It was another beautiful day. Saya was woken up as the first light peeked across the horizon, chosen violence, and thrown Pinochio across the room so she could get a precious few more hours of sleep. It was now nearing noon as she takes her first steps out of her  well worn home to head to her next task. When i say well worn, of course I more specifically reffer to the waterlogged and well beaten up remains of the very nice home she'd chosen to destroy in jutsu training. It is a dificult task following our dear heroine, but someone must do it. On her back, strapped with some stray leather were two large industrial palets. She found carrying the stage around gave her the opportunity to create a great work of art the moment she was able.

In the last few days she'd met two of the other village ninja. The stronger of the two, travin with the strange blue eyes, was supposed to be meeting her for some more training after she'd sent a message using information on the card he'd given her. Pinochio had told him he'd regret giving her an all access path.

"Alright pinoch. Lets head to the destination and just hang out. I wanna see if we can get a few performances in while we wait!" Atop the pallets sat the small puppet, allowing Saya to conserve energy by not controling it just yet. They headed down long winding streets, across the entire village towards the military training area where they'd first met, and then she stopped.

"Tria no."

"It's perfect."

"Tria.."

"we're going." She'd set her sights on a creepy dark alleyway around the back of the training hall. It was in the area where she could be found by her new training partner fairly quickly, was in hearing range to ensure if he was singing, music was playing, or she was generally being herself he'd know which way to go, but otherwise was completely remote. If you asked me, dear listeners it looked like the perfect place for an ambush, but thankfully no one would dare try and attack our sweet overexcitable heroine, right?

They headed down the hallway, Saya unpacking the stage so it would be more easily set up, and leaned back against the rough wood. Now she needed to wait for someone to come by.

Saya was not a particularly patient girl. So when I tell you that she found waiting about for someone the most dull activity possible, it is with all seriousness that I state she was bored literally to the point of sleep. In her wait, her eyes grew heavy. Thankfully she was in this inconspicuous dark creepy alley where she was safe. Then someone ripped her from her slumber, causing her body to jolt up, the pallets clanging together in emphasis of her surprise.

"WH I wasn't sleeping you we... Oh. UH. I HECK HECK HECK Pinoch get the pallets! we're late! " she shifted quickly, trying to set up her stage, looking for the perfect place to use wood style to form some scenery, and then with a groan giving up.

"I... I was here so i could ambush someone walking down the street with an awesome musical performance. I had a whole outfit and everything but I suppose I screwed up. Theres always next time!" She shoved the black wig and peasant garb that was hanging slightly from the bag at her side fully back inside, shifting things around so she could get access to the other things she needed.

"Your rousing performance of on my own wouldn't exactly work when there are three of us anyway Tria. I'm sure you'll find someone to perform for after your training."

she perked up considerably at the offer for food. There was an amazing vegan poke place she'd been meaning to try but pinochio wouldn't let her because she 'wasn't allowed to go get expensive food until she finally went and got their home fixed because that was being a responsible adult'. She wasn't a responsible adult. SHe was barely a responsible teenager. Then her world shattered.

"WH. Um. No. Why would I.. I mean I would have had to teach you all.. Years of training to be able to perform in musical theater. I would never." From the bag at her side she pulled a stack of lines she'd taken the time to write out for his sections of various pieces she'd been planning. On the top was a coversheet that read 'casting call: Valjean'. She chucked them behind her haphazardly.

"Well. I thought that our training yesterday went so well that we could do some more! I'm sure theres more fun jutsu I could learn and you have water style so like.... Maybe you knew it? It like. Makes a cool water creature thats all like raawwwrrr whooooosh and pppsshhhhhhh--thats its water cannon firing"

OOC: Hello, npcer here, let's have a good clean assassination attempt

NPC Stats:

Yagami had been trained as an assassin, but there was never any practical training, or anything that could come remotely close to an actual assassination that came to her mail box, until her organization told her that she would be going on her first assassination mission, which was in Kirigakure, the village she was currently in. She had pretended to be a genin of the village, and no one would really suspect a young kid to be an assassin, and so she was raised in the village as a shinobi, until she was essentially activated, like a sleeper cell. If she could get this kill and then make it away from any pursuers, then she would be escorted out of the village by one of her contacts that was waiting nearby so that she could be taken to the actual assassination branch. This was a mission to prove herself worthy of being in the group. She had a strange but promising way of attempting to kill people, which she would showcase today, and hopefully get her mark. 

