Kiss of the Ocean [Village Entry]

Perched a short distance from the shore, the proud flagship of Kirigakure swayed lightly with the rippling ocean yet the anchor beneath held the vessel sturdy. They'd arrived in the once great village of Konohagakure, or to be precise, they were about to. Once the ship stalled and the people designated to enter the village were prepared with their equipment they were expected to leave the ship and simply use the water walking technique to traverse the reflected sky beneath them. Xyxer, of course, was at the head of the band that was here for the Chuunin Exams. The journey was short and for the man, it was relatively enjoyable. He'd walked these very same steps the day his armies had crossed the waters, leaving only silence in their wake. An act that had changed the nature of the world in ways that most couldn't understand.

Words were scarce on this journey off of the ship, the blue haired demon having lost the burning rage he was so revered for in his youthful years, in fact, if one was to focus.. they could perhaps notice a change in the males hair as it reverted to a more natural colour. The silvery-white of his birth clan, the Tadashi.. yet the process was slow, and for now only streaks were visible in his once brilliantly blue mane. He wore simple clothing; a black shirt with a brown, leather hide jacket with trimmings of gold. Black pants were all the rage these days and so he wore those, alongside sturdy brown boots.

Now entering the range of the village gates, there was a stillness among Xyxer, one that was easily recognisable for those who had been around him for quite a while.. yet unfortunately for everyone currently around, there was nobody like that here. The stillness of a scorpion poised, ready to strike at the slightest movement. As such, Xyxer continued to stride straight into his village, uncaring for the desires of any gate guard that may present themselves. Of course, if they were to take umbrage with this or his compadres, they would find themselves in a short lived examination.

[Entry into Konoha]

Oriton strolled in behind Xyxer, close enough to where people who viewed them entering the gates would know that they were together, but not near enough to his Kage to cause him to be anxious or threatened. He didn't want to lose any limbs from the man he admired. As he viewed how different the village was and all the shinobi that were there, his stomach began to cramp up. He wouldn't admit it out loud, especially not to the people that he would be going up against, nor his Kage, but he was nervous.

His arms were weak, his knees were heavy, and Oriton was craving a portion of his mother's spaghetti.

[Enter into Konoha with Xyxer]

Nero stepped foot into the colonies for the first time in his life. It was refreshing. [Enter into Konoha]

As Xyxer entered the village in front of them, Hayate kept pace with the pack of other genin, in tight formation behind their leader.

He was the youngest by a few years, and the shortest by almost half a foot.  But being the blonde, average sized person next to these blue and white haired giants didn't bother Hayate.  He had been here before.  In fact, wearing pretty much the same gear (the blue kiri headband and belt, black halfmask, and dark grey swordsman armor on the chest and arms, with black combat pants.   He might even dare to say those that watched last year would be more wary of him, even with his low chakra signature, than those larger, denser chakra signature figures besides him.

Hayate found himself relishing the thought others who knew nothing about him but the Kiri myths and legends and that one epic fight or two would be scared of him  He hadn't given it a lot of thought before, but now the idea intrigued him.  And he was determined not to scan the crowd to see if he was being recognized.  That would only water down the persona of someone too strong to even care what others think.  Stride with purpose, part of a delegation of the strongest nation, mere feet behind the ninja many considered to be the worlds strongest, and let the action do the talking.

[enter into konoha.... again]

The moment the Kiri ships had touched the shores of the land of fire, Konoha was made aware by scout reports. This should be no surprise to anyone, Kirigakure is the only village that would be coming in by boat and was the present 'owner' of konoha, A good dog watches for its master to come home so that it can be ready at the door for when they walk in.

Shinoskay, in his white mask and Konoha Armour, for some reason found himself to be the only one at the gate despite them knowing kiri was coming. The moment he noticed this he would have formed 2 Rock clones, before kiri even came into sight, before having one transform to look like Higuto and the other to transform to look like a generic female ninja (see  Shiva ) about 5 feet tall and in black form fitting slacks. Slender, a bit wide eyed... typical konoha ninja looking.

Shiva was on the ground while Shinoskay and *Higuto were on each respective watch posts of the gate facing the direction of kiri. Shiva stood 25 meters from the gate, and shinoskay, with a copy of his white mask, Konoha armour, and puppeteers tail.

Her 'tail' extended from the small of her back to down and back, hovering a few inches above the ground leading away from where kiri would pass her. All three individuals had chakra suppression active. She stood to the side of the path that led from the shore to into konoha, about 4 and a half meters off the 1 meter wide trail, she stood at attention with her arms meeting at the hands behind her back just above where the tail extended from with the sleeves intersecting over her hands. As Kiri came into sights, all three individuals would stiffen and wait... everyone knew each side, Shiva, *higuto, Shinoskay.... all had visible headbands and all three were at konoha while kiri had xyxer and hayate as well as the ship having kiri all over it and having come from kiri.

Nothing would be said, this was just meant to be ceremonious rather then an actual greeting... no one wanted to be seen as incompetent and having kiri walk in without seeing gate watch would mean konoha isnt keeping a gate watch... not showing up to 'greet' kiri would show kiri and those other village who already have arrived that anyone can just walk up unchecked... There were plenty of reasons for this, it just disappointed the young genin to see no one else at the gate. It was a necessary show of propriety and Shinoskay was a stickler for propriety. Come what may, Shiva would stand as Kiri approached, as Xyxer passed within 5 meters of her, and as they passed. Nothing would be said unless Kiri spoke, nothing done by shinoskay or any of his creations unless it was to react to something from Kiri, he had never met or seen Xyxer before and so he had no way of recognizing the snap action ready posture of the Kage's walk. To be Clear, Shiva faced the trail, and where Kiri would pass her, she would not look directly at anyone but instead would track them in her field of view without moving her eyes (she would blink though), and her posture is straight and formal.

It seemed that the gods were smiling down upon him, or rather, the vacant heavens above that longed for his presence. Soon, he thought. For now, however, the changing man kept his focus firmly fixed on entering the village without any impediment, which appeared to happen just fine. Granted that nobody suddenly stepped into the path of Xyxer or his entourage, or even uttered a single word to them, they'd proceed straight into the host village for the first universal exam under the villages. If, however, they did something that contradicted this post, Xyxer would retaliate.
