Ryu's invasion

A meeting of individuals in kage robes Ryu was what grabbed to the jounins attention. Whilst atop the hill he was on doing a casual stroll of the land of Iron. He would hide his chakra and move to a more sheltered location.

After watching not one, but two, and then a third kage enter the building he would begin to wonder.I wonder if that snake Kyson will be showing up with Kumo. If he comes to me it saves me the trouble of heading there myself.

As he waited behind a tree his body shrouded beneath shade and bushes he would keep his senses alert to anyone that could stumble across him. When Kumo showed up he did happen to recognize someone. The big one carrying the sword It's that jounin I had never met before... Was he a spy sent by Kumo. If Konoha and Kumo were working together it would make sense.I was dismissed after they arrived by Nobunaga. They could have smuggled anything in.

Making two shadow clones not close enough to the building to be detected. He would have them suppress their chakra and have them approach the building as the real man move a quarter of a mile away. The clones would not follow and instead head toward the building one would go inside while the other would listen to the conversation inside. The one outside wouldn't just go to the front of the building, but instead the roof using surface walking to scale the wall. With his super jounin senses of being able to hear grass crunching 50m's away could easily pick up the sounds of people talking at a normal volume through stone.

What awaited the clone that went inside well that was undetermined.

(I assume surface walking is one of the basic jutsu chakra suppression alludes to. I could be wrong.

The thing about a kage summit was, security wasn't exactly lack. And the kage had brought their body guards around for this exact predicament. Komon had been walking around the perimeter of the building to ensure nobody had broken the two guards and done rule, his byakugan of course was active and their was a relatively powerful chakra signature about a quarter mile away.

He thought, why would somebody be out in these conditions. Heavy snow blanketed the area, and they were far from any other shelter.

And then he'd begin running towards the real ryu's bright and glowing signature, as only the clones were stated to have their chakra suppressed. Of course, the clones would make it past him, as their chakra was... but if they came within 50 meters of him, he'd probably detect them.

He was sheltered from the cold by his faceless armor and anbu mask, he was well armed with both tsubasa strapped to his back, and his grappling knife hidden under his left sleeve, as well as chakra tree wrapped around his neck.

He'd make no attempt to hide his signature, or his approach.

It seemed that things were starting to get interesting, and at the perfect time too as Kenshin definitely needed to blow off some steam… and what better way to do so than to kill the arrogant fools that were currently sneaking around the venue. He could hear the footfalls of both quite clearly, one stalking through the venues halls and the other on the roof… although it seemed that neither was actually trying to be stealthy if the sound of their footfalls were any indication.

“We have unwanted company” the Kumo character in the wolf mask would say, summing up the situation perfectly for any of those that were not paying attention to their surroundings. Although, he personally felt that anyone that had not detected these fools shouldn’t have been taking part in this summit in the first place, be they Kage or bodyguard.

“I shall deal with them.” the scar faced Uzumaki would declare from behind his golden mask. Provided that there were no objections from any of the kage or their bodyguards the hooded shinobi would silently exit the room, leaving the remaining bodyguards to defend their respective leaders. Although, if anything, the bodyguards were probably the ones that needed defending more than the Kage.

He had, of course, detected the rather large chakra signature hanging around outside of the venue, but seeing as the owner of the chakra signature had arrived at the same time as the Kumogakure delegation it was likely just the other bodyguard. The albino would quickly activate his Minds Eye of the Kagura to pinpoint the location of the other Kumogakure bodyguard, but when he did so he became aware of the fact that the man was rapidly moving away from the venue. He would have found it strange were it not for the circumstances, but with what was happening right now he simply came to the conclusion that the man was chasing after a third potential intruder. Hmm, it seemed that he needed to make a choice… did he try to confront the two that had infiltrated the venue, or did he chase down the fleeing individual alongside the shinobi of Kumo.

Why not both

With a small smirk on his masked face Kenshin would form the seal required to use the Shadow Clone technique, causing one clone to appear a meter to both his right and left respectively. The three would then split up, each of the shades heading silently towards the infiltrators while the true Kenshin began to head in the direction that he had felt the Kumo shinobi running.

The first of the clones would simply walk towards the one that had decided to actually enter the building. It would make no attempt to hide its presence, allowing its footfalls to ring just as loudly as the intruders as it approached. Provided of course that the intruder did not try to change course it would meet the clone in a rather wide hall. The walls were a total of five meters from each other, and each of the clones would be positioned at the doors, which were ten meters from each other.

“Who are you, and why are you here” it would ask simply, choosing to simply enquire as to why the man was here before attacking.

