In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae] - Page 2 Empty Re: In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae]

Sat Oct 28, 2017 8:42 am
Kutari would watch all her movements. Her animated expressions and way of watching him. She seemed to be distrusting of him or at the very least unknowing of his capabilities. Though Kutari held no interest to play games with her in such a way she may have assumed. He had already been through so much in such a short time and it seemed like the world was out to get him. At least through the series of ways he was attacked mentally or emotionally. Currently expressing a very blank and discounting stare at the girl. Was she afraid of him? No that wasn’t it. If anything being more irritated or at ends with him and who he was as a person. Though he was aware he asked many questions up until now and very curious..He wasn’t sure why she seemed to upset.

At the very least after speaking he would watch her. Maybe she was always this way? Not to say that he knew who she was and how she operated. But the way they both met was not in the very least normal and Kutari understood that. He wasn’t trying to make enemies but more so get some insight on himself and how he should think. Which this situation did in fact help him with. Though of course now he was brought with another series of issues and dilemma regarding this girl and her shady actions. Or was he possibly the one who was acting in such a manner. Regardless, he would just have to assume she was always this way towards new people. Very weary and cold to them in a way that suggests being fed up.

Watching her rub her temples, sway oddly and move about. He wondered if it all truly was necessary or good for her. Stress being one of the weaknesses to a human body. A human’s mind even. She was stressing herself out far beyond what could be perceived. At least through Kutari’s eyes. They resided in a very well kept and peaceful area. So such an act seemed odd. He would look with a face and movements that suggested nothing particularly. He had just undergone his new persona which would help him and how he lived. Or at least hoped too. Still being psychologically dead and uninterested he would listen passively. As most of his mind was logged up in space. Moving about aimlessly and with no real passion in it’s ways.

It would take but a moment to conclude what was truly worrying her. The topic of being a Kaguya and how he knew about it. Was she still thinking about such a subject even now? He hadn’t suspected this to be the main reason as to why she felt so uneasy and against him. Or at least extremely weary. He would continue to just stare at her with no sort of movements or facial expression. Taking the blow she gave him verbally with no movements. His face dead and unmoved.

He continued to watch her. Allowing seconds to past by. Watching her as one eyebrow slightly shifted upward. As if questioning her. Silently saying why were you asking that out of all things with his face. He felt as if this one question was possibly the least important question for her to ask. In his own beliefs at the very least. Using this to judge her character. Her analytical skills. The way she words things. Painting the picture in his own head about her. Seeming to be prone to stress easily and making rash decisions. Or possibly not. Though she had very strong and vibrant emotions. Almost envious of her as he possessed cold and harsh ones. Unable to perceive anything right or wrong about him. Though this very fact may be what causes her unease.

Still, he had no intentions to lie to the girl. Fully able to tell her the truth and aware of his facial expressions and patterns. Knowing when it could say he was lying or telling the truth. Though he offered up a truth as he very well knew that’s what she needed at the time. Otherwise being filled with anger and a spite that might cause conflict. He respected this girl and her fighting capabilities and wished not to cause such an issue between the two of them. He spoke adamantly though calmly with her. Allowing his words to sink in and shed light. His slightly raspy voice giving her something to listen to.

Your bones. I watched you and your father fight earlier and saw the bones being used. It wouldn’t be that hard to decipher. If you’re referring to the Kaguya clan itself...That’s a bit odd to ask. Their history up until now has been filled with action and gore until any other. It’s a great topic to cover in old books and articles. Not that hard to find… They’re able to manipulate their bones, you possess the families birthmark on your forehead, I watched you fight with bones. A sword not being that brittle but bone yes. All the distinctive traits of bone even. With such a blood soaked past and noticeable blood trait…

He would stop there. Slowly allowing his words to fade out. Suggesting to Sanae where that last bit was going. At the very least he told the truth. Such a clan was easy to read about, especially with a gruesome past and distinct bloodline. Kutari always having been a study. Already going to the Hoshi library and finding himself reading at home for hours and researching. He was a mindful person who enjoyed grasping new concept and knowledge. Such a subject coming about was bound to happen as he researched the history of clans and their bloodlines. Especially as he attempted to grasp his own blood and what it could do. Though now he was curious as to why Sanae was so hellbent on finding out. Her question being a bit vague and easy to answer. Not to say she was wrong in how she felt. But now the boy was curious. As she was a living example of the answer she just asked him.

Though at the very least he understood that the girl simply was being careful. It seemed to him that clans and heritage was very important and secret to her. Given how she acted and made such a big deal about the topics at hand. He wouldn’t even notice the time of day as he was absorbed in her and how she reacted. It all coming to an end. Still though, was it really that common to worry about one's clan and background? Having never experienced such a feeling or clansman of sort. Close relatives other than his parents. He couldn’t sympathize with the concept and fear that would follow. Only seeing her as an example of what it could be. After giving a moment for her to process that he would continue.

