Just a Couple of Misfits

Another smaller yet far less noticeable smirk crept from the corner of mohawk's mouth. While the rest of his face appeared blank his eyes stated that he didn't care about what Taishi was saying. Rui didn't know if that meant that Taishi had struck a nerve or if the guy just wanted to get on with this mini-interrogation. Rui could only imagine how boring gate duty could be so the blond was more inclined to believe the first option. However, after the grey-ish male's rather long speel even Rui was hoping for the latter. It was clear to Rui that the brute's words were meant to be daggers aimed at the weak strings of mohawk's heart caused by Konoha's fall. Sympathy would be nice but Rui wasn't expecting it to work, no a guy like this would be far more bitter about the situation, especially considering no families or friends were separated. Konoha had gotten off easily being forced into a relationship with the crazy chick after an abrupt and rather random breakup from their longtime girlfriend.

Of course, the blond boy kept it short and sweet once his partner was finished, even if he'd been quick the Shinkou would've stuck to only divulging what mohawk needed to know. Kumo's treatment of their people was none of his, Konoha's, or anyone else's business, besides it was easier to lie about information the opposing party offered. The Konoha male began his retort Rui was weary of his shifting eyes, why the hell was he looking at them like that unless he intended to start trouble. The male pointing to his heart after implying that they were lying was stupid. Regardless of whether he'd heard, felt, or seen their hearts start beating faster, it was presumptuous for him to conclude they were trying to deceive him. "One speaks about his trauma, the other speaks about the most exciting thing since a new kage yet their heart rate automatically means liar." Rui laughed, his thoughts being spoken aloud. Perhaps it was a mistake to have a taijutsu user guarding the gate or rather this particular one since his PTSD was clearly calling the shots. The male clearly had a need to prove himself and the flare in his eyes caused an obvious look of disgust to take over Rui's face. What he really needed was therapy and a fucking chill pill unfortunately for the Konoha kid neither of the men standing before him weren't certified to prescribe anything.

Not that they were carrying any drugs anyway or at the very least Rui wasn't. Nevertheless, the mohawk boy obviously lacked experience with this skill and was hoping the duo were a bunch of idiots that he could take his frustrations out on. The sweet juice of the confection his mouth washed the look off of Rui's face returning it to normal. As the blond looked to his partner when he spoke, the fun-sized Ryal would nod. They had shit to do and weren't going to be deterred by a shoeless boy with pink hair.

Kotsuzui simply looked at the laughing child with a glare of confusion. "What's this child even talking about?" the Kaguya said to himself as he watched him laugh. He listened to the second of the two children as he made a remark about being unsure why Kotsuzui did not believe his story. Why did they even care if the Kaguya did not believe them? He was literally granting them what they wanted. Entry into the village with one condition. A baby sitter. Yet one laughs at nonsense and the other whines that the gate guard didn't believe his hocus pocus story. Calling them spoiled brats would be an understatement of what the Kaguya was witnessing.

The story teller had no idea, but Kotsuzui was there when Kumo took over. He knew what their choices were and what the outcome was. Running out of head plates to supply their shinobi? Give me a break. If anything showing their displeasure with Kotsuzui's decision only emboldened his case. Besides the fact they made no effort in showing their papers. Probably because they had none. But like a baby who doesn't get what they want, they pull a fit. Did they really think they could trot into the village nilly dilly. With his hands hidden beneath his massive white cloak hiding his entire body with exception to his neck and face, Kotsuzui motioned his head once more as he slightly turned his body as if to signify them entry into the village. "What are you waiting for? Isn't this what you wanted, entry into Konoha?"

Taishi would walk into the village, disappointed by having a babysitter. It didn't matter much, as he would have what he wanted... entry into Konoha. "Where do I need to go, Boss?" he would ask, his tone and emphasis on the word boss making his annoyance at the situation very clear. 

Taishi would follow the instructions of the red headed man allowing them entry, unless he gave some sort of unreasonable request. He would have no issue speaking to anyone he had to in order to get this mess resolved. 

---Exit and entry into Konoha---

Rui simply shook his head as mohawk tried to fake confusion through the glare his sent toward the blond. It was obvious he realized the error of his ways and was embarrassed about it. The last thread of hope in his response to Taishi hammered it home, Taishi's retort was also cute. Either the grey-ish male was better at acting than he lead on or these were his true colors brought forward, regardless of which Ryal was enjoying it. This trip turned out to be better than he'd expected, as his partner progressed so would he, however, he had his guard up in case this shady boy tried anything now that they had their backs turned.
