Genine Exam, Shinoskay

Perhaps it shouldn't be much of a surprise but then perhaps it could be, the young shinobi named Shinoskay had only recently arrived in the village, in the wake of an invasion, and already he opted to try his luck with a line of other hopeful orphans looking to try their luck for a promotion. 

He had spent time in two other academies before now, so hopefully he was ready.

Wandering throughout the ninja academy Ai-sensei-sama came to a room of mostly wimpy looking kids. She knew that this was the location in which the Genin Exam was held yet did not see an instructor anywhere. What she did see was another chuunin who had their hands full come rushing towards her. Thinking that she was their late instructor the other chuunin handed Love a clipboard with the names of those set to have their abilities tested today. The other chuunin left in such a hurry that Love was unable to correct them but being that she was capable of proctoring Love didn't both to chase them down. This would the red head's first time doing this but it wasn't very hard, she just needed to make sure they could perform the required jutsu without too much strain. As she looked down the list Love sighed at the improper spelling of Shinosuke and decided to call that name first. When the body belonging to that name stepped forward she would say, "Show me what you got kid."

With nothing to go off of, no one to take example from, and no actual instruction on what the exam actual was... Shinoskay found himself momentarily taken off guard, "uh, oh!" was all he managed before quickly stepping forward the line.

His back was stiff and he was obviously nervous, he carefully took a bow legged stance and arched his hands in preparation for performing a demonstration. He knew that at the very least he would need to perform transformation and clone jutsu, or at least that was his hope given how it was really the only mainstream curriculum here for the many orphans. He knew a little more then the standard curriculum, if he was going to show it he felt starting there could be ideal. 

The young shinobi started off by first forming the hand seal Ram, making out the altered tiger by sliding his left hand up slightly over his left to bring the rights pinky and ring finger up over the index and middle fingers of the opposite hand while, in tandem, bringing both the index and middle fingers of the left hand up much like the tiger seal and used his right hands thumb as a guide or stopper for his left. From there he was must less... deliberate... as he quickly pressed chakra through the hand seal and held it while rotating his hands into a mutual clasp, smoothly interlocking them and focusing the held chakra to mould appropriately. Finally, and also with just as much speed, he then rotated from the clasp of the snake into the downward symmetrical mirroring of the boar with his upper knuckles pressing together in unison with the palms.  

As the chakra moulding finalized so too then formed an acceptable clone before him, as symmetrical and facing as his hands. 

With a small smile, the clone took a short leap back while Shinoskay shot his right hand down to the earth about his feat and brought his left hand into a single handed seal of the tiger. The angle and facing almost seemed like the seal of confrontation as it was the tips of his fingers were aimed down, diagonally towards the ground. The soil was more hard packed here, pressed and further compressed by grass, watering, and frequently traffic... and so as he exerted himself to press chakra through the single handed seal, through to the hand placed upon the ground, and into the earth about his fingers he actually had to exert himself this time. His mouth gapped slightly as if he had been tossed a large weight and wasnt quite ready to catch it but was still determined to keep his course while remaining steady. 

Meanwhile, the clone would smoothly form the seals of Dog, Boar, Ram. 
Dog... placing their open palm over a curled finger open palm, Boar... then rotating the top hand down to quickly and smoothly slid the pads of there fingers across the right hand to line up all of the fingers in a separated but curled symmetrical form before both hands' knuckles were directly aimed down and the balls of the palms pressed together, Ram... finally they then reversed the direction of there hand while smoothly separating them and making a sort of overlapping tiger symbol. In a minor, yet almost instantly dissipating puff of smoke the clone came to appear as some esque bandit/thug like person, tall and skinny with an ripped off sleeves vest that showed there chest... bandages wrapped around the abdom to hide the lack of definition, and old, loose, gi like pants fastened onto the waste by some kind of rope. 

Shinoskay's hand had started shaking as he exerted himself to control the chakra forming the cane but in his stubbornness to fulfill his objective he had pressed on until, following his palm from the ground, formed an acceptable two and a half foot long pole like cane. Whether Love watched the cane, or the clone...

Once fully formed, he would then draw the cane up, rotating once around with it to give it momentum, and then releasing it in a shunt toward into the bandit looking clone to disperse it from whence it came. The cane fracturing the as it impacted either a tree or a wall beyond the clone, would otherwise remain intact. Though he had exerted himself so to control the compacted earth beneath him, once he had finished with his jutsu he would show no signs of the exertion remaining... in fact, he would look to the chuuning "umm, I hope that was good. I have no doubt I failed but if I managed to distract you at all I can do it all again if you need me to." 

The orphan put on a jovial smile as he scratched the back of his head, been that he had gone first there was no frame of reference for him to determine if he had performed well or poorly so he had opted for optimism and hoped he was at least adequate. For fear of shattering that hope, he opted to not look around to gauge expressions but instead focused on the kunoichi before him in hopes of getting an understanding of his performance based on her reaction.

Love couldn't tell if the kid was trying to be a humble show-off or not but it didn't matter he had shown skill in using the two jutsu so he passed. "It was fine." She would say in a volume that only the people in the first row could hear before increasing her voice. "Will the rest of you try not to damage or destroy the building, thank you." After that, she would wave the boy over to present him with his ninja headband. Once he was out of the way she would call the next name.

Shinoksay scratched the back of his head and pressed a smile before breathing out "eh, thank you Sensei." His words were spoken with an emphasis on honorific connotations, with a quick bow he accepted the Headband before turning and making his way over to the cane to retrieve it and then promptly exiting the examination area.