The second of the clones would exit the building through one of the multitude of entrances that had been avoided by the infiltrator, before utilising the surface walking technique and also scaling towards the roof of the building. However, unlike both the first shade and the two infiltrators, its footfalls would be completely silent and it would be outright undetectable even to the superior senses of a Jounin, thanks entirely to the Lost Arts of Kiri that the original had long since learnt. It would come to a stop one meter from the roof itself, and pay close attention to what it's fellow clone was doing. What happened there would dictate what it ended up doing.

Naoki mentally blamed Xyxer for keeping people waiting.

When they finally reached the venue and Xyxer went to his room to prepare, Naoki went to inspect his. He did not expect to spend much time there, but wanted to give it a glance just in case. Cleaning the dust of the road off the Manipulated Fabric took him but a moment and that was all he spent in the chambers provided to him. It was a simple room and did not appear to have been tampered with in any way, at least as far as Naoki could tell with a simple glance over. However, he had no need for it right now; he had no extra clothes or luggage to leave here - everything he had or needed was carried with him, being sealed in scrolls and otherwise or bound to the Fabric.

Nothing much interesting happened between Naoki leaving his room and the three of them - Xyxer, Naoki and Aryll, entering the chamber where the summit itself would happen.

It seems they were the first to come. As was presumed correctly, Naoki would come along and would position himself to Xyxer's left. About a meter to his left and behind him, to be more precise. As was not correctly presumed however, Naoki had the Fabric cover his face with a black porcelain mask, inscribed with Kirigakure's emblem. This along with a full raven black armor and haori was his appearance since they set foot in the Iron Country. And also, as it was already a habit of his, Naoki used the seals interwoven with the Fabric to conceal his true chakra levels, bringing it to the absolute lowest that he could. Behind the mask his sharingan was active, carefully scanning everything and everyone in the chamber and anyone to enter. However, even if one was to take his mask away, or somehow pier behind it, they would not see the true state of his eyes. Instead, a special type of transformation was keeping the appearance of his eyes, including his sharingan in all of its different states, exactly as his eyes would normally look. Yeah, he was sneaky like that. After all, his true heritage was a great secret for him.

Naoki stood there motionless but relaxed as new people began entering the chamber. None got to evade the gaze of his sharingan. The first group to arrive as apparently from Hoshigakure. It was the Hogokage with a single bodyguard, who apparently did not see it fit to mask his face. He did however see it fit to take measures in regards to his chakra signature, having made it nowhere near what a person's chakra signature would be like normally. It was also kind of weak for a ninja who was here to guard a Kage, but it was not unreasonable. Maybe the same method used to tamper with his chakra signature was also tampering with how powerful it seemed; or maybe he was not all that adept at chakra techniques, both were reasonable guesses and Naoki left it at that. Hogokage on the other hand had respectable chakra levels and did not appear to be using any kind of deception. Though he did carry a blade, which he put on the table before him, just as Xyxer has.
Naoki would ignore any nods or similar acts towards him and remain motionless. His reason for being here was to protect Xyxer; there was no need to involve him beyond that as he was not going to have a say in this meeting anyways. He would continue to inspect the young men as the two Kages began having an exchange which started dull but then turned rather interesting for the deputy Mizukage. News of Denkiteki's fate were unexpected; he personally knew the man to some extent and even pledged to help him before. Denkiteki was one of the people marked by Naoki was so the former leader knew his general location, he knew for some time that the Snake Sage went to that corner of the world, but him having founded a village and becoming the first Hogokage was not something he had considered. The second Hogokage, the one named Akihana was also a familiar name, although Naoki had never met her in person - knowledge of her came from Vigil, who informed his creator that she had some sort of connection with Youka and Maku and was at a time governing the Hidden Cloud. Most of it will likely remain a mystery now that she was dead.

As this conversation was taking place, the next delegation would enter - their allies from Konoha. Naoki recognized Risako at the front, despite her being covered in Kage robes. The two guarding her were unknown to him. First was a tough looking male. Other than his uncovered face and feet, Naoki did not notice anything particularly strange about him. The other guard was female, who unlike the other people here chose to dress pretty. She was around the same age as most people in the room at this point and also chose to keep her face revealed. Both her and Risako appeared to carry swords.
Following the three from the Leaf, another person would enter. It appears this was the second bodyguard from Hoshigakure. Finally it was someone who took secrecy a bit more seriously and wore a mask as well as a hooded cloak. Their chakra was a tad higher than everyone else's in the room and almost as high as Naoki's would be, if he wasn't purposely lowering it. Other than that, Naoki could not get any read on him, although he would barely wonder why the person came together with the Leaf instead of accompanying his own people. But the two groups came not all that long apart, so the Uchiha man quickly dismissed any further thoughts on this.

