Six Tails vs Nobunaga Hiyu
Sat Jan 13, 2018 1:15 pm
Welcome to your Bijuu Battle
Before we start, a few ground rules:
+Participants are given 48 hours to respond, Mods and NPCs however are given 72 hours.
-The possibility of death is very real and in fact, expected. You are fighting a bijuu after all.
+Once you post here, your stats and jutsu are locked in place. Anything not on your stat page will not be counted, same as the bijuu. Both parties should ensure all final edits to their stat pages are made before posting in this topic. Note that the bijuu will not be adhering to normal stat or jutsu caps.
-There are no get out of death free cards, if you die, you die. However the bijuu may not die. A death blow will result in the bijuu being knocked out and primed for sealing.
+If your NPC permits, you may edit your post once per post. Editing resets the 72 hour counter from time of edit.
-Regardless of how much coding skill you’d like to apply, each technique used must be listed at the bottom of your post along with appropriate AP deduction. If any party fails to list a tech, it does not go through
+Because this is a semi IC event, you may use the words from your battle towards stats/a technique you used or trained.
-Should a battle mod be required, one will be provided. It will not help your case to argue with the battle mod. You may make your point respectfully and then defer to the mod’s judgment. That said, we encourage talking with your opponent before asking for a battle mod
+Should the first team/participant fail, the next team/participant will get their turn. A new topic will be made for the next fight. Should all bijuu hopefuls for a certain tailed beast fail, signups for that beast will open once more.
-Participants post first, IC investigating a natural oddity that has been occurring near their current IC location. The NPC-ed bijuu posts second with a complete stat page as well as their entrance post.
I wish you the best of luck!

- Music:
It was a rinse and repeat cycle until he crossed the Lighting country border into the Bear country. Thats when he started getting reports of odd disturbances from the local civilians. Each village he went too had similar stories that they had either herd from a neighboring village or from foreigners making their way through the Bear country towards Kumo. Usually he did not consider hearsay to be reputable accounts however all of these were the same and all coming from the north west region where the Bear, Snow and Moon country all linked up, a pivotal crossing. Reports of vast regions of land trampled over with a slimy substance left behind and areas normally containing forestry and lush greenery full of death and decay. The latter sounded like another day in Kumo, however it was odd to the Hiyu that whatever was leaving this destruction in its wake had not been sighted.
After having taken in as much information as he could gather about the whereabouts of these odd events, Nobunaga set out northward in the direction where the 3 aforementioned countries meet up. If he did not find whatever he was looking for on his way there or at the center location of where all the strange occurrences were happening, he would have to track it down. Something causing that much destruction, leaving nothing but death in its wake could easily put the lives of innocent people at risk, people Nobunaga was now tasked to protect. He could not let these people who otherwise cannot protect themselves die under his watch. With a weather worn cloak fully draped over his body from neck to toe, concealing the armored strapped to his body and everything he had equipped (all items in bio) save for the long handle poking out over his right shoulder, the 6ft4 Hiyu proceeded onward.

Saiken's journey had been relatively uninterrupted other than the strange fellow that followed him through a tunnel underground, yet even he had soon left. Perhaps this world has changed for the better where the Bijuu could wander without any interruption nor any consequences. Now it could just kick its metaphorical feet up, roll over onto its side and simply soak in the warm rays of the sun. Could Bijuus get a tan? Saiken was unsure, but more than willing to find out.
Its journey through the mountainous region of Iwagakure had left something to be desired however as people seemed to always wander around; travelling merchants and bands of shinobi went where they weren't wanted and served as a nuisance for the catatonic Bijuu so it was forced to begin moving again. Destruction was easy for a beast of such a size, yet it had no desire to reap. A peaceful, docile life was the aim, and so it continued to slither from Iwagakure until it ended up in Tengakure; the ruined village.
Here the Bijuu, which was about 20 meters tall at this point in time, surveyed its area as it went about inspecting the damage of the ruined buildings, looking for any sort of crevice that could serve as a home. Its chakra remained potent as a warning for others in the area to avoid its home, yet maybe.. it'd have the opposite effect.

