Roys Training
Mon Dec 04, 2017 9:54 pm
Roy decided that since he was in the leaf village for the time being he would try to do some training on his own. HE figured that he was all alone in hostile territory and with nothing to do but wait for orders. Since it was pretty clear that Kirigakure ninja were able to roam freely about the city Roy would head to the legendary training grounds to find a nice quiet place to train a new technique.
Roy still wasn’t sure what he wanted to do with his ninja career or if he even wanted to have a ninja career in the first place. But for the time being Roy should know how to do some basic, academy level techniques before he did anything else. He knew that his time to do a graduation into becoming a genin was coming up soon so just in case he would make sure he knew any and all of those techniques if he was required to do them. The first on his list would be sure to master the generic sealing technique. The idea and the principle were simple to Roy but now he just had to make sure that he did it in practice. Roy would go the training grounds in the afternoon after making sure that he knew exactly what he needed to do to make it work. HE would read up on a few lessons on the technique as well as a look at pictograms to make sure that he would be able to replicate it.
When Roy got to the training grounds he would continue to study up on the technique for the bit before finding a few logs and other things to which he would be able to put his seal on. He would remember his training with the technique at the academy quite well. First he would begin to channel his chakra into the palms of his hands. This was where he was going then use his hand to expend the charka to be putting the seal on the objects in question.
After doing so he would then continue on his way to the log in question. With the chakra at the ready on his palm he would place his hand on the log and then release the chakra into the object. Letting go of the log he would see a fient glow of chakra followed by a small dot the size of a pea on the long. If he closed his eyes he could feel his chakra on the location that he put his mark on the log. Roy would indeed be pleased with his results as this showed that he had mastery over this technique. He would clean up the area which he was training and head back into the center of the village where he would look for a place to stay and then find somewhere to eat for the night. Training was not Roys strong suit, but he could be used to being proud of himself.
[I did 500 words of training. So Id like to purchase the Generic sealing technique, do I also get stats as well?]

Re: Roys Training

Roy decided that since he was still in the leaf village and still awaiting some sort of direction he would continue to do some training. After all it was the best place and under the right stress levels that training could come naturally to any person. He would begin his morning by thanking the kiri allied villagers in the city that housed him for the night and proceeded to head on his way to the training grounds to begin learning another technique. The leaf village was famous for their ninja that were able to put users under fantastic and great genjutsu without the user even knowing that the genjutsu was even placed on them. It was going to be a big shame if said genjutsu would be put on Roy and he would have to do something against his own will. Nevertheless he knew that if he had any chance of making sure that he didn’t fall prey to genjutsu he would have to learn the genjutsu release technique.
It was something that he was taught at his time at the academy but it wasn’t anything that the ninja there wanted to put into practice for the young students of the ninja art. They figured that if they were put under a genjutsu at such a young age they realized that it might mess with their psyche in a way that would be dangerous to the village and to the ninja. Since the village needed all the village that it had and all the villagers that it could they decided to let the students themselves decide if they wanted to learn the technique.
Roy had no need to learn the technique before now but as mentioned earlier learning the technique would be of vital importance to the young ninja. He would head to the village training grounds and approach some of the ninja there to lend him a hand with some training. He didn’t tell them that he was a kiri student but they agreed to help him regardless. With some slight preparation the genjutsu caster would put Roy into a genjutsu and he would attempt to release it. The first technique was visual and roy would have to make sure that he stared directly into his eyes for this work. The technique put Roy grasped into the roots of the tree and unable to move but his hands. Roy would center his chakra onto his mind and do the tiger hand sign. In a quick motion he would thrust all of his chakra into his brain to release the genjutsu hold. The first few times that he did it the release didn’t work and he would have to try again. But after a bit of coaching from himself and a bit more focus Roy was able to release the hold that the ninja had on him. The auditory one was much easier for Roy to handle. Perhaps because it was an inferior technique or possibly because it was something that Roy was naturally talented at dodging.
