Scattered and Forgotten

Kisuke's crimson red eyes would descend from Yen's face down to the tiled rooftop he was currently seated upon. The famed Dojutsu of his clan watched as Yensung turned the reality around them into one of his own creation, one that brought into existence a field of flowers with pedals flowing in the wind. He watched as the pedals swayed back and forth all around his crossed legs in peaceful harmony. At first, Kisuke thought that Yensung was tricking him with these harmless flowers, turning his attention away from the real purpose of the Genjutsu, perhaps a second Genjutsu that he had activated behind this one. Maybe he was using the pedals on the roof as a distraction from the pedals of another Genjutsu, one such as Temple of Nirvana which could put its victims to sleep at the sight of the pedals. However, the teen Uchiha was feeling no drowsiness nor were his eyelids getting heavy which were the starting signs of that Genjutsu having been activated. No, it seemed that after all the trickster had tricked Kisuke once again for this Genjutsu was totally harmless. 

Due to the Genjutsu being harmless, one that only changed his surroundings and due to it being quite a nice sight, Kisuke would not cancel the Genjutsu. He would let the Aburame's illusion continue to exist for it had created a calming environment, one he was actually enjoying. So he would peacefully sit among the canopy of flowers while listening to his teacher. His red eyes would slowly strafe over the flowers while the Aburame spoke, mentioning how it was a good trump card to keep up once sleeve in order to prepare for the worse. "Yeah you're right." Kisuke would say in agreeance with his teacher. "We cannot predict when we will be put between a rock and a hard place. We cannot anticipate when our backs are going to be up against a wall and when that happens we will not always be able to act as we wish we could. So having a jutsu already pre-prepared is pretty useful." 

Despite his initial thoughts on the skill, Kisuke had now come around to see eye to eye with his teacher. Kisuke's crimson red eyes would rise to look upon the Aburame once more as he mentioned that the red headed Uchiha should continue developing his skill in the illusionary arts. "I have been slacking on my Genjutsu training. Recently I've been focusing more on my Ninjutsu training and considering Im coming off of a year long break, it would be good to get back into it."

With his Sharingan, Kisuke was able to watch Yensung bring forth his chakra and hold it within him to hold the activation of his Genjutsu. He was able to analyse how his sensei performed the skill, thus making it easier for him to repeat the exact same procedure. Clapping his hands into the ram seal and holding them there, from his seated position the Uchiha would bring the small amount of chakra he needed forth to cast his Genjutsu. However instead of expelling it out into the world to infect Yensung's perception of reality, he would hold it within him, effectively delaying the activation of the Genjutsu. The young Uchiha pupil had successfully  delayed the use of his Genjutsu due to having watched his senpai thanks to his crimson eyes that glowed liked a torch in the dimly light rooftops of the sleeping village. 

Still holding his hands in the ram seal in an attempt to focus on holding his chakra within his body and not expelling it, Kisuke would say "Neither of us may see Konoha make it out of the darkness. But one day it'll fucking happen. Whether thats tomorrow, next year or in 10 god damn years from now, Konoha will be liberated and if you or me are not there to see it through then we must make sure that the next generation take up the mantle and carry on our mission." Locking his stern gaze with Yensung, Kisuke would continue "Fear is a powerful motivator. We must use it to fight together and to teach those who will come after us to continue that fight. We have to use that fear to our advantage. The fear of losing our freedoms forever will be the driving factor behind the fight to take back that very same freedom."

Yen smiled as kisuke  weaved the ram seal and he was impressed. Although the very thing that got him on that note was that kisuke did not cast an genjutsu and with that yens skin did go a bit pale but well it was nessary to keep up. (Wind glaive: +30 speed, +30 chakra, final speed: 52, final chakra: 155, final reaction time: 137.)  yen spoke up. As he awaited.

"It is important to keep in mind that so long as you wait you must keep a genjutsu's conditions in mind. The advantage you have here is that even i would not know every condition. And very possibly conditiins can change. So like a normally utilized genjutsu. You must make it count. A common concept is through the eyes you see. But remember and keep in mind of all the senses kisuke. As such a preresiquite  is remaining ahead of your opponent. Each step ahead you are. Is one more step  your opponent must take. Due to such a skill it does indeed get harder to release from an genjutsu for the opposition."

Yen stated as kisuke would infact ask why would that be but regardless he would awnser.

"You must realize by the sudden change from an blind spot. An opponent will be caught unaware of their plight. This alone makes it a bit harder to both break free from, and react to."

