Gin made his way out and immediately darted for the gates. Once at the village gates, he took the time to look through his belongings to make sure he had everything he needed such as weapons, water, and of course the scroll which was the most important item. Looking out over the vast desert, Gin figured the message was highly important since the meeting place was the rundown building which was used a point of interest for many ninjas and is only known to the ninjas of sunagakure.
What was nerve wrecking was that he was leaving the gates by himself, meaning he was on his own without any backup, whatever threats he would face would be his own responsibility. With a deep breath, Gin leaped from atop the gate and made his way over the sand.

The sand was hot as it normally was when the sun was high, but the client wanted the scroll delivered as soon as possible, besides, Gin preferred walking at day since the nights were a dramatic change in temperature, he'd prefer not to freeze. His cloak was airy and protected him from the direct sun rays as he made his trek, not only that but because of it's color, it blended him with the sand to avoid detection.
He was pacing himself, though he was told to "make haste" he knew better than to exhaust himself while being by himself. Every so often, Gin would stop to scan the area around him to make sure there were no enemies ready to intercept him. It felt like an hour by the time he managed to spot the building. But before darting towards the structure, he looked it over once and took the extra time to circle the perimeter.
The good news was that he spotted no one, but that would also be the bad news. If he was the first person to arrive, he would have to wait for the recipient. He carefully entered the building and looked about the rundown lobby. Floor by floor, he would careful search the place to make sure he was truly alone. Then he made his way to the rooftop. He took a spot at the ledge which gave him the best view of the surrounding area. For the moment he waited, hoping that the recipient would arrive soon.

All was quiet, save for the wind that smoke with the sand. The wind was the only sense of the passing of time. With some windows being absent of shutters and glass, sand blew in and the wind kept the humidity out. Gin kept himself to a corner of the main room where no windows neared him; a position that provides him safety and everything, especially entry points were in his view.
Eventually Gin began to tire and just when he was about to take a seat on the floor, a small sand devil blew in from the doorless doorway and spun in the center of the room. Gin pulled out two kunais, knowing this was unnatural and had to be a jutsu. When the sand twister settled, a single tall figure dressed all in black stood in it's place. The white mask hid the person's gender as they stared at Gin with no weapon in hand.
They stood in silence for a moment until the masked person spoke up, "The scroll" the voice was genderless, possible another jutsu, maybe an illusion.
"Show proof you aren't an enemy" Gin called out, holding his position. The anbu guard who gave Gin the scroll also noted the recipient would flash a badge with a bird, luckily the new arrival did so, they flashed a golden badge that had what looked like a humming bird picking at a flower. Gin didn't know what it was about but he had to focus on his job. He pulled out the scroll and stepped over to the person and handed them the scroll.
The masked person nodded and a sudden gust blew in, sand whipped up and when it died, the figure was gone, leaving Gin by himself.
Gin took this time to leave the building and head home, the sooner he got home the sooner he could be in safety.