With that done Roy thanked the ninja that were helping him out with training and heading back to the village to find a place to stay for the night. He felt guilty trying to go back to the place that he had stayed earlier in the week so he looked for another place to stay. Sadly by the time that he was back in the village from the training grounds most of the shops and homes were closed or just about to close. So it was going to be very difficult for Roy to find somebody to let him in for the night. He thought about going to the hokages chambers but he felt as though it might appear desperate and could get him in trouble by both villages at the same time. Oh well. The night was warm and the air was crisp and clean here. A park bench or someplace of the like could be the best place for him to sleep right now.
And so it was done. Roy found himself a bench atop a small hill and decided to rest there. He was under a light source with few to no people walking about the village at this time. HE had hoped a guard wouldn’t come over to make him get up and leave. So was the village during this time where there was an enemy village occupying their space. Either way Roy was able to get himself to sleep and when he awoke it was morning. Either no person cared to make him get up and move or nobody actually looked around to find him. Either way he was awake and ready to start another day here in the hidden leaf village. But as soon as he had gotten up he had learned that there was a slight problem…
His clothes were filthy. He had realized that while sleeping on top of a hill was fine and dandy he was too hard of a sleeper to realize all the dew and wind that would pick up dirt and cling to his clothes. This was not good news since he was supposed to be a dignified and acceptable ninja of the village. HE needed to look his best at all times for fear that he might be embarrassing to the Mizukage. Roy panicked for a minute but then he realized that there was a way for him to be OK. He remembered once getting very dirty during a spar with a classmate back at his village. He noticed how the ninja used his chakra to clean his clothes before returning back into the classroom. There was no other option as the ninja had no change of clothes and not nearly enough money. Roy would center his chakra around his body and have it radiate through his skin. After he opened his eyes and too his amazement Roys clothes were actually clean! He was ready to go through his day!

Re: Roys Training
Wed Dec 06, 2017 2:52 pm
A strange thing happened while Roy was in Konoha. While he was training and waiting for orders Roy began to feel his reality being tucked away to another place. Not another plane or another dimension but to a place far beyond that of the ninja world. In the densest part of the deepest forest lies a place where the wise and timeless owls of the world reside. These beings are both majestic and powerful; each of these attributes goes hand in hand to making sure that the world’s thoughts and knowledge remain intact. Roy did not find out all of this information on purpose but it finding out about this truth was the one way that his ninja journey changed forever.
His spiritual journey began when he was still in Konoha waiting for orders from his superiors on what to do in the village. While he was still registered as a ninja student by standards of the ninja world he had a lot of freedom to do as he wished while he was still in the village hidden in the leaves. His superiors were nowhere to be found for almost a week. He was waiting for something to do by them but were probably all busy trying to make sure that village that was now under kirigakure control was in a state of stability. There was no need to burden an academy student with almost no ninjutsu skill to do anything except maybe cause problems. At least that was what roy thought was the issue right now. The village needed all the attention it could get from people that were much stronger than Roy was.
One day Roy was roaming around the village. He was greeting peoples feet as he normally does and thinking about how his life was going to change once he returned to Kirigakure. He would probably have to advance his training at a much faster rate due to the stress he would have as a villager that was defending two villages now. Either way he would roam the village looking for something to do with his day. He went out and spent some money on some good food for once. He still had a bit of extra pocket cash to pay for that but not nearly enough to survive off of for another few weeks. If this lasted any longer he wouldn’t be able to survive just on the kindness of others alone. Roy knew that he was on the clock as it were to find a someplace stable to go to if not head back to Kiri soon. He was not sure how his superiors would take him leaving suddenly if he did though. It could prove a problem if he couldn’t get in the touch with them. Either way he headed to the training grounds to do some training of some techniques he needed to brush on before the genin exam. If he was ever going to get a genin exam he would have to know as many of the academy jutsu that were available to him as possible. There were a few more that he wanted to work on. The next of which would be some basic medical ninjutsu that would be taught just in case we got hurt trying to train. Training all the time there were bound to be some cuts and scratches along the way that a bandage took too long to heal around and the teachers at his school decided that this would be a valuable technique for any ninja that had more than enough real life applications to be taught rather than something like the genjutsu release which was up to the individual students discretion whether or not they wanted to learn.
