Mino gives a noncommittal grunt in response, gazing out the window for a few quiet moments.

"I tried the other paths. They didn't work out." Mino turns her gaze back towards him, offering a distant, wry little smile. She finishes her tea and sets it aside.

"Listen. I don't care how old you are, I've got advice for you. Bring people into your life who aren't shinobi and get a hobby." She stands up, signaling that it is time for them to wrap things up here. "You seem to have a sensible head on your shoulders, and you'd do well to keep it that way."

The last leg of the tour goes smoothly. If Arcanis has been paying attention, he will now indeed have a pretty good idea of how the village is laid out, as well as brief introductions to the facilities - the training center, the academy, bank, and so on. It's only another hour or so before things are all wrapped up and the guests have been returned to their accommodations, all seeming more or less happy enough with the experience.

"That went well," Mino tells Arcanis, once more outside the bed and breakfast. The rain has fully cleared up, the evening clear and cool. She instructs him on how to report the successful completion of his mission, and though she is handling the debriefing this time she also quickly talks him through the important parts of the process for any future independent missions.

"Be well, Hedatari," Mino finally says, lighting a cigarette as she takes her leave. "I look forward to working with you again soon."

Arc was surprised. Kurokabi had opened up just a slight bit to him. She had struck him as a closed-off person. All business. But she actually was not that at all. She had told him a little about herself and even gave him some advice that was fairly sound. Bring people into your life huh? Get a hobby? Arc considered his pursuit of knowledge a hobby. Sort of. He had spent years reading in his library. His practice with jutsu and ninja arts was actually only the tip of the iceberg on what he was knowledgable of. But maybe he needed to be around other people and experiences to witness life outside of duty. She was wiser and gave him more than she knew in terms of advice.

“Thanks yeah, I’ll do that.” She stood up and started rounding everyone up to complete their tour. Arc downed the rest of his drink and stood glancing over the group of visitors making sure they had everyone. Following Kurokabi out of the little shop, Arc did his normal thing of thinking while performing normal actions. Maybe he would go find a hobby tomorrow. On an island like this maybe fishing would be a fun pastime. They walked past different facilities. He would frequent, some it was just good to know they were there. The Training facilities and the Bank seemed important enough. And maybe when he was here longer they might ask him to help out teaching the new academy students. Arc chuckled at the thought.

Having completed the mission for the day Arc paid careful attention to how completing jobs and debriefing worked. Soon he would be doing missions on his own and would need the information. He returned the sentiment of hoping they worked together with kurokabi and wished her a good evening before heading back to his modest apartment. It was time for a good rest
