, with the 10 meter deep hole behind Kotsuzui that he created moments earlier, if Han was planing to strike Kotsuzui he would have to reveal himself somewhere else besides behind the Kaguya otherwise he'd fall into the hole. Unless he used a long ranged attack, then he could appear on the opposite end of the hole. Taking that into account Kotsuzui peeked behind him for a brief second every now and then in case that did happen.

Zakari watched in amazement as both of his teammates produced some really impressive jutsu. At least, judging by what Kots just said. Hans was the one making it rain. Once again, Zak's inadequacies were made obvious to him. He was far below any of these ninja. Just to prove his point, Ryou released three blades of wind. The young genin, Zakari, barely even had time to understand that these blades were a danger to him, when Kots deflected all three of them.

Next, Zak expected Kots to attack Ryou, or go find Han. Unfortunately for him, Kots must have came to the same conclusion that Zak did earlier. Which was, Zakari was the weakest link. He did not even have time to act before Kotsuzui was upon. With a quick motion, Zak felt his arm wrenched behind him and a sharp point against his throat. Zakari was sure about one thing now, he really did have the worse of luck.

He really did not have many options that he could perform. The guy that was holding a blade to his throat was faster, stronger, and just about more everything. He was afraid to breath much less move. His only hope was for his teammates. He did not know what to expect from his teammates, but he was hoping for something good. He was not disappointed. He watched a whip made of water came from above. He could not see all of them, but he saw some of them reach out for his body. He sure hoped this was his teammates doing, otherwise this would be extremely scary.

As he held Zak there, Ryou refused to make a move. Either he was to worried of making a mistake and putting Zak in harm or he was waiting for the sneaky Han to make a move. It was probably the latter. Suddenly Kotsuzui sensed Han's chakra coming from behind him. It was difficult to grasp the entire signature of his chakra since the rain also contained his chakra and was falling all around them. But the moment Han activated his jutsu, his chakra began surging through his body thus making it easier to detect him. He had decided to enter the hole Kotsuzui created. Kotsuzui knew that with the rain Han could pretty much create a jutsu anywhere he wanted to, which put him in a bit of a sticky situation. Anyone who could sense chakra would also sense a small surge in Kotsuzui's chakra moments after Han's surged. Zak looking up at one of the water whips caught Kotsuzui's attention as he too looked up at what Zak was looking at. By then it was too late and one of the water whips landed square on Kotsuzui's head as he released Zak. The three Genin would believe that they had successfully completed the task of landing a hit on Kotsuzui, for the brief moment.

The surge of chakra that had gone through Kotsuzui's body was the use of the substitution jutsu. Due to not being aware of where Han's jutsu would be coming from, he simply prepare for it to come from everywhere and replaced himself with one of the training logs. Having mastered the jutsu, he didn't need and seals to use it. He would explode into a puff of smoke behind Zak as he was replaced with a training log. About 15 meters to Zak's right (Ryou's left), they would find Kotsuzui walking towards them bone sword in hand and grin on his face. He slipped his bone sword back through his belt under his white cloak before speaking. "That was well played. Although hitting a log does not count as getting a hit" he finished. He could now see where the jutsu had come from. A ball of water floating in the air above Zak. He stopped just 10 meters shy of the trio.

Kneeling down to the ground, Kotsuzui formed the bird hand seal before placing both his hands against the ground. At that moment, six earth pillars would erupt from the ground all around Han at an angle. Their points were blunt and would not stab Han. They were simply meant to smash into him (speed 40, power 40). With the six pillars being all around him their purpose was simply to pin the Genin on the spot he stood. Next came the rapid succession of six more hand seals before placing his hands upon the ground once more. This time the ground in front of him began cracking and breaking. A few seconds after 10 earth stones 30 centimeters in diameter shot forward from the broken ground. 5 were shot towards Han, the other 5 towards Ryou. The purpose of him using these jutsu were simply to keep the trio on their toes. If Kotsuzui simply stayed back and waited for them to strike it would be too easy for them. Whereas if Kotsuzui would go on the attack everyone now and then it would force them to have to be cautious whenever they made their next plan of attack.

Ryou was first excited that they got him, then he saw that celebration was cut short with it being a log. Ryou had sensory, so he did sense Kots infuse chakra. Then before Kots even spoke, Ryou turned to him. After he spoke he weaved some hand signs. Not thinking anything good could come from that, he pulled off his fuma shuriken from his back. Han seemed to be trapped in a earth style jutsu. Ryou couldn't worry about Han though, 5 stones seemed to be heading towards him. With his speed of 90, he jumped to avoid 4 and hide behind one of the stone him mid air. Using the hidden time, he infused his fuma shuriken with wind style and threw it into the rock (150 sharpness, 80 health, speed 95) , spitting the rock in half and hurling towards Kots's position. The rocks halves would fly past he sides of Ryou. If the fuma shuriken was dodged, then it would land 5 feet behind Kots.
