Got Booze

Here the three were. Finally in the presence of the gates of Hoshi. Minus a few...setbacks they had finally managed to get to their destination without too much harm. Standing three meters in front of the gate, Raikou with his trusty pipe in hand stood there and looked at the grand structure for a moment wondering just who made it and what was their design process. Something so..Regal at least had to take a long time, but when a guard had decided to come up and greet him, he would smile almost immediately," Hello. I'm seeking passage into the village for a couple of days at best for rest and restoring our supplies. We have the necessary paper work to show we are of no...bad ilk, nor do we want any trouble," with that being said he simply took a few small puffs from the pipe while the paper work had been checked.

Miyamoto was on guard duty tonight with the regulars. Everything was going smooth, all he had to do was make sure nobody entered without the proper papers and it was easy ryo. So as he leaned against the guard shack he heard the footsteps of someone approaching. They made no intentions to hide anything as a man handed over some paperwork to a guard. However just to be sure, Miyamoto walked into view the electric glow of the light at the gates with his hand out to the guard to see the papers.

"So, Raikou huh...what is a merc like you doing around here anyway? Business dry up near the borders?" Miyamoto asked as he invited him inside the village gates with a wave. He made no intention to meet the man's eyes as he asked the questions, and he was cautious of the scene, not being aloof, but he was not being too stern either. His footsteps made no sound as he walked and the way he moved the papers made no sound as he looked through them with ease.

Raikou looked at the male for a moment...rather looked down due to their height difference and shrugged," there is no shortage of work for a mercenary in this world, the marks just lead me here us all," a small stream of smoke slowly trailed from his nose as he looked to the other guards and then to the two he was with. There were a lot of things he could say, but with Raikou being well...himself he didn't feel the need to.

The man's words were all he needed to hear.  The man looked like he could handle himself, but as with anyone that entered the village...the eyes of many were always around to keep watch.  He handed the papers back to the man without any further questioning as he gave the man a smile and motioned for the guards to let the others the man brought with him o come in the village.

"Well, enjoy your stay Merc...I hear the Snake's Head Inn is a good place to stay, not too expensive and the staff there can take care of themselves should you all get rowdy." He said with that same grin, knowing the man would be on his way by then.

Miyamoto would then put his hands in his pockets before walking back to the other side of the guard shack to hang out in the dark and relax as he leaned against the wall.
