Re: Relaxation

After seeing the majestic Fang mountain for himself, Taichi decided that he was going to go into the nearest town to drown himself in enough alcohol to forget about his problems, even if it was just for a moment. The flashbacks flying through his head again and again, driving himself into a downward spiral. He found the nearest tavern and saw in front advertising their live music, he figured it wouldn't fix anything, but it would certainly help him forget the flashbacks, and hopefully drown out the screams for a little while.
He walked in through the front doors and noticed that the place was already stocked with patrons, there was no real room in the the middle of the audience, but there was at the bar. Taichi would rather be there anyway, closer to the alcohol. When he sat down at the bar, he looked at the bartender. The bartender saw the emptiness in his eyes and asked Taichi what it was the he wanted. Taichi looked at the bartender, then glanced at the wall behind him, being completely covered with different types and brands of alcohol. Taichi never really cared what he drank, as long as it numbed his mind for a while. He told the bartender to give him whatever would get himself plastered in the least amount of time.
The bartender nodded his head understandingly and grabbed one of the bottles out from under the counter and set it in front of him. Taichi nodded and thanked the bartender. When the bartender went for a couple shot glasses, Taichi waved him off. Told him that he wasn't going to need them, no point in dirtying a glass. The bartender nodded and gave him a look of pity. Taichi opened the bottle and brought it up to his nose to smell the contents of the bottle. The moment the smell entered into his nose, it was revolting enough to force Taichi to snap his head away from the bottle. After letting out a few coughs, he lifted the bottle once more, tipping it back and consuming a large volume of the alcohol.
Taichi leaned against the counter and looked around the audience to see who it was that he was drinking near. When he looked into the audience, he saw the regular type of riffraff that would frequent these types of establishments, then he also saw one woman in a pink dress that Taichi thought was an interesting choice, especially when you saw the beautiful hair that she had at the same time. Taichi chuckled for a moment. "What on Earth would a woman with that level of beauty be doing in a place like this? Eh, guess alcohol works for all. No matter how you look." Taichi turned back around to face the bar and stared down the bottle he had sitting in front of him. "Now, we wait for the sweet embrace of forgetfulness." Taichi thought to himself as he slowly swayed his head to the sound of the music that had just started to play.

As Taichi wallowed in his thoughts for a few minutes, the memories began slipping away and his mind was finally free for a little while to do as he pleased without needing to worry about the flashbacks, or the screaming. The beautiful woman in the pink dress and done up hair walked up to Taichi and began dancing next to him. If there was anything that Taichi was not good at, it was talking to women, but this one seemed to be friendly enough. She ordered a drink and Taichi offered her his bottle, he had already consumed more than half the bottle, so he knew that he wasn't going to be drinking much more of it at this point. Whether she accepted or not, Taichi would set the bottle down onto the bar and he stand from his stool and stood straight up, stretched his back for a moment.
He was feeling quite intoxicated at this point, but still coherent enough to speak some what normally. He swayed to the music mostly on beat and smiled at the woman and, as casually as a socially awkward person could, asked her, "My name is Taichi, whom do I have the pleasure of speaking with?"

Passing down one of the streets in Fang, the sound of music could be heard emanating from a nearby tavern. Hiroaki stopped outside the front of the tavern and listened to the tune for a bit. It was some orchestra-esque type music playing. ‘Hey, not bad’, thought Hiroaki. He tapped his foot to the tune and whistled a bit. He juggled the thought of entering the establishment in his head undecided if he should bother. ‘Eh, what’s the harm of having a little fun’, he thought. He swung open the doors and entered the place.
Entering the tavern he found a bunch of people drinking, talking and dancing. The usual scenario you would find at a tavern. “One thing of rum”, said Hiroaki tapping the table. He took a seat at the counter and looked around. The place was generally dark with dim lights turned on except behind the counter which stayed a tad bit brighter so the people working could see what they were doing. The rum came in a mug and was placed on the counter before Hiroaki. He smirked and grabbed the mug by the handle. He chugged a good portion of the alcohol then took a look around.
He couldn’t believe his eyes. “Ember!?”, he shouted. His smile deepened across his face. This drew attention to Hiroaki. People started to notice that he came in with his katanas, but they were used to people bringing in weapons so no one said a thing, plus they were drunk. Hiroaki looked at the young ninja dancing with a fellow he had never seen before. He nodded to the stranger, unable to tell if the man could see his way of saying hello. They were both swaying obviously drunk out of their minds, the man especially.
Taking another swig of rum from the mug, Hiroaki gazed about the darkened crowd. “Guess we all find ways to let some steam loose”, he said. He coughed unexpectedly and some rum shot out of his nose and mouth. “GAAH”, he shouted. His cough continued and he rapidly tried to wipe the alcohol away. He resorted to slamming the desk to vent his frustration and suffering of the cough afterwards. “Gahh, it burns as much coming out”, he whispered. His throat was tender from his condition.
The bartender returned his attention to Hiroaki. He handed him a napkin so Hiroaki could wipe his mouth and dab his clothes which Hiroaki only did the first part of. The bartender then wiped the table down and threw away all the napkins. Once he returned from throwing away the napkins he replaced the mug of rum with a new drink. Hiroaki nodded to the bartender and took another swig. His cheeks were starting to get slightly red, but it wasn’t anything he couldn’t handle so far.
Hiroaki would continue to sit there, drink, and exchange a few words with the individuals. He wouldn’t dance because he was never shown how. That and he had no one to dance with. “Weird where you end up sometimes”, he muttered out loud.