Hopefully that was what you were looking for. If not then...I’m not sure what to say. Though I don’t fully get why one would be so territorial and focused on such an idea as clans...Guess I’ll never know really. Regardless, is that what you wanted to ask? Or was there something else?

Kutari would now ask again. Wanting to see if their was something else to what she wanted to know. Giving her the open table to do as such in case. So she had no issues about all that has happened today. At the very least he could say he made an acquaintance. Though he was unsure how fond she was of him. What was to be expected though. It was an odd situation from the beginning. Nothing to be upset about. At the very least he had hoped to see her again in the future. He waited with a curious look as his lips continued to stare meekly at her. His eyes exhausted but still interested as both his eyebrows were raised. Wanting to see if their was anything else to state or talk about. Willingly open to most topics.

In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae] - Page 2 Empty Re: In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae]

Sat Oct 28, 2017 9:30 am
This was it then, the answer she had anticipated. Just research in the library? Was it really that easy to out her clan like that? She looked up, the sky had become darker it was surly time to go. But there was nothing more about this boy than a bookworm? Not really clear if she should be happy or frustrated about it she looked at him turning her face in a motionless mask like his. Dulled down to the minimalistic movements of breathing she looked at him almost a little sad. Something in her mind said that she was pretty sure that there could not be such a spill of information about her clan in an open library, because why would they let this happen. This was like, when she thought about it, she could not find another example because even with her sitting in the library very often she could not think of one book giving information on another clan like that. She would need to go into the library herself to see if what he said was true. If it was, then those books might be everywhere and just anyone would know just by sight what and who she was, because one could just go to their public library and just read about it.

Then she tipped against her forehead. Those where not birthmarks, they were tattoos. She decided to wear them, because she was proud of it. Her father would not. So maybe there was really a book with this information not being so very correct. But the important part was in like it was no big deal at all to reveal the blood ability of a clan. She gridded her teeth and shook her head a little in disbelieve. But what was she to do with him now? Her eyes took focus of him again and she started thinking about her options which were not really so many to begin with. Another ting that she did not like about it, but well what was she to do about it, nothing. This was just another situation where despite her growing power she was completely lost without someone to say her how to handle this situation. Maybe she was not ready to become a Chuunin after all. But regarding that he could be walking around her doing nothing and no one was brothering him he was either much too powerful or smart for her to take on or what was rather more logical, he was just another Genin in the gardens.

Tired of running her day down the drain she looked at him: "Seems like I have to go burn some books then, they almost made me think I have either an enemy or a relative before me. But instead the boring truth seems to be, that just any Genin can know of my clans special abilities that I was taught to at least try to hide. Sorry I was thinking about killing you, it is not your fault, that my clan is scattered and no one cares about protecting our history", she bowed to him lightly. "I have nothing more to ask of you, time is running short I suppose", she could hear herself talking but it felt so far away that it almost felt like she was watching herself talk to him. Dull and discouraged or no not discouraged jus dulled down, she was tired and sad or angry, not for angry there was too less fire. Maybe frustrated or disappointed with everything that had happened today? There was no way out of it and it was turning her stomach upside down making her feel nauseous to a point that she wanted to belch. But to his luck her body was empty.

"You might not understand but usually even with such a unique ability Families usually don't want others to know what they can do and that is the reason why there should not be books about it for outsiders to read. Even if it is something obvious on the outside like my bones, there are sometimes things hidden underneath and the more you know the obvious the closer you get to the hidden and this is what I am as part of this am asked to hide. I don't need you to understand that, because you might not feel that way about what ever makes you special, but well if you know more about other people, you better not straight up rub it into their faces, because they might kill you", she stepped into the pond until her feet were covered with water and she could feel the cool water around them. Lightly splashing water around with her feet she looked into the distance and then signed: "It is just advice, some people might not wait around to ask you where you gained that knowledge but just kill you so that you can't spread it and that would be rather gruesome. But I have no further questions you can go ahead if you want to." She looked at the waters before her and asked herself if it was easy to just go under and never come up again? No this was just her frustration speaking she could not let it get the better of her. With a sense of defiance she looked up at the sky and smiled at it. Wasn't it a lucky day?

In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae] - Page 2 Empty Re: In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae]

Sat Oct 28, 2017 11:00 am
He watched her reaction to what he had to say. Not very much what he anticipated but it was something. At the very least she had gotten what she wanted. But he wasn’t sure if the girl was disappointed or untrusting of him still. Seeming to be riled up by the turn of events. He would watch her with a deftly stare. Comfortable and lax after all of what has just taken place. Or more so just drained and at ends with it all. Wanting to move on and live his life. Though he was somewhat resistant to as he feared for what was to come after. Being alone and a target to himself. Having to sit and be wholeheartedly with his mind. A thought that frightened him in the wrong way. He wasn’t exactly looking forward to such an encounter. Discouraging it even as he still had no idea of where to go from there.

