As he went down into the sweep, Natsume prepared herself. She expected the sweep this time—with his arms behind his back, he really was limited to his kicks and Hoshi was not what she would call 'creative'—but even with foreknowledge and experience, it was not enough to match his superior speed.

"AH!" She cried out as her legs buckled, a searing pain blooming from the impact point. She had taken his heel instead of the large surface area of his leg, and the focused point of strength had done more damage than he might have expected. "Time out!"

She hissed and cradled her leg, feeling the odd indent in the back where heel had met flesh, and gently pressing on the already-swelling bump of her leg. It crunched under her touch. That was not good. "I think it might be fractured. Or broken. I can not continue to fight like this." Despite her attempt at composed words, her voice shook as she held back tears at the pain. She went through the seals for the Medical Ninjutsu she knew and ran it over her leg, but she did not know enough to handle fractures or bone damage of any kind. "I will need to get a proper Medic to look at this." One that would not tell her father, hopefully. She doubted he would go easy on Hoshi if it was revealed that Hoshi, one of her own, had dared to do anything worse than a bruise.

"Before we go," she whimpered as she pressed a particularly sensitive spot, "I need to get my shuriken." She tried to stand up and had to bite down to avoid letting out a sob. It hurt to try and put any weight on her left leg.

She would just have to... hop, or something.

Avoidable hit? She had tried to dodge, but he was simply too fast! She bit her lip, the urge to yell at him about how unfair he was being overwhelming her. Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, her respect for authority pushed that urge to the side, stopping her from shouting. It helped that he managed to turn around and start telling her what she had done well. At least she had not been an absolute mess in his eyes.

She hopped helplessly after him as he went around the training field, picking up the shuriken she had thrown at him. "Thank you," she mumbled as he handed them back to her. She tucked them back into her weapons pouch. "Ah, you do not have to burden yourself with me, Hoshi." To show how well she could handle herself, Natsume put her other foot down, as if to take a step.

"It hurts so much." She winced and lifted her foot again.

She adjusted herself to allow for the easiest carrying. "Though, if you are offering, that would be the most efficient way." She cleared her throat. "Thank you. In advance."

She raised at brow at his lack of knowledge about the hospital's whereabouts, but directed him there without comment. Was it because he had never been injured enough to need a hospital? She doubted it. "Does he not get his wounds properly treated, then?" She frowned as she mulled over those thoughts, making the trip to the hospital a rather silent one.

Once they arrived at the hospital, she was put into a chair in the waiting room. "Thank you for bringing me here, Hoshi. You need not wait, I am sure it will be a while." She waved farewell as he left for home, and settled in to wait. She had been right. As a less urgent injury, she had expected the wait, but it did not make it any less boring to sit in the waiting room. She passed the time by sketching in her notebook and by doing various chakra exercises, guiding her chakra along in her body. Eventually, however, she would be seen to. A medical nin would quickly and efficiently mend the crack in her lower leg, then send her back off for active duty with a reminder to not get hurt, as if she had intentionally done so.

With her injury taken care of, she would head back to the training fields, determined to improve herself after her 'pathetic' performance.
