Photo Op

Photo Op:

The morning had come to the village of Suna, Kai had recently awoken and was going about his morning routine. Kai bathed and dressed in his usual outfit, a pair of black long trousers, a black, deep-v necked t-shirt, and a sash around his waist that displayed his village symbol. Kai exited his apartment and locked the door on his way out, he made his way down the hall and into the stairwell and descended to the ground floor. Kai exited the building and made his way over to the administrative building, where he picked up his mission scroll for the day, he was still being given E-rank missions, but Kai would give it his best.

Kai further read the details of the mission as he made his way to the location, he was going to be helping a traveling businessman with his photography. Kai made his way over to the man he presumed to be the client as he was at the location and was leaning on a cart of equipment, one item of which seem to be a camera to Kai. Kai waved at the man as he approached "Hi, I'm Kaibuku, I've been sent by the village to assist you today". The man perked up at the noise and a wide smile came over his face "Hi there Kaibuku, my name is Louis, it's nice to meet you". He outstretches his hand as he spoke. Kai grabbed his hand and shook it firmly "So where are we setting up shop?", the man was unhitching the horse that pulled the cart as Kai asked the question "We are going to be photographing the village entrance today, I want to try several different compositions to get the best possible picture". Kai nodded and offered his hand to the man again "Would you like me to lead the horse so you can concentrate on picking the spot?". Louis nodded and passed over the reins to Kai.

The pair visited several locations over the rest of the day and took pictures at each location, every time they got there Kai would do the heavy lifting, set up the equipment, and then break it down afterward, then lead the horse to the next location. Louis was attempting to get a perfect shot of the village entrance to put on a pamphlet that would be circulated within the village. Given the landscape of the country, there were not a lot of options for different looks at the village gates, which were more akin to steps. There were not very many chances at elevation, only at different ranges. Once the day was spent and Louis was happy with the choice of photos he had to choose from they returned to the village, Kai suspected he was there more for security but there was no notable event on that issue.

Kai bid Louis farewell as he returned him to the hotel he was staying at and then Kai returned to his home to sleep, ready for the next day.