He was unsettled on whether she believed him or not. It wasn’t a crazy idea to believe in as documents are a reality. Rumors and even eyewitnesses who want to gain an upper hand for the future so would expose such secrets to the public. Publishers who look forward to seeing the Shinobi World in open sights for people to watch and know of. Even if it is for their protection. Surely after learning the history of Kaguya, Kutari himself would be weary of such people. Such a chaotic background and power. It would make any individual who cared for their life shy away. Though if that was the case why wasn’t he afraid of Sanae? Despite having the same blood limit, he could see himself acting the same way towards someone of a different background. If anything he found it all interesting. The capabilities of individuals being chaka instruments to the point of mutating their genetic designs. Researching such a series of people being hard and difficult, but utterly in the end reaping the rewards.

Of course he wouldn’t have gained his knowledge all from one source. Having to take tid bits from different sources and compile his own idea in multiple viewpoints. That was the beauty of research however. All offered at a great library with vasts amount of knowledge. If he wasn’t roaming the streets of Hoshigakure or training he would be studying. Learning more and hearing about different stories and beliefs. Rumors that would just be rumors or have some truth value to it. Increasing his own intelligence and thought processes while simultaneously acquiring information on potential foes. Though it may come to bite him in the ass later as it was just seen now. The girl being upset for a long while. However now it seemed she was calm. Or content. Again for now.

She was a very blunt individual. Learning that as she spoke again. Speaking about burning books and killing him. He blinked twice out of sure shock. Not fully processing what she said as it was so scandalous. Until he realized what she said and meant it. Acting as if it was the most casual thing in the world. He would look at her being now more alert. If everything more confused. Is that why she had been acting in such a manner? Considering killing the boy? He hadn’t moved yet but was still confused and riled up by that remark. Even seeing it as a bit comical. Causing him to lighten up as she went about her actions so casually and free minded. Discounting the idea of killing him and partaking in arson as another day in Hoshigakure. She truly was an odd person. Though he supposed in this line of work that comes by often.

The thoughts of being relatives made him cringe a bit however. It being such a tough subject. Especially since he never even met the girl until now. Considering who all could be a “relative” of his. How big would this sort of topic go? How many people could he consider that. Or would it be more like kinsmen? He wondered on such an idea as she bowed. The girl was intriguing at the very least. Coming across such an individual at this time seemed to do him some good. Getting away from all that involved his life and having a moment just to sit and talk with someone in the comfort of a forest. A luxury Hoshigakure doesn’t offer often with its desert scenery and extreme temperatures.

Kutari would listen to what the girl had to say next. Families not wanting others to know what they could do? That’s somewhat of a fallacy in itself in his own opinion. She was training in front of  a lake with her father exposing her bloodline. If anything that already raises some question in plain sight. Avoiding secrecy entirely. Such an odd thing to say. As it seemed to him if she wasn’t so...resistant she would have tried to kill him now. In that case Kutari wondered how many people she had already killed then. Hiding her secret clan ability poorly and if so having to kill the person who sees it...It’s not a good mix. At least that’s what Kutari would think. He would continue on to listen. It all not fully adding up to Kutari. A family if anything should be expecting their secret to get out if it’s used in such a way in this world. Though soon after she spoke about rubbing in people's faces. Was he doing that? Kutari didn’t assume he was. Making it a big deal for a long length of time sure that could be seen as rubbing it in someones face...Though he only spoke about the Kaguya clan very briefly and went about his day. Sanae still on the topic and wanting to speak on it.

He didn’t fully understand the girl or her thought process. Though he probably should have been more worried about the girl easily throwing around the term kill. As if it was normal to him. Welcoming it even. Could this be apart of the Kaguya dna? Causing you to be insensitive to death and what it had to offer? He had no full clue as he watched her go towards the lake. She suddenly became so relaxed and cool. As if this one topic is very sensitive for her. He could only assume she’s been through a rough amount to the point of where she's paranoid about her clan. If that’s the case, it would only guide her down a bad path if she continues on that way. Guiding as in making her act incorrectly as her thoughts would be elsewhere. Holding her back. Though he wasn’t here to try and teach others. If anything he felt with this girl trying to do such a thing will backfire and she would get upset. He instead stayed quiet and listened until she finished speaking.

Your logic is very interesting. I’ve heard and even seen many clans and just Shinobi boast about their strength and ability to the world. Being proud of their name and who they were. Their background. Using their gifts in combat and achieving victory thanks to the genetic advantage. Though it could be argued that their shouldn’t be books about such individuals or clans...It’s likely to happen. Be it for researching purposes or to invoke fear. Or maybe even caution to those who come across such beings. The people you very well want to protect reading and knowing the signs of when to run or attack. For that reason it can be said this world runs on many things. One being information. Strategist documenting a plethora of knowledge about enemy forces or even allies. In case something happens they know  what to do and how to handle it.