The brute's path of following clues would take him directly into the moon country. As he got closer, more and more villagers, merchants and strangers who were willing to speak to the massive man would inform him of any information they had on where the destruction was. Now deep within the Moon country, Nobunaga had found traces of slime and destruction for himself. Whatever was causing this was clearly not human, or if it was it was some deformity or experiment. Nobunaga was able to increase the size of his body due to his Kekki Genkai but not nearly to a size that could cause this much destruction. And then there was the slime. Why was there slime accompanying all of the destruction?
Following the path he had now found, Nobunaga would unknowingly make his way towards the ruins of Tengakure. As he got closer to the village the destruction was more prevalent and appeared newer. The slime was still moist, the overturned earth and massive trails in the ground were still soft. Nobunaga was on its tail. Suppressing his chakra as to not announce his presence to whatever he was following, he would press on.
Coming into an elevated clearing, Tenagkure finally came into view about 200 meters away at a lower altitude and that is when Nobunaga finally spotted what it was that he was tracking. Halting in his tracks, far out from the village, Nobunaga's eyes would open wide in shock. The usually stoic, expressionless shinobi was now truly stunned. Never had he seen such a monstrous being, standing meters above what remained of the crumbling village. It was both an amazing and horrifying sight to behold. "A Bijuu?" He rhetorically asked himself, having taken note of the 6 tails it clearly possessed. He had never seen one, only herd of them. His only knowledge of these ancient creatures pertained to when Lord Koroshi possessed the 9th beast. Seemed like ages ago.
From this distance Nobunaga was but a spec in the horizon and therefore would go unnoticed to a creature of such a size. Keeping his chakra suppressed, Nobunaga would bolt forward towards the village. It did not appear as thought the Bijuu was trying to leave the ruined village however he had to keep an eye on it. If it were to move closer to civilization he could not allow it to put others at risk. But what would he do once he got there, just keep an eye on it? From underneath the concealment of his cloak he would slip his left hand under his shoulder plate and press the Anbu tattoo inked into his flesh. Contacting his fellow Storm operatives back in Kumo he would relay what the situation was. But what was the use? It would take ages for them to get here and by then this beast could cause even more damage.
Reaching a crumbled section of the wall that once protected this large village, Nobunaga would come to a stop, his eyes shifting upwards to gaze at the full height of the grotesque yet magnificent creature. The presence of his chakra was immense, overwhelming really. Instinctively touching the ninjato and greatsword on his back, weapon pouches on his waist and armor, making sure everything was still there and properly strapped, the Hiyu would crouch out of sight, 70 meters away from the demon. Keeping his chakra concealed at all times of course, Nobunaga had no idea whether this creature was hostile or not. Perhaps it came here to get away from civilization and away from harming others. But could he really risk that?
Using his advanced shinboi training, Nobunaga would begin to move every so stealthily. Moving through the rubble making sure not to cause any disturbances in the air, every step intentionally placed to make no noise. Periodically stopping as he approached to beast from its left side to see if it noticed, Nobunaga would continue forward till he reached about 30 meters, standing tall and strait as he moved not to appear threatening if the beast discovered him. What was it doing? Looking for a place to rest? Perhaps Nobunaga could wait for it to slumber, to keep an eye on it till back up arrived, or to take it out.

Comfort bred complacency which in turn led to servitude. Being trapped inside the chasm of some shinobi to fight their battles for them wasn't a dream of Rokubi. It'd grown tired after the ambitions of Viper Uchiha crumbled; the man that almost united an entire world. Yet.. here, some petty fool thought they were his equal. They thought they could sneak around in ruins despite Rokubi's height advantage, seemingly forgetting that if Rokubi could be seen, then so could he. The first sighting came at roughly 100 meters as the lone figure dashed towards its vicinity. Mild alarm rung within the beast as it watched the male try to get to cover, but it was already too late. He'd been spotted.
The maw of the beast opened momentarily as it splutteredfive acidic bubbles, releasing the malevolent balls into the air so that they could quarry the figure and perhaps ward it off.. yet that was unlikely. It'd pursued the creature despite the formidable chakra and size. The bubbles drifted away from the Bijuu, spread out roughly 20 meters horizontally from one another, roughly five meters above the ground as they drifted in the direction of Nobunaga. At this point, the Bijuu started to move away from the pursuing figure, wondering if it'd follow. If the figure tried to move around the bubbles they'd drift towards him once more, even moving backwards if needed, and if he got close enough then the nearest bubble would pop to shower him in an acidic mess.

