Training in Kekkai Genkai
Tue Jul 04, 2017 12:15 am
Otsu was watching two kekkai genkai users fight, the fight was very exciting to him. Sparks were flashing everywhere, Ostu thought if he could start controlling his kekkai genkai better maybe he could fight at the level of those two. This fight only added to Ostu's ever filled determination. He gathered what stuff he had and wondered to his favorite training area. Konoha's training grounds, he has noticed he spends a lot of time here training so its kinda like a home to him.
When Ostu got to the training grounds, he walked around. He had no real clue on how is kekkai genkai could help him in battle. Well he knew he could regrow his bones and uses them, but use them how he didn't know. He kept thinking, using bones, able to regrow them and extend them, you could also use them as a weapon. So many ways he thought, this is gonna be more difficult than I thought. Ostu thought of so many ways to use his bones, but nothing spiked his interest.
After deciding that thinking would get him no where, he decided to put his kekkai genkai to the test. He never once used by pushing his bones out of his body, maybe once but he dosent remember, but he knew he could do it. Imagining his bones sprouting from his arm, Ostu saw his bone from his arm emerge, it was still attached to him arm like it was a sword glued to his arm. This gave him the greatest idea he ever had.
Ostu proceeded to grow multiple more bones out of his arm, legs, back, knees, and etc. Doing this he felt like his sense were more heightened. He started to shadow box, before a minute was over the bones went back into his body,. He was already tired from having multiple bones out just for one minute or less!
He regained his energy, and once again thought what to do. Just expelling his bones won't be enough. if a person could react fast enough they could dodge them easily he thought. Well firstly he had to increase how long he could stay with those bones out.
Ostu kept track of his first time using his bones, so when this intense training was over he could see how much he grown. He thought he should break the weakness of his kekkai genkai that it has. Which is the time limit. He decided to keep using the bones while fighting or doing anything active so he could get the feel and the effects of them.
Ostu grew out his bones, and started to run about. If they were to go back inside him, he would pulled them right back out. This training has a very tiresome affect on his body, but he won't stop. After a few hours of doing this training, Ostu was able to hold the bones for 4 to 3 minutes now. He felt very happy with his progression but he was not close on to mastering his kekkai genkai.

Re: Training in Kekkai Genkai

Ostu was once again back in Konoha's training grounds, the breeze moved across his hair making it flutter in the wind. He was going to try to learn more bout his kekkai genkai today, but he believed training and fighting alone wouldn't help with much anymore. He would need help from one of his friends.
"Ostu," Filos said, "When do we start sparring?"
Ignoring the question, Ostu was still in thought about how he could increase the power, defense, and his smarts on this kekkai genkai. He stood there for a few minutes until his friend came and chopped the back of his head.
"Ostu!" Filos yelled, "Could you stop overthinking things, thats most likely why you're struggling to do this training."
He was always harsh , but that my explain why Ostu is having troubles doing this, he just using my intellect nothing else. He probably should test out the basic ideas of his kekkai genkai . Not only just think about.
"Right, Lets start now." Ostu said getting in his fighting stance, "Oh wait, I forgot to tell you what exactly i'm training."
"That doesn't matter right now, lets just start." Filos said rushing at me.
Dont overthink things, rely on smarts and instinct. When he came in for a punch I opened my hand and redirected the punch, then when he was falling I got hold of his other arm to grab him and throw him. He got up quicker than Ostu thought he would and charged straight at him with a kunai.
"Wait! We can used those!" Ostu yelled.
Filos didn't respond he kept charging at him with it. He decided if weapons were allowed he would use his bones. Ostu pulled out one of his bones and started to block all of Filos kunai's attack. Ostu could tell that he was shocked, he never shown any of his friends his kekkai genkai before.
The fight kept dragging on with both of them using their weapons. Taijutsu, bones, and kunais were being used. Ostu wanted to end this fight now but he didn't know how, they were both even and if he stopped attacking he would get hurt. Ostu wasn't sure what happened next, out of no where one both bones from my knees extended and almost stabbed Filos in the stomach.
It looked like Filos lost all the blood in his face. he dropped his kunai and ran all the way home Ostu assumed.
From all of todays even Ostu learned a few things, don't over think something and don't try to almost kill your friend.
What Ostu believed what happened is that his will to fight wanted to end, so his body forced his bones to come out and end the fight. It might of almost killed his friend but he did learn how to have better control on his bones and know when to properly use themw ithout trying to hurt or kill some one now.