He would continue on, though realizing he’s beginning to try and lecture her. Though he felt like her ideology was flawed. Something about it not being right. She seemed like she was a very fiery individual. Trying not to act on her strong and impulsive thoughts or emotions. And more so wanting to offer some thoughts to her for the future. In case she needed aid or another way to perceive it all. To avoid trouble. With his cold and mellow tone this could possibly be taken wrong. Being a negative trait of himself as he was one to be too blunt at times with his own raw emotions.

Though you may not want others to know about you. Rumors spread. Information gets out. It’s bound to happen. It won’t be good to not expect such a thing. If anything make the most of it. Use the information to your advantage. Use your abilities and create more flexibility for yourself in combat. So when your opponent expects something from you and your bones, you’ll have a new angle to attack that they won’t expect. Being so wrapped up in the information they won’t have time to strike focusing on one outlet to your abilities. As you said somethings may be hidden for families...However. That’s more so on a personal note. Clans are made to unite each other of similar passions and blood. To then come together and fight for whatever they are behind. In the process having their bloodline capabilities exposed...But simultaneously being feared for it. Then on building its legacy.

Kutari would begin to calm down and quiet a tad bit. As his discussion on the topic was coming to an end. He tried to voice to her what he believed and thought to be true. Trying to help in the slightest way so she could look differently at the picture. If not then so be it.

Take it all as you will. It’s bound to happen that others will know about your family and their capabilities. Your ancestors already making it apparent. If anything them being scattered causing more people to know as they participate in different parts of the world. And just… Try not to kill anymore because of it.

His instincts and knowledge about combat and the variety of it has come through many years of studying and simply an open mind. Not realizing it being one of his talents as he studied it constantly and even practiced days on end. Being a dedicated Shinobi to his arts and training. Wanting to see progress and push forward. Not even aware of why he studied these subjects so much and what it all tried to suggest. This knowledge could be seen as frightening to most, especially those who saw him young in years compared to what looked to be experience. Though at this time he didn’t care. He chose to share his thoughts and provide her some comfort and another way of thinking. Regardless she could take it as she would. And either be upset at it or not.

He would look around. The skies darkening. The forest quiet and the temperature lowering far from what it was earlier in the day. The time of day coming to a rest. The waters would look peaceful and lovely at this time. Though he was in no mood to get wet as this girl seemed interested in doing. Still, he would watch the waters. Its calming effects. And the high trees that symbolized vitality and strength. He hadn’t gone punching trees for a day or so. Maybe he’ll have to add it to tonight's regiment. Insomnia was a terrible thing to have. Causing him to run on low hours of sleep but learning how to function on it. Finding things to do at late hours and being a Shinobi dedicated to his craft working out in the end.

In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae] - Page 2 Empty Re: In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae]

Sat Oct 28, 2017 12:33 pm
She was listening while looking out at the lake. He was going on blabbering about what he thought as of right or how she should act or whatever. Above everything else, she did not want to hear it. She did not care what other people said or did. They were not her and she was definitely not them. So the first part of his long monologues just drifted by her without a huge impact. But well then he said something, similar passions and blood well that was wrong at least for the one part, the blood. She and her father had so different interests that one could easily set them apart. Her uncle who had not inherited the blood trait also other interests and not even the abilities, but the name and his birth made him part of the clan, even if he had went on presuming another career. When he was talking it seemed as if nothing meant anything. But she had also met someone scolding her for even introducing herself with her second name so what was it now? Well indeed she did not feel good about the history presented with this name and she did not want to be part of this and she would hate to be associated with this, but she could not help it, she was born this way.

Slowly she turned around to him looking at him her boots and feet kind of being drained in water. The look on her face was puzzled and troubled. She tilted her head and signed. She ran her hand through her hair and loosened the bad again letting the hair drop down shaking her head. She kind of felt like laughing and crying at the same time but could not really differ why. What made her suffer so much with this person in front of her? Her eyes trailing over his face and then closing her eyes for a brief moment before opening them again and looking at him once more. Was he really thinking she would kill persons just because of that? What was all this talking about her place in life had he forgotten it or just at the thought of his life being in danger set aside and made her out to be the bad guy? Well wouldn't it be a perfect fit? A bloodthirsty Kaguya to be the bad guy in this kind of play, although just moments ago she kind of said she was a good guy?

She signed: "I do not kill people because of this, I have never and I don't intent to in the future, but others might, I just wanted to warn you about it. But people like you are the reason why I don't want anyone to know. One moment I can try to be the hero but in the end with just one wrongly sounding word I am the villain in the game. Everything I have said before about protecting people has just vanished from your mind when I said something different. If I came from a family famous for cooking up cotton candy you would not have thought about it that much", she shook her head, "But because you read in a book that ages before everyone in my clan ways evil and bloodthirsty you just assumed I would go around murdering people. Although I never said I have killed anyone, I did not even say I wanted to kill you, but still you made me out to be a murderer!", she had gotten more energetic while talking and she could feel her eyes tearing up. Although she wanted to try and hide it, it did not work.