At about 100 meters the massive creature took notice of the Storm Operative. Even though it was using its massive chakra signature to potentially ward off any attackers, it was still on high alert. A being such as this one was probably use to fending off attacks against those who who would seek to capture the beast. Approaching at about half his max speed, Nobunaga could see that the Bijuu was now facing him, his slug like maw opening wide. Never veering from his path, Nobunaga would continue on forward into the abandoned village. As if it had a will of its own, Nobunaga's armor would begin to spread and grow underneath his weather worn cloak at the same time as the massive bubbles were brought forth. The armor would expand over his toes, around his fingers and engulf his head, providing him with a full body suit of plated metal to head into the fray.
"It's running away?" Rheotircally asked the brute, now approaching the massive bubbles floating 20 meters apart from one another. Despite the natural malice and devastating power this beast possessed, it appeared that it wanted to avoid conflict. The Hiyu had found it odd that he had encountered no one who was harmed by this creature and his path to finding the Bijuu was far from civilization. Even now, he found it in an abandoned village. Perhaps it was a more docile Bijuu, one that did not care to harm the world around it. However Nobunaga could not risk it, he could not allow this creature to potentially put the lives of those who were under his charge in danger.
The bubbles floating ahead of him looked very familiar, much like a suiton jutsu he had been trapped in by a Hozuki back in Suna. Not intending to get trapped, 20 meters out he would throw a shuriken at each one of them. They were bubbles right? The speedy spinning blades would puncture into each of their own bubbles, hopefully causing them to burst before Nobunaga got anywhere near them. If not, in any case he noticed the bubbles were slow moving. If they did not burst he would run right for the gap between two of them. Now running at his max speed, the Hiyu would bolt right past the slow moving bubbles, continuing his pursuit for the fleeing Bijuu. If the bubbles were to explode they would splash onto the cloak which he wore over all of his equipment, which would give him time to shed the cloak before the acid began to burn away through it and onto his equipment that was unable to withstand its acidic touch. Any that somehow missed the cloak would splash onto his armored body, sizzling away, unable to penetrate its thick hide. This would also tell Nobunaga that the creature used acid based jutsus, if of course the bubbles exploding upon him passing them or by the shuriken.
Moving at a faster pace than the beast, Nobunaga would approach it from 50 meters to its right, moving away from all of its tails and allowing himself to study the massive creature before him. It was clearly a slug which meant it had a different anatomy than that of a typical creature, however it still had a heart, a brain, a nervous system, organs that he could take out or overpower in order to take down this gargantuan beast. Clapping his hands into the Ram seal, two more armored arms would sprout from underneath Nobunaga's armpits, one for each pit respectively. Now with four arms, the newly created right arm would reach up over his right shoulder the grip the handle of his massive greatsword, but not unhooking it from his back. Nobunaga would aim to bait the Bijuu into attacking him and then using that as an opportunity to strike. Keeping pace with the Bijuu whether it slowed down or sped up, Nobunaga would begin closing the distance, closing it to as much as 30 meters, ready to perform a counter attack, or strike himself.

As Saiken attempted to get away from its aggressor its eye stalks continued to stick out from its head, surveying the entirety of the area so that it kept the actions of Nobunaga in its vision. He'd dispatched the bubbles with relative ease as the bubbles exploded into a myriad of acid which burnt the ground, sizzling the boots of his armour should he run over the ground that was affected, yet this presented a more dire problem to the Bijuu since it quickly became obvious that the cloaked male was indeed faster.
This was bad, and the situation was threatening to escalate and become even worse so there was only one logical thing to do; hide and plan. If it couldn't outrun the man, then it'd simply have to stay exactly where it was and make sure he couldn't come towards it. Just as the male closed the gap to 35 meters, a thick, purple fog bypassed the mouth of the creature, singing the rubble around it before it rapidly spread out in a 50 meter radius around the Bijuu, shielding its presence from the eyes of the man despite its large size, even its chakra signature hidden due to being surrounded by its own chakra. For now, it'd bide its time and wait, keenly listening for any changes as it stalled in the center of the mist.