 Yen stated as he too set up another genjutsu on the delay as well the drop in chakra. Would be signifigant as teacher and student were playing a solid game of cat and mouse. A fun game of tag with genjutsu. For who was it? Perhaps both? perhaps none? It was a good relay of the past. Although it would play a part with the two in question.

"Well you may have slacked off. But it is good to couple illusions with genjutsu. Especially behind this talent you are working on kisuke. The fact being that there are many ways to respond as a gcnjutsu is cast, but also keep an induvidual down and out of the fight. But for such will say it will get tricky with the full thing in works. It is why it is smart to pick the illusion you may want to delay as a sutible response to an opponents?actions you see."

Yen stated as he did not need to say more onthat. Kisuke could possibli imagine that with the many genjutsu in their arsenal, there too were or should be ninjutsu and the such as well. But as an means to test the uchiha in the logic an grey dome will sorround yen at without him even needing to weave a seal. The very familiar grey aura to kisuke which he saw during the invasion. "Ill have you test a technique vs this defense kisuke. So show you the effectiveness of this, but you may now have wondered which jutsu i may have delayed too. It could be any. So it is wise to decide when best to strike. After all you cant delay forever. Neither can i."

Yen stated as he stood up and now stood at the center of the building.

As Kisuke performed the necessary hand seal for the Genjutsu that he had in mind in order to practice delaying it's activation, his keen eyes picked up on the fact that Yensung's own chakra had flared once more. From his seated, non threatening position, Kisuke's Sharingan would lock onto Yensung's chakra signature as it seeped into his body. He had activated another jutsu, a Ninjutsu it seemed, one similar to that of Fire Halberd. The sharp visual acuity of his Sharingan was able to notice the physical enhancements that Yensung acquired through the activation of his chakra. But why would he activate a jutsu that enhanced his physical capabilities when the two of them were casually having a conversation on a roof at the dead of night? So far, all they were doing was playing around with Genjutsus and the practice of delaying them. Kisuke was slightly confused at the sight of this, however he would keep it to himself as he remained seated and silent, listening to the words of the Aburame as he spoke about being a step ahead.

Then, Yensung's chakra spiked again as his reserves were depleted even more, signaling the activation of yet another jutsu. In this case, another Genjutsu. With his Sharingan's sternly locked on the body of the Aburame, he was Yensung's chakra activate similarly to before, where he activated it and then stored it within his body. He was delaying another Genjutsu. It was at this moment that Kisuke noticed the massive well of chakra the Aburame Genjutsu mastered possessed. Even after having activated and delayed a series of jutsu, Kisuke could sense that his chakra reserves had barely taken a hit. It was quite impressive and definitely a useful thing to have when playing and tricking the minds of your opponents. Kisuke's own chakra reserves were modest in comparison but it was something he could hopefully work on and further increase. 

After Yensung mentioned picking an illusion to delay as a subtle response to an opponents actions, Kisuke would then activate the delayed Genjutsu he was holding. Activating the False Surroundings Technique, the Uchiha would take Yensung's first Genjutsu to the next level. To the eyes, ears, nose and skin of the Aburame, his entire surrounding area would shift, morph and transmute into an entirely new environment. Where he once stood upon the tiled rooftop of Konoha's sleeping village, the Aburame would now find himself standing in the middle of a far out stretching field, blanketed by the very same white peddled flowers that he had forced Kisuke into looking up when he activated his first Genjutsu. A large moon sat high up in the sky, emitting a silver glow over the flowing pearl flowers as they lightly swayed back and forth all around them.

Still from, his seated position, Kisuke would watch as the Aburame activated yet another jutsu. However the effects of this one were more apparant for the short Jounin was now cloaked by some dark aura that veiled his entire body. Analyzing the cloak of chakra with his Sharingan, the crimson red pupils of his eyes darting back and forth in order to observe the entirety of the jutsu. Not moving from his seat, with crossed legs and relaxed arms, Kisuke would simply ask "Well what the fuck do you want me to hit you with, a ninjutsu or genjutsu?" Kisuke wondered why Yensung would activate what was so clearly a defensive jutsu when he also had another Genjutsu that he activated that was being stored. What was the Aburame playing at? To be quite honest, Kisuke was a little confused as to what the Aburame was trying to achieve.