The final group to enter was from the Cloud. They seemed to lack one person and neither of the two was familiar to Naoki. The Raikage who introduced himself as Komori Hozuki was a black haired male, the age average in the room did not change all that much with him included. Naoki noted that he too carried a weapon, although it was unusually thin. This made every single Kage in the room apparently having brought a sword to the talk. The bodyguard to Raikage was a bulky man who knew to cover his face and maybe his chakra too, as it was slightly weaker than everyone else's. He also carried a blade and it was the first weapon Naoki has seen to be as big as Xyxer's. Both in chakra and in the site of their weapons the two were quite alike, which made Naoki wonder if that was true to their fighting styles too.

It was shortly after Raikage's arrival that Naoki noticed the footsteps on the root of the building they were in. His eyes swiftly glanced over the guards and the Kages and he knew that at least some of them noticed it too, but so far everyone was keeping calm. The big bodyguard from Kumogakure leaned towards his Kage and whispered something. If he hadn't been wearing a mask, Naoki would have been able to read his lips, but even without it he had a good idea of what was being said for he too had the same thought. The one cloaked and wearing a golden mask then declared to all he would deal with the intruders and presumably marched out. Naoki was both keen on seeing this fight and somewhat eager to personally take care of this problem. He would lean forward and whisper just as faintly into Xyxer's ear. "I will make sure this is taken care of." Unless the Mizukage stopped him, he would then swiftly dash out of the room.

Naoki would quickly find his way to the rooftop, although a different part than one of the intruders was on and so out of sight of them for now. He knew the location of two of the intruders and it seems the masked bodyguard who went after them split his chakra into three and was going after both of those as well as away from the building. Glancing in that direction Naoki also noticed a fourth presence, one he was unfamiliar with and it was on the very edge of his limited sensory. His sharingan quickly found it; the person seemed to be running away from the compound, Naoki traced his path slightly and noticed something else out there. Although at this distance it was very faint, but sharingan perceived chakra as a colored glow and the man who was apparently no longer hiding behind a tree, but moving away was in the open for the Uchiha eyes to pick up. Alright, so we had three, possibly four intruders, two of which had their chakra suppressed and could only be tracked through the sound of their movement or actions of the others. Naoki also kept in mind that one of the bodyguard from he Cloud was still unaccounted for. Well, the picture was somewhat clear and he knew just what to do.
Forming the Ram handseal Naoki would have two branches shoot out of his body, through the manipulated fabric and into the cold snowy air. He would immediately follow up with Tiger, Dog and Snake. The two wooden branches would bulge up and form into wooden copies of himself. The two branches would detach and the three bodies would scatter in different directions. Wood clone number one, let's call him Wooki (for Wood Naoki), would dash along the rooftop to meet the one who was making all that noise and also clone of the other bodyguard pursuing. The Wood clone number two, let's call him Na'ood (for Naoki of Wood) would slide off the rooftop on the other side and make his way towards an entrance into the compound where he heard the second invader and also where the other clone of the masked man of Hoshigakure was going. And finally the original, named Naoki duh, was proceeding to move away from the building and after the three currently doing the same, except they had a head start - some more some less. Both of the clones would activate sharingan to help track their prey.

At 100 meters Kysons name would be uttered.

If Ryu had been able to see passed the hyuuga's mask, he may have been able to sense some form of anxiety, but that expression was blocked by a porcelain curtain and the shrouded ability of his armor, his body language would not betray him either. If this boy knew kyson, he needed to die. Kumogakure's position at this summit was in a fragile state as is.

His brother's voice would echo in his head at about the 90 meter mark, so he'd respond in kind through the telepathy seal they shared. They're probably working with the man I'm running after. And it's probably for the best you didn't send Nobunaga, these people seem to know Kyson

Of course at the moment, Komon was unaware the man on the roof, and the other eavesdropping were all Ryu, so he'd respond as he continued to close the gap. "You and your friends have elected to spy on the leaders of the shinobi world. Did you really think that would end well for you?" His grappling knife would slide from it's mount and into his right hand with a specific wrist movement as he began speaking.

Na'ood would hear the conversation happening and stop around the corner, just out of view of the invader and a clone of the other bodyguard, but well within earshot. The two were standing on a 5 meter wide corridor, about 5 meters between them, with the invader having his back turned towards Na'ood, who was at a turn 10 meters behind him. The wood clone would retrieve three kunai, a smoke bomb and half of the wire at his disposal from the midnight regalia, said equipment seemingly emerging from his attire; all while listening in on the exchange happening down the hall.

Wooki was far less subtle. The other bodyguard seemed to be taking his time to be silent on the roof, but the wood clone had no such intentions. The intruder was listening in and so had to be stopped, or at least given something else to worry about. As soon as his target was insight, it would shoot forth in a dash. Wooki would get in close and around the man and then lock him in a grapple from behind, with left arm around the target's left and the right holding him by the throat. If the foe turned to face Wooki preventing him from getting behind the target, the clone would instead lunge forward and thrust his right hand towards the man's throat, going for a strangle hold and into a tackle to knock him on the rooftop.

