And a deviance did occur. Rather than putting up a defense as Satoru would expect, Cole moved in such a way that conveyed another action. By pulling his arm back in order to feasibly throw a punch, Cole has alerted Satoru to a course of events which Satoru finds peculiar.

“He’s going to throw a punch. I know he’s a melee-oriented shinobi but this distance is too great of a stretch…” Satoru thinks, his hands changing from the bird seal in order to form a different seal. “Now that I think about it… I don’t control this situation any longer. My thanks to Hisato for closing the area off from outside influence but, to be honest, I gave Cole the upper hand the moment I allowed him to come up here without trouble.”

As Satoru forms the ram seal, his shadows thin out and disappear. The chakra previously being used to manifest and manipulate the shadows is now being used to enhance his leg muscles. The ram seal is fully formed and its effects commence just before Cole’s punch has completed its motion.

“Reset. Next time, control the engagement. I was too passive.” Satoru says to himself as he begins to move. This mistake has caused him to waste quite a bit of chakra to keep his curse seal up and running. He does not know how many more slip ups he can afford before he is at an even more severe disadvantage.

The Nara’s movements are at a speed of 240. His body moves to a portion of the arena’s wall that is 150 meters away. The direction of this movement is away from Cole.

Satoru will appear standing atop the arena’s wall and will kneel for the time being. His eyes remain focused on the large water enclosure.

Satoru once again vanished using the body flicker jutsu as cole was about to unleash his attack. He stopped and let the chakra fade back down as he fell down on his butt laughing. Satoru had forgot a major factor in his retreat he went back onto the ground at full body flicker speed. Both Shingui and Kajiun could tell the line he was taking due to their seismic vibration sense. Sure they would be able to see him moving at the speed he was going, but with the use of the body flicker Satoru couldn’t change directions either. With this knowledge Shingui did exactly what cole had told him to do. He kept an eye on Satoru, and they only place on the ground he would be able to see Satoru was in the direction that he had taken off.

Shingui would stand there in the way of Satoru as he flew down the wall hitting the ground and continuing on his way right into the side of Shingui who had laid down to act as a sort of oversized speed bump. With Satoru not being able to turn he would have no choice but to run straight into Shingui at his crazy speed. With the sheer size and strength of Shingui it would be like running into a brick wall at 80 MPH. it would hurt like no other, and cole was not to worried about it there was medical staff on hand that would get to him quick enough cause the moment that Satoru would hit Shingui the fight would be over.

Kajiun would rise up out of the ground if everything went to plan. He would pick cole up and place him on his back to ride down the wall and sit him down beside Satoru for the medical team to look at his leg. Than both Shingui and Kajiun would give cole a nod of the head and poof undoing the summoning.

“Well...” Satoru thinks to himself as the vacuum within the air reaches a point just centimeters from his body. He does not have time to finish his thought before the impact rattles his body and sends him flying backward. None of this inflicts fatal injuries, nor does Satoru’s impact with the stands he is moving towards.

At the destination behind Satoru, there are no civilians or shinobi standing or sitting. All had their wits about them and fled that portion of the arena so as not to get hurt or die as a result of the match. Thus, Cole likely had nothing to worry about in terms of whether or not he might harm a bystander with his large scale destructive jutsu.

Suddenly, in the middle of his flight, the Nara regains his ability to think. His first words upon regaining consciousness are as follows: “...Do they serve drinks on this flight?”. Promptly, the violent shaking of the Daytime Tiger Airlines flight taking off jars him back to darkness.

It is a few moments after the shaking stops that Satoru opens his eyes slowly and decides to refrain from thinking again until he is sure that his flight has ended. This is to ensure that he knows exactly what is going on around him. Upon finalizing this, he states: “...I think I slept through the drinks…”

The well being of the Nara and his return to a more accurate reality are better left to the medic who is to treat his injuries. Aside from this, well, one shinobi remains standing.

(OOC: Due to the death of a character involved in this topic occurring at a time chronologically before these events, a mod will void the topic. Because so much work was put into the thread and it would be a shame to lose the WC generated, these are my claims from the topic.)
