Unlocking the Sharingun.
Sun Jan 20, 2019 1:03 am
Artimus sat in a quite unfamiliar area, the sun shined brightly into his eyes so he could not make of what was around him nor who was speaking to him. A unknown woman was singing a song that he slowly began to make out her delicate words. " Dove don't die, wake up and fly, to where you find, your wing meet heart beat, where ever you go, Distance disappears as long as you remember, dear dove".
Suddenly he awoke with a start, His weight edged out off of the branch he had fallen asleep on. Grunting he regained his balance and sighed, yet another dream about his mother, Why had she just left him behind he was a baby?
His Tears began to make their way down his face, His jaw cliched and teeth grinding. "I Didn't do anything to be thrown away damn you!".
The tree shook suddenly as he smashed his fist into the tree in anger. Tears fell down his face as he silently ran the dream over and over again the words fading away which only caused him to weep harder. His sorrow for his unknown parents drilled into his heart this was the most he had ever remembered and now he was Losing it all over again. The emotional impact changed something in his eyes the black of his heart bled and his eyes became a crimson color like blood.
A small tail began to grow from within his pupil of his optics. This of which he didn't even realize outside the fact he was weeping harder than he ever had before, almost as if he let it go after 11 years of holding it in. Eventually he did stop and slowly made his way down the tree silently. He didn't know if he was being loud and felt embarrassment for weeping so wantonly.
He slowly began to make his way towards a ramen shop because food had always helped him find a better mood. Artimus's optics stared downcast as he sat down at the table and ordered three bowls of ramen. Thinking about his dream which he only remembered the last two words " Dear Dove".
He ate every noodle that there witjin those three bowls slurping the last noodle, Then before his very eyes he had a flashback. He was crying and as he looked at who was carrying him he saw a hooded figure their face hidden by the cowl. He crying at the time was quite loud and them he heard the figure begin to sing.
The voice of his mother floated on the very air itself and soared right over to his infant ears. The singing caused him to quiet down and giggle at his mother. Then suddenly she stopped and ducked down. Rising the hood every so slowly his mother face came into view and her face was one of fear and of sadness.
Once again she spoke out to him," little one I must say farewell they must not find you, you must be silent for your mother... I hope I will see you soon my dove". Then suddenly she pushed him away from her and disappeared into the rice fields. He remembered reaching out for her with his little hands and then nomming on them until he fell asleep.
Blinking the flow of tears from his eyes, he then stood up abruptly and screamed "No please don't go!"
Then after realizing where he was he blinked the tears away and bit his lower lip. Withdrawing after paying for his meal he began to wander through the village deep in though his eyes downcasted and sorrow filled, people who crossed him gave him space simply because he appeared in deep despair. He didn't speak when he bumped into people he never even bothered to look up all he could see was his mother's face. Why did she look so scared, who was she talking about..
Even now he was forgetting the flashback which only made him more angry, he didn't want to forget her face and as he even thought that her face was already beginning to fade. As he grew frustrated he began to jog, then run, until he was sprinting all the way to the other end if the village.
Stopping to catch his breath his eyes looked up for the first time since he ate and saw the academy front gates. Tears falling down his chin he played his finger on the metal of the gate and started to him the faded tune if his mother, he remembered the melody but only a few words came to mind. "Dove...."
He whispered to himself. He slowly turned about and startled himself. The glass from the academy caught his reflection and something was abnormal about his eyes it looked like he is eyes were the color of blood. He grabbed onto the gate and launched himself up and over flipping over the gate and landing on the other side. He paced slowly towards the glass to get a better look at himself. Shocked he examined his eyes in the window, Black eyes that he had always known somehow looked differently. Then suddenly they turned normal almost like he willed them to.
But these where his eyes not some thing he didn't see every day. Angry by being so confused he turned away and made his way back to the gate. But instead of jumping over he simply opened the gate and walked through, he steps increasing once again as he began to run once again but this time into a little area in which No one seemed to be present them he sat down on a grassy knoll and began to think. What just happened and why is this happening to me, is this a curse or am I just different.