Re: Training in Kekkai Genkai

Ostu was running tons of laps around the entire training grounds with his bones out, he wanted to extend his time with them out even more. He can now keep up his bones for a hour or so. He stopped running and wiped his forehead clear of sweat. He started to look around. Tons of thoughts popped in his head. Why is he even training? Is he trying to catch up to someone? This might just be a waste of time, give up.
All these depressing thoughts started to weigh his thoughts down, he wondered why he was doing this still. He almost hurt or killed his friend badly, he has no one to tell about these achievements, since it be pretty weird if you went up to your friend and said, "Hey, I've mastered extending my bones out my body! Wanna see?"
He started to think he should stop, but he did remember why he wanted to train, to be strong enough to confront any enemy that would try to hurt or stop his village. He knew this sounded very cheesy but it was true, after reading about how his clan acted in the past, he wanted to change the image they left upon the world.
Remembering this gave him so much determination to fully master his kekkai genkai, so he started to pretend he was fighting a real person. He would react fast enough to block the attack and then lead with another one, when it seemed like he was going to get punched or attacked he would extend his bone at the perfect time. All of his previous knowledge affected him right now, he would also pretend to take fake punches and kicks, using the force they gave he was able to regain his balance quicker and was able to counter attack faster than they could read or see.
It would seem to others that Ostu was reaching his limit, but he wasn't even close. He decides when his limit is he once read, and he kept on sparring with for a few hours until he started to notice it started to get darker.
He wasn't close to finishing his training though. Out of all the training he did Ostu only focused on learning when to use his bones at the right moment, not in the use of an ninjutsu or taijutsu attack, so he decided it was time to focus on that part of the training.
Otsu began to pretend like countless punches and kicks were getting thrown at him, he used the bones to parry and block incoming attacks, he was unable to be hit at the time he used this method. All of his left over energy was going in on using this method. He knew he was soon reaching his own mental limit as well. He has been focusing on the fake attacks and keeping his body from falling to shambles and him passing out.
He was soon pushing his body to the extremes and couldn't keep it up any longer and dropped to the ground, barely being able to speak or keep his eyes open. He didi a meh sound for a celebration.

Re: Training in Kekkai Genkai

t has been at least two days since Ostu trained in his kekkai genkai, he would of did it sooner but he really didn't have a choice in the matter. He was told to rest in his home for a while until he knew his body had more energy and didn't have any problems anymore.
Ostu sat looking out of his window, wondering and looking back at all the things that had happen in the past week or so. Well of course he started his kekkai genkai training from just watching two users of it fight, might not seem like it was very helpful to start an spark for training, but to Ostu that was a lot. His first part of the training was just to learn how to extend his bones and use them at least at a basic learner level. He accomplished this, but at first he could only have his bones out for a second or so if he could remember. He wrote it down on his notepad but he couldn't get close enough to reach it. He thought he did pretty good on this section of the training since, now he can hold it for 2 hours or less if he pushes himself beyond his limit, but we see what happens if we do that.
After that was when everything changed, in two ways actually. He gotten closer to reaching his goal of finding a better way of using his bones besides just expelling them out of his body and never use them again, and him almost hurting or at least killing a friend. He didn't want to do it, but his body insistingly expelled two bones from his knees when both of them clashing with their weapons. They were so close to his stomach, after that he ran and they never spoke. His family hasn't seemed to notice, might be better like that Ostu thought.
That experience, might of been a success but it was also a failure at the same time. The final thing he could remember is what happened two days, he was working on finishing the jutsu method, he finished it of course, but doing so costed him his body. The way he worded it seemed wrong, like he lost his ability to use taijutsu or something, but what really happened what that he worked his body beyond his limits, which is why he is here right now.
Thinking back at everything he believed he could of did some stuff better, for example the friend thing if he had better control like now then he maybe would of kept a friend. Maybe he should go apologize, but even remembering that moment reminds him of his clan members, he never wanted to be like them so he vowed to himself he wont be like them starting from today.
