An Opportune Strike(P,Yaju)
Sun Apr 05, 2020 4:54 pm
The day was as simple and monotone as any other, the birds scarcely being heard chirping below his position as the afternoon sun raged violently as the skies remained clear of its oppression, all witnessed via an obscene lens overlooking the entirety of Kumogakure as Gidyne continued going about his usual business as Raikage: paperwork. He waited grudgingly for the Shinobi he summoned to arrive at his door, the one who helped Kutari become the host of the bijuu which was now within Gidyne. From his understanding the mystical worker who randomly landed upon the doorstep of Kumogakure at such an opportune moment was quite something, apparently being one of his predecessors for this very village - or at least a shadow of what it once was. He was intrigued by these memories and wished to elaborate deeper upon what exactly they may do for their relationship, seeing such a man as someone certainly worth having as an ally. From his understanding, Yaju chose not to participate for the time being with the affairs of Kumogakure directly, which was fine however he was curious nonetheless.
If Yaju arrived, Gidyne would tell him to come in. There being a seat for him to sit in unlike the other appointments he’s had in the past where they stood awaiting orders, establishing the relationship he wished to have with Yaju being that of equals. If he chose to sit and gather himself, Gidyne would begin to inquire about the man, “Hello Yaju, it is nice to finally meet you. My name is Gidyne Rygisae, the leader of the man that conquered Kumogakure sometime again and you helped establish a contract making him a Jinchuriki. To be frank with you he’s gone now, having now served his purpose in this plot and proving a useful subject to study anatomy wise and receive various boons from, though your efforts are greatly appreciated and weren’t in vain.” He’d choose to leave on that note, to interpret said words as he will, it mattering little in their newfound relationship and wishing to get onto more pressing matters with said formalities concluded.
He’d slowly rise from his position as the black clothing he wore marked him as an oddity in the room and expanded upon his overall mystery. Looking towards the wideview mirror to the village ahead and the state it was currently in, “I understand that you were once the 4th Raikage. The information here marks as such, at the very least and I have no reason not to trust you on such a matter. What I want is...information.” He’d stare into the various ants below as they went about their lives as he stood so high above them, despite his position sensing no sign of ego or power amongst himself. Instead a drive to eradicate the current placement of the world and push it to greater feats, “As you can tell, this village is in a poor state. They’re weak - feeble, requiring to be fed by their caregiver at the bosom just to continue to survive. Not just the civilians, but the Shinobi as well. This reality can traverse every major village in the world at the moment, the conquest of power and security has become stagnant as people have all but settled in such awkward times of peace. I intend on changing this reality to something more refined and promising to the future generations to come, however I need the proper tools to achieve that.”
The Raikage would become a bit agitated simply thinking about the responsibility which rested upon his shoulders, knowing full well he was the sole man capable of jumpstarting such a cruel yet necessary series of events to unfold. Though there was a block, another wall not capable of being obtained at the very moment held behind the secrets of his ancestors; solely knowing of its existence and there being something greater out there with the reaction of his own body, however thirsting to figure out what exactly that may be. He’d begin walking back to his desk as he spoke again, “I believe this has to do with the sudden disposal of the older and more established generations before me and their failure of passing on the torch to their upcoming generation. Be it intentional or not, the secrets of old have been lost to time. Your presence disappeared off the face of the earth as well from the documents I’ve researched - you are one of the final artifacts of the more powerful and pronounced iterations of the Shinobi era. We’ve only just met and all but you seem reasonable...there surely must be some truths you know of that my generation lacks in its entirety.”
Gidyne would begin to sit in his chair once more after gathering his thoughts, a moment of pause taking place. His spill symbolized his true intent and wishes to reshape the deteriorating world they resided in with shock therapy. Though he needed aid to confirm his suspicions of there being something greater, “The bijuu, the past Kage’s, Kekkei Genkai. There’s something amiss that was once known amongst a select few in the past that led armies and amassed great power for what we now know as the Great Major Villages, and as you can see those historical figures and heroes are no longer seen. I’ve tried to my greatest capability amassing various DNA and bolstering my own strengths through transplants and becoming something far from when I was conceived, however there has to be a greater power that has eluded me. Nature chakra along with the Senju’s feats of utilizing such a mysterious yet gifted chakra form inherently, or the Mangekyou and the various jutsu tied to these eyes which have all but fogged their vision in an almost contradicting manner, the mystical combination of such blood lineages that feels as if there’s some connection to a source that even I’m unaware of. It’s intoxicating, I wonder how far it leads but have no data or history to give it supported life.” He’d look into the air hastily as he rambled on, contemplating what these various signs were and what all they meant as his own body could be considered a mystery a lot of the time.