Roy would head to the training grounds to find a place to train. He decided that he was going to try to do a spar with another student and then use his knowledge of the jutsu to heal whatever injuries he sustained while training with him. Today he was in luck because at least some of the students either had the day off or the teachers were out being trained by their new masters from kirigakure. He would find a boy that was about his height and his age and asked him if he and Roy could do a bit of sparring to practice their movements. The boy thankfully agreed to Roys request and the two moved to a quieter part of the training grounds for the time being. After a ceremonial bow and a bit more chat between the two boys the spar began. The Boy would start by hitting a few blows of his own onto Roy; first a kick in the chest and then a punch to the jaw. Both were able to be countered by Roy didn’t have the fighting experience to make it happen. He didn’t have the balance or the movement speed to dodge the attacks at this moment like he wanted it to. So he took the hits which was fine for him. It gave him an opportunity to make sure that he had just the basics of medical ninjutsu down for genin exam. After a bit more sparring with the boy Roy thanked him for his time and told him that he had to be on his way. After they parted ways he did the necessary hand seals: boar, then rat, then snake in quick succession. It stung for a bit for the chakra that he was using to heal the areas affects but in a few moments the ninja would feel his body recover from the damage that he had taken from the two blows that his sparring opponent got onto him. This made joy smile in approval because even after all that he had seen ninja do the ability to heal himself and others was always a sight to behold.
After he finished up with a few more light exercises Roy decided that it was time for him to do some walking around the training grounds to the nearby forests in within the city walls of Konoha. They were vast and beautiful places to behold no doubt but it was easy to either get lost in them or spend your whole day in there. It was almost the forest had a genjutsu placed onto. Roy went walking into the forest not thinking about any of that. He just wanted to get away from the city and all the people for a bit. He liked it when he was alone for long periods of time because it gave him time to think about himself on a deeper level while he was in tune with nature. It was nice and it gave Roy some peace of mind if only for a moment. Roy walked down through the pathways and small trails leading into the deep forested sections where the trail was not so easily found. He kept on going just looking for someplace to be completely alone from the world. He just wanted to think.
He found that place after what seemed like hours to him in this forest even though the sun didn’t move by maybe an hour in its location in the sky. The young student found a fallen tree, large enough to be a house, near what Roy assumed had to be the center of the forest. There were birds chirping and the trees rustling as their leaves moved with the wind. It was truly a beautiful scene to behold. Roy would lie down on the tree covered with moss and just look up at the canopy almost completely covered by large trees and their leaves. Roy continued to look up while he thought about everything going on and then out of nowhere, in Roy’s mind, did his eyes close and he feel into a deep sleep. It was some of the best sleep that Roy had ever felt. It was calm and collected and he felt as though he was soaring in the clouds and feeling freer than he had ever felt.
When he finally awoke from his slumber is now night time. The moon was bright shining right below him and the light actually was the thing that woke Roy up. Roy would get up from the tree trunk and jump down onto the ground. When his feet touched the ground he could feel the immense sounds of hundreds of owls chirping all in simulation. All of them did their hooting at the same time and after his eyes began to adjust to the darkness he could see many of them perched up on branches above him. To roys amazement there were all just staring at him and nothing more. Roy would move closer to some of them, a few that were standing on some branches just a few meters away from where roy was, and he held his hand out. Roy would assume like most animals that they would fly away as the boy got closer to them. But that was not the case. Roy saw that instead they leaned into Roys hand as he got closer to touch them. The one that he touched first, a small pygmy owl, would rub its head against Roys fingers as though he was trying to have Roy subdue an itch. Giggling a bit Roy would give into his boyish nature and begin to pet the small creature. Suddenly the owl would begin to giggle himself and then say. “Hey Hey that tickles stop.” The owl would say to Roy in a slightly high toned British accent. As roy heard that he would jump back what seemed to be almost a meter in sheer shock.
“Did, did you just talk to me.” Roy would respond.
“Yes, yes I did, did you stop scratching my spot?” The owl would respond.
“Well, yeah, you gave me a fright. I didn’t know owls could talk.” Roy would say almost laughing at his own statement.
