Rune pulled away at first when Minato reached to grab him till he looked up and saw it was Minato and let him help him. Getting back up he looked at Minato in the eyes “I killed someone” tears forming in the corners of his eyes as he tried to fight them back but it was just too much a few rolled down his cheeks. He walked out of the alley with Minato his heart filled with sadness and regret that he didn’t think was possible. The walk back out of the alley was almost as hard as the run to the thief as Rune wanted to turn and return to the body and probably would have if Minato was not here with him.

Once they were outside of the alley Minato sit Rune down against the wall while he ran and got some help to take care of the body. Rune just sat there looking at his bloodstained hands thinking over the exchange that leads to him taking the life of another human being. He couldn’t believe that it had happened to him and he just wanted to go home. He stood up and was starting to leave when Minato arrived back to him. “Thank you… but I just want to go home right now” he would tell Minato. He knew that in the back of his mind that he would have to go through a couple interrogations before he would be able to go back on missions, but he knew that it could wait as well till he could actually think and if not then they knew where he lived.