The person she was supposed to be attacking was some sort of little girl with pink hair that was apparently bubbly and liked to sing. This was strange to Yagami as she wondered why anyone would want to kill someone like this, but she was not paid to ask questions, she was just going to do what she was told. Yagami had wandered around the village looking for the quarry in the area her contact had told her that the quarry was wandering around in, and it was not difficult in the slightest to find her, as she stuck out like a sore thumb, especially when she was talking to herself, or at least it seemed that way, and Yagami followed the girl for a while, before she headed down a dark alleyway behind the training field. Was this girl asking to be killed? Did she somehow know that a hit was taken out on her and so she was purposely luring Yagami there? This was probably not the case, but just to make sure, Yagami was in an alleyway twenty meters from the girl when she started preparing. Yagami then activated her Kuikigan, and a huge spherical grid appeared in her vision, outlining the surrounding fifty meters from her. 

She zoomed her vision into the alleyway that the girl was in, and she noticed that a man had met her in the alley and was talking to her. The Kuikigan was great, but it could not allow her to hear anything they were saying, but the enhanced detail of the eye allowed her to lip read what the pink haired girl was saying, but it was essentially all useless, and it seemed that she just wanted to sing, and talked to the man about learning some water jutsu. Well, the water element was something that was important information, at least, and so Yagami was prepared to deal with that a little more than if she had no idea what this girl's elements were. Yagami did not waste anymore time, as they were talking she immediately performed three hand seals with one hand and called forth a shortbow in the other, along with a nocked arrow for it made of pure space time chakra. She immediately aimed, having done the advanced calculations in her head about the trajectory based on her and her quarry's positions, pulled back the bow, and then fired. The arrow whizzed off of the bowstring going one hundred speed directly toward the brick wall of the building that was between the two alleys, before phasing through it. 

The arrow would travel through the solid objects that made up the building and whatever was inside of it, before coming out of the wall that the pink haired girl was right next to. The girl had jolted up from dozing off, and so she was only a single foot, twelve inches, or thirty centimeters from the wall before the arrow suddenly jutted out of the solid wall. This would probably take the girl by surprise, as the arrow would re-solidify as it was coming out of the wall, allowing it to pierce through the center her neck from her right side before she could reasonably react, at least that was the goal. Since Yagami knew the speed at which the arrow would re-solidify, it was also easy for her and her special eyes to complete the complex math needed to re-solidify it before it hit the girl but after it went through the wall, it re-solidifying at seventy five speed. Since the arrow was made entirely out of space/time chakra, the arrow had seventy five sharpness as well, hopefully cutting through any instant defenses the girl might have, if she noticed the arrow at all. Meanwhile, Yagami would create and nock one more arrow, watching what the two in the alley did, this action happening before the first arrow had even reached the other alley.

AP Jutsu and Math:

The timing was calculated, the aim true, and the weapon prepared perfectly for deadly assassination, but there was one thing this new girl hadn't counted on: Saya was not the type to have a conversation standing neutrally.... or really do anything while at point of rest. The arrow slid from the wall flying with intention towards our dear protagonist. She was sorely unaware there could even be a danger in this dark alleyway she'd chosen but as she began speaking, her focus on hiding hopes of bringing Travin into her training had saved her life. She'd leaned foward. reaching into the bag at her side to find the script for a musical she'd spent the whole night preparing to share with travin, she rummaged for the stack of papers as the arrow came into view. It was unlucky to be sure, but the weapon attack passed harmlessly over her bent back about three inches from target. Now listeners. I don't fault the assassin. I fault her for ever trying to kill our dear protagonist, of course, but she could never have predicted that as she loosed the arrow Saya's natural state would move her from the position. Any other ninja would have found afterlife, so we must take a moment to apreciate the subtlety of the attack. With that done, let us watch the brilliant way our protagonist turns it around, quick witted and ready finally on task with the new goal of survival at hand.

