A Hiyu and a Jashinist meet [Shiroi]

" I just don't know the full reason why to be honest. Yeah it sounds weird and all, but its just a feeling I have would be the better use of words here," that or he didn't know the trade-off for becoming what he was had been this. Either way he had been fine with this since he enjoyed using his own body like a weapon instead of relying on something that could easily be locked away. He never really understood the reason behind chakra based techniques but eventually he would see what they could do in a combat scenario.

Since she had wanted to see what he could do he looked for something to demonstrate on, his eyes catching sight of a dying tree of appropriate size only to walk up to it for a moment to look at it. After a moment or two he would align himself up to it and smile before throwing two kicks. The first was a simple crescent kick, fluid and its movements flowed. Within the moment his foot would come just about close to touching it, his body would begin to lower as he swept the tree from below. As he moved down, small bits of dust and dirt would skirt above and below his leg as it straightened out and connected at the base of the tree. A small crack could be heard from it as it wobbled and his body straightened, throwing another crescent kick into its trunk to fully cause the tree to fall over. Sliding his foot, which would have been his right to a skid on the ground he would turn to the female showing at least the basics that he knew.

Shiroi watched the man. He was not bad, though he did have a far enough way to go. At least, that was if she was right about him only mildly holding back.

She was almost certain he had held back. But he hadn't been attempting to appear to hit as hard as possible while hitting less, she thought, so it wasn't quite as simple as just watching how his muscles tensed.

Oh well, she thought, walking towards the fallen tree.

"Not bad, but you are sloppy." Shiroi bent her knees, standing on the balls of her feet as one hand grabbed the trunk of the dead tree. She proceeded to lift the (relatively small) tree upwards until it stood.

But she did not go for a kick. Instead, she applied ever increasing pressure with just her fingers. First were small cracks. Then there was one loud creak before finally the tree shattered in its middle, falling to the ground.

The small display of her strength was apparent and the gap in their strengths even more so. She picked the tree up and crushed it with a seemingly steady amount of force before the tree snapped in half at the middle. She wasn't just fast. She was also strong and he could see it in the simplest of displays. Whatever training she had prior to wherever she hailed from now was nothing in comparison to what he had and he took this as an example- a base in what he needed to learn in order to become stronger.

A slow clap came from him as he pressed his hands together and looked at the very tree with a small smile, the cross shaped pupils almost moving in childlike excitement as he smiled," Well that...that was something. Fast and strong huh? Maybe one day you could show me more of your refined moves huh?," he was interested in learning the aspects in which she knew and with that would come his power. At the end of the day he'd only wonder what he would do with it all.

Shiroi noticed the man's... Excitement. Hopefully not that kind of excitement, but excitement nonetheless.

It was time to get back on the road, though that didn't mean their session had to end. He already knew she was fast, so she did not have to walk as slowly as normal. Instead, she took a few fast steps to get in front of him and whirl around to face him, continuing to walk backwards, occasionally glancing behind her to make sure it was safe.

"So, let's keep moving. But while that's happening, try to land a hit on me."

This should help her mark how strong he was, and if her guess was right, verify to him that he shouldn't try anything.

Try to attack her? Well then. She had definitely piqued his curiosity and that was enough to make him try. He knew the count and he did the math, he wouldn't be able to actually harm her but he would be able to leave an impression and that he would. By the time she had finished speaking he would dash forward, his right foot coming up to meet her side and he had a back up plan just in case. Once she had blocked it or perhaps even pushed it aside he would use that momentum to turn on a pivot and bring his left knee to meet her face. He knew that she would see through them both so when he had been repelled he would slide back a few meters and return to the assault throwing in a bunch of kicks and punches before delivering the almighty tiger knee and stopping," Going to concede here because i can tell we are still leagues from touching you...for now that is. You are officially going to be my new rival."

The first hit was easily blocked. With one leg raised and one arm bent, her forearm and lower leg formed a wall-like surface for his leg to connect with. It would not go further than that, though the man did not stop there.

He continued into a... well not a kick, but close enough. It was like a kick, but with less range, and... anyways, Shiroi simply twisted her body out of the way for that one.

The flurry of punches, kicks, etc was countered in a number of ways. Some she simply shifted out of the way of, or moved her head a little to dodge. Others, she caught with her hands, though she did not try to grab onto him when she did such.

The tiger knee was a fun one. She had not expected that move, so when it came at her, she was very  happy to have a fun idea. She stood in its path and placed her hand upon his knee.

Then she pushed down and back.

Mu-jin would be spun upon that point until he landed on his face at Shiroi's feet. Though if he was still firmly planted on the ground when she attempted this, he would just be stopped dead in his tracks.

"Rival, huh?" Shiroi thought. It was an... idea. She'd never thought about having a rival, really. Though she figured Izaya had filled that role for awhile, and if she had one now, it would probably be Kyousuke.

"Ok, come find me when you're stronger then."

During their little spar, they seemed to have approached the ruins. The mountains of rubble were just visible as Shiroi turned around.

That's really fucking big!

It was. The rubble pile was... unbelievably large. They were so far away, and yet it was plainly visible. It was huge. The pile of rubble was taller even than the castle in Haven.

"This... may be a much harder task than I anticipated.

"Were you, ever, um, in Tenga? Do you know anything about it? Truth be told I'm a tad unprepared.."

That was well deserved. He hadn't smiled this much in ages so when he was approaching the ground due to her stopping his tiger knee, his body would spin until it was stopped not by the ground but by his right hand. His entire body entered a peculiar pose as his arm held up his entire body, his legs crossing only slightly as he stayed there. To many this would be weird, but to those familiar in the outside world to break dancing this would be a maneuver known as the chair (look it up yo). Once done he would pop up with a spry movement, his body slowly going upright before looking at her and smiling," Sure thing. I haven't had this much fun in a long time," and since the ruins were he in view he sighed for a moment and nodded. 

It was time.

When she asked him the question he shook his head and kept walking , " I know some things about it, not a lot since I didn't personally live in it. Maybe we'll find the answers when we get there," with anticipation from his traveling partner and a trip down memory lane for him he wondered what would happen.
