As the events unfold before him which begin this spar, Satoru has not quite worked out any of his possible courses of action. Yet, he is faced with an immediate offensive which forces him to act. In front of him, a bird of prey speeds towards his position. This bird then transforms into the figure of his human companion. This change prompts Satoru to change his perception. This is not a bird but a human capable of performing attacks a human is capable of performing. Then, to add to this information, a shuriken can be seen travelling much faster than his oncoming attacker. This shuriken flies in a curve around the head-on aggressor and poses a more immediate threat. Satoru takes the following actions to avoid injury and perform a counter attack.

First, upon the charge of the bird, Satoru activates a technique which shrouds his body in a thin layer of static electricity. A dim blue glow emanates from his body and reaches no more than a few millimeters from the surface of his clothes. With this done first, Satoru proceeds to remove a kunai from his pocket. It is used to block the kunai approaching him. As it makes contact first, Satoru then waits in a ready stance to deal with the form approaching him from the front.

It becomes Satoru decision to leap out of the way by the time the person in front of him arrives before him. He will leap to his left by three meters at a speed of 30. Following this, he slowly backs up from the bird in human form, armed with his kunai and holding it before him in a defensive fashion. These are the end of his actions.

The attacks Tsume and Haku made where not in vain. Although nothing hit, the duo found out things about both of them. One is that Satoru had some sort of shield up, his best guess was that it was the lightning element with glow and the general flow. Next was that Miyamoto was faster than he appeared. Some great speed was needed for dodging his shuriken, so he wasn't any normal kid. In fact, he might as well call him his equal for even more than his equal. Either way, Tsume felt almost insulted when Miyamoto charged at him with the much less speed from before and was attempting a simple slap. Tsume, quickly reacting, pulled out his Kanata from its sheath and made a swiping motion, that if not countered dodged, would chop off his hand. Which would really contradict the statement Miyamoto made. Although, the Chokyoshi was still a bit warm-hearted enough to hope that Miyamoto would dodge or counter.

As for Haku, he was in full assault still. But not blind attacks, strategic ones. He was still testing his speed, which so far seemed to be faster than his own. But that didn't mean Haku was out of options. His plan although required a strategic retreat. The clone effect with a puff of smoke, and he was back to his bird self. Now that he was in that form, was able to fly. Using that natural talent, he took off 30 meters into the air (speed 17). If he was able to reach 30 meters, then he would just circle the air, like a vulture looking for some tasty prey.

The flash of the blade was easy enough to spot as Miyamoto began to think of what he would do next. Though it all seemed in a quick succession of moves, in his head they were moving like they were caught in molasses. The blade moving at a speed of 30 was not enough to make him flinch, and though he was confident in his ability to take the hit. It was not the time to show his cards still, but he had to make some form of show otherwise his actions up till now would be for the fools.

A quick ram seal would do the job just nicely as he activated the body flicker technique. He instantly teleported at a speed of 195, behind the boy. If he was able to see his quick movement it would be at the careless mistake of Miyamoto. If he succeeded in his body flicker he would then use the snake seal to mark his next move, still taking advantage of the speed he would move as fast as he could before outstretching his arm to touch Tsume (speed of 100) as he activated the added weight technique. (Power of 40, must have higher health stat to avoid being immobilized for three posts). If Tsume were to be caught in the technique then Miyamoto would chuckle.

“You actually do have some killing intent, good I was beginning to think that you would let me just hit you...I like it, make sure you don’t let anger guide your swing though. Always go with the flow.. Let me see what the other kid can do, try not to move much. I will let you out soon, I promise.” Miyamoto said truthfully as he got a pretty good gauge of Tsume.

However, if by some chance he were to be countered then Miyamoto would clap happily before his eyes came alight as if he were a kid that just got a new toy. He would pop his joints and look at them both. No words, just waiting their next move.

He would turn his sight on Satoru though and point at him with that same smile. “Now let’s see your killing intent.”

The course of action which Satoru expected to be taken by his current opponent leave his mind as he watches what this bird in human form proceeds to do instead. He would transform back into a bird and directly ascend. At this, with a deep breath, Satoru would dissipate his Lightning Javelin technique and perform three hand seals. The result of this would be a dim white glow from the soles of his sandals. His next course of action would be to dart to his right at a speed of 21. In this direction is a tree which Satoru will proceed to dash upon upward. His eyes remain set on the bird.