“I seek the truth. You apparently have hinted at a student of yours in which you wanted my subordinate to meet: is he at all informed of or know of these mysterious things I indulge upon? I assume he to be Kiseragi Onomori based upon the intel I’ve gathered, though the most he’s shown would be the typical Mangekyou pattern no? I wish to receive some form of guidance and counsel from a previous Raikage to the current if at all possible.” He directly requested to learn about the mysteries of the world which now fell on deaf ears, hoping this person in particular could satisfy Gidyne’s own interests and bring forth the answers he lusted for. His demeanor was completely unlike what Yaju likely dealt with in Kumogakure since his arrival, different from Kutari as he lacked a proper ego and completely willing to request assistance as that fool in the past all but was too distant to ever receive many forms of help or establish new relationships, in which he failed to rise higher. He'd hope to see Yaju appeal to his interests and supply the current Raikage of what it is he wanted.

Re: An Opportune Strike(P,Yaju)

Another day in an old home. The young male stared from his position in the mountains looking down at the village for a moment, remembering days past. From his perch he simply peered into the village as if he had been waiting on something. His foster father had still been sleeping from their long journey and taxing fight at his old bar, his tasks seemingly were only to take care of Kurisu and amass a new trail of knowledge about the world that had previously just did him the favor of forsaking him for years on end. The white haired child heaved a small sigh as he turned around to walk back into the broken Ametsuchi compound to feed himself and his single wolf companion. His pack had a new leader but certain habits were hard to break. A small hand slowly petted the large wolf as he leaned into and smiled," There seems to be a new flow in the world as of late. I am obviously out of place here, but one can make a new foothole...Right my old friend," the wolf simply tilted its head quizzically before he huffed and sat beside Yaju. The two shared a moment of silence only for a moment before the footsteps of someone set both the wolf and the boy on edge. He didn't need to turn his head to let the messenger know his presence was already known," What is it you want of a child?," but when the messenger told him that the Raikage had requested his presence, the young boy stood up and dusted himself off.
He didn't need to give the messenger a response as he jumped off the nearest cliff and with a small spark he was gone. Landing near the entrance of the mountain he slowly put his hold on and began his descent into the village toward the Raikage building. After a moment or two he finally arrived and headed up to the door where he would have been met by someone who had not been Kutari. In all truth's they both looked differently so he walked in slowly removing his hood as he smiled," So you're the Raikage huh? Kutari entrusted everything to you...How interesting. I was expecting him to meeting him again, but this is fine as well. Served his purpose huh? I remember him saying something about working for someone...Never the less. Don't mind this childlike guise. It is easier to walk among people when they don't know you're the old Kage of this village. Helped get to know the current ninja of this village but this isn't why you called me here." As he sat down his words were proven true as the man in front of him had been wanting from him. The fact that he saw the village as a cesspool first, one that could be tempered and brought back to its prime amused the elder Kage," You have a better viewpoint of this village than two of the Kage that came before you. One sought to turn it into a putrid wasteland. The other continued in his conquest. This boy Kage...Maximillian? Had the heart of the people, but not its military might. I see in my absence and fall some have tried to pick up the pieces, but you're missing a few. Maybe you're the cog this clock needs to continue ticking once more," the statement was more matter of fact than flattery, but he wouldn't know what the man was thinking.
He would have waited for the male to finish speaking before dangling his legs off the side of the chair and smiling," So knowledge is what you seek. Whether to further yourself or this village I know not, but yes I am reasonable in a sense. If death has taught me anything its patience and seeing the bigger picture. I was foolish in my time, but even more so being foolish is rampant in this world. So i'll give you what you desire, but in the same hand i'd like to ask if anything comes up in the form of bodies let me know. While i'm more than proud of my heritage as a Hyuga, adding more to my reportorial would not hurt as well," with that out of the way he would continue," I'll answer your questions as they came. First, the powers of the past have trickled out of existence. I've heard that my...foster uncles have all but disappeared from this world. Viper Uchiha. Koroshi Uchiha. The pinnacle of the Uchiha clan. Gone. The reason they obtained their strength lies in your next question or rather you statement. Its well known that the Uchiha made their stand with two things. Their fire. And their doujutsu."