Tears were rolling down her face and she could feel her body acting up under the stress she was in. Pain ran though it and she reached into her pocket to get out the little tube where she carried around her medicine and she could feel her bones hardening as if the armour could protect her from damage to her heart as well. Sure it could not, but it was worth the try wasn't it. But what it did was consuming calcium at an immense rate so she was fiddling around to get the cap of the box and with shaky hands she poured out two pills and put them into her mouth. She paused for am moment, she had nothing to drink at hand, but there was a whole lake so lucky her. While she just sank to her knees the water starting to sink into her clothes she got some of it in the palms of her had to wash down the pills she just had taken. No she sat there and kind of wanted to just wash away with the water. Maybe this was the reason she was mostly doing stuff alone or learning alone. Maybe everyone feared she was going berserk anytime soon.

Would she even qualify for the aim she had set herself or would she be turned away when she started to make her case about her qualification because her blood was bad? Should she give up? No, she should not but she should get used to it becoming harder because of what happened ages ago, maybe it was not so far from her? Maybe it was still a part of her? How long could she fight it like this?

In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae] - Page 2 Empty Re: In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae]

Sat Oct 28, 2017 11:07 pm
The researcher would listen to the girl. Absorbing all that she said. Seeming as if she was reciting a verse orchestrated from her own heart and feelings. Taking in a long and stressful inhale as she spoke. Only to then after let out this built up stress and become relaxed. Grounding himself as he listened to memorize her words. Wanting to try and understand the girl and what it is she was trying to say. Only to be troubled and confused about the situation at hand.

What she stated wouldn’t add up in the slightest from what she previously said. Now wondering if maybe she wasn’t even sure herself about how she felt or who she was. What she believed in and would fight for. Only seconds before openly stating she was considering killing him. Was this not the exact action she was trying to say she’d never consider? Her words puzzled him. As he became more suspicious of the girl. Wondering what exactly she was saying or talking about. His curious being peaked and wanting to learn more.

Of course, as expected. She refused to listen to him. Or more so took what he said with a grain of salt. He’d think about how to correctly go about speaking to the girl from then on. Wanting his words to reach her rather than just come off as spilled milk. Recalculating his tactics to go about speaking from then on. More mindful of the situation at the very least.

His troubled mindset at a pause as it kicked into overdrive for this individual. It irking him that such a mindset would rest on a person. Thinking so strongly of such a thing he wondered why she would think as such. Once again it all failing to be pieced together. Unless something must come about in her past which caused her to think so firmly.

The forest would begin to be drowned out as Kutari pondered all that was happening. Forgetting where he was and becoming sidetracked. A casual stroll to the lake now becoming a bout between two minds. He hadn’t expected his time here to turn into such a thing. Though he was truthfully willing for it to happen. Gaining joy from debates and having ideas clash at one another. Coming to a verdict. Be it that one side would still keep their opinion, or join the other in thoughts. Though he knew deep down that it would take more than one's opinion to shift a lifeforms beliefs.

Needing valid reasoning and support to finalize such a result. He would continue to watch her to the bitter end of her speech. Having a plethora of questions to ask and to say. But keeping his tongue for her to finally stop and let it all out.

He would be ready to speak before he noticed the girl had already begin crying long into the speech. Or possibly the tears finally streaming down after building up. The eyelids unable to suppress such an overpowering force. He was too invested in the conversation to had even noticed despite watching her speak. Until he was able to see the face of one who would shed tears. It was a sight he wasn’t too fond of seeing. Though who would enjoy seeing that? He supposed such a thought should be discredited. As the girl had been pushed to an emotional wall that caused some sort of trauma to surface.

Did she believe herself to be a victim maybe? Or maybe she felt utterly helpless and had nothing else to do? Being in a situation that called for her to live this way. He had no idea and couldn’t formulate an answer fully. What she was saying and giving him failing to add up without some missing piece to the puzzle. The sight was one that would cause many to look away or feel terrible. As if they were the cause of it all and wanted to fix it. Apologizing and regretting pushing such a girl to a point like that one. Only unlocking a river of horrors that could of tainted such a poor heart.

If that was the case. Then why did he feel nothing? Not even willing to console the girl or apologize. No true bone in his body wishing to redo all that has happened up until now. His harsh stare would continue on as he watched the girl cry. Only feeling a slight numbness and unreasonable aching. This aching sensation brought upon his body needing to move around. The numb feelings due to hitting a wall. This wall grander and more dense than any that would ever come about in his life up until now.

