With three Satoru’s, two of them clones of course, the Nara is prepared to protect the incoming civilians. Any other shinobi who have agreed to leave with Valen may choose for themselves whether or not they will help in this matter. These people are not savages though, the civilians know how to act orderly and avoid chaos. However, when destruction begins to rain upon their former home, the same may not hold true.
“Right this way. We will depart for Sunagakure shortly. Try to form tight groups of a few people and designate a leader among each.” While it may seem as though Satoru feels some compassion for these people, this is not the case. He has merely taken on a responsibility, one that he would prefer to handle properly. "Keep account of who you have and report to me along the way if you find that you have lost someone. We are still receiving people so either integrate them into your groups or form new ones. I’ll keep track of things.”
With three sets of eyes, Satoru watches both the surroundings and the group of citizens. The three clones encircle the common folk both on the ground and in the trees for a greater range of vision.

(Not doing AP for my clones unless something happens)

Quietly observing the discussion at hand xuba noted the one simple thing that eluded the two individuals. Both while making an compromise of sorts were just trying to reach the same exact thing. Simply doing what was better for the masses even without offering an statement of leadership. Although long winded and a bunch.
It was a far cry of the leader xuba once encountered that had open arms, and'for that this was the result that lead to the country in it's unstable state. Clear assertiveness was missing as was an check on order and a clear objective. All which made the village unappealing as with a leader. The leader must also show with the guiding hand.
How unfortunate my home of birth has fallen to such depths. But they play tug of war with men and women of faith... distasteful.
Xuba thought as he glaced at his joined twin xabi. It was an painful expression on the twins face as he came to terms with the toddering of people. The men and women. Fanatics reduced ro stature and more automous people just moving back and forward.
"I.... now see what you mean brother."
Xabi replied as xuba noted the boy satoru merely waiting. But xuba was not to wait any further.
"We should just go clear our heads with that man from earlier agree?"
Xuba stated as they too followed the man away from the mess.

Artimus sighed breathe of sadness such is the beginning of something there must be some kind of ending. Artimus stood in the shadows wrapped in rags around his body limps and head. Optics staring through the fabric he lowered his body into a crouch, standing on the balls of his feet. he was indeed making a decision that would play a part in his path in life. Unsure of what to do exactly he simply sat is his current state.

Mid-thread claims:
875 words towards mastery of shadow sewing technique (completed with 1,000 from here and using my last 25% WC coupon from here, initial mastery cost being 2,500)
168 words still in this thread until I exit, not going to claims stats until then so that I count all of the words for it.

Murmurs throughout the crowd of civilians begin to carry a common thread of information: the words of the village’s new Hogokage, Tanji Heiji. Satoru does not know this person himself, but the contents of the leader’s message are of concern to him in particular. It had never occurred to the Nara that there might be some members of the corps of shinobi of Hoshigakure who refused to follow Valen Akari and survived despite the fact. As evident by there being a new head of shinobi for the village, at least a few remain in order for Tanji Heiji’s words to have any real weight to them.
“As they turned their backs on us, so we will turn our backs on them.” The Hogokage’s decision was clear. Traitors to the village were just that: traitors, rogues, missing ninja. Such an individual would prefer not to find themselves just outside of the gates of an established village.
Satoru, having made his decision to follow Valen and abandon Hoshigakure, understands what this development means. He and the people whom he is entrusted with protecting and escorting will depart for a safer location.
The Nara’s actions are based on the fact that this Tanji person is a Hoshigakure shinobi strong enough relative to others that he should emerge as Hogokage. Following this line of reasoning, Valen Akari must have either been killed or departed in some way that Satoru could not become aware of when it happened. Whichever scenario reins true, both lead to the same outcome: Satoru will take the villagers who have chosen their side to a safer area where he can protect them without threat of being hunted down by a village that is less than one hundred yards away. This is only reasonable.
The crowd of villagers is made up of groups of five of which there are ten total. This makes for fifty villagers. All of them are huddled into their groups when Satoru addresses them.
“Given the Hogokage’s words, you all know that this village will not tolerate our presence. Valen Akari will follow us shortly. Until then, we are hitting the road.” Satoru pauses to see if anyone objects to this course of action. Not a word comes out of the crowd of fifty. “Don’t worry about food and water, there are plenty of outposts we can stop at where you can have all of the comforts of home. Remember to stay in your groups.”
Satoru takes a head count and does his best to take in all of the faces of the crowd. His clones do the same. When this is done, the fifty villagers move out under Satoru Nara’s care. Their destination: Forest Country.

[Exit unless interrupted]
[Claims: 598 words towards Cloak of the Night mastery (no hand seals and AP reduction) (completed with 402 words from here), 7 stats]
[Satoru and fifty civilians exit Hoshigakure and travel to Forest Country]