As he made his last sentence a scroll would have been produced from his hoodie and shown to the male," You might want to clear some space off of your desk," he would have waited until the male had done that before releasing the scroll and the myriad of notes and documents would flood it," You mentioned the Mangekyou Sharingan. My friend, a person who was briefly the fifth, complied all these notes on the bloodlines he owned or studied. One of which was the Sharingan. Many thought the Mangekyou was the pinnacle. I did too until I had seen a different pattern in the eyes of Viper and Kurisu. I didn't know until I read Kurokon's notes. Its something called the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. A state in which two eyes are combined. Supposedly, according to the notes you need to medically swap them. I'm not a medical buff or anything, but it seems to be the step after. There's the Rinnegan, but his notes on that subject are...vague at best," though when he mentioned Kiseragi and the fact that he now had Mangekyou it caused the young wolf to laugh a bit. "I was unaware that my student had advanced so much...Well there is the final key you need I would assume. The swapping of the two sets would indeed give you the power you needed. The notes of course are yours if you so choose. I have no need for them anymore...They just remind me of an old time and it upsets me. Now as for guidance what would you like?"

Re: An Opportune Strike(P,Yaju)

The past proprietor of this once overwhelming village wielded words that effectively pronounced his new views of the world and village alike with precision. He made it painfully aware of the village’s continuous curse of being matched with opposition within itself, being a lack of initiative internally or simply failing in militaristic aptitude. Regardless, Gidyne would appreciate the confidence Yaju displayed and the capability of freely speaking his mind in front of this stranger despite the awkwardness of their meeting - along with his skills in not asking too many questions.
Despite his initial worry, it seemed as if we worried for naught as their conversation would turn to become quite fruitful for his own resolve, more than he’d ever imagine as the lost secrets of the past generations would finally begin to be revealed. Having done as instructed and cleared the table for the lengthy scroll, he’d observe it’s fine details and the man’s words as they came. A barrage of thoughts and information would be projected towards Gidyne, the Kage soaking in all its contents with the excitement of a youthful child in a candy shop. Though unlike most in his position, the Raikage wouldn’t tune in with interests to completely quarantine such knowledge for the future generations to come - having learned greatly in real time what consequences arise given the laughable state of the shinobi villages - instead expecting to apply this order.
The Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, a strange concept indeed. However one he certainly could believe and felt within his core to be the truth. If he were to do what he wished with Kumogakure and restore it to its former glory, he’d need to act with this given information of his ancestors and other likewise tools that would guarantee his bolster in strength. Curiosity oozed through the room, however not once did thoughts of deceit or malice cloud Gidyne’s mind of Yaju’s words, knowing full well his life had been in his hands before and yet he still stood. As offered, he’d take the scroll with great appreciation to study in later detail it’s contents, rolling it up and placing it in his storage displacement.
He’d also note the sudden unease that came about the name Viper Uchiha, not from his own conscious however the beast which lied within; as it growled and muttered bloody mary it seemed to be affected negatively by that seemingly infamous name. He’d try to question the beast, however it’d only answer with a quiet “Soon,” as to indicate they’d have a conversation on the matter later. It’d have been some time since their connection was cemented by the fuuinjutsu pact, and though the bijuu was still unreceptive and grouchy at times their relationship grew with time. Though now he could notice a great strain that would need to be addressed shortly, as the link between his ancestors and their past failures likely shined magnificently to the beast.
Putting such thoughts to the back of his mind, Gidyne would return mentally after a short pause - likely taken as an overload of information - with tact for the next task at hand, “ You have proven time and time again to be a gracious ally for me to have, and I thank you for that. From my absence at great length from the village, to now with such a vast amount of information. I would hope we continue this relationship to benefit one another, and of course I would happily oblige to bring to you any corpses that come my way that’re of no significance to me. I’ll also be taking this scroll for the time being to examine in greater detail, thank you once again. Now, regarding the guidance I suggested earlier, the topic in question might be more extreme than I initially led on. You’re free to decline if you so choose as it’s nothing more than a choice, however looking at it from both of our positions I suggest this for both of our benefits.” Gidyne would enlighten the fellow regarding the nature of their conversation as he sat back in his chair, a cool yet calculating expression coming off of him as he went on, “ As you’ve noted, Kumogakure is in quite the unsightly state. I have plans on bringing life back to it and making it greater than what it was ever before, however such feats are easier said than done as I’m sure you’ve come to understand along your journey. With my focus on Kumogakure, it’d be ignorant to think the outside world will simply wait for my project to finalize and their surely will be strife at hand. That’s where you come in,” He’d shift appropriately in his chair, his stare within the depths of Yaju’s soul becoming more impactful and ecstatic.
