Five Tails vs Roy Pyre

Roy found himself a few miles outside of the Hidden Leaf Village's outer sensory barrier, clad in all of his ninja gear and attire. Roy hopped from tree branch to tree branch in search of an "oddity" coming from nearby. Something did not feel right.

Alas Roy would stop on one of these said branches to survey the land: A dense canopy of trees allowing little light through to the ground. Roy could stand on the branch of one 20 meter tall tree and be able to touch another tree of similar quality. The Sun was out and the sky was clear; just beyond the tree branch that Roy was standing on was a glorious sight: Broken forest all around him in a 150 meter circle. Large trees were broken and collapsed all on the ground which created a large field of difficult terrain. It was as though something big had entered the area, done its business, and then left. Even those without sensory could tell that a large, boding chakra was here recently. This was clearly the source of the oddity.  Roy had a bad feeling.

Upon seeing this Roy would bite his thumb, pouring chakra into it, and then pressing his hand onto the branch below. Instantly in a puff of smoke Klah, the Illusionary owl, would appear right next to him.

"What in the bloody hell it is well into my beauty re..." Klah would say as he noticed the massive destruction just beyond. This was something he clearly had never seen before.

"Fly above and beyond the field. Come back to me the moment you find something that could cause this mess" Roy would tell the owl, there was a clear look of worry on Roy's face as he said this.

While commanding Klah, with one hand Roy would do the clone seal and release the chakra, creating  a puff of smoke. A shadow clone of Roy would appear a meter to the right of him on the same branch. It had clear instructions to follow the field of broken branches to the right of Roy to see if he could find anything out. The two of them (Roy/Klah) would begin to Run/Fly as fast as they could above and around the field. Roy knew that whatever was about to happen would be glorious.

Roy was the boy for the job.

Kokuo hadn’t been free from his former prison long. Just recently his former partner had met his troubling demise. Still, it was nice to be free again, he hadn’t roamed by himself in a long long time. Somehow in his travels, the five tailed beast had wandered to the land of fire. He never stayed in one place too long because the hunt never stopped, someone was always trying to lock him away again.

But the beast wasn’t about to let that happen, anyone who stood in his way would have to be dealt with. That was the cause of the large destruction in the forest, a bandit group attacked Kokuo. They weren’t a problem anymore. The five tails knew he needed to flee the land of fire, actually, the plan was to leave the next day. He was just gathering his strength, preparing for the coming journey. His current whereabouts were in the middle of an open grass field, nothing around for 100 meters in any direction except a small lake around 30 meters in diameter at the center, the lake had a depth of 20 meters. Kokuo who was two meters in height and length stood on the edge of that lake, drinking water. He had his charka sensory active at all times trying to sense threats. The beginning of the field was located 75 meters to the left of Roy, the opposite direction his shadow clone was heading.

As Roy would allow his clone and his owl to gather information Roy would simply stay in position waiting for either's return, resting a bit he would regain some of his stamina as he thought through his history as to what or who could have done this.

While Roy could have gone down and possibly found clues as to what happened to bandit group that attacked the five tails, that just wasn't something Roy would do. Besides that there wasn't enough time to search this place that thoroughly.

Roy's clone would indeed search the perimeter of the field and find nothing. The clone would reach the other end of the field and keep moving around, eventually meeting up with Roy and Klah. 

Klah on the other hand having the gift of flight would Fly up and around the arena. In time he too would search above and find nothing as well. But in all this time searching it isn't impossible to think that Klah would see the field Kokuo was in. Given the Five tails small being, about the size of a horse, would be difficult to see from a distance of almost 200 meters away Klah would fly back to Roy. "There's another field up ahead, I'm going to go check it out." Klah would say to Roy.

Roy would nod and begin to jump from tree branch to tree branch towards the direction of the other field at a casual pace, at about 50 speed. Roy would be raised up about 15 meters above the ground on these large branches trying his best to search for the five tails (though he didn't know that was what he was looking for).

About 40 meters away from the field, somewhere between 75 and 105 feet away from Kokuo, Roy met up with his clone. The three would meet and explain that they would be heading over to this other field to search. Roy's Clone and Klah would lead. The clone would be 20 meters in front of Roy before he began to move forward. Klah would fly 15 meters above the clone. The sun beginning to set at this time.

Given Kokuo's horse like nature it would probably rest around the lake, moving from spot to spot to get comfy. It is up to Kokuo to decide when she sense's the trio. If Kokuo took a stroll around the field it could be easily assumed that she sensed the clone well before he met up with Roy and Klah; seeing that the clone would be closest to Kokuo as it made its away around the destroyed field, a mere 35.5 meters away from the opening of field Kokuo was resting in. Thus changing what Roy, the clone, and Klah would do.

[Seeing that Roy would rest while the other two searched I'd assume that he would regenerate a large amount of stamina, I would argue that he regenerated 10 Stamina, giving him a total of 315. The clone would still carry 304 AP.]

The bijuu was just casually drinking water. There really wasn’t much else to it. After a while, he started to sense three charka signatures, two of them felt identical while the other was weaker. But part of the whole hiding thing was not drawing attention to himself. The best thing he could do now would be stay exactly where he was, and wait. He wouldn’t wait forever though If the beings noticed him or came any closer he would obviously take a different course of action. Stay calm, and maybe they’ll just leave. The horse thought to himself. But he had a sinking feeling that probably wouldn't happen. 

If the chakra signatures were to not come towards him, Kokuō would leave sooner then he planned. The horse assumed he was faster than the figures in the distance, he would escape one way or another. Peacefully or not.

