Re: Cho vs Avalon

In a moment the male had lost everything. As the bugs bit into his body, draining him of his blood there were no sounds of anguish or pain coming from him. In fact he figured this would happen. A single decision that would spell his demise. As the "woman" fluttered by him to take his sword, his eyes would only look at her for a moment as no words would escape his lips. The knife that she had clutched would spell the young genin's demise as she stabbed him directly in the center of his chest, but as fate's spiteful humor would have it that single stab would be the deciding factor of this boys life. As the knife plunged deep into his chest the remaining blood from the boy had spilled free the moment she took it out as it had skewered the males lungs and all, his life fading from existence as he fell to the ground, the impact doing the final note on the music of his life. Thoughts flashed of his wasted potential and the thoughts of his family seeped into his mind as the light from his eyes drained. In his last moments, the young Pendragon smiled knowing he would once again join his fallen family members in the afterlife where he could work and live in peace once more.

Cho looked at the blood on her hands as the Pendragon's fresh corpse hit the floor. The enticing aroma of blood would cause some of the butterflies in her wings to break formation and land on her hand so that they could lap up more tasty blood off her hands. One by one the moths flocked to her hand or flutter around Avalon down below, savoring his last breathes. The fading wing structure caused Cho to gracefully descend to the arena floor, landing just next to Avalon. She admired the beauty in her moths as they allowed the boy to die in style.
It was then that she had realized what she had done.
Cho's eyes had widened as she looked around her. The sound of the roaring crowd had shocked her. Where they applause? Or were they boos? Cho could not tell. With the mist completely gone, she felt like she had shown up to class at the academy without any clothes on. Cho tamed her emotions after a brief moment of weakness and thought of Yensung sensei. She reflected on how he had taught her to be ready to do what needs to be done despite the consequences. To Cho, becoming stronger was even more important than the chuunin exam itself. For that, she was even willing to waste her enemy, though she did not necessarily mean to. The boy's futile struggling while her moths fed had caused her to accidentally strike him in a vital area. Any ninja with competence would be able to see that this was not her fault. However, due to the mist, Cho knew that it would make her look bad, like a cold blooded murderer. She felt the same eyes that looked down upon Yensung for his actions now upon her. She spoke to herself, though Avalon would have been able to hear it in his dying moments.
"Are you proud of me, Yensung sensei?"
At the very least, Cho had demonstrated the the audience and to the Hidden Mist village that Konoha does not play when it comes to training efficient shinobi. Only the strongest need survive in the new age of Leaf ninja. For now, Cho was unsure of what to expect next, however, since no one seemed to have intervened or stopped the match, Cho would make her way to the exit. Though, before she did, she would look left, and then look right. Then, she would reach down and collect a coin sack from Avalon's body containing all his ryo.

(OOC: Hope there's no hard feelings, my guy. Do you mind if I just take the ryo too lol?)

Just as soon as the mist had cleared and Avalon was clearly seen laying on the floor with a sword in his torso, the medical ninja rushed onto the field, reaching his body before anyone else. Without hesitation they began to try and heal his wounds, but it would prove a fruitless endeavor. Just as fast as they had rushed into the field they began to rush out with the body, in a vain hope that the hospital would be able to fix his broken body.
In the meantime after he had been removed, Risako would pipe up on the intercom. The crowd came to a mumbling hush as she began to speak, "Cho, please exit the arena and report to my office. Someone will escort you there." The Hokage was rather shocked that one of her genin had the audacity to try and kill one of their fellows. Whether this was an accident or not was to be determined, and despite her want to jump into the scene, the medical team had already done anything she could have. The woman began to make her way to the exit, with the intent to visit Avalon in the hospital first.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I believe that will wrap things up for the night. Please head home."
All the while Miko had been arranging for someone to escort Cho to the office.

Just like many other Jounin, Kinzoku had been at his post to be on guard for the Chuunin exams. His job was to ensure the safety of the Hokage, the Kiri representatives, the audience, and the participants themselves. Never did he think he would have to protect the participants from each other since the rules clearly stated killing was not allowed. But the last fight of the first round went on, one of the Genin quickly covering the arena with a mist concealing both contestants. With the help of Kinzoku's chakra sensory he was able to track the two Genin, but other than that there wasn't much he could do. So his eyes trailed from audience member to audience member, making sure nothing peculiar was going on.
In a matter of time, the mist eventually faded away which could either mean one of two things. Its caster had canceled it, or the fight was over. The ladder proved to be true, however the outcome was not what Kinzoku expected when he looked back down at the arena. The male Genin lay on the ground with a kunai in his chest while the female Genin stood above him with blood splattered all over her, moths flying all around. The medic crew were the first to respond to the scene attending to the boy before anyone else could, which in turn would prevent Cho from attempting to rob Avalon. Though Kinzoku couldn't help but notice Avalon was missing a katana, while Cho was now in possession of one she did not have prior to the match.
After Avalon's body was removed from the premise and brought to the hospital, arrangements were made for Kinzoku to escort the Aburame to the Hokage's office. Releasing a sigh, Kinzoku adjust his hat before saying "this is not how I expect the day to end." Before Cho had time to think about leaving the arena, Kinzoku was standing in front of her looking down at the kunoichi who had just murdered her fellow shinobi. "I'll be bringing you to the Hokage's office. Shall we" he'd say, pointing towards the exit of the stadium signifying it was time to go. Not giving Cho any options to do otherwise, Kinzoku would walk with her, keeping an eye out for her insects. One of his students was also an Aburame so he was well aware of what they were capable of.

Cho would not flinch when Kinzoku Nazar appeared behind her just as Risako finished speaking over the intercom. Her eyes did not leave the lifeless mass as it was hauled away by the medical nin on call. As the jonin spoke, Cho closed her fist, stained a dirty shade of red from the now dried blood. She heeded his instructions without question or resistance. Her pace was slow and somber, but still prideful.
