I'm a ninja, not a doctor

- Im a ninja, not a doctor (C-Rank) Mission:
- Mission Name: Dammit Jim, I'm a ninja, not a doctor
Rank: C
Type: Supply, organization
Character Requirements: --
Mission Location: Sunagakure's hospital
Word Count Requirements: 2,000
Challenges: --
Repeatable? Yes
NPC? --
Reward: 2,000 ryo, 5 AP, 3 meters of bandages per participant, 1 syringe per participant
Task: It's no secret that the hospital of Sunagakure is understaffed and underfunded. You've been tasked with going through their inventory, sorting out expired medicines from the useful ones, the moldy bandages from the clean ones, etc etc. If you find anything useful, though, there's nothing stopping you from taking a few select pieces for yourself.
A new day had come over the prospering village of Sunagakure as the sun began to rise, birds began to chirp and the sound of villagers beginning their days bellowed in a muffled fashion from outside of Zaine's home. He had spent the last few days relaxing but had been making plans to increase his funds and get a few more missions under his belt in the process. Today he planned to head over to the hospital of Sunagakure and offer his services in inventory, stocking and organizing. This would prove to be a more simple and laid back mission but this was the perfect way for him to get back into the swing things. Getting up from bed he would throw on a white long sleeve shirt bearing the Uchiha crest and black straight legged pants. He would grab his 2 weapons pouches and placed them on his lower back before grabbing his headband and tying it snug to his left arm. He would make his way from his bedroom to his living room grabbing a pair of black sandal to put on as he made way for his front door, closing it behind him and heading for the hospital.
Zaine took his time walking to the hospital so that he could take in just how nice of a morning it was. The sky was clear and bright as the sun had finally begun to peak over the clouds, its rays shining down and providing the perfect amount of warmth. This brought a smile to Zaines face as he took a moment to inhale deeply and exhale along with the cool breeze that passed, carrying grains of sand along with it. "I wonder how bad its gotten?" Zaine would think to himself as he neared the hospital that was only 18 minutes from his home. The hospital of Sunagakure had apparently become severely understaffed and was in urgent need of some extra hands, thus the mission assignment. But in truth he wondered how it could be this dire with the amount of capable hands the village seemed to have, at least from his perspective. Nonetheless, however bad the situation may be, Zaine was determined to do his part and assist as much as he could. He would reach the front of the hospital expecting to see a representative of some sort in order to get the ball rolling on the assignment but to his surprise he would come to meet a rather interesting shinobi instead.

The sun beat down onto the village as the sun began to rise over the cleft walls. The village was beginning to get into its daily swing of the people going to shops, work and for shinobi to go on their morning missions. Shin is one of those that had to go on a mission.
Shin had been training early in the morning, even before the sun began to rise, to train some of his ninjutsu. Now that training was over, Shin would start heading over to the hospital. The mission was to assist the hospital staff with cleaning out some of their old medical supplies like bandages, medications, needles and other medical supplies that have filled their supply closet. Shin was glad to get a mission, he hadn't been on some for a while and payments for his housing were starting to come around the corner.
The sky was bright and full when he travelled over to the old hospital. Shin hadn't been to the hospital before, never really needing to. The word on the street was that it had gotten understaffed over the village chaos. The hospital must've been a wreak due to the years of abuse. Shin assumed that was the reason it was a C rank, it is such a hard job for anyone to want to take on the mission. They hadn't been able to get the right funding for their staff plus it was generally just unsafe to stay in Suna during the missing ninja age.
Once arriving at the worn down hospital entrance, Shin saw his partner. Zaine Uchiha. He was a younger adult, in his 20s, about the same height as Shin with unkempt dark hair. He wore a white shirt with a clan symbol dressed on it with black pants. Shin waved to his teammate enthusiastically. "Hey! Zaine, right? I'm Shin Kenshin. Sorry to keep you waiting."

