Tadashi would check the sun, it was about evening time, and he had just realized he needed to run some errands for his parents. The crimson haired Genin would pick up his Jutsu Encyclopedia, resting on top of the training log, and would leave the training grounds, satisfied with the progress he made, not before shouting to the trio once he was about 10-20 meters away from them, waving towards them, "Until next time!" He would then jog to Downtown Konoha, hoping to get to the Grocery Shop before it closes.

Suzume had a feeling Yen was up to something fishy. She could just smell it in the air. It wasn't something she really felt like putting up with, despite agreeing to take his hand as a mentor. All her energy had been spent, and she decided she would just go back to the cave that she called home and take a nap. Maybe the next time she would see the sun rise would be a better time to partake in such antics, but being the way Suzume was that could be a whole season of hibernation.

As it was the other geninn. Well for one feza left out of wisdom, but tadashi the boy in need of a haircut merely left. Sad really as yen had a mountain of teaching to give. But well he knew his methods were not as straight forward as most. As so it seemed his development would be focused soley on the student before him.
The eager nature of the kid was noteworthy. Thus yen would instead of focus on the many this day. Dedicate a lazer focus on the boy's development. After all who better to learn such secrets from then himself.
So then the boy was curious yet yen was not here to tell saln to simply begin. Subtle was the work, and often that was the danger. From a leaf, to a blade of grass. One could belive they are in the clear. Just to step on a proximity paper tag, and well history needs not to be repeated on the failures of the unaware.
"Well naturally saln you should look. Genjutsu is as much using the technique. As getting out. You must find the slightest mishap and also do so while being under pressure. It is not easy. Every second is a second lost to react, or save a life. Because you are under an illusion. By removing a single induvidual, or that lapse of concentration in the feild. People have fallen for blinking. Muchless an genjutsu. To be a suscess at genjutsu you must notice what could be off. Or otherwise the genjutsu user pretty much wins if you belive you are always at risk."
Yen said as he simply spoke up and then asked.
"What do you belive is off here, and most importantly why? You must always ask "why is this off?" Because you are only to acertIn it truely is an illusion.... some are obvious, but hold, devious results. Others are subtle. Less easier to notice and observe, but host a mess of conciquences. This is where you skill in observation and acessment comes into play saln."

At Yen's instruction, Saln was encouraged to go and explore this illusion and find something that shouldn't belong. The difference here would be minute and difficult to spot, seeing as the surrounding environment was practically the same. Still, Saln nodded and did as he was told, his over-eagerness breeding a soft amount of frustration as his sanguine eyes flicked over his surroundings...
It took him a minute... perhaps two, but the boy's eyes eventually caught on to the movement of various flies buzzing about the old tree over yonder. It seemed as his attention had turned to them, the collective noise of their wings fluttering bled into the world... making the child wonder how he hadn't noticed them in the first place! Curiously, the boy followed the sound of the flies... until he saw something that forced him to cover his mouth with his hand in shock:
A dead dear lay amongst some rotted leaves, its body already being picked at by the smaller scavengers of the world. The child's first reaction was horror, the sight of anything dead shaking him up a little... but what was more surprising was how this deer got inside the walls in the first place... As sad as it was to see something such as this deceased, the child couldn't help but wonder how this creature got past the guard surrounding the village and into the training grounds! Did someone summon it...? They couldn't have... this body couldn't have been very old...
"Uhm.... Yen-sama...?" He question nervously. "I-Is it this deer...?" He wanted to reach down and gently shift it's eyes closed... but he had a feeling this couldn't be part of the real world... He woulda noticed it earlier!

Yen glanced over at saln while the boy figured it out. The illusion ended and with it where there was a dead deer. Merely the sinking roots of the tree. But this alone was important. Sort of like watching a scary monster fade away. Almost like the light over taking the shadows.
"Good. You found the peice. And thus it ended saln. But if we take this in full perspective. It took 2 minutes to seek and find the missing link. For all you know. Thats more then enough time to get support. Hide infomation, run away. Put a knife between a persons ribs."
Yen stated counting off the various things anyone could do in that time. Almost as if with even a simple illusion. The gears of a whole battle can be turned. Well in fact this was truth. But something only a genjutsu specialist truly understood. The lapse of such timem was their time to act.
Yen then walked over towards saln as he spoke up the next thing.
"This is what many do not understand. The time a person that is occupied with a genjutsu. Is truly yours. They look up and away from you because your illusion tricks them into hearimg foot steps. The sure tell drawing of an innevitable counter attack because they lacked the focus. Even blinding a person because they belive they have lost sight. Only to discover that there is a blade produced from their back."
Yen stated as he placed a hand on saln's back and shook his head. The whole depth of genjutsu was vast and wide. But highly feared and regarded as a priority to defend against. However, that was where the genjutsu specialists drew their strength. For yen knew that a dangerous foe is one who is willing to take the bait. Go into danger to draw out the threat incomming. To dive into the jaws of the beast and beat it at it's own game.
It is why very few lack such skill to properly combat genjutsu... this is where the monsters lie in nightmeres. But well they only enable us to hone our arts. Untill they are merely fleeing in a circle of illusions created from their fear.
Yen thought as he spoke up once more.
"Imagine running through a forest, but then you see a meadow. A foot is spotted and you hear the panting of your enemy behind a tree. Do you strike? Most induviduals would. Beliving it is simple to strike the fleeting induvidual. Beliving they caught an opponent in their grips. Maybe chasing them for miles. The genjutsu user knows how to trickle into the tendencies of such people saln."
Yen stated as he glanced at saln and grimly smiled.
"After all once you fool the senses. Their mind must belive the five senses as a truth. Then they must decipher the lie. Imagine if one step you took you then trigger a trap concealed with a set genjutsu. This is what it means to have the upper hand with genjutsu. You must think what is five steps ahead. And why your five steps are important."
Yen stated as it was a bench mark for a genjutsu student to start at. If he thinks ahead and thus casts the genjutsu one can set up for any counter measures used if the illusion fails. And even simply set up smaller weaker ones to lead to larger and more conciquencial genjutsu.
"To many. The genjutsu release technique is a god send, but the advantage we host is that we can always set up another one while doing our own thing saln. And there are many tactics to be used."