"Wh. What was that? Did you hear something?" She was not quick witted at all. She glanced to the side for a moment, noticing the glowing energy that had just passed her before it disappeared into the wall opposite her own resting area and was simply.... what's the word? surprised? no. UH. Worried? Nope. Ah. Confused. Pinochio however was more on task.

"Travin. Someone's attacking Tria. I knew coming into this isolated dark alley was a bad idea. Up. Lets go. " The moment the attack was realized Saya's mind gripped the puppet with glowing blue strings, her fingertips shifting as she put distance between herself and the wall. Why would someone try to kill her?! That's so rude! She shifted to put distance between herself and the wall that had attacked her the moment she caught sight of the attack, pinochio's thoughts working on her body, and turned to where her assailant was.

"Wh. How do we even fight a wall?! There are ninja walls?!"

One minute Travin was talking to Saya and the next an arrow was flying through the wall. It wasn’t but by dumb luck, the girl wasn’t killed by it. Travin acted with the response time of someone that has been put in life or death situations more times than they could count. Which is to say very fast. Before the arrow had gone completely over Saya Travin had already activated his Seigan and from under the sleeve of his loose-fitting kimono had already made three hand seals. Tiger, Snake, Dragon at a speed of 85 while water flowed up from one of the nearby puddles that seemed to always be around in the mist villages more shadow-filled areas. The water rising up at a speed of 42 taking the form of Travin. “I’ll distract him and you come in and finish the job.” Travin would tell Saya while forming three more hand seals from under the sleeve of his kimono while he waited a couple of seconds for the water clone to finish forming. With the completion of his next three hand seals, Travin opened small portals within the sleeve of his kimono. 

To anyone without x-ray vision, it would appear as though Travin had mastered this jutsu to not require hand seals. With his preparation complete Travin and his clone both focused chakra to the bottoms of their feet. Before running up the wall towards the direction the arrow had come from. Travin was happy that the arrow had come through the shorter of the two walls creating the ally only standing around 10 feet tall. Both Travin and his clone kept the Seigan active and an eye on a strong chakra signature coming from the next alley over. If they fired another arrow both Travin and the clone would be able to see the arrow when it passed through the building due to the chakra coating the arrow. 

While running across the roof Travins water clone would be fingering a kunai in both hands that was pulled from the pockets within the sleeve of the kimono itself. While Travin using both hands this time made several hand seals in preparation for the assault. Ram, Tiger, Dog, Snake, Bird, Dragon, Ram holding the last hand seal to not use the jutsu till needed.

Yagami slightly panicked when the girl suddenly moved forward, causing the arrow rto miss its intended target, as she thought that maybe the ditzy looking girl somehoe predicted it, but what happened right after dispelled these thoughts, as the girl did not even know what had really happened. The man beside her sprung into action, though, making Yagami think that he was far more experienced, maybe some sort of guard for the girl with seemingly OCD tendencies, so Yagami thought that she might have to take him out first. He immediately created a water clone, something that was within Yagami's line of sight because of her doujutsu, and so she kept track of the real one and the clone's positions throughout the time when they both started running. As soon as she saw her attempt fail, she knew that she had a problem, and started to think about potential counter measures, but she could only really bet on catching the man by surprise. She was doubtful that the same trick would work again, as he was vigilant when running along the wall towards the roof tops, but she had to try anyways, and she had another trick up her sleeve that might do the job. 