Satoru also hears the words of Miyamoto as he says he would like to see Satoru's more lethal techniques. At this moment, he says to himself that he possesses few if any lethal jutsu aside from his ability to enhance his body with lightning chakra. However, the shadow possession technique in the right hands is certainly lethal.

"Ok. I have one jutsu that might fit your description." Satoru says, intending to descend after a lunge to an adjacent tree through the bird target's flight path. This would be done with a kunai knife in an attempt to strike at the bird. Upon landing on the second tree, Satoru will dash down and proceed to run towards Miyamoto while performing the ram seal.

All the while this is happening, it is important to note the lack of sound coming from Satoru's steps. The jutsu he had equipped earlier in which a white aura appeared beneath his sandals cushions his steps and quiets them drastically.

With the performance of the ram seal, Satoru's shadow extends ahead of him at a speed of 30 towards Miyamoto's own shadow.

Tsume's strike would have been success towards any normal person, which Miyamoto was anything but. With a body flicker that couldn't even be seen with Haku's eyes, the chunnin appeared behind Tsume and placed a hand on him and activated an unknown jutsu. The element was unclear to Tsume but the effect was noticed instantly. The Chokyoshi was now a lot heavier and was unable to move any of his limbs, struggling was even useless as there was nothing to escape from, he was just heavier. Miyamoto commented on his intent to kill was indeed impressive, but Tsume was just focusing on if he could use anything to get him out. There was nothing he could do. Luckily Miyamoto focused on Satoru. Unluckily, Satoru seemed to want to get Haku. But Tsume trusted Hakucho, he believed in his best friend. 

Since Hakucho was in the air, watching from the sky like the bird he was, he spotted everything. The immobilization of Tsume and Satoru's attack attempt. Since the winged ninja predicted his movement, Hakucho was able to fly forward to escape the areal strike and also get closer to Tsume. Satoru might not know this but when Hakucho was in the sky, he was in control. Haku was able to get into 10-meter range from Tsume, signalling that he needed to be transformed, which Tsume saw and did. They had practising transforming without any hand signs, so they didn't need any. Hakucho then stood at the ready for both Miya and Satoru, he was ready to defend himself and Tsume.

Miyamoto stood there as he let Satoru do his thing. A smile spread across his face as he saw the ram seal being used, he immediately looked around the area to see if he could catch a glimpse of what the kid was using. A smile spread across his face as he felt something take hold of him, it was more like a bad feeling than an overriding of one's senses.

"Oh I see how it is gonna be, this is going to be fun," Miyamoto said as it felt like he was being compiled into mimicking Satoru's movement. His eyes quickly caught the sight of the bird that seemed to be able to take the shape of its partner, Tsume. It looked at them both and seemed ready to defend its partner.

"Hey! birdbrain, you do not have anything to worry about from me. I won't attack a defenseless Genin, however, I would like to see what you and the one that has some sort of unknown effect on me can do when you work together," He said with a sly smile that would show he was definitely up to something.

Satoru keeps this fact in mind: Miyamoto is stronger than both himself, Tsume, and Hakucho combined. So, when the shadow imitation technique lands and Miyamoto proceeds to mimic the actions of Satroru, a genuine shock enters his mind. It is as if he is raising an eyebrow in his head, having worked through the immediate future events before acting and not at all seeing this happen. In reality, Satoru's shadow assault was meant to be a distraction as Satoru would proceed to weave hand seals for a substitution technique and appear in some location behind and above Miyamoto. However, this does not happen. Instead, he quickly creates a new course of action.

And this creation of a new course of action would be completed just before Satoru realizes that this technique is no easy feat to keep under control for any stretch of time. The shadow imitation jutsu consumes chakra reserves and stamina at a fast rate, too fast for Satoru to keep the jutsu active for much longer. Seeing no better way to save his chakra reserves, he detaches his shadow from Miyamoto's. At the same time, expecting to face a situation involving close combat, Satoru activates his lightning javelin technique. A blue glow that is quite dim and difficult to see begins to emerge from his skin and clothing. His muscular speed and strength have increased in order to make an attempt to match Miyamoto's physical capabilities.