Gathering his thoughts he’d continue, “ You are a talented man, however I feel as if your presence could be used more effectively elsewhere. The last thing I want Kumogakure to now do during this rebuilding project is depend on others to fight their own battles. I’ve noted in the past their declining resolve in combat was centered around focusing on a few single allies to help fight their battles. Clearly I must stay behind to guide them and invoke more pride in their hearts, however the concept of three Kage level individuals within the walls of Kumogakure I’m sure does the opposite effect. I plan on sending Max on more specific tasks to see where his talents truly lie and gauge his aptitude after his recent injuries, especially since he’s been quite adamant of wanting to go to certain places, however you’re much more reliable in a sense. I wanted to suggest having you journey to Sunagakure and build your network there with my own allies, the Kazekage Stark being one of my greatest comrades and where I resided for quite some time, I’m sure simply informing them of your travels from Kumogakure you’d be allowed in and treated kindly. Furthermore he has his hands tied as well, so contact with him is difficult at times to obtain so having you present to keep in touch with how Sunagakure is doing along with foreign villages movements will be effective due to Stark’s more established village. Not even getting into the geographical advantage the Wind country has and the shorter distance from major villages…” Gidyne would begin to mumble to himself towards the end, signaling the various thoughts rummaging through his mind and how many odds were stacked against him. Shortly he’d return to gather a decisive answer, “ Of course Yaju you’re not confined to go to Sunagakure or leave at all. The decision is yours in the end, I just know soon there’s great things to come...Stark and I have talked in great detail about a Kage summit soon to be called given the recent changes in the world, it being hosted likely in one of our villages. Additionally Stark is a great ally to have so it’d benefit you exceptionally well as he has quite the many services you could utilize, and the traffic his village receives in visitors and recruits there’s much to gain there. What do you say?” As indicated, the choice would be Yaju’s at the end of the day and he wouldn’t push for him to do something he wished not to do. All Gidyne knew was that Yaju currently had little to do in Kumogakure and if he wanted more purpose this could be it. The topic of what he wished to do with the man he brought with him was another matter which needed to be discussed however that would be saved for after his ultimate decision.

Gidyne figured there were little words needing to be exchanged from then on, he said his piece and that was all that needed to be done in that moment. He figured the youth was a busy man and had things of his own to take care of, but the offer still stood, if he wished to leave that would be perfectly fine. With the new information he received he’d wish to take advantage of it as soon as possible, leaving the man to himself as he knew there’d be nothing to worry about. He’d travel to his own quarters making sure he was alone before beginning the experiment.
The Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, an interesting concept to try to seek. He’d obtain the Mangekyou Sharingan pair he obtained from that fool who tried to teleport to the vault of Kumogakure during his entrance to the village, and utilize his skillset as a medical tactician to do the transplant: swapping his current eyes out bearing Mangekyou Sharingan with the other set of Mangekyou to see what would transpire. After a bit of time letting the techniques simmer down with proper anesthesia and fine detail with his movements, he could feel the surge of power as his skills reached a new pinnacle what it felt like: the time he’s used his Mangekyou and the slight shift in his vision was almost immediately fixed as he now was able to see clearly and without worry. He was excited beyond belief, now reaching another level of might he could use in the battlefield soon enough. He’d research and look deeper into what all he could do now that he had such a higher form of prowess, seeing in a nearby mirror the change of his Mangekyou pattern to be something combined with his original and Jiro’s eye pattern. He’d place his old Mangekyou back where he got the replacement pair of Mangekyou to keep them secured for possible future use. He’d be curious what exactly entailed the Rinnegan, and would love to look into it or find what exactly this Rinnegan term was. He became nothing more than enthusiastic as he studied the notes from this Kurokon to see what else might be hidden within.