Such pure emotions coming to this wall and attempting to break it down. Only to fade away and add onto its density. Merging with the obstacle and becoming bigger and more sturdy. A magical barrier that grew as it was opposed. Using such instances as experience to become worse and more of a hassle. Increasing its strength and never wavering. If it was to fall, it would mock the foe that defeated it. As its brothers would wait in anticipation for what seemed like a field of protection.

This was the world Kutari inhabited. What he help deeped in his heart. The most classified and rare of locks. The key burnt and warped to another dimension. Now being guarded by an army of pillars and defenses to shield away the feelings of compassion and care. At the very least in a kindhearted and worrying light. Though the small reserves and kindness and love that was protected would not be the reason for such measures of security. The real source to be feared being the same malicious desires that creeped around him.

Unwilling to reason or side with either side. Instead staying neutral and shielding everything away. The same protocol that would happen here. Watching the girl cry and be vulnerable far from arm's reach. He was more worried about the conversation and what he had to say rather than this girl’s mental health. A sick and cruel way of thinking. Though his honesty to himself would cause such a method of thinking. The same kind and polite persona from before wasted away due to the energy depleted and words spoken today. Beating away the shield and now exposing the true armor.

Kutari would be watching her calmly. Swayed in no direction particularly as his cold presence would surface and make it’s mark. Though he would be surprised as the girl fumbled through her pockets as she began to panic. Watching her retrieve some sort of medication to consume. Seeing that the situation was far more serious than what was anticipated previously. He wondered what exactly set her off. What caused the girl to become like this. Her previous adamant and strong nature suddenly ceasing to exist.

Instead being replaced by what seemed to be a weak and feeble person. Relying on medication for whatever it was that came over her. Could it have been an internal issue that caused such misery for the girl? Or was she more sensitive than what she led on for him to believe. She was becoming more of an anomaly by the second. As she fumbled around and tried to consume the pills. Watching her as she seemed to forget entirely about his presence and turning around to the water to drink. It seemed to be quite the emergency if she was pushed to such an extent.

She made no sort of focus on any part of her body that could have resonated such a foul feeling. Causing such discomfort and struggle for herself. Panicking and becoming distraught in the mayhem. He watched her with cold steel eyes as she drank the water. Not even grabbing at a particular body part or area in which the pain began. Or was it even a physical pain? Maybe she relied on the medication for some sort of mental support. Psychologically incapable to a degree and once pushed to such an extent needing aide to come back down.

Regardless he would refuse to look at her with pity. Though his natural exterior suggested the most hateful of thoughts running through his mind. The boy failed to even show some sort of remorse or sadness. Watching her with his typical analyzing qualities. This situation turning into something far from what he was expecting. Instead of being a debate, it was now what seemed to be an attempt at her life. The way she became so riled and animated in the heat of the moment. Almost as if her life was being threatened. Her very existence at odds with itself.

For a moment, Kutari wondered if maybe he should try to help the girl. Even if his feelings or actions weren’t true, it at the very least being considerate and the right thing to do. Though a thought like that would be truly difficult to perceive at this current time. Failing to understand what is right and wrong anymore. Is their a form of right and wrong?

More so doing what you feel is right to your character may be more appropriate. In this instance waiting for the girl to catch her breath and settle down being more important than her health. The fear running through Kutari’s mind as he was incapable of sympathy and worry. More so concerned about the girl not hearing what he had to say as her interests lied in the water. If he talked now then she would just fail to hear him. Being of a choice or a misunderstanding.

He would come closer to her. Still a good length away from her just in case she lashed out. Unsure if she was an enemy at this point on or still had some mind to grasp too. He gave her time to settle down. Uninterested in her health but more so his breath not being wasted. He would begin to speak once the overwhelming sound of water would escape the area. A quiet tone instead replacing it. Then he would speak so she could hear him.

Sidestepping her sudden actions. If she wanted to talk about them sure she can. But he wouldn’t just bring them up to her. In case being embarrassed or having some deep memories not wanting to be shown. If anything it getting away from the true discussion. He watched her still with his hands in his pockets. The black shroud that encircled him mingling with his hardened heart. Looking to be nothing more than an embodiment of darkness. Letting a slight moment of silence run through the air. He would speak smooth and with a serious tone. Wielding no sense of compassion or worry for the girl. More so taking it as if he had to say something. A lesson of sorts.

You speak as if your words wield no consequences or impact to others...Did you not just say seconds ago you were contemplating killing me? Nonchalantly chatting as if it was a casual activity to partake in. Considering my existence as an enemy to your own? Your “intentions” seem clouded. If it was truly that easy to convince you I was worth being killed and seeming to fight your hardest to resist such an act. Rubbing your temples and moving about with irritation...Even if you came from “a family who cooked cotton candy” such actions and words would warrant the same response from me.

The boy’s tone would harden even more as he spoke with a growing bite. What she said made no sense and it irritated him. Trying to blame him for her own errors. He would watch her still being quite some steps away and see what it is she was doing. How she took this all. Uncaring for her previous situation.