Zaine looked at his partner in slight confusion upon encountering him, he had a very.. strange style coupled with a very upbeat attitude which was a pleasant surprise considering the reserved nature of most in the village. Zaine would take note of the young shinobi's colorful hair and clothing which was at the very least interesting and would smile back as he spoke "Shin Kenshin huh? Well, very nice to meet you. Seeing as how you know me already I guess we can skip the rest of the formalities and get to work. The hospital is in dire need of our help and im thinking the best way to tackle all the work is if I take care of inventory on the east end of the hospital and you do the west." Zaine would await his partners answer and upon hearing it he would start towards the entrance of the hospital and banking immediately right and heading over to the wing of the hospital that would be home to the cardiac and neuro unit. Zaine never had an aptitude for medical ninjutsu but even so had always an interest in craft and would take this time to learn more about the different sections as he went through the differing supplies.
First would be the neuro sector which would house patients that had been devastated by genjutsu from lower level at a C and higher level at an S. As he walked by one of the rooms he would see three shinobi gathered around one that had his head wrapped in bandages with marked kanji. The three shinobi all held the ram sign as they seemed to funnel chakra into the seals on the bandages and while this took place the screams from the ninja sporting the bandaging could be heard through the halls of the sector. Zaine would look away and wince slightly as he passed the room, completely sure that this ninja was being tormented by the lingering effects of a potent genjutsu. Finally having come across a supply area Zaine would begin sifting through the supplies marking the equipment that was expired and that would expire within the month. Amongst the supplies he came across syringes, bandages and ointments that were all stashed away with the purposes of therapeutic healing. Zaine would make quick work of this sorting and then make his way to the cardiac sector of the east wing.
Arriving at the cardiac center Zaine would come across a patient who was receiving what looked to be a blood transfusion while he laid still with closed eyes. The procedure was being overseen by a medical nurse who was keeping close eye on the vitals of the patient. The young Uchiha would waste little time staring into the room before continuing down the long hall to find the main supply area of the sector and beginning his inventory of their supplies. The supplies on this floor were similar in that they carried your standard first aid, but interestingly enough there were other bits of equipment such as electrodes, leads, and needles of varying sizes. Zaine would do as he did previously and sort the equipment into three piles: what was expires, what was going to expire within the month, and what was still good to be used. Once he had completed the inventory on this floor he would make his way back to the entrance where he would hope to find Shin Kenshin. If he was lucky enough to do so he would speak to the man before leaving "Im sorry this turned into a bit of a solo mission but im thinking next time we can go on a mission together thats a bit more.. exciting. id love to get a closer look at what youre capable of. That being said, if youre ever up for a spar dont be shy!" Zaine would say with a smile before exiting the hospital and heading back home.

The fellow chunin seemed to be pleased by Shin's presence and instead of being disturbed or off-put by his outrageous appearance. It never bothered Shin when people were, but it was nice to see a friendly approach to it. Zaine would skip the pleasantries and go straight into the mission. It threw Shin off his guard for a moment, needing a minute to snap back to reality. Zaine explained that it would probably be for the best of the mission if they had split off and done the missions on separate sides of the hospital, The Kaguya taking the east side while he would take the west side. Shin thought that was a good plan, but it would be kinda boring for Shin to do his side by himself. Instead of protesting, Shin nodded. "Agreed," He would say as they both entered the building. At least this way Shin could get the mission done and have time for a nap.
As Zaine goes to the right down the hall, Shin would take the left. The left side was more physical side of the hospital, they would house the doctor's offices and the nurses quarters. However, most importantly this was the emergency care side. If a civilian or a Shinobi were rushed to the hospital, they would take them through the left-wing of the hospital. There, they could perform emergency surgeries, treat broken bones or anything else that would need instant care. So, of course, it's storage closet would house more of the bandages, casts, and pain killers.
Shin remembered this side of the hospital because of a broken bone that he got when he was a young shinobi. It was back when both of his parents were alive. Shin had been training some basic taijutsu at their family home that he had learned at the academy. His father and mother were watching their little trooper. They were both proud and nervous for his future. They were both shinobi, so they knew what was in store for their little man's future. As young Shin was delivering a chop at a wooden pole, he misjudged his power and struck it a little too hard. His parents quickly rushed over and noticed that he had broken his hand. Young Shin was wailing as they took him to the emergency room. Back then, it was well kept. The nurses quickly evaluated the damage and had their medical specialists work on it right away. As Shin was looking around the rooms again, they looked nothing the same. There had been repeated abuse to the poor hospital under lack of funding and staff.
Continuing down the hall, Shin would find the closet that housed all the supplies. It was the reason he was there in the first place. He would see why they would hire a shinobi to do this instead of wasting their own precious time. After opening the door, he would see that ground riddled with bandages that were quickly extracted from the closet, syringes were laying on tables in a half hazard way, and medications were in random order on the shelves. Shin would start with cleaning the floor from all the bandages and wrappers, throwing away any unusable bandages and rewrapping the better ones in the storage room. Next, he would work on the syringes. Any unopened packages were kept in the drawer that they had to keep all the syringes, then would throw out any opened ones or damaged ones. Finally, organizing the medications. That turned out to be the easy part because they used to have a labelled shelf for all the types of medication. All Shin had to do was use those to reorganize the medications based on effects and uses.
The mission was over within the hour, making it one of the fastest missions Shin has ever done. Zaine and Shin met up at the end of their parts of the mission. Zaine noted that the mission was kinda boring and that they barely got to know each other but he offered for the next time that they met that they could spar. Shin smiled brightly and nodded excessively. "Hell ya, you're on. See you then." They would both go their separate ways, Zaine going home and Shin going to the training ground.