Running alongside the slower moving beast, increasingly closing the distance between the two of them at a methodical pace, the Hiyu would change his course. Instead of running parallel to the Bijuu he would turn and head strait towards it upon noticing it came to a full stop. But first, he would both bond his armor to his body and send a flow of chakra into his sword, strengthening it. Due to the acid bubbles he had easily dispensed with mere seconds ago, Nobunaga knew this gargantuan creature used acid to attack and seeing the beast coming to a full halt could only mean one thing, it was getting ready to attack the Storm Operative. Not knowing whether the fleshy beast was coated in his own acid or not or the strength of its acid, Nobunaga decided to take precautionary measure and active his ultimate defense, also considering he had to get in close to kill this thing he obviously couldnt risk getting burnt alive . Of course the experienced Anbu was right for mere moments later a purple mist secreted from the demons mouth with tremendous speed, descending like a heavy fog and scorching the earth bellow before uniformly spreading out in every direction.
Still running forward at full speed, the fast moving gas overtook Nobunaga 30 meters out. With his weapon pouch and ninjato instantly disintegrated upon being touched by the powerful acid now surrounding him Nobunaga continued onward, him and his great sword unscathed by the acid. No longer able to sense the Bijuu for the cloud of chakra surrounding him was now masking it presence he was however not fighting blind for he could both hear and feel that it was not moving which meant it was exactly located at what appeared to be the epicenter of the jutsu, where it had cast its jutsu.
Continuing forward, 25 meters out Nobunaga would unhook his sword from his back and swing it over his right shoulder. As it arched over his shoulder Nobunaga would unwrap his armored grip from the handle of the sword, throwing it in front of him. Upon being released from his clutch, the blade would begin to deconstruct itself and transform into a massive crescent blade. At a speed of 100 Nobunaga's great sword transformed into the crescent plade, spanning 100 meters vertically from the top tip of the crescent blade to the bottom. The 100 meter blade would cut strait down into the ground which was fine as it was being eroded away anyways by the acid. The blade was 50 meters wide horizontally with a thickness of 50 meters as well. The fast moving crescent shaped wall that was far larger than the Bijuu would aim to slam right into the stationary beast and tear it to shreds, quite possibly leaving only bits and pieces of it behind. He could feel that it wasnt moving and since the acid cloud only just took over him mere seconds ago he still knew exactly where the 6 tails was, which was dead center in the path of his now transformed sword.

Rokubi stalled patiently in the corrosive mist that scorched the area around it, confident in its ability to buy itself some time or even to ward the foe off. Its mist had failed it very few times before, and it wouldn't now, it was sure.. yet that was a lousy hope. Somehow someway, the footsteps persisted through the murderous fog, treading on the muddy ground and the melting rocks. This man was more durable than most which alarmed the Bijuu yet the fight wasn't over yet, he was still unaware of where the creature would be and his only assumptions would have to be based off of rough estimates and fools luck; unfortunately he was proficient at both.
Charging up a copious amount of acid in its throat the Bijuu prepared to launch the globule at the armoured warrior, yet it was all in vain. It wasn't too long after the acid congregated in its throat that a parting appeared in the midst of the dense mist, cleaving through it without a noise to accompany its arrival. Rokubi barely had enough time to process what was happening before the blade sliced clean through its corporeal form in a swift fashion, immediately crippling the Bijuu that once belonged to the most powerful ninja in the modern world.
For a moment or two longer the Bijuu remained upright and stationary in the center of the parted mist, its body seemingly fine yet its lack of attentiveness would hint otherwise if the assailant was able to process the information without the interference of his adrenaline. The fog soon dissipated into the surroundings as chakra emanated from the defeated creature, pouring from its body and into the surroundings of the ruins causing the weather to become momentarily volatile with a bout of harsh wind and rain before it finally settled.. the air calmer than before, quieter. Nobunaga had been victorious in his fight, and now the feared acidic titan was his.
