Today is the Day [Genin Exam]

The Uzumaki ran towards the Academy as fast as she could, the day for the exam finally upon her. The kunoichi to be had done some rather massive training in the time leading up to the exam and was now, very likely, the strongest student in her class. She had even gotten a grasp on a D rank jutsu even if she had’t quite mastered its use though.  In any case she was going to surely pass this exam with flying colors. She smiled to herself, as she flew past the gates but was stopped by a familiar presence. While she hadn’t had her chakra senses opened long enough to immediately recognize who it was, the person's identity was made clear as Ayana stepped out of the shadow of a tree, her arms crossed. On her head was a ninja headband, clearly having already past her exam. The Uzumaki stopped in her tracks. Was this the part of the test that woman had mentioned? Would she have to fight the blonde to the death?? As her brain jumped to several massive conclusions, Ayana sighed and shook her head. The blonde seemed  embarrassed as she looked up at the Uzumaki. “Good...Good luck Kama. I know you don’t like me too much but if we are gonna be ninja together.. I won’t act like a child and let my pettiness get between us. I know you can pass.”

Kama was definitely taken back by this, the blonde girl rarely saying a word to the Uzumaki much less words of encouragement. The girl played with her hair, a bit a pink as she nodded. “T-Thanks Ayana. I wouldn’t be this strong if it wasn’t for me wanting to surpass you so much.  I really have you to thank for that.”
Ayana smiled a bit sheepishly, nodding at Kama as the Uzumaki gave her a sincere smile and walked through the doors. Within a minute she entered her classroom, ready for her test to begin. She was feeling a bit nervous, but it was looking like whatever that other girl had gone through for her genin test wasn’t something practiced by Hoshigakure. There were no students fighting to the death or anything like that so hopefully it was something easy as just showing off her jutsu. “Kama Uzumaki, reporting for the genin test!”

She’d smile up at the proctor, trying to show no fear or nervousness. Hopefully her days as a ninja truly would start here.

"Gah! Again?" Chad would say as Hikari failed the young 12 year old. "I'm sorry... your clone didn't look anything like you, it was a muscular young adult with wonderful hair.

The boy would look at the Jounin questionably, [color=grey] "Yeah.... sounds right...."

"Also you tried to turn into me.... but you made me have green skin, fat, and with a horrible hair shade."


"Yeah... sounds right?"


The chestnut haired girl would sigh when she heard this. "You know the drill... 3 laps.... around the entire village. Now."


The boy would grumble, as Hikari would call in for the next student. A slight smile would form on her face as she saw the red haired Uzumaki. The Jounin now knew why she had been asked to come in and do these exams even though it was her day off. Probably out of fear that the Uzumaki would throw a fit when she failed, but Hikari wasn't scared of that, she personal trained the girl, so she knew that she was good for this.

The girl would smile, saying "Well Kama... we can began when you want. If you can preform the transformation and clone jutsu, and explain how they can be used."

[OOC: 800 words, GO! Also, sorry, writing this while half asleep.]

Kama would smile happily as she realized the proctor was Hikari, clapping her hands together in joy at the woman who had taught her the exam techniques. “Hikari? I didn’t know you would be the one doing this test! That's really cool!”
She smiled brightly, and began adjusting her outfit slightly in nervousness, wanting to show the jonin that she had trained and mastered these jutsu the best she absolutely could. It wouldn’t do if her attempts to use them showed a lack of training. The Uzumaki girl had tried too hard to get here, and had been training her butt off to get as good as possible to become a strong and dependable ninja. Kama had to be as strong as possible to defend her village and family, and this was the first step towards that goal. With any luck she would pass this exam with flying colors and immediately be able to begin doing missions like a real ninja would. She breathed in slowly, and released it as she began studying herself. It was just two simple techniques she had to perform and she would be golden. Two techniques that she had learned from the very jonin in front of her. Preparing to mold her chakra, she began releasing steady amounts through her body. A faint red circle of energy appeared around the girl, though not as wild as before. She had become much more adept at controlling her chakra and releasing the right amounts at the the right time. With this skill she would easily be able to perform her jutsu without tiring, and her tireless training had perfected it to almost an art. In fact, she had begun to notice that after a short rest she recovered extremely quickly, which the young kunoichi attributed to her ability to properly control her chakra. She began performing the seals, with the dog sign first. It took a lot less concentration and effort as before as her chakra began forming pathways without her giving it much thought. She performed the boar seal just as fast, with her chakra flowing through her body to match the seal, not causing any serious leaks of energy as she did before. Finally she performed the ram sign, effectively completing the jutsu as she turned into a perfect recreation of Hikari down to very last detail. Kama smiled and put her hands on her hips, once again sure the transformation had been perfect.