“Ha, well not all of them, all of us do. Come on then. Follow me”
The owl would fly down onto the ground and begin walking down a pathway that Roy was almost sure didn’t exist until just now. Things were starting to get very trippy here in the leaf village. Roy didn’t move. He was still freaked out about why the owl just spoke to him and then just ordered him to move around. This isn’t how the world should work Roy thought. After the owl got just beyond a meter away from Roy he would swivel his head almost 180 degrees around and look at Roy almost directly in the eyes.
“Come on now we don’t have all night here. Lets go. “The owl would say in a hurried voice. And at that point Roy would then find himself running right behind the owl. When Roy was closer to the owl it would begin to fly and move a bit quicker down the path. As and he passed through the path he would take notice of everything that was around him. On each side of him were more owls as well as large totems depicting different species of owls. There were tens of totems all lining this pathway and then covered in vines and trees around it as well. It was truly a sight to behold.
As they walked forwards Roy saw that the trees began to lighten up as the moon began to reflect a large pool of water. The water in the pond was almost glowing in the bask of the moonlight here. And that the path he was on was just one of many other paths that we all leading to the same place. At the head of this point was a large hut which Roy was being taken to by the small owl. Once they reached the steps leading up to the door the owl turned around and raised up one of its wings. “Wait here now” It said as it went through the door and into the dark room beyond. IT was only a few awkward minutes as Roy could see thousands of large and small owls doing a great sort of things. Some were eating, others were drinking out of the pond, some were walking, and others were flying. Some of them were in pairs or groups while others were flying solo around certain totems or buildings. It was awesome to see in Roy’s eyes. It was a menagerie of birds.
Soon after the owl that was escorting him came back through the door and waved to Roy. “Come in now.” He would say as he walked back into the hut. As roy walked through the doors he was greeted by a much larger owl in the center of a massive Foyer. At the doors were two more owls far larger than even it was standing guard at the door way. Once Roy got through the doors the owls behind him now would close it tightly and stand watch over the student.
Upon Closer inspection of the owl that was in the center of the room saw that he was indeed blind. His feathers were greyed and his talons were long and looked very sharp.
“I am Mshi” The Blind owl would say. “You are in the presence of the illustrious owls of the Lunatic Forest.” Roy chucked a bit at that as the name of the forest was clearly a play on words. He could sense the younger owls frustration as it glared up at him so he put another serious face on.
“You were not chosen to come here only by chance were the right circumstances met for you to arrive. Fate has brought you were and now you were be our guide to the outside ninja world.” The owl would say.
“And say I refuse your offer?” Roy would ask the older owl.
“Then we will eat you.” The older owl would say. Roy didn’t know if the owl was joking or kidding but the younger smaller owl seemed to put a grin on his face as heard that come out of the other owls mouth.
“Ok… then what is it you have me do?” Roy would say.
“Sign our contact. In exchange for giving is information about the outside the world we will aid you when you need our help. We are scholars here, but my warrior owls can aid you in battle and my healing owls can create balms to sooth your wounds.”
“It sounds like a really don’t have a choice. Deal.” Roy would say. He didn’t know exactly what to think about this situation but he figured he might as well go along with it.
When Roy agreed the younger pygmy owl weaved its wings together like a hand sign and in an instant its wing grew to be ten times larger.
“My name is KLah, your contract will be on my wing. Sign it with your blood.”
Roy bit his thumb and blood came pouring out. HE signed his name on the wing and once he finished the owl shook for a moment and then its wing returned to its original state.
“Use the summoning jutsu when you have any new information on the outside world. Klah here will be your liason between me and you. You have my thanks in advance.” After that speech Klah reached out his wing in the form of a handshake. When Roy went to grab it the young owl moved to have his head under Roys palm. After a bit of petting he saw the owl weave a hand sign. “Release” The owl would say and in an instant he returned back to the hidden leaf village. With blood still dripping from his thumb he used the healing ninjutsu he practiced earlier to mend the wound. It was nearly sunset when Roy returned to the city. He was sleeping under the stars again tonight.