Whoever judges you based on your clan’s past is a fool. If you try to scapegoat your own clan’s history to try and hide your own actions and words, you’re a bigger fool. There are no heroes in this world. No one that always aim to protect. Either they disappear never to be heard of again, or become the villain you once respected. You’ll kill one day. You just stated you were willing to kill me. That doesn’t make you a murderer. No..But that doesn’t give you the right to use your clan to brand me as the common folk who try to assume much of you.

Long before this dialogue he would have prepared for the worst. His growing irritation and sleight of hand at the girl reaching a breaking point. His previous persona of being kind and charming ceasing to exist. He was now becoming the monster he wished to hide away. He knew it was already coming, but hadn’t known it would happen in this way.

Though he needed answers now. This girl wasn’t going to simply try to walk over him and talk as if he was incorrect or wrong. Not just claim she would have killed him, and then walk away saying he tried to assume she was a murderer. Being a Shinobi one eventually will have to kill. It’s kill or be killed in his books deep down. She needed to realize this.

As a Shinobi...You may choose to protect. But in this world it’s kill or be killed. That’s what I’ve learned and experienced. You can try to do otherwise but it’ll be pointless in the end. When the time comes for action, the way you protect is by killing those who kill. No longer can you play the victim and try to put the blame on others. If you’re a true Shinobi willing to fight for what you see as right you’ll own up to your faults. And improve them. No more games or avoiding it all. If you’re not ready for this life then so be it. But I will not entertain such tricks.

He was growing to become more sinister and cruel than he ever imagined. His face becoming riddled with anger and spite. A sour hate that those who have been through hell could understand. Watching your own family die during an invasion. Seeing the cruel world for what it was. As his eyes narrowed and the passion for destruction surfaced.

His brow dialing down to follow his eyes as he stared straight at the girl. A mustering hatred escaping from his direction. The body of this boy crinkling and becoming sturdy. The life of a boy who would laugh at the devil to his face. Being a living product of the unfortunate who was at his mercy. Only to come out from the flames of hell and be of this nature.

He was ready now. Watched the girl and waited for some sort of words or actions. If it came down to it he would go about his ways. But he wished not to. Avoiding such a scenario. For now he was done entertaining the game going on here. She would fail to own up to what she has said in the past and instead try to reflect it back at him. Only to upset him more. Trying to hide behind the past of her ancestors.

Screw your clan’s past. Either live with it and make your own history, or continue to be a victim of the bloodsoaked family you were birthed into. You’re a hypocrite if you refuse to move on from the past. If anything you’re the one drowning to it out of the two of us. Snap out of it.

He would refer to the words she spoke to him earlier about family and the past. It only drowning him in the end. Though now he realized. He saw it. She was a prisoner to her own thoughts and beliefs. Either that or ignoring them completely. Not seeing the trend in what she said and herself. Though despite her previous interest being so narrow minded, Kutari would speak with a bigger purpose. To give her an opportunity to turn over a new leaf at the very least. If she refused and continued to act this way then he would move on. At least if he didn’t become more annoyed.

The passion in his heart fragile as what she said now would decide what happened after. How this encounter would end or possibly continue. If she didn’t change or at least consider it, he would up and leave. Sick and tired of trying to what seemed like look after a child’s mind. Not to disrespect her, but as a Shinobi he had a purpose. No longer able to think like a kid or have a child’s mindset. He was the last of his immediate family. No ties. A lonesome cloak that drifted aimlessly alone. And for this reason he could only give so much before it was time to let go.

Kutari would give her a few moments to speak. If at any moment going south he would leave. Excluding himself from this whole situation and instead becoming adrift. If she tried to have an attitude at the reasonable feelings of Kutari then so be it. But she had to realize for herself what she was doing. How in the end it would only hinder her. This being a way that Kutari was able to help others. Not with kindness and compassion, but hard truth and toughness.

He hadn’t realized where the time had gone. Once again seconds turning into minutes and then some. The skies urgency to get through the day and progress to night. Instead the night air tailoring itself to match the tone that was encompassing the area. Becoming darker and more like a nightfall dusk. The air feeling more stiff at the heating conversation, at least to Kutari.

The area fitting more of a “spooky” vibe as its eery tone overcame the area. Cricketing beginning to chirp and disregard the conversation happening beside the lake. Instead going about their lives and doing their role in life. He would still watch the girl barely noticing the transition of night as he looked troubled and riled up.

Internally a storm was raging about. Kutari having lost the mask he was wearing. Now the sheer existence of his true self surfacing and staying true to his own role. His feelings and way of living. It felt so right. So correct. True to himself and all that he stood for. Working for himself and looking out for who he was. Not even worrying about others. Just being on his own. As if the lock had been undone. A lot easier then what all the security was for. Or maybe this was what he wanted. A chance to be himself again. To be what he truly was and live by that code. He couldn’t understand it, or more so refused to understand how he was feeling.

