A Hiyu and a Jashinist meet [Shiroi]
Mon Sep 04, 2017 9:26 pm
The night had slowly began to show its head as a male walked out toward the edges of Tanzaku town. Many of the paper lanterns had been lighting up, his figure obscured by a few other items in the area, but he simply watched as people came to and fro. Someone who was keen and noticed him was probably the one who had been fated to meet the male as he slowly clambered into a state of sleep, one eye kept on the area as he waited to see who would come and speak with him.

Shiroi viewed the paper one last time.
The old oak on the southern side of Tanzaku town, buried under the raised root on the northeastern face.
That's what it read. That's what Shiroi saw, an old oak off the south side of Tanzaku town with a root rising out of the ground.
She also saw a person sitting directly next to the root.
"Hello," she said, walking towards the person, standing on the other side of the raised root from them.
(For reference, she had kept her chakra suppressed since even before leaving Haven.)

His eye didn't move from the area he was looking at yet he missed it completely. The eye shifted as the steps grew closer and he wondered who it was and where did they come from.
Upon first glance it happened to be a female judging by the voice, but he could easily had been wrong then again was he right? The young immortal looked up and over to the female on the opposite side of the root," Hello indeed. What can I help you with missy?," the male slowly starting to stand up and dust himself off. Based on what he had been wearing at the moment his branding(as previously mentioned in his first topic) were covered by his shirt and his odd eyes rested on the female now as he waited for a response.

"Can't say I rightly know," she replied, making note of the man. His chakra was... not nonexistent, so likely a ninja, or at least possessing some ninja training, so it would be best to not trouble him while also not ignoring him. Especially in a place like this, that was basically a hub for crime.
"I came here following a letter I didn't know I'd get, looking for something that I know next to nothing about." Vague and yet precise. Best to be cautious around people, but perhaps this conversation could get him up and about, and more importantly, out.

Mm..
A traveler looking for something and nothing at the same time huh? The male fully stood up and stretched, black eyes looking at her for something...anything. When she spoke in riddles he shrugged and leaned against the tree, both hands kept in his pockets before speaking,"So you're looking for something...or something. Just don't know or you don't want to tell me. Which would it be?,"

"I don't actually know what I'm looking for, just whereabouts it is," she began, looking towards him.
"It happens to be roundabouts where you're sitting, if I've got this all right. So howsabouts letting me through?"
It may have been noticeable, but Shiroi was not speaking in quite her usual, rather unique accenting. It was not far off, just enough, she had decided.

Right where he had been? Well what a coincidence right? The male simply stepped a few inches to the right to be out of the way and crouched, his right fist holding up his head as he smiled and waited," Well? Let's dig us up a roundabout," he was actually more curious about what would be going on here.

"I doubt it's to be anything interesting to you," she said, kneeling down to the ground. The earth was mushy here, a lot looser than she expected. Even so, it took awhile for her to get enough dirt out from under the root such that she could really reach her hand in there.
She was more shifting dirt than digging, to be honest. She really hoped the thing was not buried far.
Thankfully, it was not. Not long after she begun digging, she felt the texture change. That of wood. Removing her hand, she could see the faint texture of shaped, unnatural wood. That had to be it.

"Well i'm just curious to see why you came into hobo land to see what you had wanted." His eyes stayed on the hole for a moment just a little curious to see what would happen. Of course after a moment or two he just sat down and observed," You aren't going to cry when you see the contents are you?"

"I doubt it, my childhood wasn't exactly happy," she began.
At some point, she would probably wonder why she was telling this random person so much.
Perhaps she just did not care. Though it did occur to her that this man now knew a fair bit more about the contents of the box than he would have moments ago.
She shrugged it off.
The box was not big, not even shoebox size. Perhaps it had at one point been a small jewelry box, but now it help nothing of the sort.It took awhile, but Shiroi eventually managed to dislodge it from its location. She lifted it up and sat upon the ground from her original kneeling/squatting position.
"It's a lot plainer than I imagined," she said aloud, not particularly directed towards anyone.