“Ninja Art: Transformation technique is a jutsu that allows one to transform perfectly into anyone that the caster has seen clearly. You have to use your chakra as sort of a shroud and paired with the handsigns, allows you to mimic how another person looks down to the last detail. This technique is perfect for infiltration and disguise, as it would fool most average people and even ninja that didn’t pay enough attention. It is also useful with the substitution technique, allowing you to make your substitution look more lifelike and expressive.”
Kama smiled, taking a breath at her explanation as she still had another jutsu to go. The clone jutsu had initially been a bit harder for the girl and caused her a lot of stamina drain. The uzumaki figured that by now she had to have enough chakra control that it wouldn’t strain her nearly as much and actually be a useful technique in battle. It likely wouldn’t work on higher level enemies but ninja her level likely didn’t have very developed chakra senses and wouldn’t be able to effectively pick the clones apart from the real one providing she set up the technique right. First however, she had to release her transformation jutsu, covering the girl in a puff in smoke that slowly dissipated as she was put back into her normal form. Kama sort of missed the height but she didn’t think she could perform both techniques at the same time yet, at least not without wasting an enormous amount of chakra while doing so. Once again she steadied herself and prepared to undertake the next technique, preemptively flowing chakra through her body in a manner that would ready it to split itself off into two more forms of her. Once again she flowed through the handsigns seamlessly with her expert timing and control of her chakra. First was the ram sign, performed as she began flowing her chakra to the left and right of herself. Her body was once again slowly enveloped in her red chakra, but not showing signs of the same enormous amount of leakage as before. She then performed the snake sign, concentrating on her chakra to form in a shape that would match Kama herself. Finally she performed the tiger sign, causing the jutsu to activate as two clones appeared next to Kama in a puff of smoke. They were perfect replicas of the Uzumaki and matched her movement like a mirror would. “Ninja Art: Clone Technique creates two copies of yourself that are simply mirror images with no substance or physical form. They can be used to confuse and mislead a target and set up a sneak attack as well as be used to make a target think there are more enemies then there really are.”
Kama sighed, releasing the jutsu but not feeling quite as drained as she typically did. The Uzumaki knew her jutsu were perfect, and hoped her explanations of them were just as perfect, at least enough to pass at least. “Ok...That was right, right Miss Hikari?”
She looked up at the jonin nervously, her eyes filled with anticipation.

Hikari would smile, The girl had done her job and had done it perfectly

Giving her the max number of points possible, The Jounin would say, "Yep! Everything is good! You pass! Hopefuly we can go on missions soon!"

With that, Hikari would offer the girl a headband and say, "Now, go out there and make us proud!"

Hikari would giggle happily, excitedly shaking as she accepted the headband, staring into the shiny surface and at the star symbol upon it. She had finally done it. She was officially a full fledged ninja of the star, and could do missions, train higher techniques and whatever she liked. She looked up to Hikari with a nod as she tied the headband around her forehead, the knot hidden behind her hair. “Thank you Hikari! I hope to do you proud!”

With that she excitedly exited the academy, rushing along the path home. She had to tell her parents everything. Her life as a ninja had finally begun.

Approved, and Hikari is correct in this case, you may not claim the 7 stats for the WC here, but you do get 15 for ranking up to genin. Good luck in your training endeavors.
