Hey, Im walking here
Tue Jul 14, 2020 2:34 pm
Orokana sighed as he walked around the forgotten streets of hoshi. Its been a long time he feels since he has been around the place but has been only a year or so since hes been gone. The streets and people were all the same but also alien to him. He mumbled heavily to himself as he held his bag and sword close to his person as he walked around the streets aimlessly. He had no idea were to go or why he even came back, but it was a close place to be from his old home now. He wondered who people have changed around the places he has been. He then sighed and rubbed his head as he found a place to enter into near a alleyway, looked like a bar. It was out of the way and easy for him to get out of the busy streets, plus he hasnt had anything to drink for awhile so he entered into the bar. It was a nice quiet place with some booths and bar stools at the bar, all looked old and wooden but in great condition. A lone old man at the bar cleaning the bar and glasses. Nothing out of the ordinary. Orokana rubbed his head and walked to one of the booths, putting down his bag and his sword down before he waved to the old man. He just asked for a drink, anything really and if they had anything for food. The old man pointed to a sign behind him that showed a list of nachos and chicken. Orokana looked at it and just got some nachos. A simple thing for a bar but he wasnt expecting anything much in terms of food he could get. He felt relaxed and he let down his guard as he turned off his chakra control and his chakra flared back up to its normal amount. He sat down at his spot in the bar and opened his bag, taking out a book and a pen as he rubbed his head and yawned a bit. The journey to hoshi was a very long walk and he didnt like to move a lot so he was very tired. He would need to find a place to sleep later but for now he would just relax in his spot. His black hair fell in front of his face and his hat covered most of him. It was a big floppy hat kind like a wizards hat from a story book. Though he liked the hat ever since he picked it up. His dark clothes also made the corner of the booth he was in looking darker then it was. Orokanas green eyes kept on the book even if more people came in, he was just reading and writing in his book as he waited for his drink and food.

Keina had decided: tonight was going to be a fun night. Half her old crew was away on mission. The other half was preoccupied with family things.
Well screw them! Keina knew some party bars, and she'd go have an amazing night without them!
Note: starting the night on an angry foot was NOT the correct choice. Starting the night at 3pm also did not help.
A high collared, low neck tank top with fake front buttons, alongside jean shorts and her cowgirl hat also did not help with some parts of the night. Keina is, however, very capable of taking care of herself, so even that was not much of an issue.
If was a few bars until Keina had gone from sulking to enjoying fucking with people at darts. She liked feigning incompetence by throwing darts to the edge for a round.
The astute would notice all her hits were more or less equidistant and exactly on the outermost ring and therefore didn't make any bets with her.
The less astute... Well, they would have been parted from their money if Keina didn't refuse to take it saying that she cheated, and then walking away to let them puzzle over how someone cheats at darts!
By the fourth bar, Keina stopped drinking and just played games with random people, either games where there wasn't betting or games that she wasn't super overly favored in. Like poker. Keina is actually awful at poker. It's almost sad. She was not so inebriated as to waste away a lot of money, but she did lose everything she started with. Oh well! Such is the name of the drunken game! She decided to head to the fifth joint if the night.
Keina waltzed into the bar walking... Loosely is a fine enough word to describe it. "Heeeey! Camerooooon!" she spoke in a way that was... Loud but not a shout.
"Oh? Keina? Don't make me kick you out again" the bartender said, turning only barely to see the entering woman, and letting out a light chuckle to show he only spoke in jest.
"Izz coool. I just wan' summa those chicken shred nachos you're so flipping famous for."
Cameron gave out a loud laugh. "Coming right up, but you know damn well it's only famous among drunks!"
"Well it's famous to me!"
"Fair enough!" he responded before walking back behind the bar (after having taken Orokana's order) and poured out a glass of cheap beer. Then he would grab a large glass, drop in some ice, and fill it with water, placing it at Keina's normal spot at the bar, right next to the beer. "Mind being a dear and taking the beer to the guy in the hat while I go start on some nachos?"
Keina walked over and grabbed the two glasses, giving a big old smile and saying "Sure!"
Keina walked over towards Orokana's table and took a seat across from him. "Welcome, newcomer! What brings you round these parts?"

Orokana was looking at his book and humming to himself as the girl came in and started to be chatty. He was paying attention even after she sat down at his table. He was reading and writing out some ideas he had for some genjutsu then looked up at her, his blank face looking at hers as he then blinked. "Ah hello... Thank you for the welcome. And nothing it was just the closet place from my old home to come here. Who are you miss..?" He would as and then slowly take his drink from her, she seemed chatty, maybe loud. Two things he hated and dreaded. The soft scent of ink holding around the table as he slowly closed his book and put it in his bag as well was pulling his hat off so she could see his face better. As much as he didnt care to talk he wasnt going to be ill mannered. But he also guessed he never met her before since she didnt seem familiar which made him a bit happy. He then slowly sips his drink while his green eyes is on hers. He had a bit of a stand offish vibe to him as he then looked to the bar keeper to see if he was listening or what not.

"Keina. And no need ta be saying 'miss'" Keina spoke back swiftly, looking ever so slightly miffed before putting a smile back on her face and placing the drink down for him to grab. "So ya used to live around here? Mind if I ask how long ago?" Keina gave off an air of drunken...
Innocence is absolutely not the correct word. Perhaps a better word is levity? Yes, an air of drunken levity. She seemed to be partially detatched from reality, and yet not so gone as to be unreachable. The state where she would more or less remember things, but would be nearly completely unable to get out of bed.
Keina had tried to sneak a peak at what the man was writing, but he'd closed up the book before she had a chance to read the upside down handwritten text.

Orokana sighed and looked up to her. She seemed to not like being called miss probably because she wanted to be friendly. but now she started asking him some questions. "Ah well about a year I suppose. Just had some troubles I needed to go and leave for. Still in the borders mind you I cant imagine how some other places would be." He didnt look at her after he started to speak and slowly sipped his drink. He didnt know how much he should tell. She seemed like she could take him in if she figured out he was a ninja from hoshi that wasnt in the city for over a year. Or maybe they didnt care anymore. Either way he didnt want to stand out and wanted to seem like a normal person in the eyes of people as long as he could, it made more sense to him that way.