Yagami quickly aimed her bow again, the arrow already nocked, but would aim it at the man this time. The man was running fairly quickly, but due to her eyes, it was easy to lead him based on his speed. He and his clone were running quite evenly, so Yagami waited a bit. She waited a couple of seconds, allowing the man to get close before she shot the arrow. She would shoot the arrow so that it would hit the man's chest when he was six meters away from her up on the roof from where he was running. The man would sense the arrow coming when he was eight meters away from Yagami, but that did not matter. As the arrow got within five meters of the man, Yagami would attempt something that would most likely take him by surprise and allow him to be hit, at least if there were no other surprises to be had. Mass Shift was instantly used when the arrow was five meters away from the man, dislodging a brick rapidly upward so that it would strike the man's ankle, most likely causing him to trip and fall.

While tripping, it did not matter whether he could sense the arrow coming from the roof that he was previously standing on, it would still hit him if he did not have a movement ability he could use in the air. Yagami would end the jutsu she was using right after the arrow hit or missed, causing her phasing bow to blink out of existence, before she started running out of the alley. Just in case, she still started using hand seals with her left hand, her right hand grabbing a smoke bomb from her pocket and throwing it down, obscuring the area of the alley she was in. There were only two ways that she could run if she did not want to run into the woman she was targeting, which were either south or east, as the west was the dead end of the alley, and she did not want to draw that much attention to herself by running along the roof like the man did. Her left hand performed five hand seals, still tracking where the man, clone, and girl were from above. The girl would most likely be running through the alley towards Yagami, but even if she wasn't it was fine. Yagami would target the woman with the Iron Maiden summoning jutsu, the two halves rising out of the ground five meters from her at seventy speed. If she was in the alley, the iron maiden would rise in front and behind her, essentially trapping her in the alley unless she went up, but Yagami felt that the Maiden was fast enough to prevent that, at least hopefully. If the girl did go up first, then Yagami would still target her, having the halves pop up in front and behind her so that she could not continue forward or backward, and have to choose a side. 

This was assuming that she was nineteen meters away from Yagami, as that was the furthest she could be and still have the Iron Maiden form around her. The Iron Maiden would then slam shut, attempting to pierce the girl to death with a bunch of spikes. Whether or not she was still alive, the Iron Maiden would sink into the earth, burying her. Yagami continued running, choosing the east path, which led towards more networks of back alleys instead of south, which led to more open area near the market place and food stalls. Yagami had a great advantage with her top down perspective of where everyone was, but this was only really useful in the alley ways, to set up ambushes and take people by surprise. She was not very strong up close and personal with people.

AP Jutsu, and Math:

"Pinochio!" With a shift in her hand Saya and pinochio were off light a rocket, the chakra strings moving her at a speed of 87 as pinochio rode on her shoulders, legs draped around her neck to hold on. waiting would be her great downfall. As the assasin lined up a shot, letting Travin get within 8 meters, Saya was able to make it to the end of the alley, The forward pulled momentum of the strings allowing her to form 4 hand signs and be read as she kept the 20m distance the wall between them provided. Finally she turned the corner, crossing into the danger zone as the arrow released, and reacted. She saw the metal slip from the earth and her chakra pulsed. A great Oak tree lifted her up, reaching the five meter height of the Iron maiden only moments after the jutsu started to move to close around her. she shot off the top of the tree, using the still closing jutsu as a stepping stone, and when it clamped around the mokuton construct it's 77 health and speed would keep it from fully locking, the cosplay queen well out of the way. The danger of this jutsu however was not in its ability to lift her out of an iron maiden, but in the great power of her summoning.

The opening to the alley she'd been hiding in closed itself off, Her opponents decision to stay stationary as the pair crossed 12m distance proving her downfall. A wall of trees broke through the earth to sprout up between the two walls she'd used for cover, closing her pathway to the 3 directions she'd planned to pick for her exit. More and more large trees grew around Saya, providing springboards to push her towards her target. If she chose to still drop the smoke bomb, It would circulate in the closed off corridor to provide her protection, but she expected her partners eyes would solve that problem. She continued forward, eyes peeled for anything that could be considered a threat as she formed five signs.