The woman with the name of Ember took the bottle from Taichi's hand. While for most people, the amount of alcohol that Taichi had consumed would be enough to put someone in the grave. For Taichi, it was really just enough to take the memories away for a couple hours. Taichi's body had grown accustomed to consuming large volumes of alcohol so he still had most of his motor functions and coherence about him.
A new person walked into the tavern and seemed to know Ember, due to the fact that he knew her name. The new person who had the name Hiroaki nodded at Taichi, which he reciprocated the gesture. Ember and Hiroaki spoke together for a few moments. Taichi chuckled at just how drunk this woman was after the small volume of alcohol that she had consumed. He thought to himself how he was when he first started drinking, he was just like that. But now, after decades of drinking himself into comas, his threshold had increased significantly.
Ember motioned for the two men to follow her outside, Taichi had no issue with that, there were too many people for his liking, so he walked out of the tavern with the two other members of their newly formed posse. Taichi followed the other two out the door after paying the bartender for the bottle that he had. He thanked the bartender, who was shocked that Taichi was walking at all, let alone in a straight line.
As the two walked out the tavern, Ember led the group to a clearing and sat on a stump that was somewhat in the middle of this clearing. Taichi looked around for a few moments and he couldn't get it out of his head of how perfect this area would be the perfect area to train. Taichi figured he would add to the conversation and ask the group what they thought. "This clearing would actually make for a really good place to train come to think of it? What do you guys think? It's a wide clearing, gorgeous view of Fang mountain, has a river that leads out to the ocean rushing toward the other end and we have trees that are surrounding us. Hell the clearing itself is probably fifty meters across. I might just set up shop here." Taichi turned and faced the edge of the clearing, trees were thick in this particular spot so Taichi felt that it was just perfect.
Taichi knelt down and placed his palms on the dirt that was in front of him. He then manipulated his chakra to create a large, yet modest sized house. It had a wrap around porch and was a log cabin type house.
When he was done creating the house, he saw that he was going to need to add in the glass to the windows, but he could do that at another time. Taichi turned around to face his new possible friends and asked them a question.
"What do you guys say we do a little training? I've been looking to work on my fluidity with my techniques. This could be a pretty awesome opportunity for us. What do you guys say?"
Taichi looked at the other two, patiently and excitedly awaiting a response.

Ember had suggested the three of them beat this joint. Hiroaki looked at the door where more and more traffic seemed to be piling inside of the establishment. He didn’t like being surrounded by this amount of people. It was more than Hiroaki could handle as there were too many eyes, variables and body heat. He chugged the remainder of the rum he had been drinking and hopped up to his feet. Hiroaki’s face was definitely red, but he wasn’t going to pass out or anything from it. “Lead the way, missssss Ember”, he slurred just a bit.
The missing kunoichi had told her the name of her new friend. His name was Taichi. ‘Apparently no one has last names around these parts.’, he thought to himself. Hiroaki would have drunk to that thought, but when he brought his hand up, there was no longer any alcohol in his hand. So, instead of drinking, Hiroaki had decided to continue following Ember out of the door. Taichi seemed eager to leave too so he decidingly came with.
Exiting the tavern the air was certainly fresher than the damp smell that had been lurking inside the tavern. Hiroaki leaned against his knees and coughed a bit more. Once he regained his composure, he continued to follow the two of them into a more open space. Taichi wanted to get some training in. “Training? Right now?”, he asked. Hiroaki’s head swirled a bit, but he quickly shook it out of his head and tried to focus a bit more. “When have I turned training down?”, he asked rhetorically.
Taichi made a whole house in front of them into the clearing. Hiroaki stood back a bit, surprised the man would go this far. ‘The things that happen when you are drunk’, he thought. He slapped his cheeks trying to get it together. “Alright, alright”, he ranted. Hiroaki clenched his fist and started to go for a punch at Taichi, but then stopped himself. “W-Wait. That’s not it. What kind of training is this again”, he asked confused. Hiroaki looked at Ember for some help as the alcohol had a hold on him a tad.
Hiroaki sat down. “Elements. What are yours?”, he asked trying to think. Hiroaki wanted to combine their elements to try to see some cool effects. He would try to pass this off as getting good combinations out of them, but his reasons were a bit more selfish than that. “You know. Fire, Wawa--”, he stopped himself. He leaned back until his back was against the ground. ‘Did I just say wawa?’, he thought. He rubbed his eyes a little too harshly. If Ember or Taichi had a better grasp on what they wanted to do, Hiroaki would participate in their training, albeit a little slurred.

Taichi was sitting in a chair that he had created inside his new house and leaned back against the rear legs. Hiroaki asked what elements the group had, which Ember responded by shooting fire balls into the sky. Then she listed off Taichi's "House element", this made Taichi laugh audibly and shake his head for a few moments. "That was pretty funny." Taichi remarked as she began performing a push up. Taichi then answered Hiroaki's question.
"I use the Water, Fire, Earth, and the Wood element. The latter is how I was able to create this house. The reason I thought training would be a great idea is because this clearing just seems perfect. I want to begin taking on contracts that involve the killing of other folk. That's where the money is and that is something I want plenty more of. Not to mention I want to begin testing my battle skills and I am wanting to be a part of a team so we could start raking in more money. Hell, together, we could bring in plenty of money with no problem. What do you guys think? Also, what elements do you have Hiroaki?"
Taichi then leaned forward and placed his forearms onto the wooden table that was directly in front of him, leaning forward and waiting for Hiroaki's answer.