[I did 2600+ Words of Training. I would like to purchase Basic Medical Ninjutsu and then I made a contract with the Illusionary Owls that I dubbed to be in the Lunatic Forest. I couldn't find much other than the app on the summon so I hope its OK that I flavored them out a bit. I also would like 13(?) Stats of training as well? Thank you!]

While training in the hidden leaf village Roy decided that it would best that he train a technique that used taijutsu to block incoming physical attacks. It of course wasn’t anything special but it something that he picked up on with a spars with some of the other students in the village. A block that used his hands to guard his face and head from incoming attacks could be useful in a whole bunch of situations. When Roy would have to go inevitably go into combat and his chakra reserves were all depleted he would have to use his taijutsu to make sure that he didn’t lose when the fight was almost over.
Roy would head to the training grounds early in the morning to find a place with a lot of people to help him train his new technique. People in the land of fire tended to be very early risers with the sun which was something that Roy was not. He was more of a night owl as it were and that caused him to be sort of an outcast in this village. Nevertheless he got the strength necessary to get up early enough to be there just as the rest of the students of the village would come to train. He found a boy that he had a sparred with earlier in the week and asked him if he would able to help him out with learning a new technique. Again either through fear that the kiri student would tell his superiors that a leaf ninja was disobeying the orders of a mist ninja or though just being nice the boy agreed to help Roy out.
The two then found another space in the village training grounds to begin their spar. All Roy had the young ninja do was attempt to hit Roy in the chest and in the stomach so that he could practice this blocking technique. The boy agreed after a bit of hesitation; the leaf student didn’t know if this was a trick or not but after some convincing by Roy the student readied a position to attack.
Roy would do the fundamentals of the technique while the boy would try to attack. He would use his arms and hands to block the boys attacks by crossing them in an X formation and then exerting a bit more energy into making sure that he didn’t get pushed back. The main drawback of the technique was the Roy would still be getting hit but he was at least softening the blow. Roy and the student would practice for a few hours before Roy asked to stop. His arms were all bruised and beaten by the relentless attacks being struck by the other ninja. The two bows ceremoniously to say their goodbyes and the two went their separate ways. Roy would use some basic medical ninjutsu to heal the bruising on his arms. Feeling satisfied with his performance he would head back into the village to find something to eat.

Roy decided that now it was time for him to learn the Clone technique. It was the only technique of the basic academy jutsu that he hadn’t spent time training while he was in the village hidden in the leaves. AS always he would get up and thank the innkeeper for letting him stay there head down onto the training grounds to begin his day of training. The clone technique itself wasn’t very difficult to Roy. All he had to do was use his chakra to project an image of himself at another place so that he could fool and enemy into thinking that he was in two or more different places at the same time. Alas the technique wasn’t too hard to master but Roy just had to make sure that he did in fact master it before it was time for him to do the genin exam. Once he got to the training grounds he wound head to the training dummies this time. Most of the time the training dummies were being used by ninja that wanted to learn techniques by doing them head on against a physical object. But today the grounds were almost completely empty so Roy would take this time to train the technique here. It was the most level ground in the entire area and it was quite open for him to do many drills without running into trees or other areas.
Once roy got his gear down the ninja would begin to visualize in his head what he needed to do to make the technique work. After doing the clone jutsu the young ninja would then force his chakra out of him and force it onto a location next to him in order to make the clone seem real. The first time he did it he was surprised by how accurate the clone was of himself. After the puff of smoke dissipated the genin would look at the clone stared blankly into the space beyond him. There were areas where the clone appeared to be a clone because you could see through it. And his skin pigmentation was off drastically. To anyone that knew who he was looking for the ninja would clearly be the one that was darker. Roy was pleased with the overall shape and size of the clone however and just realized that he needed to work on the finer details of the technique.
In another puff of smoke Roy would dissipate the clone and begin to try the technique a second time. This time Roy would expend a bit more chakra into forcing the clone to look exactly like Roy did. After he expelled his chakra into the area next to him a puff of smoke would appear right next to him. Roy would see the clone as the smoke dissipated and see a complete replica of roy standing about a meter beyond him. He would inspect the clone a bit further to see if there were any differences and there weren’t. Satisfied with his training he would return to the village.