All the while Naoki remained in pursuit. The distance to the targets was far greater than back at the compound and while he knew the direction he had to go, thanks to his eyes catching a glimmer of chakra from time to time and because he could track the other two pursuers. However, running through the snow he would get one interesting bit of information. The wooden clones would communicate to him what they saw and heard, allowing the Uchiha man to conclude that one or both of the invaders at the compound were clones, or for some reason were going out of their way to look and sound the same. So probably clones.

[Tick tock, it's past 144 hours on the clock~]

Down in the corridors of the compound Na'ood was seemingly unnoticed and observing the exchange between one of the intruders and one of the guards. With a moment or two passing and the conversation seemingly stalled the wood clone decided it was an opportunity. With a kunai in right hand and the rest of the equipment he previously prepared in the other, the wood clone would shoot from around the corner and lunge towards the one with his back turned on him. The kunai in his right hand would be directed to go straight through the man's lower neck and emerge through the throat. The other two kunai would be bound by the wire and swung from the left to arc and bind the man's legs, Empire Strikes Back style. All the while Na'ood would not take his sharingan off his target.

Up on the roof, with his prey locked in a grapple and a grip on the invader's throat Wooki's hand would burst in purple flames as he applied a seal meant to restrain. Not having used any countermeasures or taken any actions to avoid this up to this point, the body would no doubt be overwhelmed and go limp in Wooki's firm hold. If this was indeed a clone as the original thought, then allowing it to release would mean allowing the foe to learn everything the clone gathered by listening in on the summit below. That should be avoided. The wood clone's gaze would fix on the other conscious person on the rooftop, should the person continue to approach. Throughout it all Wooki also listened for developments in the summit.

From the three, Naoki the Original was having the least eventful day. Although he did travel the greatest distance, so there was that. But now it seems his chase was coming to an end. Arriving at the same time as the other guard to the scene he would find two men facing each other. One of them wore a Cloud headband and was probably the other guard to Raikage. The man facing him looked exactly like the two intruders and was also holding a handseal. He was the target. Naoki did not intend to let him complete the jutsu and since neither one of them was making any moves to watch out for, the Herald of the Mist went for it. A single mote of light would shoot from his form and streak towards the intruder. As soon as it got within range, it would detonate, exploding right before his handseal. This would be positioned not to kill the man, but would no doubt tear the man's hands off and make him quite incapable of completing the technique. Just as the first sunfly was released, two more would come out of his feet and travel into the ground. Concealed in this way they would split into two directions and phasing through the ground without a sound they would move to position themselves and stop right beneath the guards of Kumogakure and Hoshigakure, who both happened to be within 5 meters of Naoki, Cloud to the left and Star to the right. The sunflies would remain there and follow their targets unless instructed otherwise, never going above the surface. The reason for Naoki taking this action was because Wooki was relaying to him everything he could hear happening at the summit. And should shit hit the fan there Naoki intended to wrap this up quickly as the happening back at the summit appeared far more interesting. Also he preferred the warmness of the interior over the snowy coldness outside.

"Spying? I was just looking to see where the hell Kyson was. I couldn't care less what a bunch of kage were here for." The kunai the cloud ninja held at such a large distance wasn't threatening in the slightest. He doesn't look strong enough to be able to throw it far. This is probably where I should leave.


"Since he isn't here I guess I'll head to Kumo." At that time Ryu noted a small ball of light shooting towards himself he would activate his fuinjutsu chakra barrier with its power of 140. It would stop the orb and its explosion. In the ensuing explosion he would also activate his vanish technique the light from the jutsu combining with that of his vanish into one. With all of the effects happening even the sharingan wouldn't see through that.

If that wouldn't work then he'd just have to run the old fashioned way. He was likely faster than these two anyway. He would run the opposite direction from both Komon and Naoki. Speed 125 "Any reason you both are trying to kill me do I just have one of those faces?" Both clones would also proof away at this time, as the stamina poured into them may be needed elsewhere.


In the corridor the conversation with Kenshin seemingly had ended. With zero talking going on. "Well guess I'll go ask the kage about them missing ninja now. By the way tell your friend he smells of trees." He would say turning on heel to the approaching ninja with his finger pointed to him like a gun. Speed 125. "As I've been telling your homie here I'm not here to fight. So, stop trying to start one." If the Naoki clone continued its advance he would pull the trigger sending a bullet of chakra at the individual's leg. With a power and speed of 60. 

On the roof the clone would just get groped by the assumed pervert. "Is that your stun baton or are you just happy to see me?" At that moment unless something changes the clone would just fall unconscious.
