What was this? The pale eyes of the Hyuuga, Vicious fell onto the chakra of Okami. What was once cyan in color was now coated in an ethereal sable. This would intrigue the disguised boy. Never has he seen anything like that before. 'What did he just do? His chakra looks to be contained in that coating. Is this some sort of jutsu?' His pondering would be cut as he would noticed as Koh appeared not too far off from him and the now adventurous Obami. Though to be fair his arrival was well after the Uzumaki's actions upon leaving the alley.

The eyes of the Byakugan were blinked away, the risen veins would rest and the man's original eye color would return. His stride would guide him to meet up with the Anbu to hear of his learning. So the stories were indeed true. With hands well within his coat pockets the man would look over to the left to see Okami, wanted to read his face to see what may be lingering on his mental of this discovery. Returning his eyes over to Koh he would speak. "Not a problem. The mission went smoothly, I even managed to discover something of interest." Glancing over to Okami, the man would then head out to return to the village. Once withing thirty meters of his new home village he was instantly submerged in a thick cloud of smoke. Swooshing through it as it trails off of him the young and messy hair boy with lilac eyes would emerge. The transformation jutsu was discarded and his pace immediately picked up.

Thirty meters was closed away within two to three seconds as he was now at the village gates. His eyes would turn to see the old man Han was at his post reading a paper. He looked to be content...so Souji decided to leave him be. At any rate his focus was on seeing Mizuki and going over the mission details. Upon entering the village he would blend in with the crowds of the streets as he held home.

It wasn’t long after Okami had made his way towards the caravan that Koh had leaped down from wherever he was looking and ushered Okami to return to the staging area. With all three ninjas keeping their disguises on for the time being, Koh would return saying that they had found the suspicious caravan in question and that their mission was complete. The goal was not to engage the caravan but rather the mission was only to discover their presence and return to the village with the information. Okami decided that since Koh and Vicious had confirmed what they were looking for there wasn’t any need for him to advance any further towards the caravan. Still being about 100 meters away Okami got one last good look of the men and the canvas wagon they were holding and casually turned around. Ducking behind some nearby crates, Musu would let go of his chakra suppression and perform the necessary seal for the Body Flicker technique, and quickly vanish from view for a moment. Only to reappear in from Koh and Vicious back at the staging area.

As Musu returned his attention was directly on Koh and Vicious, waiting for the next move, and following them out of the town and back to Sunagakure. He was able to take a bit of time and analyze their chakra signatures a bit more. The chakras that were coming from both Koh and Vicious appeared to be similar in some ways but Okami couldn’t quite figure out why even when they were so close from each other. It was just an instinctive feeling and nothing more. Okami couldn’t quite figure out what it was.

Koh also was impressed with Vicious’s and Okamis ability throughout the mission. This complement made Okami sigh of relief and give Koh a slight smile. There was a lot of pent up energy from Musu about whether or not he was up for this type of task, which made Okami anxious throughout some parts of the mission. For Koh, a seasoned vetran of sand, to tell Okami that he had potential was huge.

“Thank you, sir” Okami would say back to Koh as they began to leave the village.

The way back was a time of contemplation for Musu. He watched from behind Koh and Vicious, hopping from one dune of sand to the next as they raced towards Sunagakure. In reality, Musu knew that he didn’t really do enough compared to the other two on his team. While he boasted that he was a pretty good sensory ninja he couldn’t quite hold his own in comparison to those two. He should be able to figure out where people and other chakra signatures are from long distances. When he returned to the village, he was going back to the books, and trying to figure out a few techniques that could help him in this regard.

“It was a pleasure working with you both. Until next time.” Musu would say as the three ninja went their separate ways. Once he collected his Ryo Reward from mission central Musu went back home and laid in his bed unable to fall asleep. For a few hours Musu would toss and turn thinking of ways to develop his sensory skills. He decided then that would never want to be a hindrance in that way again. If he was really a hunter then he needed to stop acting like prey. These thoughts of Inadequacy haunted Musu’s thoughts until he finally was able to calm his mind down only a few hours before the Sunrise. There was nothing that Musu could do about at this moment, he needed the rest, and in the morning he could get to work on developing it. His body needed the rest now so that tomorrow he could spend the whole day really training.