While flying above Klah could see the beast drinking its water. To klah, an animal summon from one of the wisest contract races, it wouldn't be a stretch for Klah to instantly know what the being was. With its five tails blowing in the wind  it was clear that this was a biju. At least it was what looked like a biju. The tailed beasts were known to be far...larger than the small horse grazing in the beyond. Klah would fly back down to Roy's location. The trio would stop, with the clone being about 5 meters away from the opening of the field and Roy about 5 meters behind that. The two could see Kokuo from beyond the dense forest, but not as well as what Klah could from above.

With Klah landing on the clones shoulder the owl would speak to the clones, ever so quietly as to not draw attention. "This is a bloody mess. It looks like one of the legendary tailed beasts." Klah would say. "There is no possible way we can defeat it if it is." Roy would sigh, looking down at his feet.

Was this the destiny that my mind had been wondering to? Roy would think to himself.

"Klah, I want you out of here, return home immediately. I shall fight this alone. Should I become one with the Great Owl, promise me that you will relay what information you can to the village, they must be told what happened here." Roy would pause a moment. "This is farewell, for now." Roy would say, nodding to his clone, who would put up his right hand to pet him. With that Klah would bow his head deeply before desummoning himself back to the lunatic forest in a plumage of feathers, a tear forming under his eye.


Now the battle shall begin....


The instant that klah would vanish the Clone Roy would vanish in a plumage of feathers. The hand that was raised up to pet Klah was raised in a motion to double as weaving the ram hand sign with just one hand. Clone Roy would reappear 1 foot behind the five tails was standing at a speed of 210. Should the beast not move from this location Clone Roy's left hand would have lightning thrust out of it at a speed and power of 90 through the beast's backside and through his body attempting to skewer him with lightning Chakra.

Roy on the other hand would maintain his post and only react differently should the events listed above not turn out as specified above.

Listening, waiting, the bijuu was on high alert. He wasn’t facing them yet because he didn’t need the added attention. He sensed the now two charka signatures for too long to know this problem wasn’t going to be one that was just going to go away. Just as he was about to turn around he heard the slightest sound. Most people would ignore it but the bjuu was smart enough to know that usually meant an attack was about to happen. This person was fast, he realized that now. So the second he heard the sound he would start to use the tailed beast shockwave. By the time the kid was behind him and charging his chidori  the blast would go off at a speed and power of 130 (chakra scaling.) This would effectively destroy the chidori and cause the clone to go flying back 50 meters, if not making it dissipate all together. At this time the horse would spin to face the other remaining charka signature. He was too far away at the current point in time to attack so the bjuu would instead terrify him.
 
He would release a display of power. His charka would surge, putting him at 1000 stats (400 are artificial.) Anyone who saw him would they would see the horse seemingly grow 100 meters in height and 40 meters in length (he didn’t actually move, this was part of the display.) The victim would also see their death over and over again. The beast wasn’t playing around. If that figure in the trees came any closer one of those deaths would become a reality.

In the moments that Roy would have to react to the beasts shock-wave Roy would sense the tremendous power coming from the tailed beast. Roy's clone could have reacted to the beast's attack. He could have used surface walking to hold his feet in the same place with enough strength, but the power of the shockwave would send the rest of the clone hurled back at a power that was far beyond what Roy himself could even survive. Roy's clone would be impacted by the blast and seemingly melt away by the shock-wave. Roy himself would receive the clones memories. The shock-wave was just out of Roy's range however in his elevated position Roy could still feel the immense power that came from what appeared to be just a warning shot to Roy.

Then Roy would see it. Coming out from behind one of the trees Roy would see the tailed beast in her full glory. She was massive. Even bigger than Virreau, the giant owl, is. The amount of chakra that the beast exerted was glorious and terrifying at the same time. Roy could only feel one thing, fear. Death was certain, there was no way Roy himself could beat this beast. Then what? What purpose would Roy have in this world, what use would he have towards his lord Mizukage? The magnificence of the beast towering above him peered into the very soul of Roy. Roy then asked the question to himself, what now? This is what true power really looked like ; and it was beautiful.

Then his mind would bombarded with the images.... those images of his life being taken away from him over and over again. This wasn't a genjutsu, no, but the images were there, and they would not go away. He would see his body being ripped apart in the beast's mouth and then smashed to dust under its massive hoof. He would have countless images of his meaningless life destroyed again and again by this beast.

Roy would lean onto the tree whose branch he was standing on. Roy was in fact still alert and ready to defend himself if need be. But his body was still quaking with fear. He would look up to the Gobi and speak.

"Forgive me, great one. I see the error in my actions now and ask, no beg, for mercy." Roy did not know if the Gobi could understand Roy or not, he only hoped that he did.

Roy's chakra would darken, should the great beast no accept Roy's plea Roy would have no choice but to fight, however even Roy knew that even his strongest attacks would probably prove powerless. Should anything change at any point Roy would react accordingly.

The bijuu was smart but not out of the woods yet. His plan was successful, the clone was destroyed, his attack failed. The immediate threat was gone. But he still had that other chakra signature to deal with. After activating his display of power he knew whoever this was would be terrified. And he was right, still facing the chakra signature he heard it speak.  It sounded like… a boys voice. Was a boy hunting him? Maybe he would kind of feel bad if he had to kill him, he would get over it pretty quickly though. The voice started to call out saying that he had made a mistake and asked for mercy.
 
While the bijuu wasn’t about to let his guard down he would indulge the kid. Bellowing out he would speak "Leave now if you wish to survive the rest of the day. This is your one and only warning.” The beast’s eyes would keep focused, waking to see if Roy was smart or just another fool.