He willed his eyes to bleed the crimson they once were and suddenly things began to shine, auras of trees and grass began to show energy or Chakra, he rubbed his eyes and looked again, he knew that he was not dreaming this and stared in wonder. Suddenly he noticed that the charka dimmed until he could no longer see it, he was sweating from the effort of focusing so very hard he had forgotten about the time and the sun had already began to set, how long had he been there..
Maybe an hour but it felt like an eternity to him. He slowly stood up and abruptly he saw a girl staring at him from across the field her eyes made him rather uncomfortable be cause she had the same blood hues as he had he sat there stunned, closing his eyes he reopened them as to clear his vision and mind. She was gone, had he even really saw anyone, was his mind playing games with him. He turned on his heel and started to make his way back towards the academy, he was focused on passing the academy and becoming a lower tier ninja.
Why of all days had he been cursed and blessed with so many clues about his family. He wondered of it had anything to do with where he was or maybe how he felt, knowing he had some thing wrong with his eyes he made the choice of keeping his eyes hidden or at least from the academy at first.
But to do that he needed some kind of control over this ability, if he walked around town with his eyes like that it would draw attention maybe even bring a fight or even death so he thought it would be best to gain control over it so as to keep it hidden from prying eyes. Slowly he returned to the academy and reached out unlocking the fate and stepping through the portal. He looked at the windows seeing that it seemed to him the academy was closed and then began to focus on his reflection.
After a hour he had managed to activate his eyes and then deactivate them a few times, feeling comfort by this he allow his eyes to return to normal and sighed. Sweat pouring off his face he wanted in exhaustion and turned about as he thought about the girl he saw. Was she real... or not.. He didn't know but as he was deep in though his stomach began to growl like a hungry beast, he groaned and began to walk towards the inner village where the food stalls where at.
Wandering around aimlessly Artemis look at all the other food stalls sniffing occasionally here and sniffing occasionally there and try to get a sense of what stalls were the best. But as he made his way to a particular stall he stopped and the hair on the back of his neck stood on end he felt like someone was watching him. This made him very uneasy as he moved his eyes to scan across the open Village Square as to try to get a clue about who or what was watching. But after a few minutes of seeing no one and nothing out of the ordinary he continued to make his way towards the favorite stall and which the food they're smelled completely and utterly delicious.
As he finally approached the small he set down with a grunt as dust kicked up from the clothing he wore. He smelled the food in glanced at the menu thinking of what you would like to eat as a stomach continued to end early Roar so loud that he was pretty positive that everyone within 15 ft radius heard it. After ordering Circle bowls of ramen and baked goods he began to eat and eat until nothing was left in any of the bowls or plates that he had ordered. No one seemed to mind that it was literally jamming food into his face swallowing so fast that he had not even had time to even taste when he was eating. A man sitting next to him stared in awe from this extraordinary ability.
As the last bowl was finished Artimus thanked the cook by apologizing and bowing a total of fifty times until the cook begged Artimus to stop. After paying his bill standing up and smiling he exited the food stall. He then made his way back towards where he knew the academy was located because he had no home and he wasn't willing to pay to stay at an inn.He decided that it would just be cheaper to keep sleeping outside. An the tree that he flavored was prefect because the branches were thick an allowed for people not to really be able to see if anyone was in said tree.
He figured hey that's a good place for me to go and sleep. On the plus side on it was almost right next to the academy so how can he be late were his thoughts on the matter. He began to climb up the tree silently his eyes getting rather heavy from the use of this new ability drained him he was completely worn down. After finding a thick comfortable branch, which was very difficult to do he settled down. Leaning on the trunk of the tree he slowly began to doze off.
As he fell asleep he hoped he would not dream about her again. Hopefully he would not dream at all but how he knew that he would end up dreaming about his mother would be inevitable.
HER face swam into his vision her weeping at him hands over her delicate face. He spoke out to her softly. "Mother?" His voice echoing in the darkness that surrounded them.
His mother only weeped harder after she seemed to hear his call for her. Reaching outwards towards her delicate face he pulled down her hands from her face and what he saw shocked him. Her eyes where gone only darkness remained blood oozing from her open eye holes. He screamed at her and moved away on unsteady legs. Snapping awake he simply cried for a long while in the darkness of the night.