" no need to use it right now kisuke. But it's a show case to my point. By placing a defense in the mixture you add an layer onto your strategy, and make it much harder for your opponent to keep up. see here  sharing an k am certain you have noticed the various things. Naturally the game of genjutsu is remaining a step ahead kisuke. The use of various defenses and subtle offenses are what keeps one safe even should one subccum to a genjutsu."

Yen nothing the illusion kisuje utilized he grinned and chuckled a bit. Smiling at the uchiha. He definitely had the hand on the skill at the least. Still it wasn't without it's own faults. Yen gave kisuke a thumbs up and spoke.

"Now I say this is an nice touch kisuke. Your control over the illusions definley improved over these few years. It took me a long time to develop some of this to be honest. A very long time. I could've done a lot more in our villages case, but it took a lot more time then I could've imagined you see."

With that he deactivated the barrier and as such released the mad world genjutsu. The grey wave pulasating from yen would pass through kisuke as the uchiha would prolly have the flashbacks to how it worked then. 

"But I did improve with my own improvements as you see. So by that nature. We can say that with that change... Perhaps pandaemodium changed in a sense too after these years. I would say as much."

Yen stated as kisuke would've by now released from it upon the instant it activated. Still yen had a sad look in his eye as he took a deep breath and smiled sadly.

"If there was anyone I could entrust my late children to teach the ninja arts to. It would be you kisuke. After all you will just keep improving. But I want you to reapply yourself to the genjutsu arts after all it saddens me to hear that. Rule yourself to rule over others."

With a single flux of chakra he released from the genjutsu and simply ended epidermal as well. The booster ended too as he simply smiled.

"Now then. I would like for you to come by my place in a week kisuke. Cook ya up a decent meal good man. And we can further discuss ways to improve both the village and I got a plan or two to give you a hand. What do you say?"

Yen offered as he offered the uchiha a fresh perspective in thought. It was getting late as both were aware.

The young Uchiha grinned as his senpai offered him a thumbs up in response to him having already learnt the ability to delay the activation of his genjutsus. "What can I say, Im a fucking prodigy." Flicking back a strand of red dyed hair, Kisuke would continue "Or maybe I just have a good Genjutsu trainer. We'll never know I guess." Kisuke offered a little chuckle in response to his own comment, knowing full well it was the latter. Yensung had taught him almost everything he knew and that there was to know about Genjutsu. His current prowess and handle on the art of Genjutsu was greatly owed to his Aburame teacher. 

With his crimson red eyes and the triple tomoe of his Sharingan still actively and keenly analyzing everything in his field of vision, Kisuke watched Yensung deactivate his special barrier jutsu and his genjutsus. The illusions around him fell away and disappeared as fast as they had been activated. 

"I would have been honored to teach your kids. After all, I learnt what I know from you." Kisuke solemly said. It was a tough subject to talk about, the death of his kids and thinking about the possible future they could have had as shinobi. Kisuke could not let that happen to the next generation of shinobi. He could not fail them like he had previously. "I will. Im going to start back up my training and I wont disappoint you senpai."

As Yensung deactivated his remaining jutsus, Kisuke would casually rise from his seated position while his Sharingan seamlessly deactivated and retreated back into their original form. "How could I ever turn down a good god damn home cooked meal." Kisuke would say as he spread his arms wide to offer his senpai a brotherly goodbye hug. "I'll see you next week then, its getting late." Parting the embrace of the Aburame clan head, Kisuke would head over to his apartment complex and get some much needed sleep before he continued on the grind of getting stronger and took into consideration everything the two illusionary specialists spoke about tonight.

Yen mentally chuckled as he kept in mind that kisuke desired bbq of all choices. Well yen had a surprise for him. Still he grinned and gave the uchiha a slight bow. it seemed as if kisuke each time he see's him has grown more and more. trial and error perhaps. or simply life merely piecing the uchiha now. as he noted as much. the man was now a chuninn. for this it would be fine in yens eye that he would prove a fine comrade when the focus of his clan work was?sorted?a bit more. 

"You are alot more modest now for certain. It wont always be about prodegies and masters. Eventually you too will have to keep the genjutsu arts flowing fresh kisuke. I say that when the time comes. You will perhaps just surpass myself. In illusions that is. But ill want you to keep practicing still."

Yen stated as he stepped out the cig and glad he did not decend far enough to take a puff. With the night drawing out yen called to the darkness behind him softly.

" But i shall see you in a week."

With that he departed the roof top and towards the north of the village. A fresh new resolve was in his single eye.