If he thought about it going back to how he felt before. Just lost and concerned over things that he wasn’t truly invested in. At this moment he lived. Kutari being alive and well. The shell from before abandoned and lost to the abyss oozing out of his soul. It overjoyed him that he could stay true to who he was. As he watched the girl for movements or any words. Noticing the trend and the words he saying only after what was stated. As it was who he was and what his heart said. Not what he “wanted to state”. A sudden flame being lit inside of him as it channeled his true being.

In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae] - Page 2 Empty Re: In the Time of Despair[P,NK,Sanae]

Even with all the thought the young man had put in mind he did seem to miss the simplest things putting them in places where they did not belong and therefore made false assumptions on the case before him. Where she wanted him to know other would tent to do dangerous stuff if he implied to know more than was good for him, he made out, that she was talking about herself. If she was she would have been quite bad at it warning him before hand and not just killing him. But why would he take something like this into consideration, because he also only heard what he wanted to hear and not what he really heard. This had been quite irritating her as well and therefore this conversation would go on and on and on without anyone being right ever, because as much as he would not think she was listening to what he or she said, he was not as well or making up his own things to hear about. So in the end both of them were in a spiral down to somewhere else where they did not come back from that easily. Would she now make her first enemy in this, just because he was so self absorbed and arrogant that he did not really listen to her or at least to the words she said. Or did she really say those things.

Since she had not turned her back at him like he implied but just kneeled in the water she was quite able to look at him this whole ordeal long. She was quite sure to never have said what he implied she said, although if one wanted, those words could indeed be made up from what she said. Also there was something about the need to kill what he said. Well she had said she had never killed for the reason he stated. She had never killed someone because he knew too much about her clan. But other than that she knew she killed people. But it was always a kind of no choice situation. Not killing them would have resorted in being killed by them, but still he was making her out for someone who did not see the importance of that? Why did he think he could put this kind of judgement upon her and even that without really listening to her or even himself and his own attitude that seemed to be putting everything he said above people's words and believes?

She looked at him and hit her face with some water as it rand down she resorted to a dulled down smile. She was smiling, but the feelings conveyed in it were none existing. She was just raising her mouth angel and looking at him before talking after he had finished his recent triad of useless talking that just seemed to repeat itself in what he thought she said and what she did not think of as said by her. After he had finished she looked at him and said as calm as it could possibly be in this moment: "You are missing one point here, even if you have interpreted my talking as a threat to you I have not ever in our conversations said that I, meaning me in person had ever the intent of killing you, I remember to even do otherwise, pointing out that I took the time to know the why's and what's in it to conclude to not do so", she put the first thing that was bothering her on the table knowing he would not agree on it, but well it was her point and if he did not want to he did not need to agree, but this was the way she saw it.

After this she got up from where she sat, the water dripping from her everywhere she put the calcium pills back in her pocket and looked at him squinting her eyes a little to see through water and tears: "And on the contrary I have indeed already killed people in fights where I could not take prisoners, because this is sometimes the only choice one gets while protecting his village, what I wanted to point out, that I do not run around  killing people in my village or even do it for fun as it was known to be done by my ancestors, I may have used the wrong words to describe that as well but how would I know I am up against a quibbler who took everything for what it could be, rather than what it bluntly was, I am very sorry for the time I have cost you, if there is not another thing you want to tell me I am doing wrong, saying wrong, thinking wrong I will now have my leave, dinner should be ready by now."

She was trying to hold back the salt and bitterness inside her, but then again why should she. Wait yes she should because he would take up on it. So everything she said was conveyed with the empty smile of hers as she made two steps out of the water looking at him in a kind of ignorance? No it was not ignorance but resentment maybe or exhaustion. She never wanted something to end in a fight, but whatever happened here in this few short minutes of conversation that felt like an eternity something had happened and she was not sure how to fix them. She wanted to, but he was making anything she said sound so different than she thought of them so maybe he did not want to end this on a good note? If that was the case and since he seemed to drain joy out of it, this was a lost cause but well maybe, only maybe. Seeing other suffer made him happy and therefore her suffering because she could not get him to understand what she wanted to say was kind of a good thing. At least she could convince herself to it. At least in her mind one of them could be happy walking away from this and the other one would maybe just need to refrain from talking more than a polite hello and goodbye after this. At least that at most times could not be taken the wrong way or could it?

She waited for some moments to pass her by but it did not seem as if there would be something else coming from it so she then decided she had waited long enough for him to say. But as it seemed he was to remain silent for some reasons for sure. Whatever it was, maybe he was already frightening, that she would cut him in halve or something. She shrugged because she did not really know what to do about it. "So be it then", with a formal bow the young shinobi excused herself. "I hope the next time we cross paths it will be more pleasant or at least less unpleasant", she said and made her way out of the reservoir.