The kunai held in Satoru's hand is also held at the ready in a defensive stance in order to react to whatever incoming attack is to be attempted. His attention also remains in part with the immobilized Tsume and the traveling Hakucho.

It seemed that Satoru's imitation jutsu effected Miyamoto but not completely. Hakucho still stood at Tsume's side while this went down, it all changed when Miyamoto called Haku bird brain and saying to work with Satoru. It's not that Haku or Tsume disagreed, but he wasn't just about to let Miya get away with calling him something like that. It was only insulting because Haku had a brain better than any average bird, to call him something like that was demoting him. But Tsume knew that Haku might think that it was an insult. "Don't let him get to your head, we can teach him a lesson without getting drunk on anger from a stupid insult." This, luckily, snapped Haku out of the rage and he began analysing. 

Saturo already started his next assault, another lightning style. This seems to greatly increase his speed as he charged at the chunin with much higher speeds. Haku wasn't about to charge like Sato did, he was going to wait until Tsume was free from the jutsu, his reaction time would be about to spot Miyamoto normally, so he was fairly confident  Once the jutsu was broken, Tsume and Hakucho could go for their double assault, and if Saturo joined, it would be triple assault.

Miyamoto looked at the three of them with a smirk on his face as he noticed each of their actions.  First Satoru performed some technique he had a vague understanding of only due to his own technique that was similar.  Then with Tsume still locked in his weighted prison, his partner seemed to be the one on point.  If all was well he could upkeep the added weight for another few minutes, but it all relied on what the pair before him did in the next moment.  When it looked like his words got in the head of the feathered partner of Tsume, Miyamoto gave a laugh. 

"Seems that the two of you still have some growing to do.  Let me teach you."  He said as he performed three handseals as fast as he could. (Speed 105) Dog, Horse, and Tiger.  Once finished, ten.45 meter radius heads popped up around him, taking on the form of mythological oni as they glowed with brilliant fire while spreading around him.  

"These ten heads hold the power to level the area around us up to ten meters.  One explosion could send you to the hospital if not mortally wound you.  This is a test to see the teamwork of the two of you,"  He said pointing to the fake Tsume and glowing Satoru.  "If you two can attack me and make me acknowledge your attack without me killing the person held down by my previous technique, then I will let you in on a little secret.  So let's begin!"  He would finish as he would will the ten heads to fly out at a speed of 45 in a swiping motion like a tail.  (If disturbed they will detonate, a power of 45 and blast radius of 1.2 meters)

A spark of inspiration has flickered in Satoru. He has had this technique on deck, known and ready to use for some time but never possessed the instrument required in order to perform it. But now, for some odd reason, it occurs to him. He need not a conventional fan to perform this wind release technique. No, branches with leaves upon them will suffice quite nicely.

So, Satoru does just this. As quickly as is possible for him and without moving his legs, he simply reaches to one direction and pulls a branch from a tree. This branch has other smaller branches coming off of it and these possess leaves. Overall, this construct of nature is one that will work well in fulfilling the basic functions of a conventional fan.

With this implement, Satoru proceeds to wave his arm in one motion. He channels chakra through the air with it and causes a gust of wind to blow by. This wind is controlled so as not to disturb the flaming oni as they float. Instead, this gust of wind surrounds Miyamoto alone and spirals upward. This power may or may not lift Miyamoto above the ground. This power also may or may not create cuts upon Miyamoto's clothing. It is weak but not so weak that it would be unnoticeable.

These actions would occur as Satoru moves in whatever way necessary in order to avoid coming into contact with the oni of fire floating in the area. Seeing as how they are made of fire, he prefers not to touch them in any way.

At least, this is what Satoru would do had he not tried it first and failed. No, the sickle weasel technique cannot be used with a branch with leaves. Without a fan, the technique cannot be correctly channeled and thus its execution fails. Satoru stands there foolishly, waiting for the wind to do something but nothing happens. So, bouncing back, he simply dashes forward, dropping the branch and using the kunai to slash generically at Miyamoto. He makes sure to avoid any floating flaming oni. His lightning javelin jutsu is still active so he is faster and stronger than normal.
